---

Beads of sweat trailed down his cheeks, hours of tracking before him. His hands glistened with sweat, his garb colors faded from wear. The fiery red hair was getting dull from the winds that swept through him, and some from the collapse earlier. It was quite a strange turn of events, and this of all never ceased to surprise him. Fates are toying with him he thought as he laid his twin blades down to catch a breather. Placing on knee down, he placed his hand on a wall, trying to draw as much breath as he can. Even if he has become old and physical deficiencies such as this are pointless to him, the energy spent traveling was a bother.

He had companions for this journey, when they set out from Estolad. A sizeable den of werebeasts were spotted in the mountains, and with haste he set out to meet the danger. He was aware that some were along for the trip, but he bothered not to get acquainted. His work was more of a one-man job, and it was his choice to remain alone. His burdens was his own, his duty bound to no one else. He pressed further that day, until trouble struck.

Barely at the foot of the mountain, a dozen of the beasts were spotted, preying on helpless travelers. Little could be done to save the poor souls, but the beasts were still there. Drawing his poison blades, the figure rushed without hesitation. The beasts were caught unaware of danger, the alluring scent of food still filling their nostrils. The figure made quick cuts through two nearby werebeasts, which alarmed the rest. The two cut down squirmed in agonizing pain, the poison from the figure's blades working well. The rest of the pack left the wounded to fall, and the figure gave chase.

Almost half a day passed trying to catch the rest of the pack. Some hid through the shadows cast by the mountain, others fleed without looking back. It was when a trio of larger-sized beasts appeared that he ended up where he stood. The werewolves fought with such bestial fury that the figure grew weary. Punches traded and wounds flayed, but eventually the three fell. As the figure wiped off the stain from his blades, the ground beneath him weakened. The weak earth crumbled beneath the figure, and now he is trapped in a cave, which seemed to stretch farther into the depths. The companions that trailed him could be still up on the mountain, or similar disasters could have caught them in the same trouble. Whatever the circumstances, he has to find a way out, to complete his mission and to escape the labyrinth before him.

Dmoney - December 2, 2006 05:52 PM (GMT)
Kenyari was in Estolad when he heard about the troubles in the mountains. It seems a group was already going up so he decided to just go with. He came up to the mountain and looked up at it. He chuckled to himself as he knew this would be a easy climb for him. Kenyari started going up the mountain but he had broke off from the group some. The rest went up a easier path but he decided to go up the harder way to help in his training.

As he ran up the mountain a beast jumped from out of a set of bushes that stood to the side of him. The beast had tackled kenyari and kenyri quickly rolled and kicked him off. "Damn thing. Didn't see you coming." he said as he quickly drew his sword. The beast seemed to not stand down at all and was ready to fight. The beast quickly pounced at kenyari but the reflects of kenyari would be the fall of the beast. Kenyari quickly reacted to the sudden movements to the beast and ran forward towards it. The beast had jumped and spread his arms wide open. Kenyari smirked as the beast left himself open for a critical attack. Without thinking twice kenyari quickly took his sword and stuck it to the under belly of the beast. The beast hit the ground face first letting out a loud wail. Kenyari stuck his sword through the back of the neck of the beast silencing the beast. "Just another death to add to the already long list of things and people i have killed" he said laughing as he wiped the blood from the beast on the beast's fur. He pu his sword back in its sheath and continued to run up the mountian.

Kenyari had come to a clearing and looked down. He had saw sanzen, his other companion, down there fighting a beast of his own. He seemed to be tired from the fight but he managed to get it kill after a while. kenyari jumped down but as he was falling he saw as the ground underneath sanzen had caved in. Unfortunately kenyari it seems that kenyari would fall into the same hole as sanzen. He landed a few feet away from sanzen. Kenyari walked closer to him as he looked to make sure he was ok. "Wow, who knew that when i jumped i would actually end up in a hole." he laughed as he out stretched a hand to help sanzen. "Well i guess its us for the time being. Might as well travel together, We are more powerful in a group rather than separate" he said friendly as he wait for sanzen to react.

