Title: Rebirth
Description: open to all
Allura - November 17, 2006 09:09 PM (GMT)
A suttle darkness had crept over the coast and the sky was blaketed out by a heavy storm, the waves seemed to grow more violent every second and spilled onto the beach washing away everything they hit, but in a solitary place the waves didn't seem to hit a tall drow stood with both eyes closed and her arm outstreached, a glowing ring of symbols enveloped the ground around her warding away the wind and the waves.
"Κύματα της αιωνιότητας, τον πετάξτε την ψυχή και reforge μου στις πυρκαγιές της θύελλας, πάρτε το σώμα μου και το καταστήστε ισχυρό, πάρτε το μυαλό μου και το κάνετε να εκταθεί τους ουρανούς, reforge στις πυρκαγιές του στοιχείου μου και με βοηθώ να κρατήσω την υπόσχεση που έκανα"
A bolt of lightning suddenly flew down from above striking the drow and enveloping her in a brilliant blue light, it expanded roundn her and vanished and the storm died along with it leaving the sky clear. The drow wasn't there anymore, instead a tall blue haired woman took her place, she was glowingn slightly but the aurs faded and she opened her eyes.
"I have been reforged," she said in a voice that echoed slightly "now I can keep my promise."
Talen - November 18, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
Padding along silently through the woods on the way to the coast, Talen couldn't help but jump in shock, landing quickly on four feet again after the sudden bolt of blue lightning had passed, which couldn't have been anything normal. Feeling that something like that must be something big, he bounded quickly off toward it, appearing in full like a large, blue-furred panther, his paws making only light thumping noises across the forest floor and then the sands of the coastline and the beach.
"I have been reforged," the sole woman that stood on the beach said, in a somewhat echoing voice. She appeared...human, though it was never good to judge on such an appearance given all the creatures that used a human form, and had long, dark blue hair and sapphire blue eyes. "Now I can keep my promise."
What she was talking about, he hadn't a clue, but nonetheless he padded silently over near where she was, looking up to her in faint curiosity, particularly if he'd get an answer to what any of these things meant, or what her reaction to him would be. Of course, in this form he probably wouldn't receive the latter...but one could always hope.
Allura - November 19, 2006 11:07 AM (GMT)
Allura could fell a new energy flowing through her, she could see that she had changed dramatically. Her skin was no longer dark and her hair was longer, softer and a different colour. Now that the storm had cleared she could hear footsteps padding behind her along the sands. She turned around looked around for anyone, she looked down and saw a large feline creature walking along the sand in her direction. She looked down at it curiousley, it was clearly animal but an intelligence glimmered within its eyes.
"I didn't expect any company," she said randomly "not that I'm ungrateful for a little of it."
Talen - November 19, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
"I didn't expect any company," the girl said, looking down at him. "Not that I'm ungrateful for a little of it."
A bit unsure what to do at this point, especially given that he couldn't exactly talk in this form without surprising someone, he sat down on the sand where he'd stood, tilting his head lightly to the side in somewhat of a gesture of curiosity. Maybe she'd pick up on the hint and say who she was, or what was with that bolt of lightning earlier. Of course, that was only a moderate possibility, but right now it was the most he could think of to do. He'd been out of his panther form for too long...
Lan - November 20, 2006 04:23 AM (GMT)
Nightfall hit the shore as the vampire walked along the beach. He'd never been here in his life and decided to check it out. Lan walked along silently waiting to see if he would see someone. He then noticed a big blue bolt of lightning and ran after it. Someone could be in trouble or hurt. If they were hurt he would try to heal them as best as he could.
Lan ran along the beachshore and saw a panther and a girl looking at each other. They both seemed to be fine but it never hurt to make sure that they were both alright. "Are you both okay?" The vampire asked. "Are you hurt? What was that, that just happened now? By the way my name is Lan. Im a vampire but I mean no harm. If your hurt I can heal you with what little heal magic that i know."
Lan looked over the cat and saw no cuts or bruises...he seemed to be fine and quite intelligent. Lan then looked at the girl and couldnt quite tell if she was hurt or not since there was a blue light radiating around her. He hoped they both were fine but wasnt sure how they would react to him being a vampire. Lan hoped that they trust him enough so they would anwser.
Allura - November 20, 2006 04:39 PM (GMT)
The panther didn't seem to reply to her statement, instead it sat down and titlted its head to one side in an almost curius manner. Allura felt slightly puzzled, its eyes gleamed with an intellegence far beyond any ordinary panther, yet it didn't seem to be able to speak. Feeling dissapointed she turned her head and looked back out to the sea, she though she heard more footsteps running along the sand, she raised her head in their direction and saw a person running towards them.
