Title: Falling to the Shadows of Darkness

Sarce Livial - October 2, 2006 05:33 PM (GMT)
Loneliness and misery was slowly encumbering his soul and mind, causing pain and suffering as each slow footstep that he took forced further into the pool of swirling darkness that he was attached to. The Light that protected him from falling to this pool was slowly fading with the thoughts that enticed dark energy and a depressive aura. The loneliness that filled his soul was growing greater in strength and he longed for the Light to burn brightly again.

It was not as though he hated the darkness and energy that it brought but he loved life, he longed for hope and faith to leak into his soul, bringing a new life to him. He wanted the darkness and corruption to fill the most of his soul yet he longed to find new hope and faith in this world that was seemingly enveloped and lost in the darkness. He wondered who would free him?

He flew around the small houses, casting dark shadows over the village and striking fear and shock into those that glimpsed the dark figure that swooped and swirled across the lands, searching for visions of Light and Balance within the lands yet every day, he found none. Yet still he searched each day, diverting his eyes left and right to search for hope and faith in a single person.

As he sat perched upon the large rooftop of the tavern, the people of the village rushed away in fear of him as he flicked his eyes at each and every one of those who came close to the tavern. The aura of darkness radiated from his body, seeping into those that dared to come close to the tavern and he longed for the person he needed to come. The loneliness would soon end. He knew it.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 2, 2006 06:28 PM (GMT)
Kiara snuck from house to house, playing herusual tricks. Placing a stink bug here, putting a buckt of water above this door. she found though that a lot of people didnt care, they seemed scared.
"Well what a unfun town this is!" She said to herself, pulling her cloak around her. She walked out into the street, the people to bolivious to pay much attention to her. Thats when she saw the dark figure, perched ontop of the tavern.
she grinned from ear to ear. These people she always got a good reaction from.
she ducked into an alleyway, sneaking up behind the tavern so as not to be seen. She grabbed a water skin and filled it up to bursting and slung it over her shoulder, then climbed up the side of the tavern, digging her claws in to gain purchase.
She got up on the roof, moving quitly. She poked several holes in the skin with her claws and stood up, cocked her arm back, and threw the skin hard at the figure, the skin bursting on him, soaking him with water.
"Hey!" she yelled with a grin, "Darky!"

Sarce Livial - October 2, 2006 06:47 PM (GMT)
The presence of mischief and Light was close by. He could feel it. He searched the streets, looking for the presence. He knew that the source would emanate an aura of Light that would be visible to him, yet he saw none. He sat perched upon the rooftop, laughing as the mortals fled in fear of him. There was no need to be afraid. He was simply lonely.

As he waited quietly, he felt the presence draw ever closer and he quickly stood up to search for the source. As he rose, he felt a water skin hit him in the back and a loud voice scream at him. The water was cold and made him shiver as he shivered in anger at the person. He turned towards the person.

He looked at the woman. She was not like other mere mortals. This was a woman who had skills and powers. She was a half-dragon. Her hands were scaled like a fish and her fingernails were claws. He was angry at the woman yet he knew that this woman was the source of Light. It had come.

He felt the presence yet the swirling twister of darkness and emotion that was building inside of him was quickly building the temptation to lunge at the woman. His face was dark and depressed, not even a smile was shown by him and any soul would've thought that he had just seen a horrific crime or death.

"What is it that you want with me?" Sarce said in an angry tone.

He didn't mean to be rude and angry yet the dark aura that possessed his soul was leaking into his mind and thoughts, causing him to slowly rise in anger and pain. He tried to control it but the power was too great. He knew he couldn't resist. The darkness consumed him and he suddenly began to shout.

"Who are you to disturb me? You have acted foolishly and you will pay for your actions! I am the Fallen Angel and the actions that you have taken against me will be remembered. Forget not your memories, for they will haunt you forever!" Sarce said in rapid succession.

The aggression and darkness slowly eased as the anger had dissipated from his words. He felt drawn back and weak by the sudden twister that had consumed both his soul and mind. The Light in his soul slowly fading. He needed to connect with this woman else he would be lost to the darkness forever.

