Title: Final Exams

Lothlómendil - November 30, 2006 07:05 PM (GMT)
This week is my last week of classes for the quarter, and next week is final exam week, so I'm going to be really busy studying for the next week. Don't expect to see much of me until next Thursday, at which point I will be very active again, since I have a month of winter break. :w00t: I'll be on vacation with my boyfriend for 2 weeks of my break, but I'll have my laptop and I'll still be coming on each day. Hopefully when exams are over I'll be able to get a lot of things done that got put off when school started back at the end of September.

Enlil - November 30, 2006 07:07 PM (GMT)
Good luck with your finals Loth ^_^ And when you get Active it would be so cool to have a topic O_O Well... with the Keepers :p lol

kai_fox - November 30, 2006 07:08 PM (GMT)
Study? Beh, who studies? (ok, everyone but me, but that's besides the point x.x ) Hope you have fun on your trip and all, and I feel sorry for those folks that can't get A's without studying >.> *locks himself up in a metal, fire- and pitchfork-proof shed until overall finals test time is over*

College is nothing like high school, no one can accomplish anything without studying. High school accomplishments are child's play.

Kieraline - November 30, 2006 07:15 PM (GMT)
Oooh, study hard and best wishes on the finals, Loth!

kai_fox - November 30, 2006 07:20 PM (GMT)
High school? Who said anything about high school? I've been going to college for three years and I still never bother to study, and still get A's and a few B's. I love taking tests, just that my preparation for them is doing what I usually do: watching TV and playing video games o.o

Lothlómendil - November 30, 2006 07:25 PM (GMT)
I find that hard to believe, since I don't know anyone in college that can honestly make that claim. I don't know what you're studying, but when it comes to calculus and physics and chemistry and engineering, there is no survival without hardcore studying. It's kind of insulting to be told that you deserve pity if you have to study to do well, as if I'm not smart enough to breeze through college without effort.

Enlil - November 30, 2006 07:28 PM (GMT)
Im in college, and the only thing I dont study for is Video... since the exam is the final production of our t.v show we need to make. Everything else im doing would be hard to get by without study since there is like 2 or 3 huge folder of notes on each class ^_^;

Phedre - November 30, 2006 07:30 PM (GMT)
ANNOUNCEMENT #2:

Ditto to what Loth said!! I have exams too! 4 of them! Gah! And it's teh uber stress. I plan on replying to the topics I have with Ita/Thav (2) and that's probably it. So sorry for my continued lack of rping, but imagine the greatness come the end of my last exam!!

*makes euphoric noise*

COUNTIN' DOWN THE DAYZ! :w00t:

kai_fox - November 30, 2006 07:30 PM (GMT)
Didn't mean it that way, just that it must suck for them to have to do that instead of have fun *shrug* As for me, though, guess I just have a really good memory when I want to, probably because of my mental 'dis'-ability (no, not my insanity)

Elmo - November 30, 2006 07:35 PM (GMT)
Good luck with the exam ^_^

Enlil - November 30, 2006 07:42 PM (GMT)
Oh I better change what I said then. Good luck to both Loth and Phedre in your exams!!!!

Ita the Reckless - November 30, 2006 09:38 PM (GMT)
Best of luck with your exams, Pheddy and Loth! :w00t: ^_^

Kieraline - November 30, 2006 11:49 PM (GMT)
Good luck to you as well, Phedre! School's coming here soon, even us old folks get to do it.

Oh I feel for you. Computer science in my case, was and still is a pain in the ass similar to engineering!

Sanzen - December 2, 2006 04:19 PM (GMT)
I won't want to get involved with academic-related debates, but I wish you guys best of luck in your exams or papers... or projects ^^

Meh, I gots one more academic requirement then it's more Arda for me

I'm a programming genius, so I didn't list that under hard subjects. :r

Sin Deadheart - December 2, 2006 06:52 PM (GMT)
Im just a genius  see lol

Silver - December 2, 2006 09:17 PM (GMT)
Bah, finals. I have em' next-next week. Not tough, I've counted and I only have three(my electronics teacher doesn't believe in them, my "advanced" info 2 teacher is too much of an airhead, my chem teacher is doing his on wednesday of next week, and team sports...well...probably a to the death hockey tournament.) so I've got it eaaaaaasy. At least I think I do...no matter what, my math final is going to kill me, since my algebra 2 teacher thought that his college football days are more important than my education... And Algebra 2 still crops up on our final. So......at least its only 50 multiple choice questions.

Puppet Boy - December 3, 2006 03:47 AM (GMT)
Yeah it's that time of year isn't it. Mine started last Thursday and end on this coming Wendesday. Most of them are no sweat, but Spanish...

>:( Java, mysql, php and that nasty assembly language programming? Actually I think we had to take up two levels of calculus and a ton of other theoretical -programming- based junk that are too abstract to describe before I shifted to another course that was more appropriate for my taste. I mean I can program, but I prefer to see a more visually appealing result without having a team of a zillion other programmers. It's always team-based else you'd only be scripting and making minor programs. So in the end, I found 3D animation and visual media more interesting =]
