Title: An Island Journey...

Geno The Defiled - October 1, 2006 07:18 PM (GMT)
Geno was flying through the vast ocean, he had been flying for about 12 hours straight, he was very tired, and fatiqued. He needed to find the island soon. He went further and further, and saw a layout of land, it was the island his grandpa told him about when he was little, Haudhiaur Island, it looked close yet it was so far away. He did not know if he could make it. He flew for another 2 hours making it 14 straight hours that he had flown, his vision was fading, the land was close, he was there. Suddenly his fatigue made him faint. People watched him as he fell to the sandy shore. Everyone there was terrified. Geno layed there, as if he were dead, his mind faded....

Sarce Livial - October 1, 2006 08:13 PM (GMT)
He had felt an honourable presence settle into the golden sands that surrounded this cursed island. Sarce had been watching the island from the dark mountains that were positioned in the centre of the island. His wings were slowly beating in rhythmn to his breathing and he quickly rose towards the presence and perched upon a treetop to view the figure.

He had no clue as to how the figure had travelled to this island, he could see no means of transportation but he could feel the sense of magic within the figure's soul. A sorcerer. Sarce had been perched upon the treetop for several moments and realised that the figure had not moved. Even though his soul was corrupt, he still had a sense of justice.

He swooped towards the figure and picked him up with his arms. He swiftly turned towards the mountains as the people below him watched in awe as the Fallen Angel offered his service to the man. As the treetops slowly beckoned below him, he thrust upwards and slowed his pace to enter the cave that had become his home.

The cave was nothing special. It had the essential of a bed and such yet Sarce had found comfort in the solitude that it had brought and the beautiful scenery that entered his eyes as he looked outwards towards the ocean on a lonely night. Sarce entered the cave and slowly placed the man onto the bed. He refused to do little more than to slowly place the covers over his cold and still body.

Sarce wondered who this man was. Did he have a purpose to travelling to this island? It seemed strange that a sorcerer to travel such distance with no purpose. He would ask him as he awoke but for now, Sarce sat on the edge of the cave, watching the sun slowly beckon towards the west of the ocean, with the water glistening as rays of sunlight bounced of it's surface. When he awoke, he would begin his questioning.

Geno The Defiled - October 1, 2006 08:21 PM (GMT)
[I][SIZE=1]"Hello?, where am I, what are you doing?" *AHHHHHH* Geno awoke from his somehat nightmare, his body ached all over, he was in a bed, and it was completely dark, he suddenly remmebered he was flying to the island, but he couldn't remember how he got there. "Hello, is anyone there?" Geno heard a strange voice say, "Your awake." Geno heard something, but he could not see anything, he moved toawrd an opening in the area he was in, he then saw a fallen angel sitting at the edge. Geno then walked towards the figure, and called out, "Who are you," Geno waited there, very cold, and still for a reply.

Sarce Livial - October 1, 2006 08:31 PM (GMT)
The man had awoke in a startled way. He had clearly struggled with his dreams and was sweating with perspiration. His body was shaking and he looked confused. All this from but a few words. The man walked towards Sarce but Sarce wanted him to stay away.

"I beg of you, do not come to me. I am a Fallen Angel from the Temple of Light. I would tell you my name, but that could pose problems. I ask of you to slowly place yourself back onto the bed." Sarce said in a polite and casual manner.

Sarce wanted the man to feel comfortable and protected. He knew that the man would struggle to control his emotions without the knowledge that he was under the protection of a former Guardian. Sarce still sat in the same position, never moving his body nor his eyes towards the man. He waited for the footsteps to walk away from him. They never came.

"Please, I beg of you. You are still quite tired and you are weak. I do not wish to harm you. I wanted to protect you. The people of this island are savage and brutal. If you would only sit back onto the bed, I will speak to you in more detail." Sarce said once again in a polite manner though frustration was slowly leaking into his tone.

The temptation to murder the man was powerful yet Sarce controlled his urges. This man needed to be protected and Sarce committed himself not to harm the man. If he broke this promise, he would fall deeper into the pit of darkness that had a powerful leash bound onto his soul. Sarce waited for a response or the sound of footsteps walking away from him.

