Description: Arriving on the beach at midnight

the prophet of doom - June 12, 2005 05:09 PM (GMT)
Arriving at the edge of the beach Alterum stood calmly with a sigh of relief. Alterum had to escape from his normal location of the cemetery as daemons scurried for him and found him at the cemetery with the intention of taking him to a dark lord this dark lord wanted to drain alterum of his powers and execute him in front of millions of daemons. With the power of alterum running throe his veins he could break free. It wasn't that alterum was special the dark lord could use any half-daemon but he wanted this one because of a prophesy that the dark lord may only raise with Alterum's power. Alterum was walking to the water as Alterum does not need to breath but half way he felt a great pain in his stomach a pain that he was very familiar with. "don't go daemon now" he thought while putting his hand on his stomach. He continued but the pain grew worse he collapsed into the sand. With his minor healing power he managed to stop the daemon form from occurring he stood up and decided instead of living no life for the next 100 or so years he'd lay down for a while and thing about what to do now until about three o'clock. He laid down on the sand with his hands behind his head breathing in the fresh air. "what have i missed out on" he thought.

Wenluume Aeros - June 12, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
Wenluume was enjoying walking along the beach; it was her second time doing it and she'd declared it her favorite thing to do. Perhaps I'll live here, she thought, I think this is where I belong. Perhaps, not forever; I'll go back to the sky, eventually.

She was slightly startled to see a man, whom she hadn't noticed before, collapse onto the beach. She wasn't quite sure what she could do to help him, but decided it best to at least ask what was wrong. She headed for where he was lying, but as she approached him her enchanted harp began to play a different song. It was dark and forboding. Wenluume cautiously approached, and stopped at his feet.
Quietly, she asked, "Are you alright, sir?"

The harp continued to play a darker song, but it eased back into the tranquil tune it usually played. Wenluume's hand, however, was still lying on the hilt of her sword, tracing the designs nervously on the pommel.

Alterum saw the women in front of him the pane faded away and so alterum go to his feet "why are you out here at night its quite dangerous." Alterum asked wondering why she was here. he then noticed the harp starting to worry alterum could feel a shiver down his back "where did you get such a magical harp" he wondered out loud.

Wenluume Aeros - June 14, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
Wenluume's hand curled around the handle of her sword at the mention of her harp. She said," I am no mortal, though I may appear to be. It was given to me at the begginning of time, and I am it's keeper.

"I am here at night,"she continued,"Because I had nothing better to do. I don't sleep." Her hand relaxed on her sword, and fell to her side. She sensed some evil in this man, but could see that it wasn't his wish, or that there was some good in him. Extending a hand for him to shake, she said, "My name is Wenluume. Might I inquire the name of the man with such a fascination in my harp?"

Alterum thought for a moment "if Wenluume is from the beginning of time then Wenluume must be important." Alterum decided to shake her hand and then said "my name is Alterum nice to meet you. Then out of curiosity asked " if you don't mind me asking are you a goddess? or some kind of being that can live quite long?" Alterum felt more relaxed now and much calmer thinking if she plans to kill me she would of done it instantly.

Wenluume Aeros - June 15, 2005 07:32 PM (GMT)
Wenluume blushed. She said, " Me, godess? No, no. I'm simply an elemental. The first air elemental, that is."

Polietly, she added," It's nice to meet you as well, Alterum."
She began to walk down the beach, beckoning for him to follow. She sat at the edge of the obsidian water, looking at the little glints of starlight and moonlight reflected on it's inky surface. Smiling, she said, " What brings you out so late?"

Alterum sat next to Wenluume while trying to think of what to say to the question. "midnight strolls down the beach, done it since i was 4." he replied. Alterum started out to the ocean the moonlight on the ocean cought his eye "400 years" he thought. "wind has always facinated me whats it like up there?
he asked as he turned to Wenluume.

