Title: Pit's Grasslands Exploration
Description: ~OPEN RP~

Pit - October 3, 2006 11:08 PM (GMT)
It was a bright and sunny day, the birds chirped, and you could hear the running water in the nearby meddows, it was very early, and Pit was making it to the border of the grasslands. He was on a mission set by the Great Archangels, he was to check on the wildlife of the grasslands, to make sure order and balance was set in effect. Pit finally made it to the grasslands, and already noticed that there was no problem with the insects, there was alot there. He moved on, making sure to rememeber all the sights, he had a week to make sure that everything was in proper order. He could check of insects, but he had to check the rest of the grasslands, he went to a meadow nearby, and the river was rich and full of life, fish of many colors were swimming. He needed a place to sit down and write his results for the day. He went and how a place with four trees, and tied a one end of a blanket to one tree, and the other side to another, and layed down with his clipboard, and wrote all about what he saw and made a picture of each. He packed up his clipboard, and ate some fish he had found from the meadow. He packed up his notebook and Angra Quill and rested, for he wanted to wake up early to continue his research. He finally went to sleep after the birds stopped chirping, and the sounds of the meadow nolled him into a long sleep.

Adya - October 3, 2006 11:27 PM (GMT)
Adya strolled slowly across the grassland, relishing the day. It was quiet and peaceful, just the way she liked things. As she walked, she approached an area with four trees and as she moved closer, she saw there was a stranger lying in a make-shift hammock. Adya stopped a short way from the stranger and watched him for a minute. Normally she would have passed by without another thought but this stranger had appeared to be a celestial, not a sight she had seen before. Curious as to whether waking him would be rude or not, eventually she decided to simply sit and wait. Making herself comfortable on the ground at the base of one of the trees, Adya pulled out a book and began to read, curious to see when this stranger would wake and nervous as to how he would feel about her being there.

(I hope you don't mind if I join)

Pit - October 4, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
*Archa Archa ARRRRRRRRRR*, the sound of the rooster waked up GPit, it was morning finally, it was cloudy today, but it did not look as if it was going to rain, so Geno packed his stuff, and went strait to the spot where he had heard the rooster, he could copy down the roosters data for his natures balance report. He started walking, and he heard a sitchy noise behind him, "must be hearing things," he said to himself. He saw the rooster and noticed there was flocks of them, so he got his bow and arrow and shot one, it would make a great dinner. He flew up and looked around for more animal life, but couldn't find nothing sticking out, he wanted to get some research on ferrets so he hid next to a ferret burrow and waited for one to come out. Yet again, Pit heard a noise as if something was following him, but he turned around, and nothing was there. "Something strange is going on around here," he said to himself.

{{its fine, you can join, its an open RP}}

Adya - October 4, 2006 09:35 PM (GMT)
Adya woke suddenly to the sound of the rooster. When had she fallen asleep? The sky was cloudy but it was definatley morning. The book she had been reading lay open in her lap and she quietly closed it and put it back with her few belongings. With a yawn, she stretched and shrugged off the last feelings of sleep. Looking around her, she remembered the celestial with a start and tried to find him. Looking back at where he had been, she could see he was already headed off towards the sound of the rooster. Adya looked about for something to get his attention but short of throwing a rock at him, she found nothing. Seeing he was already moving farther away, she began following him, trying to keep up. He looked back once or twice but Adya was slow and small and he didn't seem to see her among the grasses. Finally he stopped near some sort of burrow and Adya ran the small stretch of distance between them. She stopped to his right and sat with a heavy plop beside him. Breathing deeply, Adya looked up at him and waved, smiling in a wide grin.

(I didn't think roosters roamed the wild..)

Pit - October 4, 2006 11:50 PM (GMT)
Geno was still next to the burrow and he heard something again, so for the last time he turned around....... *AHHHHHHHHHHH* Geno was surprised to find a lady behind him, she was breathing hard, and staring him in the eye, and he was very nervous. Geno started to fly up, and flew away far away from the lady, he was scared, the woman looked like some kind of assassin. He landed in a big patch of grass hidden from all animals. He put his hand on his chest, and felt his heart pumping.

Adya - October 5, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
Adya's smile faded and her eyes widened she he flew from her. She opened her mouth and wished futiley for voice to stop him but she had nothing. She sat there for a moment at a loss, her hand curled into a fist. He would not escape from her that easily. At first she had only followed him out of curiosity but she would not allow such rudness to go unchallenged. Checking that her belongings were secured tightly, Adya ran in the direction he had flown. She was noisy and not as fast as some but she was determined. How dare he? What had she done to him other then follow? If she had meant him harm, would she have shown herself? Damn he had flown far away. Desite her resolve, she eventually had to stop and rest. Leaning over, with her hands rested against her thighs, she paused and looked around, panting heavily. There was no way to even tell she had gone the right direction. Frustrated, she punched a tree at her side, causing a few squirrels to chitter angrily at her.

