Title: If I could just have a day
Description: To get away... Wait, that's everyday!

Az apparently just doesn't know when to stop wandering, because that's all he can do around here in Arda, is keep wandering. So far, he's been in two temples, and know he's stumbled into some calm woods. He wondered how in the world he could have gotten here. Of course he was glad he finally found somwhere where he could finally be half demon, and not get into a fight or get shunned. He never had that need of fitting in, its just at times it was nice. If he could fit in, it'd be just great for him, if not, well, he can just keep wandering aye?
Walking through the woods, all he heard was the call of small chirping birds, the occasional scuffle of a squirrel of chipmunk, his quiet footsteps, and silence. Here was bliss for him. Clean air, silence, and time to himself. Not like he got plenty of it anyways...
Soon he began to hear the sound of trickling water, like in a brook, off to his right. He turned to it and saw a glint of water, and walked on over to it, and found a small brook. He smiled, finding himself in even more bliss. He stood at the band of the water, hands on his hips, his pure black eyes reflecting the glare of the sun on the trickling brook. Turning his head up stream, he found a little pool of water probably about 20 meters across, and at the far end was a waterfall. It branched off into three ways on the opposite side, which explains why this particular brook didn't get as much water as it should have.
He went up to the little pool, and the water looked so welcoming. It was a clear blue, and the sun hit it at the right angle so it glinted warmly. He sighed and took off his shirt, revealing a bare, built muscular upper torso. His boots came off too, then his pants. Under his pants were skin tight deer skin shorts, and they hugged his thighs. He made them himself, since he needed something to add a little more warmth to his legs, and deer skin did just that. He laid his clothes in a pile, and waded into the pool of water.
It was cool and refreshing as he swam under the surface. He was graceful in his strokes, swimming on over to the waterfall dropping into the pool. He came up under the waterfall, the water rushing onto his head, a soft roaring rushing into his ears from the water hitting the water. He treaded water under the waterfall, since the pool at its shallowest was 7 feet deep.
Next to him he noticed a big rock, being pounded on by the waterfall, the top of it flat from erosion. He flicked some dreadlocks out of his face and climned on top of the rock and settling onto it, laying on his back. He let the water just pound onto his chest, as it felt like a gentle massage to him. If anyone was to see him laying on that rock, it would probably look like he was dead...

It was then that good old Yoro came walking along, holding onto his stuff tightly. He then came to the side of the water, and, not noticing it, accidently dropped his stuff, minus his dagger, and fell in. He quickly swam to the top and shook the water from his hair, pointed ears picking up the sound of a waterfall hitting something.
The watery taste in his mouth was overpowering. He spit it out, and, smelling the many scents of all of the water, turned to see someone, who appeared dead. He looked familiar. Yoro ducked under the water, all but his nose, eyes, and ears, to watch to see if he'd move.

Az didn't really notice the splash of belongings from Yoro, and just kept laying there. Starting to feel numb on his chest, he sat upright, and shook off a little bit. Totally pointless, but he figured he might be able to un-numb a little bit of his chest. Didn't work...
Then Az stood up, and stood there for a moment, head to down, letting the water beat down on his upper back, in a meditative way. Soon enough though, he started bouncing on his toes, his hands up in a guard after that. Punches were then thrown, water flying out far from the air-shot blows. Being a pro at martial arts, and a hard-core fighter sometims, his hits were hard and quick. His demon agility helped out with the speed, so he was quite fast. Kicks were then mixed in, more water flying out from the kicks from the waterfall. Quick punches, hard kicks, it was a water show.
Suddenly he decided to flip out of the waterfall and into the water, and sink to the bottom, and stay there for a moment. It was his kind of training for his lungs, being out of breath and having to hold his breath for a while. He twisted around in the water, letting off wide roundhouse kicks. Though in the process, he caught a glimpse of Yoro floating up there, as it he was watching him or something. He grinned as he recognized him, and stopped, and just stayed there, keeping his black eyes on him, watching. His air supply was starting to run short though...

