Ugh, this is so nasty...
Well, at least the warm temperature felt good to her. However, the bugs were starting to annoy her. The only thing that kept her somewhat safe from their vicious attacks was the worn-out cloak she wore to obscure the red wings on her back.
How I ended up here, the world may never know...
Lifting a hand, Rinoa tucked a strand of her red hair behind an ear, grey eyes obscured briefly as fair-complexed eyelids fell before them before relifting to allow the seers to gaze about once more.
This woman was literally all red. The only non-red thing was her eyes and the black that accompanied the red on her outfit. Well, and the brown cloak, but not that it really mattered; it was a simple accesory she used to obscure her wings. Why she obscured them? Not even she knew, for she had long since come to adore them, but for some reason she's always kept them hidden.
The hood of her cloak lay loosely behind her head, she having become irritated by it long before. This forest had grown annoying as well long past, but she sadly lost track of where she was, and with no mind of escapement, she was stuck here for a while, she knew.
Medea cursed under her breath as her foot got caught in yet another tree root. She would consider herself pretty good at maneuvering around things, but this place was just impossible. She untangled her foot, leaning against a tree for a moment. Her hand darted out, slapping a mosquito that had tried to bite her.
The demon girl sighed. After she and her brother had separated, she had been getting into a lot more scrapes, although she wouldn't admit that to him.
She looked around, trying to figure out where on Arda she was, but she couldn't even use the sun to figure out where she was headed, since the thick canopy of trees obscured her view. She continued to creep forward stealthily (or as stealthily as she could manage) before she came across something. A girl was standing in a clearing, dressed all in red.
Even her hair was red, noted Medea, watching her. Since the Rauko was adept at moving silently, she wasn't noticed. Finally, Medea decided to reveal herself. She walked out from behind the tree, creeping up behind the girl.
"You wouldn't happen to know how to get out of here, would you?" she asked.
Exploring the rainforest had not been such a great idea.
The weather, for one was hot and buggy. Webs and nets of humidity clung to one's skin and clothes as they walked by. Bugs were another factor that constantly thrummed in dizzy circles. Sen was surprised they never puked. And the heat was stifling, it made the half core feel a bit tired.
His traveling cloak was getting tangled in the occasion bramble or branch that stuck out too far. His boots were caked with mud. Perspiration marked his face. But besides that, and the fact that he was lost, Sen was in a rather cheerful mood.
The sound of a faraway voice drifted through the air to his ears. A woman, it sounded like. Brushing himself off a bit, the man made his way toward the voice, hoping that whoever it was would be able to help him out.