(sorry for any typos. I kept getting distracted during re-reading and then I just got lazy ^_^; )

Pit - October 5, 2006 01:34 AM (GMT)
Pit took his hand off his heart and breathed deeply, then calmed down. He rested for about 45 seconds, and got back up, he looked around out of the big patch of grass, but he couldn't seen anything, so he flew as high as he cold to see where the girl was. He got good and high, then looked down, and saw her taking a rest. He could not let himself be killed, especially by a dark assassin. He hovered in one spot using his wings, and pulled out an arrow. He pulled back the bowstring with his arrow, and aimed at her heart. Pit then shot his arrow, at the same time a gust of wind blew, and he missed. "Dangit!" He went out of the area, and waited for his next chance.

Adya - October 5, 2006 11:55 AM (GMT)
Adya's eyes widened as she turned to see the arrow fall to the ground. She stared at it, her heart beating loudly in her ear. He shot at her? He...he shot at her... Her mind slowly worked its way out of her dumbfounded state and she unsecured her staff to hold t in her hands. Some celestial this man was turning out to be, attacking random travelers. Perhaps the look of a celestial was a disguise? Whatever the reason for his actions, Adya was going to have to be a little more careful. She held the staff in front of her and listened to the sounds of the forest for some sign of his presence. If he had returned to try and kill her once, chances are he would again. She wondered if he knew hand signals. If he did, there was still some chance of explaining who she was to him, assuming of course that he wasn’t just evil in disguise or something. Other wise, she would probably have to find some way to beat him just enough that he couldn’t attack her any more. That, or run like hell.

Pit - October 5, 2006 04:35 PM (GMT)
As time passed little by little, Pit became ruthless, he could not die here, and if tha girl was an assassin, who had hired her to kill him. This little mission from the sanctuary turned out to be a kill-fest. Pit pulled another arrow from his quiver, and pulled it to his bow, and went out of the grass in which he hid in and flew up once again. When he made it up to the sky, there was no sign of the woman. She was gone, as it seemed. Geno went down to the area near his hammock. He would have to abort the mission, so he started packin his things quickly. He had to be hastey, otherwise the lady assassin might come back.

Rowan - October 5, 2006 05:06 PM (GMT)
A young Aelfie walked through the forest, her hair matted from running she had finally decided to reappear and unmerdge from the wind. She had nodded her head and thanked the wind as it dropped her off in an unknown world.

She pushed her hair behind her once again and walked silently, she placed one hand on the trunk of a tree and felt its pulse. She smiled and stroked the bark thanking it for the news and continued walking down through the forest. She began to feel she was lost and soon turned the corner once again. Comming face to face with a Celestial. "Ahh." she said suddenly backing up against the tree behind her. Her hand pressed firmly agaist the trunk in fear. Though the tree told her she was safe she did not calm down. Celestials were said to be able to see any aelfie even when they were merged with nature. She had to think of a plan to get out of there.

Pit - October 5, 2006 05:37 PM (GMT)
Pit was packing his things as fast as he could, he kept looked over the ground to make sure he didn't leave anything, but suddenly, he heard something behind him, he took an arrow out of his quiver, and turned directly around to be looking at a lady Aelfie. She let out a scream, "Ahh." he put down his arrow, because hen noticed this wasn't the same lady he had saw before. Pit looked at the lady and noticed she was very in tune with nature, he could feel it pulsing from her. "What is your name?" he asked. He waited for her to speak.

Adya - October 5, 2006 09:12 PM (GMT)
Adya looked up at the sound of voices. Could he really be this close? And there was the sound of another as well. Taking care to move as quietly as possible, Adya walked toward the sound of the voices. Perhaps there would be a chance to find out why he had shot at her and explain why she had followed him. She had managed to remain mostly quiet dispite the grass and she came to a halt as soon as she caught sight of the celestial. He was still a good distance away so chances were he hadn't heard her. She paused and took amoment to study the scene before her. What was he doing talking to that tree? And where had that other sound come from? Adya could have sworn it was a voice. Maybe the tree....but no, trees didn't talk. She eyed the tree suspiciously and then cast a nervous glance at the celestial's back. She gripped the staff in her hands and took a breath before running at the celestial. Hopefully he was completely distracted by his...tree.

Pit - October 5, 2006 09:36 PM (GMT)
While Pit was waiting for the girl to answer, he suddenly felt the pulse of something hastely comercing towards him, he pulled his arrow to his bow and turned directly around and shot his arrow. Suddenly, the pulse stopped. He went over to the direction where the pulse of energy was. The girl that he had saw earlier was laying down on the ground, with an arrow in her leg, and a staff at her hand. he could of easily been killed by her if the head Archangel had not taught his the alertness feat, he would have never felt the pulse coming. She had not lost much blood, so he knew she would live. "I'll agree to heal you, if you answer my questions first," he looked at her with a leer, and waited for her answer.

