(OOC: First return post)
The tales that spread around bore no justice to the truth. The pub's lights never did close, even at the peak of the night. The patrons clamored and rejoiced, various issues raised and discussed. Drinks were served all around, each flagon of ale consumed within minutes. The bartender never looked so satisfied that day, as any day as before. Smiles and joys spread around the pub, as it was always. It was an ideal haven for rest and relaxation. But for one figure, it was his chance at returning to his roots.
He had been asleep all this time. The days were beginning to get longer before, and time moved slower each day that passed. Memories of past battles and epic struggles roamed through his mind, his thoughts focused elsewhere other than the scen laid down before him. He has little recollection of his connections, and his guild has long been inactive. It was then that he chose to slumber, a sleep that only recently he had awoken to. Time passed was of no concern to him, it was the gap that was problematic.
The world had changed, as evident as the look on his face when he entered the pub doors. The looks and faces of the patrons had changed, as well as the feel of the night he dwelled in. It was as if he traveled into a new world, a new and strange place he wished to know more about. For now, he scanned the faces on the bar. Dusting his rugged clothing, he proceeded down into the chairs that lined the barkeep, and with a single gesture, signaled the bartender for a flagon. He would take his time learning of this new place, as time was of no consequence to one such as himself.
Thoril Fletcher - November 19, 2006 03:59 AM (GMT)
Thoril sat in the pub, his favorite pub. Obviously, as the other one in Lomedor was filled with creeps and rogues. This one was nice. There were still many drunks and strange people, but Thoril felt much safer here. He looked around for a girl he had met here before and noticed she wasn't there, and thankfully neither was the man that was with her. Or perhaps it wasn't so good...
Thoril was kind of down, and he did not trust Lomedor as much as he should, it was where he met Devon, if that even was his name, twice. Thoril looked around at some of the people, there were girls here he could stare at all night, there were drunks who probably will swear and laugh all night, but Thoril noticed one man, who looked like he was kind of down.
Thoril studied the man, he appeared to be a vampire or something, but Thoril wasn't sure. The only thing was, Thoril's Detect Evil spell would have picked up his allignment if he were evil, and vampires were usually evil. The man had red hair and his eyes here a similar red. He was fairly tall but not giant-tall, but taller than Thoril and the other man looked even younger than Thoril.
Thoril decided his curiousity was too strong to ignore the strange man, so he decided he'd try to talk. He walked to the table that he was sitting at.
"Something wrong?" He asked.

This had been kenyaris first time back to Lómëdor in a very long time. The only thoughts he had was the battle that took place here and the lost of someone he loved in that fight. The night was cool and calm. He decided to go to the pub so that he could get a drink and relax before he had set out to continue his journey. He came upon the pub and walked in slowly. He hid away his katana so that it wouldn’t start any trouble with anyone. The place seemed calmer than he remembered but then again last time he was here the place was nearly destroyed.
He walked over to a small corner and sat down not trying to draw attention to himself. He looked around as he put his hood up so that it covered his white hair and hid his face away. He looked around the room as he looked at the man that was sitting on the other side of the room. "Is that..." he thought as he gor up and moved to a closer seat.
He took his hood off so that he could get a better view. "That’s the guild master of the syndicate of blades. I thought he was dead." he said as he looked at the man that was standing next to him. Kenyari didn’t know who he was so he didn’t concern himself too much with him as he looked back at the guild master. "What was his name." he thought to himself as he put his hood back up. "Him being back cant be too good" he thought looking at the rest of the people. None of them seemed to know who he was. Kenyari shruged as he waved at the bartender for a drink to make himself fit in more.

The night seemed to draw in more patrons, but none recognized the red-haired wanderer in the bar. He toyed with his half-empty flagon, trying to see how far he could tilt the container before the savory liquid dripped on the sturdy table. It served as his distraction for filtering his thoughts, long forgotten memories which he tried to reorder in his head. He had much catching up to do, and seeing how far he could tilt the flagon was a healthy start.
Just as his pastime was starting to drag down, a figure approached him. The figure seemed to have been eyeing him for a while, as the direction in which he traveled seemed to suggest that he was heading straight. He walked over to the hooded figure, and addressed him, "Something wrong?" The figure looked up, half-tilted container in hand, and stared at the speaker.
He was somewhat plain-looking, with blond untidy hair and a good build. His frame suggests a hardworking life, though assumptions at this point was delicate for the stranger. It had been so long since he came back, and if he stepped on the wrong foot his return would be less than friendly. This stranger seemed to have taken an initiative in approaching him, so in return he decided to put off his downward look, and reply in a plain tone.
"Nothing at the moment, just composing my thoughts. What about you? Why concern yourself with one such as myself? He had meant to start small, but with such a chance, he failed to contain himself and asked a lot of questions in quick succession.

"Nothing at the moment, just composing my thoughts. What about you? Why concern yourself with one such as myself?" The strange man asked, kind of rudely.
"No need to be rude," Thoril said, smiling. "I am merely wondering if everythings all right, I tend to care for others' well-being," He said, in answer to the man's question.
Thoril looked at the man oddly... "You're sure everything's all right?" He asked, the man looked rather depressed, and Thoril felt it wasn't right... Something was bothering the man... Thoril was sure of it... The expression on his face, the way he was playing with his glass, the man reminded him of many troubled people Thoril had met on his journies. Thoril waited for the man's answer, patiently, hoping he didn't upset the man.

