Breathlessly sighing Angel walked across the sand carefully looking for anyone who would see her. Proceeding with caution she smiled as she reached the edge of the water. It was like old times when her elven father used to play with her. But now her past was gone. Her life was gone. She was just a stupid ghost. A lifeless person with a wisp of heart and her slim body a transparent thing. Smelling the freshness of the water she moved quickly as she could see her gray lifeless legs dip in the water. It was her home. If only I could touch the water or even be alive. . . . she thought miserably remembering how she died.
Angel sniffed. It was hard adjusting as a ghost. But at least it wasn't as bad as dying and not being here. She looked up to the sky. Peaceful. It gave Angel a sense of horror. How or why did she chose this path? As she saw it, she felt a teardrop on her cheek. Am I dead? Am I living? Or am I a freak?
The crab ran accross Seth's opened palm. The gentle tickle of the claws pushed against his hands, leaving small marks over the skin. A strange colour for a crab, I wonder what it is... Carefully, he placed his hand down into a small pool of salt water, allowing the crab to scurry off among the seaweed. In moments it was gone. I wish I could be like that crab, scurry off and escape for a while. Seth looked up at the open sky - slithers of blue, echoed by a growing clouds of grey. It's going to rain soon... I doubt i'll reach anywhere be nightfall. Better start looking for shelter.
He walked along the beach, looking out for a cave or overhanging rock. After nearly an hour of searching, he gave up and headed back along the golden sand, glinting neatly in the dusk light. He began to jog to the waves, a few yards in front. Picking up a pebble, he waded a little way through the freezing water - seaweed swishing round his ankles. Launching the stone, which flew for nearly 30 metres before coming down, he turned and sprinted back to the beachline. The fresh sea air washed around him, filling his nostrils with the salty smell.
As evening became apparant, Seth stopped and sat, rain beginning to patter gently onto him. He sat there for nearly an hour, until he noticed a slight change in the air next to him. He turned - to see a slight transition. He stood up, then jumped back. There was someone there.
Angel sighed once again as a tear went down her cheek. Still upset, she still breathed gently as the waves crashed on her legs. As she felt a drop of rain on her shoulder she heard people running across running for shelter. Of course it was far away from the city but those people didn't care. They wanted just to be dry. Angel snickered a bit. Hah. I'll get dry and they won't. Pity me. . . she thought rudely grinning. Angel was getting more cheered up. She was happy so far. The rain cheered her up.
Grinning a bit she looked towards the shore. A piece of paper, litter flew towards the ocean. Terrible as it was Angel hated littering. Littering was a sin. A huge sin. But Angel noticed that the small piece of floating paper kept moving on and on and on. It was no stopping the breezeof the waves with the rain. What a beautiful site. And a beautiful breeze. It's paradise hear/ she thought peacefully to herself. But as she kept looking at shore she saw sometime. A man. A man was walking up to the shore. Angel couldn't quite tell if he was aiming for her. She sighed. What better left undone gets done she thought thinking she didn't want to be getting caught.