Geno The Defiled - October 1, 2006 08:40 PM (GMT)
Geno came closer to the man, but the man began to speak, he said for Geno not to come closer. Geno stepped one more step foward, but went back and layed on the bed, he could see a little bit better now, but he was very weary, as Geno layed there on the bed, he turned and looked at the man, and asked the man a question, "what am I doing here, Geno was feeling very sick, as if he was about to vomit, he reached in his pack for some medicine, and picked out a bottle, it was a nausea remedy, Geno took 2 tsp.'s of it, and started to feel a little bit better, he longed to know why and how he got in this cave, he knew the man would know the answer to his questions.

Sarce Livial - October 1, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
Sarce heard the footsteps slowly fading towards the bed and he felt relief knowing that the man had followed his command. He did not wish to feel rude or impolite but Sarce did not want the savages that lived on this island to realise that the Fallen Angel was protecting the man.

"Very good. You have questions and I will answer them in due time." Sarce said.

He stood up and his wings spread across the width of the cave entrance and he shivered as the poweful northernly winds blew towards the cave and rustled his cloak. He turned towards the man and looked at him as the man placed some medicine into his mouth. The man looked weak and weary but the medicine had offered a temporary state of reality and sense to the man.

"You have been offered a place in this place that I call my home for one reason only; it is to protect you from a brutal and horrific death. You ponder about my name, it is Sarce. In time, I will offer my surname but for now, Sarce will do." He said and paused.
"You wonder why a Fallen Angel has decided to protect you. It is because I still have a true sense of justice and my soul is not entirely corrupt and enveloped in darkness, though I am attached by my soul to the God of Darkness." Sarce told the man.

He walked towards the bed and crouched onto his knees at the bedside and looked into the man's eyes. He wondered who he was, what he was doing here but Sarce realised that this man would need rest and he would have more time to speak later.

"I want you to rest. The medicine that you took will wear off in time. We will speak when you awake from your rest." Sarce said before slowly standing up and looking out towards the ocean.

Geno The Defiled - October 1, 2006 08:58 PM (GMT)
The formally introduced man named Sarce, told Geno his questions would be answered in time, and that he needed to rest, Geno turned over, and breathed deeply, and then fell into a most relaxing slumber, the medicine he had taken warmed his body, Geno had wonderous dreams of the stories his grandpa had told him. About 4 hours later, Geno woke up, His wings were cramped being inside of him too long, he took of his wing-guard, and and his wings shot straight out, "much better," he said to himself, Geno sat on the bed, and looked at the man, he was still there as if he did not move 1 inch the whole time Geno slept.

Sarce Livial - October 2, 2006 06:42 AM (GMT)
The man had awoken in a simple manner and his dreams did not involve darkness nor did they involve suffering. Sarce could see the man rising slowly up from the bed to look at Sarce and as the man did so, wings were unleashed from his back. That was how he came to this island, Sarce thought to himself. There was one question answered. He had but a few.

"I am glad to see that you have awoken. If you would care to look to your left, there is a warm cup of apple tea which should be drunk immediatly. You may ask your questions before I ask mine." Sarce said, demonstrating politeness in his tone.

Sarce knew that many of the questions would involve Sarce's decision to protect the man and the reasoning behind all this, though Sarce knew that there would be some questions that he could not answer. Only the man could answer those questions and it would take time to do that. Time and patience.

Sarce rose quietly and flustered his black wings. The black energy that enveloped his soul emanated from his body and his eyes flickered a burning flame within his eyes. As quickly as the darkness had escaped, it was gone and he returned to a real state.

"Please, ask your questions." Sarce said as he paced around the room.

Sarce often paced the room whilst he was alone, pondering over unanswered questions and searching for answers that could not be found. His body emanated darkness and corruption as he did so, but the loneliness that often filled his soul had been filled temporarily and the darkness was not as black.

