((OOC: Ok one main rule here, only post once between my posts please so we dont get lost!))
Sitting at the top of the Sacred Mountain of the Keepers of the Sacred Deed know as Keepers Peak, within the Ered Annon Mountain range, was a young angel of only nineteen years old. This angel was Zenith Meria, an Arch Angel of Life that had done so much within his short life already. At a young age the most part of Zeniths family had been slain and then burned, the memory of that night still haunting the young angel. Of the worst part of that night had been when Zenith found out who the person that killed his family was. The reason this hurt so much was because it had been the angels older brother Alba Meria that had killed his family, the only people living through the night being Zenith, Alba and Albas twin sister Rinoa. From that day forth the angel had set out on revenge against his older brother thinking his sister was also dead, at the age of fifteen Zenith had been finish his training from his master, Nazzari, who had trained the angel some basic spells and also trained Zenith in the art of swordplay. Now Zenith Meria had become a master with swords and held two of the most powerfull blades any mortal could hold within his grasp.
While still in deep thought upon Keepers Peak the young angel once again began to think back to his past, but not of the night Alba had killed his parents. Not to long ago Zenith had found out his sister Rinoa was still alive, he had met her at the site within the Sanctuary of the Angels where the Meria household once stood. It seemed like Rinoa had come back to see the place where she once lived and in turn met her little brother once. This was one of the only happy memories Zenith now held of his family. Of course it was shattered only a two weeks ago when Zenith and his best friend within the Keepers, Sraxen, had been on the hunt to stop of group known as the Brotherhood of Hruka. While on the hunt to stop this evil group Zenith had to battle his older brother Alba once more, the only thing is that day would be the last time Zenith would ever see his older brother. Yes Zenith Meria had killed his brother that day, he loved his older brother even with all that he had done to Zenith over the years, but Alba had to be killed that day! It was the only way to free Arda from Alba and his chaotic grip.
The Keepers was soon broken from his thoughts when the Scrying Mirror ontop of Keepers Peak became active once more. The vision it was showing to the young Keeper was of four powerfull looking demons breaking free from the Underworld. But that was not the worst thing, the worst thing was that these demons were heading towards both Lómëdor and Estolad. The angel had to get ready fast in order to stop these demons, it would be hard work but someone had to do it. Quickly the angel left Keepers peak and thundered down the long winding stairs towards his room within the Sacred Mountain. Once getting into the room Zenith began to place on his armour as his Anima looked on towards him. Zenith quickly placed his Golden Resplendent Armour on, once all his armour except the helm was on Zenith began to place his weapons upon his body. First Zenith placed his Holy Blade known as Salvation, and his Blade of Balance known as Judgement into the holsters he had upon his back. Then to protect his back and the blade Zenith placed his Resplendent Tower onto his back. It was placed in such a way that Zenith would still be able to get easy access to his blades.
The next weapon Zenith placed was his Resplendent Countering Longsword known as Redemption which was now placed on the left side of the angels waist. The only other weapon the angel placed onto himself was his Spineslicer which was a dagger made from one of the fallen teeth of Ita, the Goddess of Chaos. This dagger got strapped to Zeniths left leg, the angel was almost ready to go into battle. All he had left to do was place his helm and cloak on. Picking up his Resplendent Cloak Zenith lightly placed it over his shoulder and strapped it in place at the neck. The last thing was the angels helm and once he had placed it over his head, after of course moving his long brown hair, the entire Resplendent set began to merge into one piece of armour with no gaps it in what so ever. The armour kept Zeniths body heat at the right level at all times, while it also helped Zenith deal more damage with holy type magic.
Now fully ready for the battle ahead Zenith looked towards his Anima that was resting next to a large birdcage, quickly the angel said to the Anima, "Heru, come on! We have a job to do my friend, I will need the help of you and Telsor in this one. I have no idea where the other Keepers are and I have no time to go looking for them!" The Anima nodded its head towards Zenith before flying up and landing on the shoulder of the angel. Zenith tucked his large angelic wings into his back and then headed out of the room. With haste the angel and the Anima headed down to the entrance of the Sacred Mountain where Zenith seen both his Greater Cerberus, Arc, and his Adult Plasma Dragon, Telsor, resting. Sadly Arc would not be able to come along on this mission as the angel was in a great hurry to try and catch up with these four demons and stop them. Getting onto the back of Telsor softly the angel said to the dragon, "Telsor, We have work to do. Let us fly to the Salquedor Grasslands. That is where the Demons will split up to attack Lómëdor and Estolad!" The dragon hearing these words let out a great roar before walking over to the entrance of the cave. Stepping outside Heru took off into the air ahead of both Zenith and Telsor but the Anima was soon followed by the large dragon as it beat its wings into the air and took flight towards the Salquedor Grasslands.