"Are you both okay? Are you hurt?" Came the cry.
Allura gazed down briefly at the panther then back up at the stranger.
What was that, that just happened now?" The person said as he came into view "By the way my name is Lan. Im a vampire but I mean no harm. If your hurt I can heal you with what little heal magic that I know."
Allura though about what to say, the story was a little far fetched for most people to believe and she doubted he was an exception.
"probably just a lightning bolt," she shrugged "passed pretty quick though, anyway I'm sure niether of us are hurt anyway, my name's..." She paused, she didn't feel like the person she used to be so evidentally she would have to go by a different name "Allura," she finished.
Well it sounds like a good enough name to me, she though and my old one seemed a little short for my liking.
She looked down at the panther expecting him to do something, it was odd for a ordinary panther to be strolling along a beach so she expected something to be different about this one.
Talen - November 20, 2006 05:24 PM (GMT)
"Are you both okay?" Talen heard a voice call out, his ears perking up to catch it better, and he looked down the coastline, spotting a boy running up to them. "Are you hurt? What was that, that just happened now? By the way my name is Lan. I'm a vampire but I mean no harm. If you're hurt I can heal you with what little heal magic that I know."
A vampire healer? That was definitely a new one, though he was a fairly good healer himself, so if anyone had been hurt here, he'd have taken care of it, regardless of his form.
"Probably just a lightning bolt," the girl replied, shrugging, and Talen glanced up at her in a somewhat suspicious manner. He knew that wasn't the truth at all, but he still didn't wish to say anything in this form at the moment. "Passed pretty quick though, anyway I'm sure niether of us are hurt anyway, my name's..." She then paused for a moment, as if thinking about what her response would be. "Allura."
Well, both of them had just stated their names, and being the polite type, Talen felt it would only be right to let them know his, so he used a method that he'd done a few times in the past when he didn't want to speak in this form. Taking one claw from one of his front paws, he wrote his name down in the sand, upside-down and backwards relative to himself so that the other two could read it normally, and almost seemed to smirk slightly when it was done, though this could hardly be noticed. And anyway, Allura seemed to have noticed something about him and had almost seemed disappointed when he didn't actually respond earlier; now she probably wouldn't be.
Lan - November 21, 2006 04:06 AM (GMT)
Lan listened to her response and thought about that for a moment. Well he had no reason not to believe her and believing her wouldn't hurt he supposed. Although he did have his own suspicions but he let them go. No use in getting in any useless arguments.
"Well, thats good that your both okay." Lan smiled relieved. He then watched the panther write his name in the sand. Not some ordinary panther for sure. "Talen. That must be your name. Well hi Talen." The vampiric mage added happily. He leaned on his staff and looked at the panther. Lan then turned to the girl who told him her name."Hi, Allura. Nice to meet you both."
Allura - November 22, 2006 06:15 PM (GMT)
"Well, thats good that your both okay." Lan said smiling.
Allura couldn't help giving a slight smirk, she noticed he was watching the panther. She turned her own head in his direction and saw him writing on the sand.
So he is intelligent, she though curious.
"Talen. That must be your name." Lan said "Well hi Talen."
Allura's eyes flicked over to him briefly before setting back on the panther.
"Hi, Allura. Nice to meet you both." Lan added.
Allura's smirk grew slightly "My pleasure," she said "I'm always grateful of company."
Talen - November 22, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
"Well, that's good that your both okay," the vampire, Lan, said, watching Talen for a moment as he wrote his name down. "Talen. That must be your name. Well hi Talen." he added cheerfully, leaning on his staff, then turned back to Allura. "Hi, Allura. Nice to meet you both."
He was definitely friendly for a vampire, that much was certain, and he could tell that he wasn't faking any of it. Definitely one of the strangest people he'd met, and he'd met quite a lot.
"My pleasure," Allura said, seeming to stare at Talen a bit much. "I'm always grateful of company."
And thus Talen was out of things he could think of to do at the moment, so he sat there calmly, looking between the two from time to time and listening to the conversation with interest, his tail brushing lightly from side to side across the sandy beach.
Lan - November 22, 2006 10:05 PM (GMT)
Lan watched the panther's tail swish from side to side. Lan turned to look at the sky and noticed looked at how the moon's rays shown on the water. It was a pretty nice sight.
"Im glad I found others." Lan replied still staring at the sight. "It was kinda lonely. I have never been here before. Its a pretty nice place."
Lan stood there and noticed something move in the water. He thought it was just a fish so he turned around paying it no mind at all. The vampire really didnt have much to say. So he waited for the others to talk.
