Title: Crack The Puppet!
Description: [P] Puppet, Aaris and Tilorn [P]
Alba Meria - December 18, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
Standing in a clearing near Lake Aelin was a tall man covered by a large red cloak that fully covered up the man. Unknow to all who would be able to see this man was the fact that below this cloak he wore a full set of Bloodshed Armour given to him by Ita, the Goddess of Chaos. The dark figure also had some weapons upon his body, his Bloodshed Shield laying on his back under the cloak, a Katar resting within a holster at the back of his waist and also the Longsword of Bloodshed hanging at the figures left side. All these weapons alone would be enough for most battles, but it was the mans main two weapons that sent fear into most men. For in his right hand the cloaked fiend held a large scythe in a death grip. This scythe was none other than Dark Death, the main weapon of the Chaos Phoenix Alba Meria.
The other weapon this man had was somewhat new, is was a large twin bladed halbred that hung on the mans back, the long pole like handle held in place under the Bloodshed Shield with the blades slighty sticking out into the air, one blades tip over the left shoulder of Alba while the other beautiful made blade of this weapon pointed out a little near his leg. Alba was just standing with his scythe help tight within his hand looking out onto the water of Lake Aelin. The wind then began to slowly pick up power and speed and knocked the hood of Albas down to show his medium lenghted white hair. His hair also had red tips which was natural for Alba.
His dark red eyes slowly scanned along the water as a twisted dark smirk drew across the lips of the Phoenix. Raising his free left hand up towards the lake Alba said in a dark and deep rasping voice, "The will of water? water has no will of its own, for I control your movements!" After these words parted the lips of the Phoenix the water infront of him began to rise into the air a large ball. Alba let out his chaotic laught into the bright sky as he used his power over Water. It had been so long since the Phoenix had used this power, yet he still had perfect control over his powers. Alba then widdened his now blazing red orbs and let out a yell of sheer power towards the floaring orb of water before him.
The orb of liquid then imploded and the water fell back into the lake. Oh the joys of total control. Alba once again broke into sheet manic laughter, the birds quickly leaving the area around him in fear. Suddently however the Phoenix heard a starnge noise near, someone else was near by and it seemed as though they were drawing ever closer to the Phoenix. The eyes of Alba began to slowly dim down once more becoming a dark red in colour now. The Phoenix then turned around on the spot to look behind him. If someone was coming closer to Alba then he would be ready to rip their heart out in a moments notice. The dark smirk spread across his lips a little more as the winds began to pick up, yes Alba had control over both the water and winds. And at the exact spot that the Chaos Phoenix stood he had the perfect source for both the air and water.
The Chaos Knight, Alba Meria then said out into the forest around around the lake, "I suggest that you show yourself now! It may help you in the long run, What I mean is that if you are to show your face now, then I shall make your death quick and painless! Now come! Battle me, Battle Alba Meria the Chaos Phoenix!" All that wad now left to do was wait on however was drawing closer, Alba was ready for a battle and in truth the Phoenix needed to spill someones blood badly at that moment in time. His lust for the blood of others was rising, and unless the person drawing closer was a friend of Albas then the Phoenix was going to attack!
Puppet Boy - December 19, 2006 05:02 AM (GMT)
The creature (that is what we must call him for he is neither man nor pheonix) stood just beyond the waters edge awaiting a reply. The lake knocked against the ground below him as the ripples reached their end. The white caps of the mountains could just be seen of the horizen. Magnificent trees with golden fall leaves surrounded the area. One might even say they were on fire. The air was chilly but not cold as it blew at Alba heading for the lake.
Time seemed to slow, and nature seemed to hold its breathe in suspense not knowing what lay hidden amoungst the forest. Not even the insects of the ground dared to move, but then a fox jumped out from its hiding place releasing the tension that had filled the area.
The breeze as if suddenly takenaback suddenly began to blow in the opposite direction. The lake become rigid as if it were solid. Not even the smallest of wrinkles moved across its glassy depths. All that could be seen moving upon it was a dot.
