Title: Returning Home Once More
Description: [P] Kitsu - Chan [P]
Zenith Meria - December 15, 2006 10:25 PM (GMT)
The Sanctuary of the Angels, one of the most holy places within Arda, the sky clear and the sun beating down onto the streets of the sanctuary. Many angels were walking the streets taking in the rays from the sun on this peacefull day. A small group of about six angels were stood together near a large tree talking about someone who was meant to be returning to the city this day. One of the last members of the Meria family, the member that had left the Sanctuary of the Angels years ago and had now been trained by both the Goddess of Life, and her Gaurdian of Holiness.
Although it was not known why Zenith was coming back to this homeland where his parents had been slain all those years ago. Yes Zenith Meria now had trouble trusting people, but he knew deep within him that it is better not to judge those on their past but rather on the present life they lead. The angel had left Keepers Peak early in the morning, taking him time on his flight to the sanctuary. The angel was wearing his usual full set of Golden Resplendent armour, including the cloak. The weapons he had upon him were his Holy Blade and his Blade of Balance, which both lay upon his back covered up by his Resplendent Tower. Laying at his left hand side was the angels holstered Resplendent Countering Longsword. And the other weapon he had was strapped to his left leg, it was a dagger made from one of the fallen teeth of Ita, the Goddess of Chaos.
The angels Anima, known as Heru, had followed the angel this day. Soon the pair arrived at the homeland of the angels and began to head towards the ground at a dive. Zenith Meria then gently landed on the groud looking around at the other angels around him. Soon Heru flew down with him and landed on the shoulder of the angel as well. Now with both of them in the Sanctuary of the Angels Zenith Meria was home. The young angel let out a small sigh as he rested his hand upon the hilt of Redemption, his Resplendent Countering Longword, and began to walk further into the city. The angel was home and it was time to see if these people would remember him after all these years.
((OOC: Sorry for really bad post x_x))
Kitsu-Chan - December 16, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
"Kyaa!" Kitsu said forgetting the number of people walking around and staring at her because of the sudden noise "wow, this place is huge," she muttered paying no attention "am I the only person without a set of wings in this place, whatever they’re for anyway."
She'd only actually met one angel since coming here and he was a fallen one and didn't exactly provide allot of detail about his race. Kitsu was now staring at large amounts of angels at a time walking around and chatting as though they were the most normal thing on the planet.
"Weird," she muttered "I never thought this place would be that much different, wonder if they still speak the same here."
She wandered about staring at the surroundings that caught her eye the most, she stopped once she'd walked to the middle of the sanctuary and looked up at the statue of an angel towering above her, it was slightly intimidating.
This place gives me the creeps,
Kitsu looked about spying the ghostly form of her alter ego standing beside her with folded arms, she looked exactly like her but for the purple hair, red eyes and moody expression. Aside from Kitsu nobody could actually see her and even went to the point of walking through her.
"You're only saying that because you're evil," Kitsu said out loud not caring that there were any people around.
He darker half looked over at her with a scowl, Kitsu however continued to smile at her.
Of all the people in the world why did I have to get paired with an obnoxious kid?
The image faded from Kitsu's sight and she sighed slightly and went back to gazing at the statue above her, she noticed something else too, an angel different from the rest had arrived, wearing golden armour topped off with at least 3 swords and a bird, Kitsu stared at him for a second before turning her attention away.
Can this place get any stranger? She thought.
Zenith Meria - December 16, 2006 02:33 PM (GMT)
Zenith Meria let out a small sigh as he raised his hands up to the helm of his armour, slowly the angel then began to remove his helm. One the Resplendent Helm was fully removed the angel placed it within a travel pack that lat on his side. His long brown hair now free to gently run down his back. The angel looked around from the place he stood trying to see if he remembered anyone walking around, or more worried a little at those that might remember him.
It was when Zenith turned round that he seen a young woman with cat like ears standing, she was seemingly talking to herself and the angel thought this a little strange. Yet there might have been a reason to why she was doing so thus the angel did not take it fully to heart. With the Anima still resting upon the shoulder of Zenith the nineteen year old angel began to walk towards the woman. He had never seen anyone of her race before, and was interested to find out, although it would be rude to suddently spring many questions onto her.
With that thought in mind Zenith soon found himself standing before the young woman, he then said in a calm and very soft voice, "Hello Miss. Welcome to the Sanctuary of the Angels. Please dont be insulted when I say you seem a little lost. I was wondering if there was anything I may do to help you?" Zenith awaited on the replt from the woman, he blue eyes locked onto her in a friendly gaze. The angel had always been known for his kindness as well as his skills in battle, but out of the two of these things Zenith seen Kindness towards other far more important. It was the way of not only most angels, but all the memebers of the Keepers of the Sacred Deed.
