Wednesday, December 20^th is Arda's Top 5 Holiday Giveaway! We have 5 special prizes cooked up for the top 5 posters of the day! The co-admins and I will be graciously excluding ourselves from the top 5, so don't worry if you see one of us in the top slots, we don't count because we're always filling requests and stuff that give us more posts - not fair to you all trying to earn an honest prize! We'll also be keeping 10 sets of extra sharp eyes out for spammers, so don't try and earn your way into the top 5 by posting a bunch in the forum games or welcoming everyone on earth, etc. You will be disqualified if there are issues with how you got to the top 5.

So, be sure to come and role-play your little hearts out Wednesday (tomorrow!), there will be some unique items to look forward to. It should be a good time since everyone will hopefully take extra care to show up and post, so look forward to some great activity!

The day will be over at around midnight in the GMT -5 time zone (my time zone), I'll be basing activity off of the stats I see on my own time zone, because it's really the only way I can keep track of it. :xmastongue: So, for you UK people and others, as long as you post a lot during the day while you're here it'll still carry over just fine. :xmassmile:

It'll have to be done per-account to be easiest to keep track of, and most fair as well. There isn't much I can do about people inconvenienced by living on the opposite side of the world outside of the advice I already gave, I don't have any other options. :no: And what's with the negativity, eh? :poke: There will be plenty of people and plenty of posting, so come have fun ^_^

Although it's a good idea I personally like the thought that it only happens once in a while seeing that Arda has already a pretty stable number of members to keep it going.

Yeah, and if that event happened every month you would maybe get alot of spam in the games forums and stuff, we want to get to 100K through more RP posts ^_^

There could be money rewards. It doesn't take away from this being special because it's not some super rare item or something cool like that, and it could be given to the top three posters of every month. Kinda like a "Member of the Month." We could even have a special forum where we put up photos of all the old winners.