It moved slowly but grew as it drew nearer. As it drew closer one might think it a herd of sea serpents with a crest on the center snake, but that would be incorrect. It was not a herd of sea serpents but one with several head, and the crest on the center one was not a crest but a small being standing erect.
The being held its hands to the heavens as if calling for something. A dark mist seemed to seep out from his very being. At first it was thin being nothing more than a vapor, but it grew and thickened shrowding the the beast and its master within. The smoke rolled across the lake as the two grew nearer.
The beast master, a small puppet name Willow, could easily see through the smoke no matter how thick it was because he could see the heat of objects around him. He drew his sword that was just as long as himself as the smoke rolled over the banks and quickly spread into the woods.
It did not wait for formal introductions. As soon as he was close he jumped from his mount and lunged forward hoping to catch the creature somewhere around his lower belly because he could not reach much higher.
((The hydra will not fight; I just wanted to use him for the dramatic entrance.))
The rigid waters and shift in wind direction are explained by control winds andcontrol water.
Alba Meria - December 20, 2006 11:58 AM (GMT)
Quickly turning back to look upon the water Alba seen something will many heads moving towards him, it was a stange sight indead, but the thing that stood out most was the little figure atop one of the beasts heads. Alba smirked towards this sight and thought to himself, "Oh look at that. Its that damn Puppet of the Keepers." His grip around the scythe became a tight death grip thanks to the his Bloodshed Gauntlets. He then looked on as the pathetic Puppet made the thick fog lay along ground. Waiting for a moment Alba smirked and then used his Teleport spell to appear on a thick branch of one of the trees around himself and the Puppet.
It was clear that their was no love lost between Alba Meria and the Keepers, and the fact that a member of them was now within his sights brought him great joy. He knew for a fact this puppets main weapon was his magic, and with the Dark Death held in his grip Alba had that little problem solved. His scythe could drain the mana from one being and give the drained mana to Alba in return, it was the perfect weapon for this kind of combat. Alba then seen the movement on the small puppet diving into the smoke in order to hit Alba, of course the Phoenix had teleported long before this, seeing puppets attempt to strike Alba had to hold back his laughter. Instead the Phoenix quickly cast two of his own spells for the battle, two spells that would indead make the puppet below think again about fighting Alba.
Raising his free left hand Alba softly said, in such a low tone that even the puppet would have a hard time hearing him, "Feel the power of the sky!" These words triggered Albas two spells. The sky began to darken and within a matter of seconds the spells Meteor and Moon Rock took effect. The large chunks of the moon and the large Meteor rocks falling down from the sky towards the area in which the Puppet known as Willow stood, the spell would also effect a large area around the puppet as well so Alba did not worry much. Sure he knew the small freak like being could Teleport away, but Alba did not care at all, he only wanted to play for the time being. The Phoenix was holding back his power alot and was determined not to use his power to its peak right away.
The Chaos Phoenix would still wait for the spell of Willows to lose effect before attacking however, that way he would be able to see clearly. This foolish puppet was facing one man that he could never get rid of, even the weapons that Willow had were almost the size of his body, and unless being reforged for the Puppet to use then the weapons would surely also be heavy in his grasp. The battle had only just started and already Alba knew that it would provide him with atleast a little bit of entertainment, a little but not much.
Puppet Boy - December 21, 2006 01:31 AM (GMT)
Willow was a bit socked to find that the heat source that he had seen through the smoke was nothing more than the same fox that Alba had shouted at only seconds earlier. He pulled his blade free from the carcass and cursed himself for killing the creature.
Willow looked around with a cautious eye attempting to find his foe. Even with his special eyes he did not see him close by, but he eventually saw him hiding in a tree beyond the limits of the smoke. Willow lips lifted into a smile as his hands gripped his blade tighter.
He began to plot his next move, but before he could devise a decent plan the heavens opened and began raining its wonders down toward Willow. Willow naturaly was gone in the next second only to reappear behind Alba.
"Greetings," he said as a magical energy burst around his body. His body seemed to relax a little as if a great weight had been lifted from his body. He lifted his sword into the air laughed and brought it back down through the limb which the both sat on.