Anya - December 2, 2006 07:15 PM (GMT)
Anya drank down the last dregs of her ale and set it down with a loud clang. She had a mission to do, but lots of time to do it. She was with a company, and since they departed already, she could resist to have a flagon of ale. she smaked her lips and stood up. She put some gold on the counter and left.

She stepped into the street and squinted at the mountains. That's where it was, she said to herself. She started at a run, not bothering to buy a horse since she needed the training, and fitness. She stopped by the foothills of the mountain that they were supposed to meet. She saw her company fighting some beasts and they looked pretty good without her. Besides, she ran all the way there, she needed a rest.
She waited rather patiently until they had finished and one of her company fell through the weak earth into some caverns underneath. She watched another member help him out of the hole. She might as well join them now that she was there. She started to run again, thinking when her next flagon of ale she would have next...

She unsheathed her sword, just incase her friends missed some beasts. They did, and one extra large one was creeping up on one of the members.
"Ho, sir, don't move an inch!" she shouted as she ran towards the beast. She absently took her sword into a swinging curve that went through the beast's neck like a knife through melted butter...

"You can move now. I just took care of a small problem that was about to tear you pieces," she said in her bravest voice. A nice breeze picked up, flowing her long, red hair in an easterly direction and a ray of sun burst out of the clouds and shone upon her. She smiled brightly until a cloud covered the sun and her smile faded.

"Now, what are we here for again?"

kai_fox - December 2, 2006 10:23 PM (GMT)
How long had he been down here in this accursed maze of caves and caverns and tunnels? A day, maybe? Two? Kai wasn't sure, but it was feeling like an eternity, and fortunately he'd decided a while back to conserve his energy, especially after that striking mental pain, and the strange voices he'd heard at the back of his mind during that moment.

His ears perking up as he finally heard something after hours of silence, he chuckled softly, glad that he'd finally be seeing something down here, and trudged off to where he'd heard the sound, his blue vest and dark blue pants somewhat dirt-stained from all the walking he'd been doing.

Arriving near where he'd heard some crumbling rock, as well as footsteps and a few voices, something suddenly popped out at him, something he didn't recognize, and after the mental pain and probably miles and hours of walking, he acted the only way he could; on his wilder instincts. His eyes becoming noticeably more fox-like, he ducked down under the blind swipe from the creature's claws, rising up along with the claws on one hand and raking them through the creature's chest, a werewolf as it turned out, panting slightly and looking toward where there were more people as it fell lifeless to the ground.

"Finally, something other than endless rock," he said weakly, his eyes returning mostly to their normal state. If there were people here, then maybe he was close to an exit...it was a definite hope, that was for certain.

Sin Deadheart - December 2, 2006 11:22 PM (GMT)
A lone wolf was wondering the spider caves of the mountains, moving quickly down each and every path it went. It seeemed as though the wolf was looking for someone, and this was true. The person had been traveling with for a while, a man by the name of Kenyari. Yes he had left Estolad in a hurry and the wolf headed up the mountains after him, but on his way to get Kenyari the wolf seen a group of werewolfs enter the spider caves and so went in after them.

Of course this no normal wolf, it was infact a shapeshifter, and one many people in Arda feared. Slowly the wolf changed back to normal, his full set of Bloodshed Armour holding onto his body and a large black cloak flowing over the armour. As the hood of the cloak had been kept in place because of the two horns on the bloodshed helm that ripped out at the sides of the hood.

Hanging at the mans right hand side was the Longsword of Bloodshed, at his right was a set of Lightning Arrows while on the mans back, below his Demon Bow, was also his Bloodshed Shield. While he had these weapon on his person it was the weapon the man held tight within the grasp of his right hand that he used most. A very large sword where the blade on its own was just over six feet in lenght. The mans hair was waist lenght and was white, while his eyes were seen as glowing red orbs.