Zenith looked over the form of his dragon as they passed over the lands of Arda, it was indead a beautiful world, but the darkness within this world was growing and Zenith knew he had to do all within his power to stop the darkness from getting stronger. As both a Keeper of the Sacred Deed and a Divine Protector of the Goddess of Life Lothlómendil Zeniths job was to save those in Arda and help the light within people grow. The more he did this the more Ardas light would be able to fight against the darkness. Zenith knew deep within him that he was no match for the God of Darkness Raku, or the Goddess of Chaos Ita, but the Arch Angel of Life would do everything he could do stop their plans of Chaos and Destruction within Arda. Not only had he trained many years with Nazzari learning the art of swordplay, but the Gaurdian of Holiness and Zeniths guildmaster had taught the angel many spells for him to use in his battles. Now as both a powerfull Paladin and Mage Zenith was ready for any battle placed infront of him.
Zenith, Telsor and Heru could seen the the shadow layouts of the four demons ahead. They were now at the Salquedor Grasslands and Zenith knew the fight ahead would be one he would have to be ready for. Anything could happen in this battle, Zenith had no idea the of the power these demons held within them, for all the angel knew these four demons could be more than he could take. Sure the Keeper was powerfull but he was far from invincible. The young angel motioned for his dragon to land so that they could get ready for the battle ahead of them. Telsor did as Zenith wished lowering to the ground, the dragon landed smoothly on the grasslands and Zenith jumped from his back. Heru then began to dive down from the sky above before straightening out and landing once again onto the shoulder of the Keeper. Now all that was left was to wait for the four demons to draw closer for the battle to begin.
Soon the Arch Angel of Life seen the forms of the four demons getting closer to him, their features becoming clearer and clearer by the second. The angel then drew Salvation, the Holy Blade, and Judgement, the Blade of Balance, into his hands. His grip becoming tight around the hilt of each blade. Soon the two blades began to glow a light blue in colour as Zenith cast his Bless Weapon spell upon them, after alot of training the angel had not mastered how to cast a spell without both words or actions. This was always helpfull within a battle since the angel only had to think of the spell he wanted to cast in order to cast it battle. Telsor let out another great roar as he looked onto the demons, it seemed even the dragon was ready for the battle that was ahead of them all.
One of the demons that were coming towards Zenith was made from nothing more than a black mist, it seemed that one would be the most difficult to attack in this upcoming battle. The other three demons on the other hand all seemed to look somewhat alike. One was red, one a deep purple and the last one a dark blue in colour. These three demons all had large demonic wings and dragon like tails. All four of these demons seemed to hold amazing power within them and the one made of Black Mist seemed to be the leader of the others. Zenith knew now his work was cut out for him, he may be able to take the dragon like demons but how would he be able to attack the mist demon if his swords would just pass through it.
It was now time for the battle to begin and the demons now had their eyes, or rather glowing orbs, locked onto the angel. The only thing the angel could hope for is that someone else had seen that the demons were on their way, if not then Zenith would be alone in this battle with only Telsor and Heru to aid him. The angels grip tightened around his blades, the glow around them becoming brighter and brighter. The time was now! Zenith then let out a small sigh before running into battle, as he ran Heru took to the air and also headed for the demons while Telsor held his ground waiting on his Masters call before he would attack.
As Zenith drew near the demons the four of them split up in differenct directions, this battle was already not going right. Turning quickly to face the large purple coloured dragon demon the angel drew ever closer. Once close enough Zenith raised his blades through the air and ripped into the skin of the demon, its black blood spurting everywhere from its body. Instead of letting out a yell of pain however the demon just smirked to Zenith and hit the front of the angels armour with its large claw, this attack sending the angel flying back and smashing into the ground with great force. If it wasnt for the angels Resplendent Armour he would never have been able to take such an attack, the force was amazingly powerfull from that one demon alone. How was Zenith going to be able to fight against all four at the same time? It was then that Zenith knew for sure his life was on the line within this war.