Kitsu-Chan - December 16, 2006 02:56 PM (GMT)
Kitsu turn her attention back to the statue in front of her, not wishing to appear nosey, and stared at it without really taking in much detail. It must have taken ages to make too, and it looked like somebody extremely important, if she could find a library she might find out a little about this country. She was a little preoccupied and didn't actually notice the angel she'd spotted before coming in her direction, until he was right beside her. Kitsu blinked and turned to look in his direction, his appearance was that of a holy person but Kitsu couldn't help feeling intimidated by him, even without his helm on.
"Hello Miss. Welcome to the Sanctuary of the Angels." He said in a calm ad friendly voice, Kitsu's confidence grew a little seeing as he wasn't trying to scare her "Please don’t be insulted when I say you seem a little lost. I was wondering if there was anything I may do to help you?"
Kitsu gave a weak smile and shook her head.
"No, I'm not lost," she explained "just looking around, I don't know this place very well so I'm trying to see as much as possible."
She looked away and bit her tongue, the angels appearance made her feel a little guilty of why she was here in the first place. He looked allot different from the first angel she'd met, a small boy with black wings and silver and black hair, this one was allot taller, older looking and had larger white wings, blue eyes, and shining golden armour, she could barely look at him without her conscience going off again.
Heh, you see one angel and you immediatly fall apart. Kitsu's darker half had reappeared in her vision standing just behind her.
Kitsu didn't speak in case the angel was watching her still.
Hm, suite yourself. Her dark half vanished again and Kitsu managed to look back up at the angel.
Zenith Meria - December 16, 2006 03:22 PM (GMT)
The young woman had soon answered Zenith with the words, "No, I'm not lost, just looking around, I don't know this place very well so I'm trying to see as much as possible." Zenith nodded after the woman had said this to him, a smile across his lips. Thats when he seen the woman look away from, unsure of what he done wrong the angel then said, "Miss are you ok? I did not mean to offend in any way. Please accepted my appology. My mame is Zenith Meria, Arch Angel of Light, and third member of the Keepers of the Sacred Deed." Soon the young cat like woman had turned back to Zenith, who still had his usualy gracefull smile spread along his lips.
Zenith then looked towards the statue the woman had been looking at before returning his view towards her. In truth even Zenith knew very little about this land, and it was his birthplace. The only reason he knew so little was of course because when Zenith was of a very young age his family had all been slain, all except Zenith and his older brother and sister. The worst thing about that night had been when Zenith found it that it was infact his older brother, Alba Meria, that had slain the other members of the Meria family that night and also burned their manor to the ground sparing only the life of his siblings.
From that day forth Zenith had been staying in different places all over Arda trying his best not to return to his birthplace, but today was only the third time in almost eight years that the angel had been home. Suddently the angel was broken from his thoughts as Heru, his Anima that rested on his shoulder, began to nibble the angels right ear. Letting out a small laugh the angel then said to the young woman, "Oh yes! And this would be my Anima, he goes by the name of Heru." After Zenith said this the Anima looked towards the woman and lowered its head a little in a sign of welcome.
The young Arch Angel then went onto say, "Miss, I would be more than welcome to help in any way that I can if you would like to learn about angels. Because in truth, I would be most gratefull to learn what I can of your own race as well." The angel then looked down a little biting his lip at what he had said, it might have been the wrong choice of words and with luck the cat like woman before him would not be offend.
Kitsu-Chan - December 16, 2006 03:40 PM (GMT)
"Miss are you? I did not mean to offend in any way. Please accept my apology. My name is Zenith Meria, Arch Angel of Light, and third member of the Keepers of the Sacred Deed."
This sentence caught Kitsu's attention, she looked up directly at Zenith with a look of curiosity in her eye, his name sounded exactly like the word Zenith, which from where she came from meant peak or maximum, so he must somehow possess allot of magical abilities, and as far as she knew she didn't have any.
While she was lost in her own thoughts the angel looked a little lost in his own so Kitsu didn't disturb him for the moment, she looked around distractedly at the people about her. A few of them spared her the odd curios glance at her ears or even her tail, she immediatly curled it up behind her in an attempt to make it less visible but there wasn't allot she could do about the ears poking out of her hair. The fact that so many people of a race she'd never even seen before were in the same place all at once was making her a little nervous, although one of them might feel the same way if there were ever at her home land, not that there was much of it.
