Arda's time has drawn to an end, as all good things must. Remember it with fondness, and may it rest in peace.

Goodbye, everyone, I loved you all and Arda very dearly.

Former members may still log in and view all the old posts (now showing all posts, not just in-character and profiles), but the board is unavailable to new registrants and officially read-only. The CBox is still functional and many people still stop by to say hello.

This site's host, InvisionFree (zIFBoards), is transferring all the boards they host to their updated platform known as ZetaBoards as of an announcement on 7/17/2017. Arda has been converted as of January 2018. You can expect to see some visual changes when you visit, but all data (posts, accounts, forums, etc) remains intact.

Additionally, Photobucket stopped allowing hotlinking from its free accounts in 2017 so many images are currently "missing."
All files are still safely stored and awaiting transfer to a better hosting solution. You can read here for more info.

Per an additional announcement on 5/7/18, this board is being converted a second time, this time to TapaTalk from ZetaBoards. Details pending further information.

Keepers øf ŧhe Sacred Đeed

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Healing Falls
If one was to travel behind Keeper's Peak, and walk along the side of the mountain for some ways, one would come upon the Healing Falls. This name comes from a myth that there is a hidden waterfall upon the Sacred Mountain where one can be healed of all wounds, physically and emotionally. Whether or not this is true, it serves as a very comforting place to sit and enjoy the wonderful mountain view.

Reaching the top of the Mountain Hall, one will enter through a small hole at the top of the mountain, where Keeper's Peak is located. Thought by some to be one of the most holy places in the world, Keeper's Peak stands at the stop of Sacred Mountain and serves as the primal meeting area for all of the Keepers of the Sacred Deed. Keeper's Peak resembles a small shrine, and is circular in shape. There are four windows around the circle made up of pillars. Each window faces the opposite of another. In the middle is another circular object made of beautiful marble, and even in the center of this is a large circular flower that is also made of marble. In the center of the flower is a floating sword with a red jewel embedded within the hilt. The marble 'table' which the flower sits upon has several Elvish Cirth Runes upon it, and serves as a portal to the Goddess of Life's teleportation room. Keeper's peak is always surrounded by a thick fog that hides the rituals of the Keepers, and also is coated with magic that prevents any evil from reaching the peak.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Mountain Hall
Hidden in the back of the cave entrance is a small, narrow, and dark passageway. The passageway continues for about 100 feet before leading into an extremely large opening within the mountain. The opening looks like an immensely large room filled with staircases. Despite the appearance, there is a single staircase that leads to the top of the mountain, but connects to various stone "rooms". These rooms contain wooden desks, chairs, and even beds that are purposed for study and rest. The "Mountain Hall" extends upward for a considerable length, and may even take a day's travel to traverse.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Cave Entrance
If one has been contacted by the Keepers, then the hidden cave's location will be revealed to them. Upon entering the cave, one will see an array of colors that sparkle in the sunlight and glimmer in the moonlight. Because of the caves age, many stalactites and other formations have grown over thousands of years that create a magnificent view which never fails to awe. Within the cave is also hidden a giant tortoise. This creature is nearly impossible to spot among the several rocks, boulders, and other geographical features. The tortoise serves as a guard for the cave against any intruders, and with its great power will not hesitate to attack evil intruders. While the entrance is small, the cave itself is very large, but does not extend for long before it narrows once again, leading into a darker area.