((I used Strengthen on myself.))
Alba Meria - December 21, 2006 02:18 AM (GMT)
The next thing Alba heard was the words of Willow from behind him as the puppet said, only one word that word being "Greetings," Alba knew he had to move quickly, but it was best to wait until the last moment. Right as the blade of puppets came down to Alba he quickly used his Teleport power once more to appear on the branch above the small wooden boy. Alba then quickly placed his left hand out near the back of Willow and said, "May your body feel true pain!" With this said the Phoenix cast his spastic limbs spells of the puppet boy before him. The best thing about this spell was the fact it was not a projectile spell, if aimed correctly it will instantly take effect of the person it was intended for. This spell would cause the small puppet to fall to the ground then the muscles, or in this case wooden joints, of the target would start to go into a spasm by either violently shaking or contorting/cramping. But the best thing about using it on the puppet was, as Alba said out loud, "Wood does not bend! It snaps!!" Right after this Alba quickly Teleported down to the ground not seeing if his attack had went through.
Once back on the ground Alba let out a small sigh, the smoke spell had stopped as had Albas two magic spells he used before. His grip began to get tighter around the scythe in his hand as Alba got ready incase the Puppet had managed to somehow survive the last attack. The Chaos Phoenix then also took his Butterfly Halbred into his left hand, now with both his favourite weapons in hand Alba was ready to turn Willow into firewood. After all that was all a puppet was good for in the eyes of Alba.
As he waited and slowly regained some of his Mana Alba then said, "Grace my speed Ita!" By saying this the Chaos Phoenix had cast Blur on himself, not for a few minutes his movements would appear as nothing but a blue blur to Willow, yes it was a good plan, to confuse the small wooden child by moving so fast that he would not be able to track down Alba. This battle was starting to become fun!
Puppet Boy - December 21, 2006 02:51 AM (GMT)
Willow felt a thought cross Alba's mind right before he disappeared. Images of the puppet in intense pain swam across the mental link. He felt the spell "Spastic Limbs" float through the creatures mind.
Interesting idea, Willow thought to himself as he looked up to where he knew the creature would reappear. "But not good enough," he said aloud as he waved his left hand in front of himself warding off the spell as it was cast with "Dispell Magic."
Alba teleported to the ground, maybe to avoid a counterattack. Fool, does he not realize what happened to a tree branch if it becomes no longer attached to the tree? Willow asked himself as he looked down to watch the limb fall toward Alba. [i]He is attacking himself. Why do anything?[i]
Alba Meria - December 22, 2006 05:32 PM (GMT)
((OOC: I didnt Teleport to the base of the tree, thus the branch is nowhere near me!))
The Chaos Phoenix looked up into the trees, his blur spell now in effect upon him. He smirked towards the Puppet as a large branch crashed into the ground, it seemed like this living doll thought Alba has teleported to the base of the tree, this made a light laugh escape the lips of Alba. It was now time to bring the puppet down! Alba darted forward towards the tree, his entire body nothing more than a red and black blur, the form of Alba passed by the tree that Willow was still in, but as he passed it the blade of Dark Death cut into the bark of this tree.
From the impact of the attack the tree snapped and began to fall to the ground, oh the joy of destroying nature, it always made Alba feel a strange rush of rage within him. Nature seemed somewhat usless to the Phoenix and he was ready to sent this puppet back to the chipper! As the tree began to fall Alba quickly turned round to face it, his gauntlets were now engulfed in crimson lightning that had spread to the tips of both his weapons. Using this lightning to his advantage Alba pointed his scythe out and used the lightning to cast his Crimson Lightning spell.
The Crimson lightning crackled through the air and made contact to the falling tree. this caused the tree to burst into flames from the power of this lightning. Seeing the now burning tree falling to the ground below Alba let of a sick and very twisted laugh that made any sign of animals run deeper into the forest around him. It was so perfect, Alba had only just started this fight and could not wait to rip apart this puppet part by part! Oh the joy of killing for Chaos!