Wenluume Aeros - June 15, 2005 08:27 PM (GMT)
"Amazing, " Wenluume replied, "Wonderous. I was the wind for a very long time, but I came down. I miss it; being so light, twirling, diving, weaving through the clouds. But, being the wind has drawbacks. I was lonely. I needed to experience life on the ground."
Thoughtfully, she looked out over the lake. Smiling, she said, " If you'd like I could take you flying."

the prophet of doom - June 16, 2005 04:48 PM (GMT)
Alterum thought for a while "what would it be like up there?, if i plan to go to hell memoriseing a birds-eye view of the places would be useful." Alterum stood up and decided what to answer with. "that would be great." Alterum replied.

Wenluume Aeros - June 16, 2005 07:33 PM (GMT)
Wenluume lept to her feet, and lifted herself a few feet off the ground. She took his hands in hers, and climbed into the black sky. The wind whipped through her hair, and the harp played the all too familiar song of excitement and joy, but it had undertones of worry. She'd always considered the harp to be more of a being than an item, and she was worried that it was warning her of something. Shucking away and worry, she continued their flight, and looked down at Alterum who's hands she was holding tightly. Smiling, she said, "So what do you think of this? Flying, and all?"

the prophet of doom - June 17, 2005 06:01 PM (GMT)
feeling a bit on edge as Alterum had never flown before. "pretty good i could get used to this." Alterum answered. seeing every think seemed amazing words could not describe his feelings "do you know your way around this place?" alterum asked. as he turned to Wenluume.

"Of course," Wenluume replied, laughing heartily. She smiled, and climbed above the clouds. It was amazingly cold here, but Wenluume could not feel it. The thin air made her head spin, but she remembered how land dwellers reacted to the high altitude, and went back throught the moonlit puffs of cloud. The marina lay below them, inky waves glistening with bright moonshine. She smiled, and brought them back down, gently setting Alterum on the ground, and then touching down herself. She laughed, merrily, and laid back on the warm sand. Smiling, she said," How was the view?"

Alterum had a strange feeling from the height ans so replied as he thought "i could get used to it but ill leave the air to you." he answered. he looked at the sky "1:00"
he thought. even in his human form Alterum could be harmed a little normally reduced to not having any powers for the duration of the sun being out. "so what are you normally doing anyway." he asked.

Wenluume Aeros - June 18, 2005 09:00 PM (GMT)
"Travelling," Wenluume replied, "Looking for a place to settle into. Nothing ever meshes...Nothing ever really fits, so I keep moving, looking for a home." The foamy waves sloshed up onto the soft shore, daring to touch Wenluume's slippered feet. The moonlight poured over her features, illuminating her with an ethereal glow. She sighed, softly, and smiled. You'll find your nook one day, she told herself mentally, Everybody has to. Turning to Alterum, she inquired, "What do you do?"

the prophet of doom - June 23, 2005 03:18 PM (GMT)
Alterum was thinking of a way to answer... "i just move around trying to educate myself with magic and stuff nothing interesting." he replied what he replied with was partly true. "i find the air very fascinating i always wanted to be able to walk on air." he said truthfully.

Wenluume Aeros - June 23, 2005 07:34 PM (GMT)
"Walking on air," Wenluume said, thoughtfully. She thought about it. Learning to walk on air wasn't easy, but she could certainly teach someone how. A light breeze played with her hair, and the harp played a strangely encouraging tone. You're telling me to teach him, aren't you? she thought, glancing at the enchanted harp. After mulling it over, she said, "I could teach you, but you must understand, it wouldn't be easy. I'm not sure I even know where to begin...It would take a while, as well."

the prophet of doom - June 24, 2005 06:26 PM (GMT)
"i am in know hurry.... there is a place i wish to go to "hell" but i am to inexperienced and dont think i should chance it.." Alterum said starting to be truthful. Alterum could hear people searching for him. Alterum turned to Wenluume"ill have to go soon." he said.