Sin Deadheart was the figures name, and he soon heard voices near by, and the scent of a Vulpine flowing through the air. With this Sin went to investigate what the noise was. Slowly heading in the direction of the first sound he seen two people ahead of him, one was kenyari, but as for the other one Sin did not know who it was. The shapeshifter had a small smirk spread across his lips as he walked out towards the others as said "Kenyari! You just left. If you want to team with me, atleast let me know when we leave!" Sin let out a small sigh after this, if was hard for his to be "Kind" after all it was not in his nature to do so.

His eyes then fixed onto the other figure, it was good that Sins face was hidden by his cloak as it would have been clear to anyone that he had an eyes for Bloodlust. Yes if there was one thing Sin was good at doing, and loved to do, it was killing people, anyone... anything, he didnt care!

Sanzen - December 3, 2006 03:51 AM (GMT)
(OOC: Hope I got the series of events right...)

Just then voices came from behind, his senses quickly picking it up. The sounds came from above, and just then he saw a familar face, with hands outstreched. It was a figure he met before in the inn, when he was recollecting his thoughts. The person's name eluded him for now, fatigue causing his memory to jumble and confuse him. . "Well i guess its us for the time being. Might as well travel together, We are more powerful in a group rather than separate" The figure seemed friendly for now, and though it was against his better judgement, staying in a group is a good idea. He accepted the helping hand, and lifted himself up. In a sincere tone he bothered to ask, "What is your name again, sir?"

Even before he expected the reply from the figure, he turned to see another before him, a female. She managed to dispatch another werewolf, and was before the two again. She asked the group, "Now, what are we here for again?" It was a question he didn't bother to answer, but with the lack of options for the time being, he decided to entertain the girl's question. "I guess you've been following me track down a den of the werebeasts, and ended up here in the heart of the mountain."

Sanzen was unsure where exactly they were, the events that transpired before was a blur. Right now they could indeed be in the heart of the mountatin, or maybe in some cave network beneath the earth. Whatever it was, the way he came in didn't look like the way out, so the only path is through the darkness, and what else awaits them.

Another figure made its way into the group, a hooded figure whose exact features was unclear. He talked to one of the group, saying "Kenyari! You just left. If you want to team with me, atleast let me know when we leave!" He was probably talking to one of the two, he couldn't tell. Whatever it was, he didn't really care much, seeing as the figure and one of the people close to him are acquainted. They can talk all they want, but for now escape is his priority. Now he eagerly awaited what his companions would say, and if any others are still going to catch up. Something else other than werewolves could be down here, and their group size would certainly be an advantage.

Anya - December 3, 2006 07:33 PM (GMT)
((Sorry This is gonna be really short))

Kirana played with her sword as she heard more people approaching. She jumped into the hole and saw a hooded figure and a fox-like person. They looked familiar yet not. Now she greeted them, asking each their name. She heard a few sounds far away and looked east. A bunnch of spindly shapes clambered down one of the musty passages, hissing furiously.

"Guys, I think we have company!" she said fiercely.

Dmoney - December 3, 2006 08:02 PM (GMT)
kenyri braced himself as sanzen pulled himself up. "What is your name again, sir?"
sanzen had asked him but before he had a chance he looked in the other direction. SOme girl had come and asked what she was here for again. Kenyari chuckled to himself but it soon hit him that he too had forgotten what he was here for. All he knew is that it required something being killed and he loved the thought of a fresh kill.

Kenyari was somewhat reluctant that he decided to leave his lupine Uzziah down below the mountain. He noticed that there was nothing but werebeasts here and that someone could have mistaken him for one of them. He looked around the dark cave still not answering sanzen's question. "I guess you've been following me track down a den of the werebeasts, and ended up here in the heart of the mountain." he head sanzen say but did not turn in their direction. He took a few steps forward as he heard something coming up from the distance. He put a hand on his sword as he readied himself to be attacked by something.

As he stood there waiting he heard a familiar voice. He immediately put his sword away and turned back to the others. He turned back to where the voice came from and now stood a figure whose face he couldn’t see but knew exactly who it was. "Well sin. my bad. I yelled your name but you never looked so i figured you would have noticed i was gone." he said laughing to himself.