"I apologise. I have fallen to the Darkness. Help me...please." Sarce said before falling slowly onto the ground below, causing mortals to scream and quiver as he landed painfully and fell unconscious.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 2, 2006 07:13 PM (GMT)
"What is it that you want with me?" the dark man said rather angrily.
Kiara put on a mock annoyed tone, "Well, I'm sorry I bothered you mister darkness."
She then stuck her tongue out at the man. This guy was full of it, he really was. She giggled a little at him.
"Who are you to disturb me? You have acted foolishly and you will pay for your actions! I am the Fallen Angel and the actions that you have taken against me will be remembered. Forget not your memories, for they will haunt you forever!" the man said, this time he seemed even angrier.
Kiara stood up straight and puffed out her chest in a proud manner and said, "I am Kiara Lenaya, Rogue Extroadinare." and then gave a great sweeping bow.
she then let her smile slip a bit when the man suddenly changed from dark and mean, to rather needing and sad.
She raised an eyebrow. Whats up with this guy? She thought to herself.
"I apologise. I have fallen to the Darkness. Help me...please." the man said rather weakly, and before Kiara could get closer he fell from his spot and off of the roof, scattering people below. Kiara went to the edge and looked down at him. He had been knocked unconsious.
"Ok, this guys is deffintily in need of some attention." she said to herself.
she jumped down to the ground, landing near him. Cloak had flown up though and her claws and scales only intensified the situation sending everyone present into thier homs or the tavern, leaving the street deserted. She dragged him into an ally and gave him some water, which he didnt drink so she just splashed it on his head.
"Wake up! Im not good with this whole dying thing!" she yelled at him, poking him in the shoulder with a claw.

Sarce Livial - October 2, 2006 08:09 PM (GMT)
He could feel his body slowly being dragged away from the area, the scaled hands slowly seeping life into his body with the Light that he had searched for. He had heard but a few words, including her name. He felt weak and insecure, failing to accept the drink that was offered to him. Instead, the woman threw the water at him in an unusual manner.

He heard a few mumbles and he could see that this woman was full of character and energy. As he sat on his back, he studied his surroundings. He felt uncomfortable being watched to those who had decided to watch the scene before their eyes. He wanted to return to his home and wanted to speak to the woman at the same time.

"Thank you...for your kindness. I have longed for a....person...so full of character and energy. I wish to travel to my home and speak to you...are you willing to travel with me using the Planes?" Sarce said quietly, struggling to let the words escape.

His energy was weak and the darkness was slowly regenerating but he knew that travelling using the Planes would not be difficult. He had done it many times and he knew how to travel with companions. He would simply have to find an open space. Compact spaces didn't seem to work well with the dimensions.

He slowly stood up and brushed himself down. His energy was returning to him and he started to beat his wings to regain the feeling in them. He twisted and turned his limbs, trying to regain feeling in them. As he felt his energy return, he could feel the dark aura return to him and he felt pleased that he was still connected to the energy.

He quickly looked around the area before walking towards the market of the village, the most open place that he would be able to travel to without using his wings. As his cloak blew in the wind and his footsteps lurched forward, the mortals ran from him in fear and Sarce waited for the woman to follow him...

Kiara_Lenaya - October 2, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
The man seemed to be recovering quickly from his fall, albeit wet. She was beginning to feel a tad uneasy. He seemed to be nice now for some reason. He looked at her and said, "Thank you...for your kindness. I have longed for a....person...so full of character and energy. I wish to travel to my home and speak to you...are you willing to travel with me using the Planes?"
His words were quite and weak but audible. she still didnt understand.
"What are planes?" she asked, cocking her head.
then he started to stand up and stretched his wings. Kiara reflexivly took a step back to give some room. Then he just left. He headed out of the alley and towards the market. He more lurched than walked, but he still left. she pouted. Then she saw him stop and look back.
"Oh..I am supposed to follow! Ok!" She said, and quickly ran after him, her toe cloes clicking on the rocks of the street.