Puppet Boy - December 24, 2006 07:42 AM (GMT)
The puppet quickly let go of the tree as it lost its support and fell. The puppet, however, did not. He had cast a spell over himself the second he had noticed the creatures blade hit the trunk of the tree. He now flew free of the tree without a scratch on him.
Willow's mind filled with rage as he watched his kin burn. He could hear his brother call out to him in pain, but he could do nothing to save him. He could not quench that fire. All he could do is assure his fallen kin that he would avenge his death.
"Alba," he screamed, "my fallen cousin commands me. I will destroy you for what you have done. You have no respect for nature so it will have no respect for you. I hope you have prepared your soul for the afterlife because it will soon pass into judgement."
Willow's eyes turned black and hollow. He looked as if something primitive had snapped inside of him. He held up his shaking arms as mana flowed from them to the ground. It spun around as it gathered in a circle hovering four feet from the dirt.
The mana flowed into the one spot until enough had been gathered. It then turned black as a hole appeared out of thin air. A wind holwed through it escaping into arda. Harder and harder it blew until a furry paw crossed through it. Another paw followed and another until their were four. Attached to the four was a mighty beast with razor sharp fangs dropping from its upper jaw. It was a saber-tooth tiger.
Alba Meria - December 26, 2006 06:34 PM (GMT)
"Alba, my fallen cousin commands me. I will destroy you for what you have done. You have no respect for nature so it will have no respect for you. I hope you have prepared your soul for the afterlife because it will soon pass into judgement." These were the words that Alba heard from the foolish puppet. A smirk forming along the lips of Alba as he looked up to face this puppet boy. So he didnt like it when people attacked nature hmm? This was something Alba would need to make sure to ALWAYS do infront of the Puppet to continue to enrage him further and further.
Thats when Willow began to cast a spell, soon Alba seen a vortex like thing appear infront of him and an animal slowly emerge from this vortex. Soon a large saber tooth tiger was infront of the Phoenix. Looking up towards Willow once more Alba said, "You fool! Is this the best you could do?" The tiger then leaped towards Alba with great force, just as he was about to get hit Alba teleported behind this beast, quickly turning to face it and casting his spastic limbs spell onto the beasts body. Then not seeing if his spell had taken effect Alba pushed forward also making for a strike on the beasts neck. It was after these two attacks that Alba teleported again now infront of the beast. He had not seen if his attacks had made their mark and he didnt care much.
But the destruction of this Phoenix was not over yet. He then let out a loud scream and jumped into the air. The Bloodshed Boots slamming into the ground as Alba landed. As the boots made contact with the ground a large crack opened up in the ground and a wave of lava began to spew forth from the crack. The nature within this area was indead in alot of trouble this day, and there was little this puppet could do to stop it, except by stopping Alba himself!
Puppet Boy - January 12, 2007 05:24 AM (GMT)
Willow gasped in horror. The hell-bound soul had caused a stream of magma to flow from the earth's crust. Willow cursed himself for professing his love for the earth, because it is well known that if someone cold hearted like Alba discovers you or what you love they will destroy it. Willow could not see how he could stop him if he continued to use magic to destroy the nature around them. He could stop some of the spells with his dispell, but he doubted he was skilled enough to stop them all.
Willow cursed the phoenix spawn and landed knowing what he must do and the dangers of it. First he unsummoned his own summon which was now whimpering with at least one broken leg. Willow then reached into his pocket and pulled out a glass vile of grey liquid. Closing his eyes and preparing for the smell he knew was about to hit him, he uncorked the bottle. A foul odor emitted from the bottle and quickly spread its fumes throughout the nearby area.
With a little effort he smiled at the halfling beast and said, "bottoms up." He tipped the vail back and let the revolting mixture pour down his throat. Chah chah the puppet coughed as the glass container slid from his wooden hands and fell to the ground rolling away. Willow hit the ground shortly after. His body began to change in mere seconds. His arms and legs jolted around harder than Alba had intended them to with his spell he had cast earlier, so why had the puppet taken this drink voluntarily?