Suddenly as he was talking the girl blurted out "Guys, I think we have company!" . Kenyari smirked as he took his sword out and looked in the direction of his friend sin. "You ready to go hunting some things with me sin. Nothing like a nice kill eh." he said jokingly but knowing that sin would happily agree to go killing with him. Sin was exactly like kenyari. Had a deep thirst for a nice killing. Guess that’s what made them such a good team.

Sin Deadheart - December 4, 2006 11:33 AM (GMT)
Sin looked on as Sanzen spoke to Kenyari, the tall shapeshifter said not a word as he awaited for them to end their conversation. Soon however Sin heard the voice of Kenyari say, "Well sin. my bad. I yelled your name but you never looked so i figured you would have noticed i was gone." With a smirk the shapeshifter said in return, "Like I could not notice! After all, You do alot talking... " A dark smirk spreading along the lips of the Dark Knight, Sin then heard a young woman speak and her words made Sin instantly tighten his grip around the hilt of Celest.

It seems something was watching the small group from within the shadows of these caves. Sin knew that these were the spider caves, so these beasts could have been giant spiders, maybe even driders. Although the shapeshifters first thought was that the werebeasts had found the group once more. Sin then took his Bloodshed Shield into his left hand ready to protect himself. Now with both his shield and sword in hand the shapeshifter was ready. Thats when he once again heard the voice of Kenyari say, "You ready to go hunting some things with me sin. Nothing like a nice kill eh." Sin let out a small laugh before saying back to Kenyari, "Do you even need to ask? Killing is what I love doing most!" It was then that Sin helped the group out by making a source of light for them.

His shield errupted in raging blue flames and the shapeshifter seen the outline of three large werebeasts along with four large spiders. They had not been in the caves for long, and already things did not look good for them. Sin then pushed forward towards the enemy, one of the werebeasts aiming a stike towards the head of Sin. The dark knight quickly moved his shield to block the attack from the beast and in turn burning its hand. With the amount of enemies around Sins Bloodshed armour let him take a Beserk state. His gauntlets crackled with crimson lightning that also spread along his blade. This would make his weapon stikes, and even normal punches deal more damage.

With the blade of Celest covered in the crimson like lightning Sin pushed the blade into the chest of the werebeast. The lightning shocking the inside of the beast as it then cracked through it thick spine leaving the werebeast lifeless. With one down all that was left to take care of were two more werebeasts, and the four large spiders. The bloodlust within Sin had been unleashed once more and he was ready to strike for even more kills.

kai_fox - December 4, 2006 06:10 PM (GMT)
"Name's Kai..." Kai said as the girl asked his name from what he could tell. Then he looked around a bit after her warning shout, wondering what the problem was, and finding it rather quickly. If he only had the energy to do much...but he'd been down here far too long.

Nobody but Sanzen in this current group seemed familiar to him, but that didn't matter, he'd have to do something. Sighing to himself and turning around, he let both hands immediately blaze with a red flame. He'd been down here plenty long enough to know quite well how to deal with these spiders, and deal with him it seemed everyone would. If he could control himself at this point, though...that would be another story.

"The sooner I get out of these lousy caves, the better..." he muttered, tossing the blazing fireballs at the spiders primarily, not too worried about the werewolves. Those could be the others' concern for now...he didn't want to go berserk like he'd started to just earlier.

Anya - December 4, 2006 07:18 PM (GMT)
Anya took her sword out once more and swiched it in front of her, like a protective shield. She spun around, and used the momentum to slash one of the werewolves heads off. She was unaware of what happened all around her, but she particularly didn't like werewolves and really wanted to dispose of them immediately. She wasn't really worried about the spiders.

She then was aware that a spider was approaching her from behind quickly took action. She spun again, and hacked mindlessly at the spiders legs, then chopped off his pincers. She dodged Kai's fire balls when she jumped back to the party. She didn't want to take all of the glory. She'll might want to do that later.

"Hi everyone. Have a fight. They're a bit tough," she said lazily as she sat on her haunches, waitng for the fight to pass over.

