Title: Family...
Description: [P] Meria Family Only [P]
Zenith Meria - October 15, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
Back in the Sanctuary of the Angels of the angels was stood a young angel wrapped in a large white cloak. The angel was looking onto a large area where only trees now stood. Looking onto them the voice of the angel soon passed his lips as he said, "To think. My home once stood here. Alba what have you done to our family. You killed everyone, our father... mother... even our sister. How could you. Alba im sorry brother, but I must stop you. I must make you pay for what you have done. I will avenge them all." Thats when the angel lowered his hood.
Long brown hair flowing lightly in the wind as he looked out to the trees, the angels name was Zenith Meria and he mainly only came to the Sanctuary of the Angels to see this exact spot, nothing more. Ever since the day his family had been slain by his own brother and the people of this city only looked on as the house burned down Zenith had found it hard to trust other angels. Infact, he just found it rather hard to trust.
Zenith then let out a small sigh as his hand lowered down to the Holy Blade that had once been his fathers that now lay by his side. The young angel of only nineteen had been through so much in his life and had come out as a powerfull warrior of Holiness who served both the Goddess of Life, and the God of Light. Zenith had also joined a group known as the Keepers of the Sacred Deep that help save the light within Arda. It was now Zeniths job to rid the world of Evil, and finally get the darkness to give up its fight, althought this would be a battle that could indeed last beyond his life.
Zenith was broken from his thoughts as he heard a sound drawing closer, he didnt want to react to soon to something that may not be a threat so instead the young angel just slightly moved his hands under his cloak grabbing the hilts of his Holy Blade, Salvation, and his Blade of Balance, Judgement. If the cause of this noise did mean harm to Zenith then he would be ready, if not then the angel would only have to release his grip. He just hoped it was not someone that would know who he was, or want to talk about the Meria family.
Rinoa Meria - October 15, 2006 02:10 AM (GMT)
The person indeed wished to speak about the Meria family.
Perhaps because she belonged to the family line that was mentioned?
Perhaps.
Groaning, Rinoa pushed back the hood of the cloak she wore atop her shoulders, the clak itself doing a poor job of obscuring her appearance. One look at her would make you think of one thing: fire, fire, and fire. She wore so much red...even her hair was coloured red! The roots, however, were much darker, almost black, but still undoubtfully red.
On her back, however, her cloak did a great job obscuring the red wings that were borne on her back at birth. Well, her first birth. This was the second time she had been born, and she looked completely different than she had the first time. She was much more red, when the first time she had looked more like an actual human, bearing brown hair. However, everything changes.
Standing still, Rinoa narrowed her eyelids over her misty grey eyes as she gazed past her red hair as it was blown into her face. She saw a familiar figure ahead...but it was the kind of familiarity that told you that you knew the person a long time ago. Cocking an eyebrow, legs pushed forth, leading the woman closer to the other.
The wings gave way to her thoughts, telling her that he was an angel. She too was an angel, but only a quarter. Thus the reason she had wings. Otherwise, she doubted she would have had the wings she had come to adore now.
Coming to a soft halt, lips parted quietly before words passed through.
"Excuse me?"
Zenith Meria - October 15, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
Slowly Zenith felt the winds pick up and seen out of the corner of his eye someone coming into view, a young looking woman both dressed in red with red hair also. The young angel steadily tightened his grip around the hilts of his blades as he seen the woman unsure of who she was, are what she in turn wanted from him. The angel had trouble with trust, and that was not going to pass by so easy for him.
The stranger then started to walk towards Zenith, he had a strange feeling about her like that knew each somehow, but at the same he knew that he had never seen her before in his life. It was all very strange and Zenith did not know what to do, yet the angel slowly let the grip on his blades ease off as he turned to fully face the woman once hearing her speak.
Zenith tilted his head to the side a little before saying to the woman in reply to her, "Yes Miss? How may I help you?" He could not help but say that, once becoming member of the Keepers Zenith had been taught to help those in need, and after all this woman was asking him something so it was only nice to reply, wasnt it?
As Zenith awaited on the womans reply his eyes began to scan the area in which they stood, taking in his placing incase something was to happen. For some reason he had the feeling an evil that he knew well was going to show up on this day, and Zenith had to be ready for that happening again.
Rinoa Meria - October 15, 2006 02:49 AM (GMT)
A soft frown graced her lips then, and her eyes softened ever-so-slightly. He looked so familiar...it was starting to bug her. Perhaps she should ask him his name and if he recognized her? She had been in this form for a long while, as she had died a long time ago. Perhaps he had met her in this form? The only way he could've known her before she had died was if he was her family.
But hadn't they all died?
Well, as far as she knew, they did. All but her two brothers, if she remembered correctly.
But he couldn't possibly be one of her brother's, could he?!
"Oh..." Rinoa said softly when she heard him speak, the words ringing in her ears, echoing softly as they slowly processed. "How may you help me..." she repeated before her eyes left his to gaze about the scene. "This place seems very familiar to me. Is it the same for you?" she asked, looking back to him.
Miss...I dislike that word "My name's Rinoa," she said simply without much of an explanation. Her lips kept that soft frown for a brief second before it was replaced with a smile, its softness remaining. Her hair was still blowing into her face, contrasting brightly with her fair complexed face. Eyelids blinked over her soft eyes before they reopened, allowing the mysterious seers to gaze upon the other once more, awaiting a responce.