After the pain ceased and his body went limp again, the puppet stood, but he was no puppet. He had doubled in size. He now resembled a small ent like creature. Grass had grown through his glued on wig, and moss wrapped around his body. The potion he had taken had turned him into a beast like form of himself.
"Now we fight," he said in a much lower voice. He raised his hands into the air, and without saying a word cast a spell over the area stopping both of them from being able to use magic. He knew that his skill with a sword was substandard, and he also knew that Alba was somewhat skilled with his blades. Although, Willow was unsure how skilled. In any event this was safer for nature.
((I know that it does not stop your magical properties of items, but Willow is unaware of that so it makes the most since. I am pretty sure you know, but it also does not stop potions.))
Alba Meria - January 13, 2007 06:35 PM (GMT)
The Phoenix looked on as this puppet fool landed upon the ground and un-summoned his beast. Seeing this made a dark smirk appear along the twisted lips of Alba. He wanted this wooden boy dead and he would make sure either that happened, or that the puppet went through major pain. But something was wrong; Alba could see the small puppet reaching for something, a potion of some kind. Raising one of his eyebrows Alba looked on as Willow let the liquid slip down his throat. It was then that the change began to happen.
Willow began to transform, no wait, mutate would have been a better way of describing this kind of change. He had grown in height and in turn had become more well, tree like. It was clear to Alba at that point in time that Willow was using a method he would have preferred not to have needed. That’s when the Puppet, or rather tree now, said; "Now we fight," Hearing these words slip from Willows lips, if they could be called lips, Alba tightened his grip upon the large black and blood red scythe. It was now time to prove to this tree like being that the power of the Chaos Phoenix had still not shown its true fury yet!
But it was just when Alba was about to attack that he felt his mana bind stopping him from casting spells. Although this would hold back a lot of his power Alba did not mind much, he was a master with Pole arm weapons, mainly his scythe of course, and was going to show that fact to Willow within a few moments time. Before setting out on his attack Alba said; “Hmm an Anti – Magic Field? I must say, nice move Willow. But i'm afraid that will not stop me this day. For you see even within this field I can use my training from the Goddess of Chaos herself. It is time for you to feel the rage of the Phoenix!!” It was then that the entire body of Alba erupted in a mass of raging blue flames with his Will of Chaos ability taking effect on him. The power of the Phoenix was now in view to this Willow; yet was still not at its full force.
Letting his twisting laugh ring through the air around the lake Alba let the blue flames continue to spread all the way along his body. Another great this about this Chaotic Ability was that Alba was able to manipulate the fire in any way that was both offensive and defensive. It was now time to attack, yet this wooden boy would regret the day that he let up an Anti – Magic Field within a battle against the Chaos Phoenix. The sheet force of Chaos within Arda was about to be shown, and by one that had been trained by the Chaos Goddess, and in turn had learned some skills from her.
The laugh of Alba soon ended and without another word the Phoenix launched his attack. He burst towards Puppet at a run, the flames of course still covering his body and now also his scythe. Drawing in closer the Chaos Phoenix ran the blade of his scythe down through the air towards the form of Willow. If this attack were to infact hit then it would have a very high chance of causing a lot of damage for two reasons. One was that the scythe was a reforged Dark Blade, and the second was that the blade and form of Alba was covered in blue flames that would prove fatal to wood. And to add even more force onto the attack Alba pushed his left hand forward towards Willow letting a blast of blue flames erupt from his hand. It was clear Alba was finally showing his love of battle, along with his lust for killing!
Puppet Boy - February 1, 2007 03:43 AM (GMT)
Willow’s eye widened in panic, as the beast’s body erupted in blue flames. What magic is this, that my magic does not negate it? the morphed puppet questioned himself. I better not let those flames get to close. They looker harsher than the ‘peckers.
Willow jumped back as Alba thrust forward at him, the flames bursting from his body toward the wooden warrior. Willow now had to find a way to attack in a mealy battle without getting to close. He still did not regret his decision though because nature was far more precious to him than life.
Willow reached into his satchel and pulled out two four-sided shuriken. “Taste these!” he called out awkwardly. He threw the stars at the chaotic malevolence that stood before him, threatening to destroy all the forest.