Dmoney - December 6, 2006 03:02 PM (GMT)
Kenyari quickly unsheathed his sword as he killed the last two werebeasts with ease. The ones they were fighting here were not as strong as the ones he had fought before he fell into this cave. He looked at the rest of the people around him and wondered why we needed so many people for a simple killing mission. Kenyari looked over at sin who was standing there.

"Well shall we move on. no sense standing here. we cant get out that way so we might as well continue further into these parts. there are more of them down here." he said out loud turning and started to walk slowly down the dark path. "Besides. I want to kill some more" he thought to himself as he walked on. He looked back to see if anyone was coming but it was hard to see. He shrugged and continued on down the path. There was little to no light down here and most of his spells he could not use. Ashen fire needed a open space to hit. This was underground in a small tunnel. Kenyari sighed as he took his sword out and twilled it. He came to a large opening where he found many creatures down there.

"This isn’t the nest. this just looks like a place where people went and made a failed attempt to catch these creatures." he thought looking back. Kenyari soon realized that these werebeasts WANTED people to come up here and find them. He noticed that they were eating the flesh of many people that were recently up here. The holes must have just been a trap and once they were stuck in this maze they became the hunted instead of the hunter. Kenyari turned back to go and tell the news to the others when his sword accidentally scrapped the wall. The loud sound caused some of the werebeasts to walk to where they head the direction. "this may not be the nest but its still a crap load of them. Sin needs to hurry up so he can get some kills in. Or I am taking them all for myself." He thought as a huge smirk came on his face as he prepared himself to attack these beasts.

Sanzen - December 6, 2006 04:11 PM (GMT)
The action never seemed to stop for the party. A little after he asked some questions, the female with them shouted out, "Guys, I think we have company!" in a fierce tone. The other adventurers with them began to draw their weapons, and easily cut down the oncoming beasts. The werebeasts Sanzen had been tracking down appeared again, along with some denizens of the mountain. It was a strange mix of foes, as both seemed to anticipate lost travelers... and prey on them. Luckily this was one group whose arrival they failed to notice, and it was a fatal error for them.

One of his guildmates, Kai, was also in the caves, and he let loose some fearsome spells while the other adventurers drew out their weapons and cut down the beasts with ease. With the battle over and Sanzen barely lifting a finger, he let out a small sigh. He shrugged his head in disappointment as he composed himself once again, preparing for the travels ahead.

One of his companions, the figure who extended his hand in assurance, told the group "Well shall we move on. no sense standing here. we cant get out that way so we might as well continue further into these parts. there are more of them down here." After saying his words the figure walked down a path, his form disappearing into the darkness. With little hesitation the vampire followed, hands gripping his weapons tightly.

The figure seemed to stop short of a sizeable cave, filled with werewolves. This looked like the nest he had been looking for, but the numbers were too short. Their presence was not yet made known, until his companion scraped the wall. Like moths to a flame the werebeasts turned on them, ready to fight. Sanzen quickly drew his fever sword and poison blade, and prepared to battle.

One of the werewolves rushed in early, claws behind his back. The creature aimed to close in fast and deliver quick fatal blows, aiming at the vampire. With a twist of his upper body Sanzen evaded the twin horizontal attacks, countering the furious charge by sliding the fever sword through the beast's side, right where no bone protects it. He followed through with a circle kick, driving the beast back to where his comrades where. With pure berserker's rage filling his thoughts, the wounded werewolf blindly attacked its allies, wounding two before finally succumbing to the pain. "This will be quite the day" he thought, the rest of the pack still closing in.

Sin Deadheart - December 8, 2006 04:07 PM (GMT)
Sin looked at the blood that now ran along his blade and smirked somewhat, seeing, and even tasting blood made the shapeshifter happy in some twisted way. Sin then turned back to face Kenyari in order to ask why he was not fighting, only to find that his friend has gone. He had walked down to another part of the cave. Sin shook his head a little and headed to were Kenyari, and now Sanzen had headed off to.

