A cold breeze flew in from the north as a small blue creature floated across the ground. It was still dark with clouds as the wind blew harder, the small sprite smiled as the wind chilled it. The small Undine was happy that the winter season had finally arrived. It could tell easily that the season may have just started but winter was here. It looked below as it emerged from the Grasslands and found the farming feilds bare. Harvest was last month and scarecrows dotted the feilds. She saw the farms and feilds as she entered Estolad. She felt the chill as the wind became colder making the weather even more icy then it was earlier.

Suddenly the familiar smell was in the air. "Ahh...The sweet smell of snow! I wonder how long it will take for it..." it began but suddenly small white flakes fell from the dark sky. It perked up and smiled. "Ahhh... A decent snowfall." she said cheerfully spinning as the snow fell delicately. In no time at all the sun was rising on a white village of Estolad. The small blue orb flew over houses as the snow continued to fall. It flew down and landed on a roof, the dry snow crunched under its weight. The undine held out its hands adn caught a small snowflake and began to lick it like an icecream cone. It ate the snowflake and then watched as the people in estolad opened their eyes to a new white world. It had been the first snow of the season.

Sorean gently glided down to the ground lightly flapping his wings.He had just made it to the small village of Estolad. After a long journey from Lomedor sorean was just ready to kcik back relax and rest his tired wings. Any creature with wings would be tired after flying in one direction and cold gusts of winds are blowing in the opposite direction. Suddenly a cold breeze hit Sorean making him shiver all over, even his wings did some shaking. He removed his robe, closed the two holes that his black wings always go through, then put the robe back on covering his whole bady and wings. "Ah... thats better, no more ice cold wings stickin' out my back,"he said smiling.

As Sorean started to make his way to the nearest inn his moment of happiness was ruined by a small snowflack that landed on his nose. Sorean looked up at the cloudy sky and seen numorous amounts of snow falling from the sky. Just great, snow is just what i need right now...he thought. Still looking up he noticed a small blue orb flying over houses and then land on a roof. Intrested in the blue glowing orb Sorean followed it. He went behind the house the orb was on top of and jumped as high as he could to reach the roof and almost missed with only one foot on the roof and one foot hanging off the edge.

That was close, I really have to work onmy jumping skills... he thought. Regaining his composure he slowly made his way the the orb and said laughing,"Wow and i thought I was small."

Zard pulled the dark cloak over his shoulders and the hood closer to his face as he stepped out of the local inn. He was surprised at the sight of the snowfall that appeared that night. He shivered a little and repremanded himself for not bringing warmer clothing on his trip knowing it was the winter months. His feet crunched in the cold dry snow as he stepped out. His elvish ears picked up the sound of snow crunching above him and he turned to find an Undine, the sprite of ice, looking around on the top of the roof across from him. He glanced around and saw no traffic so he jogged quickly across the street.

Suddenly he heard a thump and turned to find someone hanging off the roof by one foot. He put his hands up to catch the person but they regained their balance and walked over to the Undine. ,"Wow and i thought I was small." the person said. Zenith nodded in agreement, the child was small but Sprites are very small, even compared to their pixie and faerie cousins. "Small yes, but do not underestimate Undines friend. They and their firey brethren, salamando's can pack quite the punch if you are weak against their elements. But that aside, you should be more carefull next time. The roofs are slippery and I would hate to have to carry you to your parents with a broken arm or leg." he said. Zard's elvish eyes noticed the undine eating a few flakes, an interesting diet but he had known human children to stick out their tounge to catch flakes or raindrops. He had yet to try it so he was not sure how it would taste to him, nor how silly it would seem to people watching a young elf eat flakes of snow.

Mitsu felt a thump and heard snow fall as a boy landed on the roof. He wobbled as he mislanded and she flew over to try and grab him as someone ran underneath to catch him, but he regained his balance and walked over to her. "Wow and i thought I was small." the boy said. The towering figure above her made her float up so she could look at him at eye level which was more polite and easier to communicate than being on different levels. The man walked around so he was near them, "Small yes, but do not underestimate Undines friend. They and their firey brethren, salamando's can pack quite the punch if you are weak against their elements. But that aside, you should be more carefull next time. The roofs are slippery and I would hate to have to carry you to your parents with a broken arm or leg." The small Undine nodded, "yes it would be terrible if that happened. But it is rude to talk before introductions are made. I am Mitsu, an Undine. By what title may I call you two?" She asked giving a slight bow.

Sorean looked at the small undine as she slowly floated up to his level. Suddenly Sorean turned around when he heard someone else approching them. As he turned the man said,"Small yes, but do not underestimate Undines friend. They and their firey brethren, salamando's can pack quite the punch if you are weak against their elements. As Sorean was about to comment on what the elf said the undine stepped in and said, "yes it would be terrible if that happened. But it is rude to talk before introductions are made. I am Mitsu, an Undine. By what title may I call you two?"

Nooding Sorean stepped back a little so he could have eye contact with both the elf and Mitsu, while being careful not to slip and fall. Clearing his throat he introduced himself,"My name is Sorean and I'm a fallen angel," he turned to the elf," Thank you for your concern, but if i fell i could just fly or easily land on my feet."

Sorean opened his robe and unsealed the two holes covering his wings, therefore revealing his black wings to them

Anya stepped inside the snowy village, with joy in her icy eyes. It was the first time she witnessed a snowfall and she had never seen snow before in her life. She took a handfull of snow but quickly dropped it, surprised how cold it was. She shivered as a cold wind blew snowflakes around her, like a wall, but not so strong.

She walked to the familiar inn to find three strangers there. She saw that one was elven, because her mother was a elf and the physical appearance was the same. She did not recognize the other two and made her way through the white snow to introduce herself.