Slowly getting back to his feet the angel looked towards the demon that had hit him back, he didnt look all to powerfull as he was the smallest of the four but that one attack he had hit Zenith with was very powerfull indead. Trying to get his breath back Zenith looked down to his blades, his spell was still in effect so that was good atleast. Thinking of a new plan for this battle Zenith then called out, "Heru! Holy NOW!" The Anima then flew down from the sky above growing in size as it drew closer to the purple dragon demon, the Anima then sent out a blast of the spell holy. Zenith looked on as the blasts made contact with the torso of the demon, this time it did scream out with pain as the holy energy cut through its body like a razor. The demons torso was ripped up even more and the blood pouring from its wounds was becoming somewhat of a problem for it.
It was only then that Zenith remembered about the other Demons, although this thought came back to him much to late. Zenith was met in his side by a large mace that the red dragon demon had in its grasp, as the angel was moving along the air from the impact the dark blue dragon demon grapped the angel out of the air and smashed his body hard into the ground below. Zenith was in alot of pain and Telsor was no longer just waiting, the dragon had taken to the sky and was heading towards the demons that were attacking the angel. The black mist demon on the other hand just seemed to stand and watch as his underlings caused major damage upon the body of Zenith Meria.
Trying to get back to his feet the fallen Zenith looked to his right to see the dark blue dragon demon about to kicked him in the guy. Lucky for the angel he had seen this as he was then able to use Teleport to get out of the of the attack sent to him. Zenith was now on his feet again but the pain was running through his body like never before in his life. These demons were so powerfull and Zenith did know how. Thats when he seen the form of Telsor pass over his head heading for the demons. Lowering his head the dragon let out a large blasts of magma tolds the red and blue dragon demonic beings. The magma burned both demons but the same thing happened then that had happened when Zenith attacked with his blades, the demons just let out a twisted laugh towards the angel. Even though their bodies looked badly damaged the demons did not appear to be effected by the pain running within their body. Something strange was happening and Zenith wanted to know what it was.
Looking to the three dragon like demons then back to the black mist demon Zenith was still puzzled, he had to defeat these demons to help protect Arda but their power was beyond any mortal Zenith had ever faced. Trying to summon alot of energy within him Zenith tightened his grip further around the hilts of Salvation and Judgement, It was now time to fight to the best of his ability with these demons. The glow around the blades began to glow brighter, his Bless Weapon was acting at full power. Zenith then said out towards Demons, "May Salvation and Judgement be the ones to pick what fate you demons shall have!" With these passing the lips of the angel Zenith set off at a run towards the red demon. Suddently the angel teleported once more appearing near the demons back. Both blades that Zenith held run into the demons back deeply and this time the demon did scream in pain as the holy energy from Salvation ripped through its body. Still Zenith had not done enough to kill the demon though as once again it quickly turned round, this time the tail smashing into Zenith and throwing him back.
This time the angel landed on his feet after being pushed back by the demon, he could feel the pain within his body increasing but tried to live with it. It was then that something happened that Zenith really didnt want to see. The three demons he had been fighting all stood next to each, their wounds now fully healed. Of course it didnt end there. The three dragon demons all began to glow and soon began to merge into once being. As the light caused by their bodies merging began to glow brighter Zenith heard a dark voice voice, "If you were not able to battle all three of us at once then we shall even things up! You shall battle us merged as one, see you if you are able to stand against out power now angel. For now you face, Kazzaki the dragon lord!" With these dark words spoken the light faded out and Zenith seen the new form now known as Kazzaki standing before him.
Kazzaki was indead a dragon lord, he had to be atleast twenty five feet in height with a huge wingspan, the demon had large black horn ripping from his skull as eyes that looked as though they would tear the soul out of even the most evil beings body. The demons arms were large and powerfull looking much like his legs, and in place of toe nails and finger nails this dragonic demon lord had large talons. Zenith would going to have his work cut out in this battle and he had no idea what so ever how he was going to defeat this being. But then in usual fashion even more bad news befell the young angel as the black mist demon finally spoke, "Well well well, we all come back to Arda and only one little angel wants to battle us? Hmm looks like I wont even need to get my hands dirty! I hope you have fun in your battle against my little pet Kazzaki here. Farewell!" After these words escaped the mist demons lips in a harsh and vry dark tone the Demon then vanished from site. He had left the battle and left Zenith to face Kazzaki, the only thing was where had the mist demon went? If he had went to Estolad or Lómëdor then Zenith would to try and hurry to kill Kazzaki or the people of Estolad and Lómëdor would be in great danger! The second battle was about to begin and Zenith was not sure if he had the power to take down Kazzaki, let alone his master who as of yet was still nameless to the angel.