Telsar - October 3, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
Telsar rode the wind currents ahead of a storm. His great wings flapped once then twice, slowly. His firey red eyes scanned the horizon. It had been a long day and he was getting hungery. Then, in the distance he saw a large island.
Perfect.
He gave a couple great flaps of his wings to get under control, and began descending. he caught the scent of prey in the wind as he got close to the beach and saw a few locals. Rain began to fall as he hit the beach, the locals looking up stunned. His roar reverberated out into the ocean as he bit down onto a man. The rest of them ran screaming from the beach and Telsar did not feel like running after them, one was enough for him, and he quickly gulped down the man.
A flash of lightning streaked and when it was gone, only a man in a dark cloak remained, sword barely visible under the cloak, his eyes burning as if a fire was lit within them.
He strode up the beach and into the forest, looking for a place to bed down for the night. As he neared the mountain on the island, he saw a cave opening.
That will do for a night.
He strode into it, only to find it occupied by two others. his face remained a emotionless mask as he nodded his head in greetings, his hand imperceptivly placed onto the hilt of his blade.

Sarce Livial - October 3, 2006 06:46 AM (GMT)
As Sarce sat quietly in the cave, waiting patiently for the man to ask questions, as he knew the man would, a dark presence was drifting into the island. Powerful and energetic, this dark presence was longing for something. As the presence drew ever closer, Sarce became cautious and felt a mortal die in a very instant. There was danger ahead.

Still, Sarce sat in patience. He waited for the presence to enter this place, as he knew it would. This was the only form of shelter for those of a dark energy. His cloak shielded the scimitar from sight and as the presence finally entered the cave, Sarce turned to look at the figure. A tall Angel was stood before his eyes, dark in it's aura and was enveloped in an eternal darkness.

As the figure gave both Sarce and the man a nod, Sarce saw the Angel's hand draw across to a weapon of some sort, and he did the same instinctively. He did not want a battle with one of his kind yet he felt that if he could not make this Angel realise who he was, he would have to fight to protect this man.

"Welcome to the Cave. This is the home and lair of a Fallen Angel. You are a Fallen Angel like myself. Do not feel that you have to murder to sleep in this place. I am your kind and I am like you. Do not decide that fighting is your only option." Sarce said, tapping into the darkness to present an aura of hatred and anger within his tone.

The Angel had clearly murdered the mortal as he saw red blood trickling from the lips of the Angel. He was pleased that a mortal had been killed, though it was simply for hunger. As he waited to see if there was to be a battle, Sarce hoped that the man lying on the bed would fight alongside him.

Telsar - October 3, 2006 11:41 AM (GMT)
The mans face remained blank as he looked at the Fallen One.
"I am no angel, and do not worry. I wish for a fight about as much as you do. I think we can remain at peace tonight."
His irises burned as if they had a fire behind them. He let his hand slip from his sword as he moved into the cave. He took off the sword and sat down, placeing it across his lap as he sat cross legged.
These people dont seem to be a threat. That is good. I dont really feel like fighting tonight. He thought.
He shut his eyes, breathing steadily. He was not trying to act as if he was asleep. He didnt need it, he just needed rest.

Sarce Livial - October 4, 2006 08:40 PM (GMT)
"I am no angel, and do not worry. I wish for a fight about as much as you do. I think we can remain at peace tonight."

The words that the man spoke incited violence and anger within them though he doubted that man knew what Sarce was thinking. Sarce knew that this man would fight if he had to and this place was no rest for such a man who enticed such anger and emotion.

"Tonight, you may stay. However, as you can see, I have a guest who is currently resting and is quite tired. It would be rather appreciated if you kept the noise level to a minimum." Sarce said.

The man slowly drew his arm away from the sword yet Sarce kept his hand close to his scimitar. He felt untrustworthy of this man and quickly settled his eyes onto the man. He wondered what the man wanted and why he decided to rest here. It was likely that this cave was the only refuge for him.

"Peace is not often a word that I have come across and I am wary of your actions. I need no sleep nor do I need food. I will being watching your actions and movements. Any sign of trouble and I will not delay to kill you. Do you understand that?" Sarce said in an angry tone.

Sarce stood up and looked at the man that was resting on the bed. Tonight, he would be protected like he was a God. He turned to the other man and watched him as Sarce walked towards the entrance of the cave and looked down at the beautiful night sky and the landscape below. He turned to the man again and settled his eyes upon his, seeing the darkness and anger within his soul burning brightly in his eyes. Such darkness yet such foolishness.
