Title: New Deity Positions Open
Ita the Reckless - November 6, 2006 04:16 AM (GMT)
Due to character inactivity, three new deity positions have been opened and are ready to be applied for. These include the Guardian of Stars, Guardian of Shadows and God of Light positions. Along with this, the Arda staff is proud to announce that positions for gods can now be applied for in this topic as long as you meet the prerequisites stated there. These include the gods of Time and Light, who, like all the other gods and goddesses, will also become global moderators. I would also like to remind you that there are still positions open for guardians along with these new spots, so feel free to apply. If you have any questions relating to the newly opened positions, feel free to post them in this topic or the Help forum. ^_^

One word: :w00t:
Oh, and everyone applying needs to make sure they *super carefully* read the application requirements and instructions! And I guess I can tack on that activity is also a big factor, so you can strengthen your applications by RPing frequently, being online every day, that kind of thing.

Hmm...maybe I should apply for God of Light... *considers*
Raikenza - November 7, 2006 01:06 AM (GMT)
...Ya could resign from being a guardian, and try for the God Of Light position, but it carries that whole risk of you not getting your position back after resignation.

I doubt though that resigning from a previous position like guardianship in order to apply for "godsmanship" (rofl new word there) would actually work out well. For one, your dedication to your position would likely be questioned since the admins might get the impression that you have an indecisive mentality.

Well, good luck to the applicants for the new positions.
Lance - November 7, 2006 09:27 PM (GMT)
Bah...I'd apply for Guardian of Shadows with Lance here (I mean heck, he's literally made of shadows) but it requires an evil alignment, which I don't think he's going to go toward in terms of gaining an actual alignment...oh well.
Sanzen - November 8, 2006 11:02 AM (GMT)
Well this would certainly bring back those who want to be active again...
Well best of luck to the applicants...
*goes off to start activity again, and renew applications for different positions...*

*caugh* charicter development *caugh*
Obsidian Nocturne - November 10, 2006 09:13 AM (GMT)
ya can always try for another position, Lance, if that would suit your character's alignment better ;) --- orrrr you can go for certain rp topics that may lead to an alignment change as Samarin here suggests :D

Remember, you don't have to completely morph your character just so you can apply for a position though.

In fact, the applications ask that you not change a character just to suit a position.