{{OOC: Adya, never charge at someone, or something that has an "Alertness" feat, just a little hint, because I don't want anyone to kill you, got it?}}

Adya - October 5, 2006 10:10 PM (GMT)
Adya swore mentally and pushed herself into a sitting position. Th arrow wound didn't look too bad but it hurt like hell and was going to need to be healed. She knew how to do minor healing but she wasn't sure how serious the wound was. Gritting her teeth, she pulled the staff up so her weight rested on it and used it along with her uninjured leg to stand. She was still wobbley and he was taller then her but at least now she could stand mostly at eye level. Her pride was a bit wounded and she was loath to accept any help from this man who thought he had the right to tell her what to do. Still, it kept him from attacking her and during the time it took him to try and get answers from a mute, she could come up with a better plan. Unable to find any other way to acknowledge that she would accept his deal, she looked him in the eyes and nodded. Her hands clenched tightly on the staff and she hoped he undertood the nod.

Pit - October 5, 2006 11:10 PM (GMT)
Pit was still looking at the woman, she looked at her leg, and then used her staff, and her un-wounded leg to get up, then she nodded at it. Pit was very curious of which why she was nodding. He thought for a second and had a lift of inspiration. He thought she might be a person that cannot, or a mute as some call it. He went to his pack, and pulled out his clipboard and pen. He sat it on the ground, then he used minor healing on her leg. He then gave her the pen and paper, and asked her once again, "What's your name?" Pit stood there, and waited for her to react. Pit noticed that the Aelfie was still there.

{{OOC: sorry about the geno posts, I'll get them removed}}

Adya - October 5, 2006 11:21 PM (GMT)
Allowing him to see to the leg, she sat back down and lifted the pen. After writing out "Adya" on the paper, she decided to take advantage of the opportuinity to ask a question of her own. "Why were you talking to the tree?" She wasn't sure how many questions he was palnning to ask so she kept it short. She notice him glance back at the tree, as iff to see if something was still there, and she looked as well. Perhaps there was something she was missing about the tree. It looked relativley normal, if a bit...odly shaped.

(lol, no problem)

Pit - October 5, 2006 11:32 PM (GMT)
When the woman was done writing, she handed Pit the paper, and he read it. It said, "Adya," and right below it, it said, "Why were you talking to a tree?" Geno then old her about the silent Aelfie behind him, he then told her about how only holy celestials can only see her. Pit, gave her tje paper and pen to keep. "I'm sorry for suspecting you were an assassin, and mullet you, you just really scared the hell out of me," Pit looked at his stuff on the ground, and fixed up his hammock. "Adya, if you want to, you can stay with me, and help me do my exploration for the time being, whatdya say?" Pit waited to see if she would right.

Rowan - October 6, 2006 07:08 PM (GMT)
Rowan was about to answer when a girl came and he immedately turned his attention to her. Still camoflaged with the tree she remained silent not sure if the woman who came was among those who were after her. "I'm sorry for suspecting you were an assassin, and mullet you, you just really scared the hell out of me," Rowan decided that it was a good idea that the woman was not harmfull and so she pushed away from the tree revealing herself. She smiled at the girl who the man called Adya.

Rowan walked over and sat near the angel and the girl with the pad of paper. "I appologise for hiding like that, I guess the rumors are true that angels can see an Aelfie. I am Rowan. I thought you might be after me, there were some people earlier who were trying to attack me so I ran." she said looking down at the rocks below her feet.

Adya - October 8, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
Adya raised an eyebrow. What a curious man she had met. All she did was follow and he thought her an assassin, yet merely writing her name was enough to prove her innocent. Not that he had spent much time evaluating the situation before attacking her. Who was she to judge though? She had charged at him rather foolishly. She considered his offer but decided it was too early in her journey to get side tracked with other goals. There was still much she had to learn on her own. When the strange woman who had only moments ago been hidden spoke, Adya shifted her attention. In all her reading, Adya had never come across mention of one such as this woman. Aelfie she had been called? The woman, Rowan, sounded kind, if a bit shy. Adya returned her smile with one of her own. She took the pen and paper up again. "You're safe now." Smiling again, she handed the paper to Rowan.

Annuk - October 10, 2006 01:14 AM (GMT)
About a week ago, Annuk decided he would abandon Bob, his current host, and look for some fresh, younger blood. On his world-wide trek, Annuk passed through the Salquedor Grasslands and saw a group of many beings having a pleasant introductory conversation. Immediately, Annuk saw an opertunity. Annuk decided he would have some fun.

Annuk went into the nearest bear he could find. "Oh boy, is this going to be fun" Annuk, now in the form of a possessed bear thought to himself. Annuk then started darting towards the camp he had spotted earlier with the adventurers.
