Kanako didn't know why she had gone this far in her walking, but she was now glad that she had once she got into the forest. The sun was shining down on her and there was a nice breeze which kept things from getting too hot. Though, she admitted, she was starting to get hot in her long robes. She wore long robes that were dyed a deep purple, an odd looking mixture of colours for one to have as their traveling clothes. Underneath them she had a brown shirt and brown short jeans, which covered most of her upper and lower body.
As she came across a particually deep stream she decided to go for a swim, since she was getting hot and the weather was perfect for it. She abandoned her robes, letting them hang on a nearby tree, and jumped in, going all the way underwater for a few seconds before coming to the surface. Kanako had a huge smile on her face and she rested her head on the bank and kept her body in the water, enjoying the sun on her face and the water on her body. Her long, ankle-length black hair was rushing around her, grey eyes shutting as the sun gave her tan body even more of a tan.
As she lay there Kanako couldn't help but think of her family. Her sister, Arika, and her brother Devin. She had no clue where they where and this was especially troubling because of how young her brother was. He was only seven, a half-dragon, and he was on his own somewhere. Her sister Arika was nineteen and a half-demon so Kanako knew she would be fine wherever she was. It was weird that all three of them had different fathers but the same mother, but it never bothered Kanako.
Sighing in bliss she went underwater again, having fun even though she was by herself.
Dariel had also been on a walk through the forest but for a reason. He was searching for a place to set up camp for the night for he was running low on money and could no longer afford most inns. He had been searching through the trees all day when he had heard splashes from a nearby river. He did not want any trouble but this person may be able to help me is it was a person at all for there was many animals living in the forest that would go for a swim. When he neared the river he noticed a young girl swimming in the river. Not wanting to be rude he waited until she was back on the surface to say anything.
"Young girl may I ask what are you doing here, besides swimming of course, and if you may help me in my search for a sutible place to rest for the night and make camp."
By now he had emerged completly from the underbrush fully showing his body. He then shook his fur so that some of the sweat droplets that had accumulated there would be shooken off with great success for he had always kept his fur clean and smooth even in the wilderness.
"Oh! I was just.." She turned around, very surprised to see someone else there with her. His race didn't seem to bother her at all, she was just surprised she didn't hear him coming up to her.
"I was just walking but then I got hot. But.. sure, I'll help you." Giving the sun a second to dry her off before putting on her robes again, grabbing her staff and walking up to him.
"I saw a little bit of an open field west to here. Do you think that would be alright?" Looking at him nervously, still unsure of meeting new people.
"Yes that would probably be fine," he said giving the closest to a smile he could muster for it was very diffucult with a beak.
"So may I ask you your name?"
He had felt her uneasiness around him so he wanted to be polite as possible and try to be kind to her. He knew it could be hard to meet new people sometimes. Escpeccially when they were ot your species and besides that a species you had never seen being able to speak. Well then it could turn out to be a very strange day. But, everyday could almost be a strange day just by the choices you made. If he had not ccome over here to explore he would of still been searching and probably would not of found anything until very late. And the less work he had to do the better for that meant there was more time for prayer.
"Yes, my name is Kanako. Kanako Musada. It's nice to meet you..what's your name?" Walking side by side with him, guiding him to the area she had seen earlier. Usually Kanako just slept in trees but maybe this man would let her camp with him. She loved laying in open fields and looking at the stars but because of enemies she usually climbed very tall trees, looking at the stars through the leaves.
But Kanako had to admit this journey had been very fun and rejuvenating. Going to all these different places and meeting all kinds of people. Sometimes she forgot her true goal, getting caught up in various situations with other people.