Sarce Livial - October 2, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
The woman was slow to react to the gesture that he had demonstrated. He was expecting her to follow instantly, yet she began to ask questions and thus he stopped and looked at her with purpose, using his body language to tell her to follow. She realised that this was so and soon came on her away to follow him.

"You ask about the planes. The planes are different dimensions which can be used for means of transportation though the knowledge to whom it is known is far and wide. It can often cause problems if someone attempts to use the planes for other purposes other than transportation and there have been cases where there are those who have no knowledge of the planes have travelled in this form." Sarce said in a monotonous tone.

He could see that the woman was perplexed as to why he was asking with kindness and mannerly language whereas the previous experience had demonstrated that he was bitter and enveloped in darkness. He would answer her thoughts for her to stop her from asking so soon. He wanted to get to his home quickly.

"You must understand that Darkness and Light are entwined with another, without one, the other cannot exist. This is true for my soul, I have a proportion of my soul which is filled with Light whereas the rest is Darkness. I cannot control the actions of my Darkness however I am enclined to use the Light in order to control myself and therefore, I am polite and well-mannered. Does this answer your thoughts?" Sarce asked in a polite tone.

As he entered the market with the woman trailing behind him, those who looked upon him fled in fear and he was soon alone in the open space. It would be perfect for the inter-dimensional travel that he would need to return to his home. He waited to see if the woman had any further questions...

Kiara_Lenaya - October 2, 2006 10:14 PM (GMT)
Kiara followed the man while he talked. He sounded pretty nice and smart for what she listened to before her mind drifted. A rock had caught her attention and she was kicking it along the ground. She then noticed the man had stopped talking and looked up.
"Ok, understood." she said, hoping that could answer whatever he last said.
"So whats your name anyways?" she asked, looking around at the people fleeing the market.
"I see you make friends easily." she said with a grin.

Sarce Livial - October 3, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
As the woman nodded in agreement that she understood both in the formation of words and body language, Sarce could see that the woman had drifted into a state of fantasia and he knew that she hadn't really been paying attention. He looked at the fleeing people again, wondering why they were afraid of him.

"So whats your name anyways?"

The woman had asked in a polite manner, yet he wondered whether he should tell her his name. Introductions and such could pose problems later on but he knew that this woman was kind-hearted and had an excitable character within her. He doubted that she would flee or cause him pain unless it was necessary.

"My name is Sarce Livial. I am a Fallen Angel from the Temple of Light, attached to the aura of darkness by this cloak." Sarce said a little more than he had expected though it was nothing too important.

Sarce looked around and felt the cold and bitter winds drawing towards the village, he wanted to travel to his home quickly. He thrust his cloak back and his eyes burnt brightly as he did so.

"I see you make friends easily."

The words were painful to Sarce yet he knew that it was the truth. He knew that the mortals of this world fled from the darkness and powerful energy that he emanated. His appearance and aura struck fear into the hearts and minds of the places that he visited.

"These people? Friends? I cannot imagine these people even wanting to talk to me, let alone establish a friendship with me. Loneliess slowly leaks into my soul each day. We must leave now. Take my hand and I will complete the transportation from this place to my home."

Kiara_Lenaya - October 3, 2006 07:39 PM (GMT)
"My name is Sarce Livial. I am a Fallen Angel from the Temple of Light, attached to the aura of darkness by this cloak." Scarce said.
Kiara blinked.
"Scarce, the Fallen..from a Temple....with a cloak of darkness? Wait..did the cloak of darkness make you fall off the temple? Or did you fall of the temple chaseing after the cloak?" Kiara asked, obviously perplexed. She was not exactly what some would call deep.
She watched the people run off with a giggle. Humans looked so funny when they were scared.
"These people? Friends? I cannot imagine these people even wanting to talk to me, let alone establish a friendship with me. Loneliess slowly leaks into my soul each day. We must leave now. Take my hand and I will complete the transportation from this place to my home." Scarce then said, replieing to her earlier question.
Kiara took his hand, swinging it back and forth.
"So, wheres the date to?" she asked, sticking out her tongue.