Zaraku, Sins Lupine follower had not come along this time with him. After all, this Sanzen was hunting fown werebeasts and Zaraku would have gotten attacked as well. The flames that were on the shield of Sins soon died down as the shapeshifter placed the shield back onto his back. Sin then smirked as he seen the forms of Kenyari and Sanzen. Quickly Sin drew his Katar into his left hand as his grip got tighter around the hilt of Celest. The shapeshifter began to run forward as he heard the werebeasts start their attack on Kenyari and Sanzen.

Once he manged to get there Sin seen Sanzen slash one of the werebeasts and kick it back out among its family. Going into a beserk state the werebeasts attacked his own kind and soon fell down dead from the wound. Sin then stood next Sanzen and said, "Nice weapon you got their! Just dont let your gaurd down!" Sin then started to laugh in his own twisted way once more as he drew up next to Kenyari, his next words aimed at his friend as he said, "Now now Kenyari. You were not going to have all the fun without me were you?" The smirk along Sins lips growing a little wider as the shapeshifter stepped into the large cave.

Looking around him Sin seen the werebeast gather together to go for an all out attack. The shapeshifter then softly said the word Blur before running towards two werebeasts that had broken off from the rest. Moving like a blur Sin quickly appeared behind the beasts. Both his Katar and Celest were covered in the crimson lightning thanks to his armour. His katar slashed into the back of one of the beasts, the Katar snapping the beasts spine as it yelled out in great pain.

While he did this the blade of Celest run up the side of the second beast, killing was just so much fun for Sin, he loved it, he had a lust for blood. The Shapeshifter quickly looked back to Kenyari saying, "Hurry up kid, or there wont be much left for you!" The shapeshifter then took back his blades, the two werebeasts falling down onto the ground dead.

Anya - December 8, 2006 08:21 PM (GMT)
Anya sighed in disbelief as she saw the company rush into a cave filled with werebeasts. She was enjoying this a lot and she didn't want to stop now!
"Wait for me, you selfish barbarians!" she cried and ran into the cave to join in the 'fun'. She took out her sword and started the slash a werebeast that came right at her at an alarming speed. She struck it down with a mighty slash of her precious sword and headed for another.

She span for an attack and had to stop in the middle of it, because the floor was filled with sand. She slipped and fell in a heap of arms, legs and sword. Anya felt a wave of pain on her back and she turned on her butt to face the werebeast with a determined look on her face. She kicked it down and stabbed it with her sword. She took a cloth and wiped her sword down carefully. It was a gift from someone special, she did not want to break it.

Anya tried to stand up, and immediately fell back to the floor. A bemused look came across her face and realised that the werebeast attacked her so much that she could not stand. A pained look came across her face as she sat up on her knees to strike another werebeast. These monsters are pretty strong, she thought to herself. It took her a while to kill this one, because her back was restricted to one position and she was her knees.

Finally, the werebeast fell down, and Anya took her chance. "Guys, a little help would be great, thanks!" she called loudly so that everyone could hear her. She winced once more as she slumped on the sandy cave floor, she breath becoming shallower and her vision blurred...

Sanzen - December 9, 2006 08:33 AM (GMT)
Soon after the initial skirmish, the other adventurers followed suit. Sanzen saw Kai earlier, but must be still caught up with something. He had little time to worry about his companions when another werebeast pounced on him, claws forcing him on the ground. Sanzen quickly performed the hand gestures, and with a flick disappeared from the ground, just as the beast was about to tear a chunk from the vampire's shoulder. The teleport spell worked instantly, bringing Sanzen above the werewolf. Gravity took its toll, causing him to crash down on the beast, his foot planted neatly on the back. With a swift thrust of his poison blade he slayed the helpless werewolf, the glimmer in its eyes fading into a solid blank.

The battle was intense, but the werebeasts seemed to be caught by surprise. Most seem to be just feasting on recent prey, so their movements were less than what was expected. It was to their advantage, this fight. This would more or less catch the attention of the masters of the den, and finish what they started at a shorter time. No sooner had such fulfilling thoughts entered his mind, when a familiar voice came from a corner. Guys, a little help would be great, thanks!" It seems that the female warrior they had with them was injured, and was slowly succumbing to weakness.

