Title: Grassy Spirit: Yoro in Salquedor

Shadowblack - December 7, 2006 03:53 AM (GMT)
After Yoro's extended trip, Yoro had finally arrived here. "I guess I should set up a tent and get some rest," said Yoro, sighing. Yoro managed to get all of the linkings and the covering.

"This will take forever to put up," he mumbled, groggy and irritated. "Arggh... Oof..." He continued to struggle. "I think I got it!" he cheered, placing the final linking into the hole, then hitting it in with his bow. "Time to look inside," he said, climbing in.

Nothing was there... "Well, I can cover up in this cloak to stay warm enough," he said, taking the cloak off his body. "That's better," he said, laying down. "Ow, the ground's painful," he complained. Yoro sighed. "Oh well..." He rolled on his side, finding it much more comforting.

He began to nod off, remembering the incredibly tough events that occured today at the Temple of Life, and the good things, such as meeting Lance... "Quite a day..."

Kitsu had managed to find her way out of the woods after a long time of walking about, but despite that she was still lost. But even if she did get anywhere it wouldn't do her much good anyway, but anywhere was better than miles, upon miles of empty, grassy, plains. She moaned at the thought wishing she'd stolen a horse or something, but they could be tracked easily and she couldn't.

She wandered about looking around for any signs of a village or a town but non sprung up anywhere, from what she knew these plains covered the most of this country and she found this extremely irritating. She almost gave up and resigned herself to starving to death there and then but one of her ears pricked up and turned about, she looked round and noticed some movement in the distance the she could barely see; both her ears turned in the direction of the noise, it sounded like somebody hammering something into the ground.

She scratched the back of her head wondering why somebody would be doing that, well only having one option to find out she wandered over to where it was coming from. It took her a while to walk over there but when she did all she saw was a big triangular shaped thing looking like it was made from some kind of fabric or cloth.
"*Que?" She muttered in curiosity.
She bent down looking at the pegs stuck in the ground attached to some kind of rope; evidently this was why the person was hammering something into the ground.

She got back up onto her feet and looked about but there wasn't a sign of anybody around, she looked about and scratched her head again, they couldn't have got that far surely.

*Basically means huh?

Only a few moments later, he awoke suddenly. Had he slept in? He wasn't sure of the time. Yoro rose to his feet and limped outside the tent, then noticed Kitsu. He mumbled, "Hello.."

Yoro noticed her ears. Funny, her ears weren't completely normal. Like his pointed ears.

Kitsu-Chan - December 12, 2006 04:54 PM (GMT)
Kitsu continued to stare at the thing, it was weird and rather pointless in her opinion, as though somebody had draped a cloth over a pole and expected it to look like a house, when she looked a little harder she saw what looked like a door at one end. Did somebody actually live in this thing? A good storm and it would blow away. She was thinking about taking a look inside when the door opened and a person peeked out, Kitsu saw a pair of pointed ears on his head and apparently he noticed hers because he looked directly at them.

"Hello.."
"Er, hi," Kitsu replied shortly "er, wait you live in that." She indicated the tent "bit cramped isn't it?"

"I don't live in it," said Yoro calmly. "I just stayed there at night so I don't get attacked by any strange creatures, or get soaked when I'm sleeping. And no, it's not cramped at all. It's built for 4." Yoro noticed his bowstring becoming a little loose, and quickly tightened it.

"I don't live in it," the stranger replied.
Kitsu blinked in confusion and looked back up at the fragile object, it was more or less house shaped despite not bieng able to fit the requirements of a house, so that was probably why.
"I just stayed there at night so I don't get attacked by any strange creatures, or get soaked when I'm sleeping. And no, it's not cramped at all. It's built for 4."
"Oh, right." Kitsu replied "my bad."

Protection from creatures and the weather? That thing couldn't protect someone from a pebble bieng tossed let alone a wild animal, this place is wierd.

"Well, it actually can't fend off or hold up from an animal attack," said Yoro, noticing his mistake. "Actually, they wouldn't want to attack it.."

Yoro gripped the tent. "I'm Yoro," he introduced. A cold breeze swept by. Yoro quickly lifted his cloak and slipped it on. "It's getting a bit chilly," he noted.

"Well, it actually can't fend off or hold up from an animal attack," the stranger replied, completely unaware of the irony of his statement. "Actually, they wouldn't want to attack it.." He finished.
"A piece of cloth, draped over a pole, standing out like a sore thumb in an otherwise deserted grass thingimy, whatver you call it?" Kitsu said "oh yeah, nobodies ever going to thing there's something worth having in there." She said sarcastically.

"I'm Yoro," the stranger said introducing himself.
"Kitsu-chan," Kitsu replied without looking but staring in confusion at the tent.
"It's getting a bit chilly," Yoro pointed out as a breeze swept by.
Kitsu shrugged with a slight Hm, as thought she didn't care. She wasn't actually listening but was trying to work out what advantages that thing would actually have apart from shelter from a light downpour.

"Erm, yeah..." said Yoro. He didn't find this Kitsune too polite. "I was on my way to Lómëdor for something," he added. "So, okay, bye," he said, packing up the tent and beginning to leave for Lómëdor.

"Finally, away from her," he sighed in relief. Yoro left on the road to Lómëdor.