Sarce Livial - October 3, 2006 08:20 PM (GMT)
As the woman asked about his ill fortune upon his descent onto this world from the Temple of Light, Sarce realised that he would have to explain his past in greater detail than he had done. He needed to first travel to his home to collect food and supplies for his later travels.

"So, wheres the date to?"

Such mischief and comic sense in her actions. Sarce seemed to be slowly realising this woman was lightening his heart, though the darkness was slowly building inside of him and he knew that if he did not travel to his home, his energy and aggression would be released onto the world.

"There is no time to explain our travel. The Darkness is building inside of me and if I do not feed soon, I will unleash the Darkness onto the world. Do not release your grip from my hand else you will be relinquished to a parallel dimension. I do not know the exact details. Hold tight!" Sarce shouted, feeling the aggression building.

He rushed at a seemingly empty space and his body was consumed by a rip in the dimensions, and Sarce and the woman were transferred into the inter-dimensional port.

As quickly as Sarce and the woman had entered the portal, the ending had come. They both landed in tumble close to a large building covered in dark aura and objects. Sarce quickly rushed up and entered the building. He knelt down in front of an altar and began to pray.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 3, 2006 09:13 PM (GMT)
The man seemed to be in a rush. He was obviously frantic about something.
"There is no time to explain our travel. The Darkness is building inside of me and if I do not feed soon, I will unleash the Darkness onto the world. Do not release your grip from my hand else you will be relinquished to a parallel dimension. I do not know the exact details. Hold tight!" he said, and before, she could say anything she was yanked with him through what looked like a hole in the air.
"Ah!" she yelped as she was tugged through.
Suddenly she was tumbling on the ground with the man, who immediatly jumped up and ran into a house.
Kiara got up rather shaken, swaying a bit. She snatched up her hat and placed it back on her head, shaking her head as she did so.
"Well." She said with a grin, "That was fun! Lets do it again!"

Sarce Livial - October 4, 2006 06:19 AM (GMT)
Sarce muttered words of prayer to the altar as the Darkness slowly relinquished the grip on his soul and the aggression and emotion that was so powerful was slowly settling. He continued to pray yet wondered about the woman. He would speak to her once he was done with his prayer.

God Of Darkness,
My soul is bound to you,
Lost in this world, lonely and hurt,
I fall to you for comfort and ease,
Yet still I find nothing but energy and power,
But still I will thank you for the power I have.

In times of this loneliness and hurt within me,
I'll scream and surrender to the greatness of you,
Loathing and hating, I grow stronger in you,
And with every day, I feel even darker.

Sarce finished his prayer and stood up, the dark energy emanating powerful rays of black aura. His soul was filled with the darkness yet he was free because of the prayer. It has released his soul until the next time. There was always a next time.

He walked towards the woman who was brushing herself off and placing her rather ridiculous hat back onto her head. She was giggling and seemed to find travel by the Planes quite fun. He walked over to her and looked into her eyes. Such beauty in those eyes, Sarce thought to himself.

"Come, we must go inside. The outdoors is not safe during these times." Sarce said and grabbed her hand in a beckoning gesture.

As Sarce held her hand, he tingled with an emotion that he had never felt. He waited slowly for her yet he couldn't help but look back at her and look at her beauty. She was beautiful. Sarce quickly tried to discard the thoughts, she was nothing to him yet still he was constantly thinking of her.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 4, 2006 12:05 PM (GMT)
Kiara listened to the man pray. When he came out he seemed different.
"Come, we must go inside. The outdoors is not safe during these times." he said. She looked around. It indeed was getting dark, and decided he had the best idea.
She took off her hand as he grabbed her hand.
"You seem to enjoy grabbing my hand eh?" She said with a giggle.
This man seemed to be very fun. He was so serious.
Kiara headed into the house with Scarce.
"So. Whats out there thats so bad?" she asked, wandering around the main room, looking at things.

Sarce Livial - October 4, 2006 08:15 PM (GMT)
Sarce was constantly watching the skies, waiting for the darkness to enter this realm, spreading depression and misery in it's wake. He could see the dark clouds in the distance, rolling towards his home with maximum velocity. The rain had yet to begin to fall but Sarce knew that it would come.

