Arda's time has drawn to an end, as all good things must. Remember it with fondness, and may it rest in peace.

Goodbye, everyone, I loved you all and Arda very dearly.

Former members may still log in and view all the old posts (now showing all posts, not just in-character and profiles), but the board is unavailable to new registrants and officially read-only. The CBox is still functional and many people still stop by to say hello.

This site's host, InvisionFree (zIFBoards), is transferring all the boards they host to their updated platform known as ZetaBoards as of an announcement on 7/17/2017. Arda has been converted as of January 2018. You can expect to see some visual changes when you visit, but all data (posts, accounts, forums, etc) remains intact.

Additionally, Photobucket stopped allowing hotlinking from its free accounts in 2017 so many images are currently "missing."
All files are still safely stored and awaiting transfer to a better hosting solution. You can read here for more info.

Per an additional announcement on 5/7/18, this board is being converted a second time, this time to TapaTalk from ZetaBoards. Details pending further information.

Regular Forum Lady's Quarters
Along with the goddess's quarters, there are the rooms of her preists and preistesses. Everything is lavashly furnished with the uncertain deep colors of opals and the sheer brillance of purls. Every aspect of every room reflected the balance of good and evil.

Regular Forum Repentance Hollow
The two doors close with a heavy thud. Their jagged rock surface cast eerie shadows on the black marble floor below. The walls are a glossy black stone as well, reflecting the events at the center of circular room. In the heart of the chamber stands a large black ball, resembling dark lightning. It has an eerie aura to it, and it lets out echoes of crackling as each shock spreads across its surface. One by one, people enter the room, and kneel at the foot of the black light. A stone balcony stands above the two doors, overlooking the entire small room. Black velvet curtains are closed behind it, blocking all sound and light from the room. There the Goddess watches, invisible to the people below. She wears a heavy black cloak, the hood pulled up over her head, shadowing her face. She watches as one by one, people kneel at the black light, praying for forgiveness. If the person was serious, and true, they felt the heavy weight from their shoulders lift, and they stood, walking from the room smiling. If the person was fake and false, she knew, and so did the light, for she was poured into it. The person would see a black snake-like vine, from the ball of light, move towards them. The burden on their shoulders would grow, and then a tattoo was etched into the flesh at the base of their wrist. They would then stand, and stumble out of the room, some in tears, some cursing, and some realizing what they had done, and waiting to re-enter the chamber. And there The Goddess stands, watching one by one, the people pray.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Chamber of Undying Faith
Inaccessible without the approval of the goddess herself, little is known about the chamber of the faith. It is said that it changes with each person who enters, switching its contents to fit what the person came for. The most loyal and respectable people will be given permission to enter. Those who want permission, must request it from the goddess or one of her priests.

Regular Forum Room of Healing
Two cloth-like doors are brought together closing off the echos of prayers from the room outside. Soft mumbles of new prayers wrap around this room alone, prayers for healing, for wisdom, and for guidance. The room is considerably smaller than the one it branched from, though sharing the same circular shape. At the center stands a large ball of white light, shocks, like tiny bolts of lightning shooting over its unclear surface. Every so often, someone would finish their prayer, and look to the light for a reply. The worthy watched a thin strand from the light flow towards them, or the person they were praying for, and enter their body. The unworthy got nothing but a faint whisper in their ear stating, "What needs be, will be. Have faith." There are chairs and beds lined along the wall for the wounded and fatigued, some filled with the un-well already.
Leaning against the ball of light stands the Goddess. Her hair is loose, passing her shoulders and falling on her working robes. The robes themselves are draped over her body somewhat loosely, but are brought together, tightly bound at her waist, resembling a Kimono. As always, one side of her robes are a pure white, while the other is night black. She watches... and listens... to everything.

Deep in the bowels of the Temple of Order lays a series of doors set up within a contours of a twisted labyrinth. Such scenery sets the scene for the goddess' tournament of mind and muscle.

Regular Forum The Courtyard
A bench stands between the two sides, half with the pure, the sheer brilliance of its righteousness cast upon one single side of the simple bench. The other side cast with the dark and deep looking. It had a glossy sheen to it, but when looking closer, is found to be the silent cries of pain, frozen in time and etched into the seat. The design at the top of the back rest is a scale, split at the exact halfway point as the other part of the bench. Though there is one difference... a pronounced one at that. The normal side of the scale, that should have been the purest of white, was a dark painful black, and the side where the darkest of black should dwell, sits only the purest of white. Opposites in an obvious way. At the exact center of the bench, where the two sides meet sits a woman. Her hair a long silver, etched in spits of black. Her hands rest limply in her lap, one set of nails painted a pearl, the other a constant changing mysterious color. The same goes with her eyes. One is an ashen color, swirls of an extreme pale rose only faintly apparent. The other eye is hidden by strands of hair. A breeze brushes across her cheek, sliding the hair away and revealing a black eye, forever changing in appearance and texture. A smile dances on her pale rouged lips as she stares out at the courtyard before her.