((A day late a dollar short, oh well, maybe we can finish it.
Alba Meria - February 5, 2007 11:09 AM (GMT)
The smirk spread along the lips of Alba wider as Willow jumped back from his attack. It seemed this wooden boy did not like fire just like Alba thought. It was then that Willow spoke once more and threw some four-sided shuriken towards the form of Alba. The Phoenix just looked on as the small metal spinning disks drew in closer towards him; they were about to connect with his armour! And that’s exactly what happened. The disks smashed against the armour of Alba but thanks to the effects of the Bloodshed Armour they bounced off of the armour and fell back onto the ground below.
That’s when the laughing started. Albas twisted laugh rang through the air as Willow tried to protect his nature. But now it was time for the Phoenix to really make this foolish puppet angry! He placed his left hand out towards a group of trees, with the blue chaotic flames still crawling over his body, and then used his power over the flames to make them fire from his hand towards the growing trees. Nature was about to be destroyed once more and the Phoenix could not care one bit in truth!
The force of the flames caused cracks to appear within the trunks of the trees before they ignited in raging flames themselves. Yes to see nature burn like was nice, but what would be even better is seeing the reaction of this puppet to what the Phoenix had down to his “family” so to speak. After the attack on the trees it was time for Alba to strike at the puppet once more, with luck the burning trees would have helped lower the focus of Willow to allow Albas’ strike to land true.
The Flames around the Phoenix made his form look all the more dangerous as he drew in closer for Willow, when he was within three feet of the now large puppet Alba made his strike! The blade of his scythe ran through the air with great force headed for one place, the arm of puppet. Alba did not care which arm he hit because taking out one of them would by far give him the advantage in this battle.
Puppet Boy - February 6, 2007 10:31 PM (GMT)
Willow’s star disks simply bounced off the impressive armor, that was rumored to have been made by the goddess Ita, like a child’s bouncy ball. Willow had never seen such armor that deflected attacks itself. Was this armor stronger than mithril? I didn’t matter. Without magic the wooden creature was sure he had no weapon that could penetrate the armor. Only a precise shot of his blade would be able to slip into the cracks of Alba’s helmet, and to get that close to the chaotic fiend would be suicidal.
Alba laughed at Willow’s pathetic suriken. Willow’s eyes filled with tears. Should he run from Alba or sacrifice himself. His sins against the forest were not yet atoned. He still had much more to accomplish. He alone could ward evil away from nature. That is when Alba in a heartless move struck the trees around them with his chaotic blue fire. Willow could hear their dying souls calling out to him. To flee would be a sin against nature, Willow told himself firmly.
The ent like creature looked at the villain as he charged forth with his scythe in hand. Flames grew around him as he came closer and closer. Would Willow try to dodge again? Would he keep running around in circles as the phoenix destroyed the whole forest? No! He lifted his sword and readied himself. He kept his arms steady aiming for the narrow slit in the helmet. Only a well aimed attack would succeed, and even if it did it was likely that the puppet would still be hit by Alba’s attack.
Willow did not cower. He had already died once. How bad could a second death be? Forgive me, Liara, he prayed, I leave this world with my mission incomplete. “It is time to end this! I will not move! You must be stopped, you heartless feather-brained ball of fire!”
Willow felt the blade of the scythe slice through his left arm. He cried out in pain. In one second he felt an eternity go by. His arm fell off his body in a pain only second to that of death. With water swelling in his eyes he threw his sword forward hoping that his sacrifice would not pass in vain.
Alba Meria - February 6, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
The scythe of Alba drew in ever closer to the Puppet yet the Phoenix did not know exactly what was going to happen. Infact what did happen even came as a shock to Alba. His scythe ripped through the left arm of Willow and caused the puppet a great deal of pain. Of course the best thing for Alba by this attack was the fact that the scythe would have drained mana out of the body, if you could call it that, of Willow and given the mana to Alba thus restoring his supply. But the Phoenix could still not relax, sure he had severed the arm of Willow but he still had a strike heading right form him. The force of the attack Willow had sent at Alba had not hurt the Phoenix very much, but it had knocked the helm off of his head.