"You seem to enjoy grabbing my hand eh?"

The words were almost comical to Sarce. He had foudn lightness and humour within them yet his mind was set onto the coming darkness. He was wary of the storms that would come and wanted to enter the house quickly. He couldn't help, however, but look at her beauty.

"Such light-hearted words. I wish that my words had such tone and humour within them. However, I cannot and my gesture was not intentionally. There is purpose behind it that is far greater than that of a relationship or friendship." Sarce said in a mannerly tone.

He was growing impatient, the twisting clouds of darkness were looming closer and his soul was slowly drawing in the energy. His house was a small form of protection against the darkness that constantly travelled across the realm and daunted over his home.

"So. Whats out there thats so bad?"

"A storm is travelling across this realm. It is the Darkness. It comes in the form of storms and rain, constantly forcing me to flee from the lands in fear. This house is protection from the Darkness and I wanted you to be with me. Do not ask why." Sarce said, knowing there was bound to be some form of interrogation.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 5, 2006 03:50 AM (GMT)
Kiara nodded, adjusting her hat.
"Ok, so you want me to stay and keep you company." She said.
She looked around the house. It seemed to have a lot of religous parafinalia.
She looked up after a minute and asked with a grin and a wink, "So, do you have anything to eat or drink, or do you want to sit and die of hunger and thirst?"
She hung her hat on a thing near the door, she didnt know what it was but, it worked, and placed her swords against the wall, then found a chair and sat down, making herself comfortable.
"So, what makes you such a gloomy person anyways?"

Sarce Livial - October 5, 2006 06:44 AM (GMT)
"Ok, so you want me to stay and keep you company."

Once again, the Light that fillled her soul was shown in her words and Sarce felt happy knowing that she had agreed to enter his home. This was the first woman, even the first person to enter his home voluntarily and a smile attempted to break from the constant gloomy face that Sarce demonstrated.

"I would rather that you were safe from the Darkness. That is my purpose but company could be a factor. I would not know, for you are the first that has entered my home." Sarce said in a grave manner.

As Sarce wandered the room, he could see that the woman was looking at his property. Most of this property was protection of some form, helping him to link with the Light in his soul yet there were few objects that had sentimental value. These objects were locked in a large chest towards the left of the room.

"So, do you have anything to eat or drink, or do you want to sit and die of hunger and thirst?"

"I need not drink nor eat, though I doubt that you are the same. What would you like?" Sarce said.

The woman was settling in his home comfortable, searching the room for different things and slouching on a chair. Sarce simply wandered the room, trying to reorganise the objects in a fashionable manner. He failed miserably. Instead, Sarce decided to grab a chair and settle himself down, bracing himself for the question that he had to answer.

[I]"So, what makes you such a gloomy person anyways?"[/B]

"As you well know, I am a Fallen Angel. I have been cast from the Temple of Light unto this world of Darkness, corruption and misery. I feel no joy for I am lost in this world, alone and suffering in silence. I cannot smile nor can I laugh, for the Light in my heart is blocked by the Darkness. I long to be free yet I cannot escape." Sarce respectfully said.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 5, 2006 07:23 PM (GMT)
Kiara raised an eyebrow.
"Why cant you escape you escape? From what ive seen, darkness is a thought or fear...not exactly something that can harm you." She said.
She sat comfortably on a coushoined chair, her legs crossed.
The man seemed kinda gloomy, and she didnt like that, it really was no fun. Especially since he didnt have anything to eat.
"So, how does something that doesnt exactly...do anything hurt you?" she asked.

Sarce Livial - October 5, 2006 08:13 PM (GMT)

"Why cant you escape you escape? From what ive seen, darkness is a thought or fear...not exactly something that can harm you."

The words that she spoke seemed deep and meaningful yet there was a lack of truth behind them. He knew what true Darkness was, his body was Darkness. His soul and his mind were filled with the Darkness yet so many had not experienced the true power of the Darkness.