"Oh yes! And this would be my Anima; he goes by the name of Heru." Zenith said.
"Que?" Kitsu blinked and looked back over at Zenith who had evidently emerged from his memories "oh."
She glanced at the bird on his shoulder, it was another creature that was completely new to her, it also had a pair of wings but they looked like they were in the place of arms.
Weird, how does it hold onto things? She thought.
"Miss, I would be more than welcome to help in any way that I can if you would like to learn about angels. Because in truth, I would be most grateful to learn what I can of your own race as well." Zenith said looked a little reluctant about his request.
Kitsu forced another smile onto her face briefly but couldn't hold it for very long.
"S'okay," she said "I don't know allot about angels, or anything with wings actually so I don't really mind. Oh yeah and my name's Kitsu."
Zenith Meria - December 17, 2006 03:14 PM (GMT)
Lucky for Zenith the woman before him had taken what he had said in the right way as she replied with, "I don't know allot about angels, or anything with wings actually so I don't really mind. Oh yeah and my name's Kitsu." Zenith then nodded towards Kitsu before he said to her, "Well then, It is very nice to meet you Kitsu!" The angels voice still in its usual soft and calm tone. Zenith then looked to his left and right to see more angels passing, lucky for him none had known who Zenith was, or for that matter anything of his past.
His eyes then fixed once more onto Kitsu and Zenith showed a smile across his lips. It was always nice to meet those of a different race, and through his training the angel had learned never to judge someone on the first apearance. One of his best friends after all was a half demon, as was the woman the angel was in love with. Just because someone had some evil within them did not mean they were not on the side of light.
Zenith did not know exactly what to say to Kitsu, and after a moments thought the angel said, "What kind of things happen in the homeland of your race? I know that may sound like a strange question to ask, but what I mean is like here in the angels home there is very little fighting, and most will get along. The only beings most wont welcome in this land are Fallen Angels, those who have fallen from grace!" The angel then straightened up a little, if there was one race he would never become friends with that was it, the Fallen Angels. He did not know exactly why, but Zenith could not stand to be around that kind of Angel, it made him sick. Then again the only two that the angel had made where Tilorn and Aaris.
Tilorn had tried to kill Zenith upon meeting him, while Aaris on the other hand attempted an Assassination on the Anima Heru that rested on the shoulder of Zenith. Lucky both times the angel had been able to stop them. The angel then placed his right hand out infront of his remembering what Kitsu had said before, she had not really seen anything before with wings? With his arm out the Anima landed on the arm of Zenith and looked towards Kitsu, its wings held tight into its body, its purple feathers looked amazing, but the true beauty of this bird was when its wings were spread out as the tips of the wings had the colours of the rainbow. Thats when Zenith said, "Did I hear you right before? You have not seen many things with wings as of yet in Arda?"
Kitsu-Chan - December 17, 2006 04:05 PM (GMT)
"Well then, it is very nice to meet you Kitsu!" Zenith replied.
Kitsu gave another weak smile, the angel's appearance might be intimidating but his voice was far from intimidating, it reminded her of her most peaceful dream; where she seemed to be standing in a field of clouds with a warm aura surrounding her body. She sighed softly at the thought and her eyes glazed over slightly remembering the feeling every time she had that dream, and she hated waking up from it.
"What kind of things happen in the homeland of your race? I know that may sound like a strange question to ask," Zenith asked half taking Kitsu out of her slight trance "but what I mean is like here in the angels home there is very little fighting, and most will get along. The only beings most wont welcome in this land are Fallen Angels, those who have fallen from grace!"
Kitsu blinked and came back into full reality gazing up at Zenith, her face fell slightly.
"Well that's just it," she said "nothing happened, it was boring. People were born, lived and died and nothing ever happened. That's partly the reason why I left."
She looked away from Zenith feeling a pang of guilt at the rest of the reason; she didn't like feeling guilty, especially when it meant something like keeping almost everything about her life at home a secret.
"Did I hear you right before?" Zenith asked.
Kitsu blinked and suddenly remembered he was there, she forced herself to look back up at him and noticed his Anima had flown down onto his arm. She smiled as she looked at it.
I sure hope all winged creatures as beautiful as that, she thought softly.
"You have not seen many things with wings as of yet in Arda?" Zenith finished.
Kitsu looked up at him and shook her head.
"No, I haven't," she said "there wasn't anything with wings at my home, I don't know why so there all new to me, including angels."