"Hi there strangers, I'm Anya," said she, sticking a blue hand out to shake in greeting. The snow was falling heavier now and small white specks fell into her hair that made her look like she aged thirty years. She did not smile at the strangers. She was not the one for smiling because she knew that if she smiled too much, they would call her friend.

Tanya woke up to the smell of food cooking in her home. She opened her eyes and shivered as her father came in. "Hey sleepy head why don't you get up and join us for breakfast." She sat up and nodded sleeply. "By the way princess. Look behind you, out your window." he said. She turned and moved the curtians and looked outside and saw the village was covered in the familar white blanket. "IT SNOWED!" she said excitedly. "Get dressed and come and eat and then you can go out and play." he said shutting her door. She quickly changed into a longsleeved shirt with dark pants and threw on a pair of shoes and brushed her hair then ran to the kitchen where her mother had made her a plate.

She quickly ate her food then waited impatiently as her mother put her hair in pigtails. When she was done her father put a warm winters coat on her and she bolted out the door as it began to snow again. Snow crunched under her feet as she ran outside and twirrled catching snow on her tounge. She laughed and spun untill she was so dizzy that she fell backwards onto the snow. She spread her arms and legs out and moved them up and down and soon made a snow angel. She got up and admired her work, snow covered her hair as she looked at it. She ran off excited that the first snow of the season had finally come.

Umbra walked out of the Kamia inn. She was not as cold as some of those who were in the inn when she had brought her heavy jacket. She continued to walk out on the snow. It had began to snow again, the white flakes caught in her hair giving it a greyish tint to anyone who was farther away. She soon heard the laugh of someone familar. She turned and saw Tanya run away from her. She looked down at the freshly fallen snow and decided to have a little fun.

She stooped down and gathered the snow at her feet. Her leather gloves kept her hands warm as she packed the snow tightly as she watched the girl spin. She watched tanya fall and make a snow angel then get back up. She held the newly formed snowball in her hand and cast her blur spell as she jumped on the roof of the inn and ran across using her jumping ring to get across the gaps. She soon got in front of Tanya and leaped over the streets pulling the snowball back. "HEY TAN! HEADS UP!" she shouted throwing the snowball at Tanya.

Tanya ran gleefully down the streets laughing and playing in the snow. She did not realize she was being followed by a familiar face. She grabbed some snow and threw it up, small clumps fell around her as she ran behind an elf on the streets and did a twirl. Suddenly she heard a voice. "HEY TAN! HEADS UP!" it called. She turned around in time to see Umbra for a split second then get hit in the shoulder with a snowball. She lost her balance and fell in the fluffy white flakes. She looked at Umbra and got up brushing snow off of her as she landed. "So thats how you wanna play? Well Two can do snowball fights" she said gathering up the snow and packing it into tight balls and tossed two of them towards Umbra laughing as she did. This may not be an adventure but almost everyone had fun with snowball fights.

Mitsu let herself gently float as the boy introduced himeself. "My name is Sorean and I'm a fallen angel, thank you for your concern, but if i fell i could just fly or easily land on my feet." he said as he revealed his dark wings to them. The Undine looked at them amazed, it was the first time he had seen a pair of wings that was not on a bird. She then heard a voice nearby. "Hi there strangers, I'm Anya," said a girl as she approached.

The Undine smiled at the girl. "Hello Miss Anya, I am Mitsu. Its a pleasure to meet you ma'am." she said as she saw a small girl run in the snow around. She gave a small giggle as she watched the girl make snow angels. Suddenly the girl got pelted with a snowball from a dark haired woman. The girl returned with her own snowballs. She fell on the roof because she was lauging so hard she sat up gasping for air. "I love the winter seasons...They are just so FUN!!!" she said excitedly.

"Hello Miss Anya, I am Mitsu. Its a pleasure to meet you ma'am," she heard the fallen angel say. Anya could not help it. She smiled. She watched the two girls play in the snow. It seemed as if they made balls out of the snow and hit each other with them. What blasphemy! she cried out in her mind. Maybe I should try it.

She took a bit of cold snow from the ground and putted it around in her hands to from a little ball. She took her aim and threw it at the fallen angel's head. "Is this what everyone calls a snowball fight?" she said rather uncertainly. She took another bit of snow and made another snowball out of it. Anya threw it at one of the younger girls and then she giggled. She was having fun for the first time in years, and she was enjoying it!

Sorean smiled as the two young girls that just came outside enjoyed themdelves with a good snowball fight. He tried his best not to laugh when the girl got hit by the surprise attack and fell into the soft snow. After seeing a good portion of the snow he turned back around to focus on Mitsu and our new guest. Just as sorean turned around Mitsu and the girl were already gettin to know each other. "Hello Miss Anya, I am Mitsu. Its a pleasure to meet you ma'am."

So caught up in watching the snowball fight sorean never even noticed this person come up to them. Raising his hand Sorean gave a little wave and then said,"Hello-"

He was cut off by a snowball in the face. He stood still as melted snow began to fall down his face and drip from his chin. Sorean looked at Anya and began to open his robe so he could have a bit more maneuverability. As he bent over he said to the girl, "So thats your game, well two can play at that game." Sorean threw it at anya just as she finished throwing her second one. He smiled and thought... Maybe snow isn't so bad.

Anya had just finished her second snowball and then recieved a ball to her face. Surprised at the coldness on her face, she looked at where the snowball came from. It came from one of the strangers that had stood and talked with the fallen angel called Mitsu.

She took another handful of snow and lobbed it at the stranger, laughing. She walked up to him, trying to look important somehow, but the snow was too deep. She stumbled and fell into the cold snow. She laughed once more and turned on her back to face the stranger.

"Hello there! I'm Anya!" she said with a bright smile on her face.