"No need to be rude," the man replied, I am merely wondering if everythings all right, I tend to care for others' well-being." His face put out a smile, the impression to the figure would be something of assurance. The man after all came to him, so he must be one of those comforting types. He could be a friendly local, the type the figure could be looking for.
The man continued, with an odd look to his face, "You're sure everything's all right?" He seemed concerned for the figure, whose attitude towards the container he was playing with displayed the distress in his mind. The man was correct in that assumption, Sanzen was confused. He had troubles with his memories and with the world, both of which could be answered by this man who was speaking to him. As if responding in kind, Sanzen stopped playing with his drink, then faced the man directly. Clearing his throat a little, he breathed in a little to prepare for making a speech of sorts.
Making a waving gesture, he addressed the man in a slow but serene voice. If any apprehension was felt before, he would conceal such tension by putting on a good face, one which the man shown him earlier. "Well, you could say I have a problem of sorts." He looked around, as if wondering if other people are listening in on their conversation. He was one who did not respond well to attention, and avoided the need to be seen at all times. After panning the room twice, he continued again.
"I have... traveled far and wide, and I have been out of touch with the land lately. This feel around me seems strange, and I sat down here to make sense of what has transpired in the world. Care to lend a hand? What events has occured that would be of importance to one such as yourself?" He ended his statement by making a simple gesture, one letting the man know it was his turn to explain himself. He proceeded to become comfortable in his chair, and made arrangements to listen to what the man had to say.

(OOC:Hope you dont mind me joining...)
Lan journeyed through the streets of Lomendor trying to find the nearest building that was open. None around him seemed to be since no lights or signs of life exsisted anywhere near him. Or so he thought. About a block down the street he was roaming he saw a light on. He stopped to look at the building where the light was coming from. It was dark and quiet out in the streets and Lan needed to go sit down for a while. He had been traveling for a really long time and didnt know where he was...he'd never been here before. The vampire could sense his strength weaking as he stood there. His vision became alittle blurry and he tried to find out what the building was by the distance he was at. He couldnt buy where he was since his vision was blurry...which annoyed him a little. Lan walked up to the light and walked into the building. Opening the door and walking in he realized it was a pub but he didnt care. All he needed was a place to rest for a few hours and then he would slip away. Almost every seat appeared to be full with people of all kinds around drinking. Lan really didnt feel like staying here...he thought about going back outside...I mean he was way younger than anyone here. He must have looked very suspicous coming in. The vampire didnt care. He just looked for a place to sit down. Lan thought he recognized someone...but wasnt sure. Lan's strength was waning by the minute. He could sense it still. So he walked up to the barkeep and was about to ask the barkeeper for directions to the nearest inn. All of a sudden he fell to his knees...he couldnt stand any longer. Lan tried to stand but failed twice so remained on his knees to see if his strength would return. The pub seemed to be peaceful enough. All except a couple of people arguing near him. They didnt seem very friendly to him and one of them got up and began to walk away from the table. Lan was still alittle delirious and didnt really notice the man who was walking toward him. The young vampire was in the way of this man and he shoved Lan to the ground. "Hey...augh..." He spoke weakly as he landed on his back, crashed to the floor with a loud thud, and was caused no pain. He was a vampire pain could not afflict him. Lan just stared up at the ceiling and just laid there.
When's my strength gonna return?...I cant lay here forever! Lan thought on the floor. Im beginning to dislike this place already....
His strength would not return so soon so he remained on his back against the floor. Lan figured he looked pretty stupid laying there and wondered if anyone cared if he was okay. Probably not...so he waited to see if anyone would speak to him. Thats all he could do now was wait. Lan needed to lay down and rest but this was not the place for that.

Kenyari stood up as he saw the guild master and the other man holding a small conversation. Kenyari couldn’t really hear them so he decided to go over next to them to try to get a better spot so he could hear them. He walked over to the bar leaving behind his seat. He waved to the bartender for a drink but he knew he more than likely wouldn’t drink it.
"I have... traveled far and wide, and I have been out of touch with the land lately. This feel around me seems strange, and I sat down here to make sense of what has transpired in the world. Care to lend a hand? What events has occurred that would be of importance to one such as yourself?".. was the only thing that kenyari could hear. Kenyari thought about his question but couldn’t really think of anything that would fit him. Kenyari turned to look around the bar as he noticed the figure walking in. The figure looked very weak and is more than likely not a concern to Kenyari. Kenyari turned back to the two next to him. "nothing has really happened, but that’s from my view point." he said softly to them not trying to seem like he was eaves dropping.
Kenyari had turned back to the vampire who was next to him now. Kenyari thought he knew him from somewhere but he decided not to care. Suddenly the vampire fell to his knees. Kenyari did nothing but stand there and look at him. "Why would someone like this show up here. He can barely stand but hes going to show up where most people here don’t care" he thought to himself as he took the drink and drank some of it. Kenyari let out a small sigh as he saw that the vampire was now laying down on the floor.
"The floors are disgusting" he said to the vampire and turning from him. Kenyari was in no mood to help anyone. Especially if they couldnt help themselves. It may have been cold but kenyari was the type that if it didn’t directly effect him he wouldn’t get involved. The only reason he was with the other two here was because he knew that the guild master of the syndicate of blades was back which means they would probably be more active. He wanted information on them so he could know if they were planning anything.