"Escape. Such a small word yet to accomplish the task, so much is needed. Darkness is no thought nor fear. Darkness is a world, an aura and an energy. My soul and mind is filled with the Darkness, the storm that comes is the Darkness. There is the God of Darkness who dominates those who have fallen to the elusive prospects that he offers, yet in truth, he can only offer eternal misery and suffering." Sarce paused in his speech.

"The Darkness can do more than is ever imagined. It lives in the soul and infests the mind. It lives off my misery and suffering and grows ever stronger in my heart. I cannot escape without the help of another." Sarce looked at her in an expectant manner.

Once again, Sarce looked around the room, searching for something that wasn't there. His mind was distracted yet his eyes constantly drifted back to the woman, as though he were transfixed onto her beauty, lingering onto her eyes and trying to find something that he couldn't see her.

"So, how does something that doesnt exactly...do anything hurt you?"

"Such a question. It is not what it is that hurts me but what it tells me that hurts me. It fills my mind with thoughts of depression and misery, it fills my soul with suffering and hatred. I cannot escape my mind and my soul is constant in it's workings. "

Kiara_Lenaya - October 6, 2006 12:47 AM (GMT)
Kiara listened to Scarce. The man was obviously getting depressed. Kiara grinned, mainly because she had no idea what she was doing and it was the only option open to her.
She then looked around the room, and out of the corner of her eye saw Scarce keep looking back at her.
Oh great...I hope he hasnt fallen for me. That would be awkward. She thought.
Instead of saying this, she said, "Well, you know. It could be part of this whole religous scheme you have going here. Put up some flowers and colorful bright things. This place looks so boring and dour." She pouted. It really did. Men really had no idea of whats nice. She didnt either but she didnt let herself think on that.

Sarce Livial - October 9, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
As Sarce looked at the woman, he noticed that the woman had looked at him with eye contact, though it had ended quickly. He walked towards the altar and drew a chair from the back of the altar. It was small and uncomfortable, but Sarce had few possessions that were not in a religious context.

He dragged the chair across the room, causing the room to vibrate in a loud manner. He placed the chair close to the woman and settled himself into the chair but it was rather uncomfortable and he quickly started fidgetting with impatience. His wings were uncomfortable in his back and Sarce wanted to free them.

"Well, you know. It could be part of this whole religous scheme you have going here. Put up some flowers and colorful bright things. This place looks so boring and dour."

Sarce laughed. Colour? Flowers? He couldn't imagine the room in a bright and light form. His house was a temple. It was a temple ordaining the God of Darkness and his soul would become dark and collapse in the energy and aura that composes his soul and mind.

"Without the objects that are so bleak and dark, I would die. The darkness and religious objects keep me alive. I have but one need, the need to worship the God of Darkness. Without this, my soul will become dead and my body will become uninhabitated."

Sarce once again settled into the chair. He slouched but felt uncomfortable. He took his black cloak off and spread his wings. His body felt relaxed and he felt calmer and controlled. The dark energy was slowly fading and his aura was less powerful as he sat in the presence of a light being.

"I believe that the darkness that possesses this home is rather unsuitable for a figure such as yourself. Would you care to travel across these lands?" Sarce asked politely.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 11, 2006 03:40 AM (GMT)
Kiara grinned.
"Oh! Another ride?" she asked excitedly.
She was almost jumping up from her seat. To tell the truth, she mostly just wanted to get out of here. It was dark, and it was boring, and it smelled funny. The man seemed to be cheering, except for the talk about the worshipping of some darkness, but besides that he was livening up.
"Lets go!" She said.

Sarce Livial - October 14, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
Excitement had clearly filled the spirit and soul of the woman as Sarce had mentioned the words that explained he wished to leave the place that he called his home and to travel to different lands. He looked around the room, studying the crude and bland objects that filled the room and he realised that his home was not even a home, it was a temple.

"Oh! Another ride?"

"Indeed. We are to travel across these lands using the method which brought us here. We shall travel to a place that I have been to so many times and I feel that it would inspire you and brighten both your own soul and my own." Sarce said politely.