A small sigh made its way out of the vampire, frustration mixed with concern all at once. This was the reason he worked alone, so that no one else would get mixed up. But since the circumstances were forced upon him, he had to make do. Rushing to her side, he intercepted a werewolf whose hungry eyes were focused on the girl. Preparing his blades, he placed a good swing from the fever sword on his right, recieving the force the werewolf used as momentum to close in on the girl. With the beast stopped on its tracks, Sanzen used his other sword to strike at the beast's leg, causing it to stumble and fall. Helpless and wounded, Sanzen left the werewolf to suffer, and proceeded to assist the girl.

Planting both blades near the ground, he outstreched his hand, towards the girl. The girl seemed weakened, but surely if she indeed needed his help, he would take his hand. He eagerly awaited her reply, as well as surveyed the surrounding area.

Anya - December 9, 2006 06:59 PM (GMT)
Anya stuggled to stay awake, for the wound was getting infected quickly. Shapes and blurrs were all around her, and she couldn't really seem to place who was what. Suddenly, she saw the hungry yellow eyes of a werebeast in front of her and panic seized her throat. Suddenly, a slim figure appeared a stabbed the werebeast and cut his legs off.

Anya couldn't remember what happened next, but she saw a blurry hand in front of her. She looked upwards to find the hand belonged to the figure that saved her life from the werebeast. His eyes were surprisingly red but it mattered not. She took his hand gently, finding it very cold, and tried to stand up.

She slumped back on the floor, crying out in pain. She could not see now for everything had gone to black, but her senses were more hightened. She raised her hand to wipe off whatever had covered her eyes and found a giant spider in her hands. She shrieked loudly and dragged herself away from the spider.

Anya did not understand why, but everything around her she feared but the hand she held onto. She looked up once more and gave the figure a weak smile and then, once more...

Everything went black...

Dmoney - December 10, 2006 05:19 AM (GMT)
Kenyari watched as the others quickly laid killing to the werebeasts in this area. Kenyari felt left out as he stepped into the small opening that was there. He saw three more coming down the tunnel that lead into this now graveyard. "Your mine" he said as he teleported behind the thirst one to enter into the cavw. He quickly took one slash with his sword devastation and laid waste to the werebeasts with ease.

The other two noted the fallen werbeasts and turned to attack kenyari. They quickly attacked with their sharp claws. Kenyari sliced the hand off of one of them but the second one caught him on the arm. No damage was done because of his cloak. The werebeast had only tore peices of his cloak off. This angered kenyari as he did a turning slash to the head of the werebeasts. He watched as the beasts head fell to the ground. He looked back to the other one left who was yelling and screaming at the lost of his hand. Kenyari quickly shut him up as he shoved his sword through the heard of the werbeast.

Kenyari looked over at the fallen party member. "Weak" he thought to himself as a werebeast thought he could sneak up on him. Kenyari gutted the werebeasts without looking at him, Blood splattered everywhere as he looked at the rest of the fallen werbeasts in the room. He looked over in sin's direction to see how he was fairing. "This enough killing for you" he said laughing knowing that it wasn’t. One think kenyari knew was that sin had a thirst to kill just as much as kenyari did. Kenyari placed his sword back in it sheath as he waited for the regrouping of the party members. “Lets move on guys” he said rashly as he wanted to kill more. “And sin…don’t take them all this time” he laughed looking down the tunnel where the werebeasts that attacked him came from.

Sin was in such a lust for the blood of these werebeasts he had not seen much that the others were doing, infact he had even lost sight of the person he always called Kid, Kenyari. The shapeshifter looked down at the two werebeasts he had killed before and he let out a dark and twisted laugh out into the cave. Soon four more beasts began running towards the dark knight and Sin said, "This is more like it!" His grip getting tighter around his Katar and Celest Sin awaited the werebeats getting closer to him.