Now was the time for action! Now was the time to show Arda and all its people the true power of Holiness. Zenith Meria would not give up and he would continue to battle against Kazzaki until he managed to kill the beast. Sure it would take all he had, but Zeniths job was to protect those in Arda from darkness, and he was going to keep doing that job even if in the end it cost him his life. Zenith would never give up!
Kazzaki the dragon lord...that name and visage was remembered well by the boy currently known as Lance, standing atop a large hill a fair distance from the battle and gazing down at the current situation with his single red, left eye. That mist-like demon he didn't recognize...obviously some type of shadow demon, which tended to be more powerful. Of course, he knew that well enough...it was exactly what he was.
This took him back to his days in the Underworld, when he'd been at the top of the proverbial demonic chain. Kazzaki had given him quite a fight; it might've been a wonder why he wasn't at the top as well if not for the fact that he was actually three separate demons. But if Kazzaki was following this shadow demon...well, that was probably simply because a demon such as this one would be difficult to harm given its misty form.
Quite done reminiscing, and no longer caring about what the consequences to his mind might be were he to take his true form now, he drew his katana in his left hand, allowing his form to steadily shift and change to the point where he looked similar to one of the three dragon-like demons, only jet-black with a single, solid red left eye, his right gone even in this form, perhaps because it had been destroyed by a demon he'd once been able to call his 'brother'.
His form now back to what it had last been over twenty years ago, he thrust himself into the air with a strong beat of his wings, flying over to the scene and firing a ball of shadows at Kazzaki from his right hand before landing near the angel. Of course, the attack had little effect, but the dragon lord smirked evilly in recognition of the new opponent on the scene.
"Well, if it isn't the traitor Drake, who let an angel run free. You're nothing compared to what you were back then, I can tell just by looking at you. The only fate that awaits those like you that allow themselves to get weak is destruction!" Kazzaki taunted, though Drake, as he'd willingly be called in this form, simply glared slightly, the picture of calmness as always...one of the reasons he'd been so feared in the Underworld. Absolutely nothing ever seemed to faze him.
Umbra streached out on the paw of a Greater Cerberus, her eyes closed in a deep sleep as she rolled over pulling her cloak over her shoulder. The Cerberus also was asleep, well two heads were. The third kept a constant watch as a raven flew overhead and landed on a branch in the Taurai woods. The trio had decided to take an afternoon nap after a very peacefull day. The day started off with a visit to her mothers grave, a task that had long been ignored. Afterwards they did a small training session in Lomedor and finally went for a ride through the woods. The sun sifted through the trees as Umbra dreamed peacefully of a ride through the trees with friends. Suddenly the cerberus lifted all three heads rousing Umbra. "Hrm? What is it Rumasak?" she asked as he began to growl. She could not understand why he was going off. She knelt down and took in a deep breath and placed her hand on the ground and closed her eyes as she began to scry.
She went at high speed in the direction of the Cerberus' growling. She watched as animals were scattering. Whatever had Rumasak and Arella upset was causing an uproar her as well. She continued to the edge of the wood and beyond into Sequedlor. She saw someone, a demon, on a hill. And three other figures, demons as well, fighting someone. She continued to watch as an Anima appeared and attacked with a Holy spell. The figure teleported around so it was difficult to see who it was. The three demons soon fused and she broke the connection.
She turned and grabbed her halberd. "Arella, Rumasak, we have a problem. Lets go!" she said as she climbed on Rumasak and he took off, Arella the raven flying overhead. "Arella keep an eye on the sky, we must know what is happening." she said and the raven flew upwards through the canopy of the trees and followed from the air. The Cerberus ran quickly as she held on watching for whatever they would face. She did not see the final form of the fusion so when she felt the tremors from the attacks she knew it would be big. As they finally exited the woods she soon saw who was the teleporting person. Zenith? Well...Demon on the loose mind as well find a Keeper here. No doubt the others will be here soon but hey, I am not going to leave him hanging...At least untill the other Keepers show up. she thought.
She did not hide her surprise and fear when she saw how large the demon was, her eyes growing wide and a gasp of horror struck her as she saw. She quickly went into battle mode and held her halberd at the ready. The Cerberus lept up and landed near Zenith. She looked down, weapon in hand. "Need a hand?" she asked with a smile. She thought of when she fought the Vampire lord with Shadow, Karas and Malisaro. Well, it may not be the same but...They both are as big as they are ugly. she thought.