He grabbed his cloak and threw it over his body, his wings sliding through the slits at the back as it draped over his legs. He was ready to travel to his place of Light. He looked around the room once more and beckoned the woman to follow him. He opened the door and walked out into the dark and serene landscape that surrounded the building.

"As you know, you must take care not to let go off my arm when we are travelling through the Planes. Take my arm and do just as you did before. Walk where I walk and do not stray." Sarce said.

He walked into the open space that was seemingly blank but Sarce knew it was a portal. A Plane to further lands. He could feel the woman's grip tighten once again as they travelled through the dimensions and back into the original dimension, though at a different place.

As they both slipped through the hole that beckoned, Sarce tumbled to the floor again and twisted the fumble into an acrobatic roll that allow him back onto his feet. He stood up and brushed the dirt from his cloak and looked around. He was here. The beautiful scenic landscape that settled upon the horizon. The bright orange sun that was setting in the distance. The cliff that they both stood upon to look at such an awe-inspiring sight. He was back. Sarce turned to the woman.

"What you have experienced is not reality. You have entered my mind and you have seen the parallel world that is within my brain. The portal was not a dimension to another land, it was simply a subconscious hypnosis that allowed for you to connect with my mind." Sarce said.

Sarce looked at the landscape again. This was reality. He did not have a home. He did not have a temple which ordained the God of Darkness. He was alone in this world and he would be forever. This was his life. He had Fallen. Fallen to the Shadows of Darkness.

"What you see before your eyes is reality. If you would care to look into the distance, the Village of Estolad. If you would like for me to take you there, I would be willing though it will be our departure. I have Fallen and I must leave." Sarce said, holding back the sorrow that was slowly building within his bright eyes.

Kiara_Lenaya - October 23, 2006 07:43 PM (GMT)
Kiara rolled onto the ground as she came out of the portal. More for fun and dramatic effect than for any real reason. She giggled a bit as she stood up, but stopped when she saw the mans face. He didnt seem to be having fun.
She listened to him explain where they were, and really didnt understand.
She cocked her head to the side and said, "But if I'm in your head, and thats reality out there....then cant you just walk to reality? I mean, I know you like his whole falling thing, but what if you kinda just...I dunno, decided to stand back up, and just stop falling? fight the power!" she said, with a grin at the phrase common workers used to try and incite rebelion.

Sarce Livial - October 24, 2006 08:47 PM (GMT)
It was almost surreal, the complexities involved in such an explanation as to the true extent of the inter-planar dimensions and the travelling between these dimensions was too great even for Sarce to comprehend and he understood how it difficult it was to grasp the concept of reality and fantasy. He needed to offer his final statement before leaving.

"But if I'm in your head, and thats reality out there....then cant you just walk to reality? I mean, I know you like his whole falling thing, but what if you kinda just...I dunno, decided to stand back up, and just stop falling? fight the power!"

The humorous statements that she made were almost laughable, if it were not for the sorrow that came with goodbyes. She failed to understand his explanation and it was understandable. He wouldn’t explain anymore, he would simply say his goodbyes and leave.

“Kiara, listen to me. This is reality, we are standing in reality. The form that we just travelled was nothing more than a creation of my mind to allow us to return to reality. I cannot explain it and I will not try. I wish you well in your travels and I hope that we meet again. Goodbye.”

Sarce took her hand and kissed it. As he released her hand, his wings thrust outwards and he rushed towards the edge of the cliff and jumped, his wings quickly beating in a uplifting motion, moving him to a place that he did not know. Where he would fall he did not know, who he would meet he did not know but he would miss Kiara, if that emotion were possible for a Fallen Angel.

Kiara was about to say something, as she always did have something to say, when the man said goodbye.
She blushed when he kissed her hand, something shed never really expected of anyone or thing, it was a surprise. Then he just ran to the ledge and jumped off. She was about to follow when she realized she didnt have the wings.
"Well. He seemed nice." she said.
Then looking back and forth along the cliff she pouted.
"Why couldnt I have been born with wings." she said.
she looked over the edge.
"Long way down....well....I guess I should start..." she said and with that she jumped down to a ledge and commenced climbing and jumping from ledge to ledge, heading for the ground....