"Great, he's underwater, where I can't see him," thought Yoro. He was sure that he was being watched. Still, had he seen this person before? He took a good breath before diving below to see them. Then, he saw the man from before, who looked very familiar.
Then, it hit him. It was that guy from the destroyed temple, the one with the dagger. What was he doing here?

Az grinned and swam up and burst out of the water in front of him. He took a deep breath when he surfaced, and treaded water for a moment, taking another deep breath. He dove down again and dove to Yoro, and stayed in front of him, and gave him a playful punch on the shoulder in a friendly way. He grinned and swam back up, bursting out of the water again. He shook his dreadlocks free of a little water, and spat out some water and waited to see what Yoro would do.
Shadowblack - December 19, 2006 01:29 PM (GMT)
Yoro burst out of the water, then came towards Az with a punch, but quickly sideflipped in the water and dived under. "Surprise, surprise!" joked Yoro inside his head. Yoro knew what Az was trying to do, so he decided to play a little game. He quickly scooped up some air and dove back into the water below.

Az chuckled and dove under the water right behind him, dolphin kicking after Yoro, catching him incredibly fast. His demon speed helped with the kicking, and soon he grabbed onto Yoro's ankle and dragged him up to the surface. He threw him out of the water and yelled out, "How ya been man?!" He laughed watching him.

Yoro shook the water out of his hair. "Calm as cookies and milk," replied Yoro grinning. "By the way, will I have to shoot you with a Shadow Arrow?"
Yoro grinned, looking innocent. Yoro then combed his fingers through his hair. His grin then widened quite a bit, and started to chuckle.

Az laughed. "Calm as cookies and milk eh? Sweet!" He said sarcastically with a chuckle. He squinted his black eyes, and put on a mischeivous grin on his face. "Shoot me with a shadow arrow? I don't think you can, and you won't!" He said challengingly, in a joking way. He treaded water there, shaking a dreadlock out of his face, water dripping like a waterfall out of it. His dreadlocks held water...

Yoro took off his cloak, revealing Padded Leather. He then twisted the cloak and sqeezed the water out of it, and where? On Azlateen's head! "I know, it's because of the sugar!" grinned Yoro. He grabbed a Shadow Arrow and put it in the bow. "Believe me, I can shoot you...
Azlateen - December 21, 2006 02:13 AM (GMT)
He looked up, and sighed sarcastically, thinking its not like he was already wet. He grinned watching Yoro nock an arrow onto his bow. "Arrows can't go more that 12 inches underwater. Nothing can, even at high speeds." He said still grinning. He ducked under the water about two feet, just daring him to shoot.
Shadowblack - December 21, 2006 09:18 PM (GMT)
Yoro grinned, "I know something that can." He then stood up and set his stuff down. He then leapt into the water above Az, ready to come down on the surface of his body.
He knew from past experience that he would go far enough. He'd land, then sink. Maybe. Maybe not..
Azlateen - December 22, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
Well, projectiles can't at least... He thought to himself, releazing he left that out. He suddenly saw a silhouette fly over him, and come down right above him. The body entered the water, air bubble streaming out around the body, making it hard to tell what he was doing really. He just kinda, stayed there, not really knowing what to do if he could see or hear under the water. The thing he heard was *pow* of Yoro hitting the water, but that was it. Yoro came down and Az, and he felt it, even with the was impeding Yoro's blow. "Oof!" Az grunted under the water, his air being knocked out of him, air bubbles streaming out of his mouth and to the surface to never return back into Az's lungs.
Shadowblack - December 23, 2006 04:08 PM (GMT)
Yoro quickly noticed, and didn't expect this to happen. He then kicked Az's leg's down to make his head go up, then pushed his bow up under Az's arm, pressing up as Yoro paddled to the top of the water, trying to get to the surface. He wasn't that strong, but shoved on.
Azlateen - December 26, 2006 02:45 AM (GMT)
Az was still conscious, and could function properly without air for a certain time, and wondered slightly what Yoro was doing. When he figured it out after a split second, Az knew this kid could be something else. With knowing what he was doing, Az helped Yoro save him, butterfly kicking their way up, and actually pushing Yoro up...