The only injury the Phoenix had obtained from the strike was a scratch along his right cheek. Feeling the blood trickle down his face Alba could do nothing more than laugh. He waved his left hand to his side making the flames around him die down, yet the trees around Willow and Alba were still up in flames but that did not exactly matter right now did it? Gaining control over his laughter the Phoenix then said to Willow, “Stupid fool. You really thought you would be enough to take me down? Well Willow I guess your time has now come to an end. Say goodbye little puppet boy!” After saying this Alba took three steps away from the Puppet spinning his scythe with pure skill within his hands.
It was time to make his killing blow, the attack that, if successful, would finally end the life and the suffering of the puppet. In the mind of Alba he was doing this fool a favour, while at the time filling his lust for a kill. The Puppet had been a good battle for the Phoenix, but he did not have the skills just yet to defeat Alba and now it was to late. Letting his laugher reach the air once more Alba pushed forward from the ground making a sweep through the air with his scythe. This time the attack was aimed right at Willows head in an attempt to knock the foul thing off of the puppets shoulders!
Puppet Boy - February 7, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
The force at which Alba’s helm collided with Willow’s blade knocked the injured warrior back. Pain was still shooting through his entire body. His severed arm lay lifeless some five feet away. It was an understatement to say that the puppet had seen better days.
The puppet turned his head dreading what he would see. His eyes fell upon a stump were his arm had once been. It was not bleeding blood like that of a normal living creature or even sap like he had in his first life. He was bleeding a blue stream of mana. It had become the life force that held him in this body, but now it fled his body in his time of need.
Willow ability to maintain the magical barrier failed. Alba and himself were now able to perform spells, but Willow was far to weak to summon the energy that it would take. His transformation was even beginning to fail. He slowly turned back into the puppet.
Willow looked up to see he had barely managed to lay a scratch on Alba. His hand tightened around his sword as the creature lurked forward spinning his scythe around as he laughed at Willow’s current state. Willow doubted he would be able to lift the blade, but holding onto it gave him a small calming feeling.
As Willow readied his mind for the final blow his black dragon landed on top of him encasing him in his claws. Willow was astonished to see the beast’s fearless loyalty to his master. He had told the beast to wait in the distance in case it was needed, but he would never have thought it would risk its life to save its master.
It let out a thunderous roar and spewed its toxin into the air before lifting into the air still clutching the puppet’s broken body. Willow would never forget this day, and he would forever seek Alba to repay him for his arm.
Alba Meria - February 7, 2007 02:10 AM (GMT)
The battle was now over and it had been a victory for the Chaos Phoenix. His scythe was drawing ever closer towards the form of Willow but before the Phoenix had been able to land his strike a large black dragon came down taking the puppet up into the air. Alba was not to bothered about this and instead began to laugh as Willow was dragged off into the air, then shouting out towards the pathetic puppet Alba said, “WEAKLING WILLOW. I WILL FIND YOU AGAIN, AND I WILL NOT HOLD BACK!!” Yes the worst thing was that Willow had been defeat by Alba when the Chaos Phoenix was holding most of his power back, he had not even been fighting at half power during that battle which seemed to bring a feeling of joy to Alba Meria.
Alba then let a whistle ring through the air and in doing so he called a beast of his own, his greater Cerberus. The large black furred Cerberus stepped out into the clearing where Alba was lowering itself so that the Phoenix was able to mount the beasts back. Of course before Alba had gotten on the back of his mighty beast he made sure to pick up the helm of his armour, along with his prize! The prize being the severed arm of the puppet, it would indeed be a good sign to display within the Brotherhood Tower. Yes a symbol that even one of the most powerful members of the Keepers was no match for the might of Alba, if the Phoenix had been able to take down the puppet so easy who knew what would happen if the Brotherhood were to attack the Keepers. That would be a fun day; the downfall of the Keepers and it would come soon enough. For now however Alba headed back towards the guild tower to show his victory to the other members!