Zenith Meria - October 15, 2006 04:45 AM (GMT)
Zeniths eyes fell onto the woman once more as he heard her speaking to him, It turned out this woman also knew this place that they both stood at. Zenith then managed to also get her name before he replied to this Rinoa. The only Rinoa Zenith had ever known in his life was of his older sister whom Alba had slain all those ago with the rest of the angels family.
Zenith then let out a very small sigh before he said, "Yes I know this place well. My family home use to rest upon these grounds infact. Until someone killed them all, the worst thing is, the person that had killed them all was my older brother Alba. Oh... sorry, My name is Zenith, Zenith Meria. Its nice to meet you Rinoa, I like that name alot." Once more the young angel then awaited on the reply from the woman, still the strange feeling ran through his mind that in some he knew her closely.
As Zenith awaited on the womans reply he began to remember that night all those years ago, the screams of the family members, the smell of the smoke, the heat of the raging flames. It felt as though the angel was again back at that moment. He could see the figure of the young human looking Alba with the family dark blade in hand slaying Zeniths father before turning his sights onto Zenith himself. That had been the first day Zenith had used the Holy Blade, and he still had it by his side to this very day. Only now when he battled with Alba the battle was of course much more intense.
Both brothers had many spells to use in battle, and Zenith had gotten a full set of Armour by the Goddess of Life while Alba now wore the Bloodshed Armour given to him by the Goddess of Chaos. And as for the weapons, Zenith only liked to use his Holy Blade against Alba, while Alba still used his dark blade, although he now had the blade reforged into a large Scythe. Suddently the young angel felt a buring over his heart, this had always been a warning that Alba was coming, although sometimes it would happen for no reason at all.
Moving on from the pain around his now buring chest, and also trying to make it look like he was in no pain, Zeniths eyes went back to Rinoa once more. The angel was sure he had never seen this woman before in his life, but the fact that her name was Rinoa made Zenith think a little, But it couldnt be, this could not be his sister before him. She had died, Zenith had been told he was the only one to live. The was one thing Zenith had never been able to take in fully, the fact that Alba had also killed his twin, yes twin sister that night... but why? There were so many question that had to be answered, but Zenith did not have those answer.
Rinoa Meria - October 15, 2006 06:12 PM (GMT)
Rinoa listened quietly and carefully to his words, listening to how he knew this place and what role it played in his life, and also his name. His name...He had the same name her younger brother had...and he had also said her twin brother's name, and mentioned him in the same sense the whole incident she remembered had occured. Could he possibly be...?
"S-Same here..." Rinoa said softly, "if that makes any sense...I had died, though, so it makes everything seem like a blur...However, I know I had two brothers that went by the names of Zenith and Alba as well...Strange coincidence, eh?" she asked him with a soft laugh. Lifting a hand, Rinoa tucked a couple strands of her bright red hair behind an ear before bringing her cloak tighter around her. She didn't want him to see her wings; she adored them, but she knew they gave away her danerous nature. Well, her demon side, to be honest.
"Oh...Thank you," she said to his compliment. "I like my name as well. And it's nice to meet you as well," she said, smiling softly at him, her eyes still on his face.
Zenith Meria - October 15, 2006 06:24 PM (GMT)
Zenith was taken back somewhat when the woman known as Rinoa told him about herself. She said she had died, and come back? To most that would sound crazy, but then it hit Zenith. His older sister was the twin of Alba, meaning should would be part Phoenix as well, and as Zenith knew well people with Phoenix blood were able to come back once being killed. With all this in his mind Zenith walked closer to the woman looking into her eyes. Her next words seemed to pass through the ears of Zenith without him ever knowing it.
Zeniths eyes began to glimmer somewhat as the tears began to build up, Zenith then said to Rinoa, "Is... is it really you? Rinoa... My sister, Is that you?" The eyes of Zenith seemed filled with pure hope now as he looked onto the figure that could infact be the new form his older sister had taken. If it was then Zenith had found one of the people he loved most in life, one of the people that took care of him as a child, yes before Alba had snapped both himself and Rinoa always looked after Zenith.
The young angel awaited on the reply from the woman, his wings slowly spreading out in the air as he began to say to himself, "Rinoa, My sister... please let me have found, please let this be you my sister. I need to see you again, I dont want to be alone anymore." Zenith then closed his eyes for a moment before opening then once more, still fixed upon those of Rinoa awaiting her reply, a small single tear running down the right cheek of Zenith.
Rinoa Meria - October 15, 2006 11:07 PM (GMT)
Rinoa remained rooted to the spot where she stood while Zenith stepped closer to her, their eyes locked as Rinoa tried to read what he was doing. However, she wasn't a mind reader, so her attempts ended up futile, and she was left to wait for his words of reason.
Listening quietly, Rinoa's soft smile grew a little bit at his words, and she nodded. "If you're still the same Zenith, then yes, it is me," she said quietly, her red hair being blown into her face once again. The cloak was being blown to the side as well, but she kept a strong grip on it to make sure it still concealed the wings on her back.
Seeing the tear run down his cheek, Rinoa lifted her empty hand and stroked his cheek with her thumb, wiping the tear away. "Please, don't cry. I've never liked it when you cried," she said, still smiling softly, her words still so quiet, almost a whisper.