The first one to get near his Sin ripped into its side with his Katar letting out another manic laughter as he pulled the Katar up gutting the beast quickly. The other three beasts seemed to become enraged at this small fact and run towards Sin. The shapeshifter quickly placed his Katar and Celest onto the ground swinging his Demon Bow round, then as he loaded one of his arrows into the bow Sin took aim and shot at the first beast. As the arrow shot through the air it burst into black flames and also had lightning running along it. It pierced into the head of the werebeasts making it scream out in pain for a brief second before falling to the ground dead.

Quickly loading in two more arrows Sin let them fly through the air, both arrows again bursting into black flames with the lightning running around them. The first arrow ripped into the heart of one werebeast while the second smashed into the knee of the only living werebeasts left within the small group. With this beast still alive Sin would be able to have even more fun! Sin picked up his Katar and Celest again before walking over to the weakened beast. The shapeshifter then smirked a little before pushing his Katar into the werebeasts neck, the blood spurting out in a wide area. It was only then that Sin heard the voice of Kenyari.

Sin smirked at the words of Kenyari before he kicked the dead werebeasts and headed towards the same direction the kid was headed. Thats when he also seen Anya and Sanzen, Sin could not care less if anyone was to die down here, he was only there for the joy of killing these beasts, nothing else at all! With that Sin looked for more things to kill!

This was definitely turning out to be a strange party, so to speak...there was Sanzen, who he knew, then two people he couldn't identify that seemed rather...ferocious, in a sense, then a girl that had just gotten injured. And all the while things were too chaotic for him to step into the fight with these werewolves without potentially hurting what could be considered to be his current allies.

Sighing slightly, he simply trudged off after them, not sure if he'd really be able to get back to the surface the way they came anyway, despite that that was where he'd really rather be at this point, as opposed to these lousy caverns, where he'd already spent quite long enough.

Seeing the two fiercer members of the group begin to split off from where Sanzen and the injured girl were, he walked over to them, looking over the girl a bit. Some kind of poison, probably...unfortunately, there was nothing he could really do about that.

"Looks like we should probably get her out of here...though I don't think these other two could give half a care," he said, feeling a slight pain through his mind once again, but ignoring it. This really wasn't the time to deal with that again, even if there did seem to be a somewhat wilder side of him awakening.

Sanzen - December 13, 2006 03:06 PM (GMT)
The massacre that ensued became more of a blur. The two adventurers he didn't know delivered skillful and fatal blows to the werebeasts, their lifeless and blooded corpses lining the floors. The battle was over in an instant, with the last werewolf lying lifelessly before the man who wielded a bow. The two seem to recognize each other, and appear to be at home in this setting. Though Sanzen wanted nothing more than to join in on the 'fun', he had more pressing issues before him. Clenching his fists as if in frustration, he attended to the weak girl as a familar figure approached him

It was Kai, a member of the Syndicate in which he held the title of guildmaster. He had not changed a bit, but his appearance radiated a different aura. The greater prowess Kai had emanated from him, and Sanzen could feel it from where he stood. It appears the world did go some length since he slept, as even his own guildmates could match him toe to toe. Kai approached Sanzen and the girl, whose weak frame was beginning to be apparent. "Looks like we should probably get her out of here...though I don't think these other two could give half a care," he said, a suggestion Sanzen would try if he only knew what affliction has taken their companion.

She was weak, and almost unconcious. The battle they had only showed werewolves and some spiders, both of which did not secrete venoms which could place anyone in the condition this girl is in. The air around the caves was damp and filled with death, but nothing toxic and poisonous. Had this been the case the whole party should have been afflicted. This was puzzling, and Sanzen sat down in order to contemplate on the situation.

Looking up towards Kai, he replied to his suggestion. "We could try, but with her condition I think it is safe to let her rest here." He notioned with a gesture to signify laying something down, then continued. "We need prepare something to make her feel at ease, then at least keep watch. We cannot continue with one person short. Those two seem to have more of a grasp over things, so worrying about them is useless." He laid his swords on his lap, to prepare for any oncoming foes that may take advantage. In the corner two gleaming eyes caught his eye, but he awaited the shadow to make itself known, before making a move.
