Title: WAY BETTER PrC Suggestions

Threnody - September 24, 2006 01:51 AM (GMT)
For all you wonderfully creative brains out there...
My PrC of PERFECTION needs some zinggers for skills to be added before releasing it into the big wide world of Arda.
I understand that thinking up skills/ feats/ etc for a BALANCE PrC is tough... I understand because I'm trying to do it! :p So if you guys have any suggestions and want to blow them by my way, then here is your chance!!

Don't pass up this amazing opportunity to be a part of the best PrC to meet Arda!
Say  to Ita and  to Awesome! (me!)

Ready!

Set!

Suggest!!

Note- Ita is actually uber cool... and we get along quite well... and this was meant in no way to be offensive.

Art of Peace - Using this will let you make a bind of peace between two people of factions and in turn stop them from fighting for a certain period of time. In turn this may also aid in stopping wars within Arda.

This is identical to a service Renny already sells in her shop. :poke:

Zenith Meria - September 24, 2006 02:06 AM (GMT)
Yeah, but then the people who are trained by her would be able to use it within Arda to try and Keep peace. Also it was a just an idea O_o

Mazzer - September 24, 2006 02:14 AM (GMT)
Uhhhh, I'll give it a shot.

Counterbalance - Sends for a white beam that does massive damage to those aligned to chaos. The more acts of chaos they have commited, the more destructive.

Tipe the Scale - The minions currently serving your opponent will unwillingly your bidding for the topic. May be used once per month.

Reaction - With every action there is a reaction. When a spell is cast at you, you may send it back at your opponent doing 3/4 of its original damage. May be used once per topic.

Zenith Meria - September 24, 2006 02:23 AM (GMT)
Hmmm Counterbalance sounds good ^_^ But since the element is Balance maybe the blast should greatly hurt both evil and good?

Obsidian Nocturne - September 24, 2006 02:26 AM (GMT)
Mime- You are capable of fortifying your speed, strength and agility with the speed, strength and agility of your chosen opponent for the duration of one minute. This may only be used once per topic.

Mazzer - September 24, 2006 02:51 AM (GMT)

Break Caster
Usable against those who have a caster class. When cast on a target, all spells become incredibly weak for 3 minutes. May not use while Break Warrior is on the target.

Break Warrior Usable against those who have a warrior class. When cast on a target, all physical attacks become incredibly weak for 3 minutes. May not use while Break Caster is on the target.

And since water is often considered tranquil...

Douse Chaos All fires, effects caused by fire spells, and chaotic energies are doused by a peaceful rain.

Nullify Chaos A shield of mist surrounds the caster. Any chaos spell cast at them is nullified. Has two charged. May only be applied once per topic.

Summon the Animus - Allows you one Animus Follower to do your bidding. Weaker then the average animus, it can still do a few tasks.

Yeah, like an npc minion, and it gets stronger as you progress through the PrC =D

Though an Animus is just a bird, everyone else's minions are beings that speak and can use weapons.

Zenith Meria - September 24, 2006 02:56 AM (GMT)
Grace of the Animus - When near death you may be brought back to full health by a Legendary Animus (much the one in Loths PrC for the Phoenix ^_^)

It would make the PrC unique from others. ;)

Tsk, tsk, tsk, so negative.

Opposed to giving it weapons, fit it with armor? =P Make its ennervation bolts more powerful? As you progress. Eh? Eh?!

Demetrio Vasquez - September 24, 2006 03:10 AM (GMT)
MWAHAHA! I have Mazzer's support! Anyways, you can make it something else then, or at least give some weapons from Threnody's shop.

Mage Hammer in the final levels or something like that.

Obsidian Nocturne - September 24, 2006 03:15 AM (GMT)
pulled this off Demetrio's suggestion waay up in the spells category...

Enhance with Distance - grants the user of the PRC the ability to enhance the strength of his or her spells in multiples based on distance. The greater the distance, the more damaging the spell when it lands if it lands.

Demetrio Vasquez - September 24, 2006 03:17 AM (GMT)
GRR!! I just made that suggestion!!!

I would get healing abilites but how about:

Intelligence - Blesses you with amazing intelligence during times of need, so that you can outsmart your opponents. Ideal for those who aren't the strongest warriors.

Ita the Reckless - September 24, 2006 03:48 AM (GMT)
Just for the record:

Animus - Threnody's Chosen.

Anima - A bird usually associated with the element of Balance.

My two cents.

Mazzer - September 24, 2006 03:50 AM (GMT)
As for skills, uhhh, ambidextry, sense motive, diplomacy, and scry maybe?

As for feats, I'd get feats that invlove using casting and melee, you know, a good balance of them. =P

Demetrio Vasquez - September 24, 2006 03:51 AM (GMT)
DOH! I should've remembered that. How about a fan that creates winds of balance and create peace.

What does that mean, exactly?

Obsidian Nocturne - September 24, 2006 05:00 AM (GMT)
I think he meant something similar to one of your spells where Thren forces a truce.

Next suggestion: a shield which gives a magical damage immunity for three spell hits no matter how powerful these spells are. On the third strike however, it gives off a circular wave of energy sufficient enough send a foe back for a good five feet. This can only be used once per topic.

Single Cycle - such is an ability which when activated limits both parties to the usage of spells through merely a single cycle. Once the spell has been used, it can no longer be cast again for the duration of the thread.

Demetrio Vasquez - September 24, 2006 09:52 AM (GMT)
I still think there should be a minion, but how about an ability that allows the caster to transform into a chimera for a set amount of time.

Tsuki no Shi - September 24, 2006 01:32 PM (GMT)
Crisis Mirror Seal

A seal of Celestial and Demonic runes becomes etched by ethereal light against one's body, beginning a transformation into a temporary elemental being the exact opposite of an opponent's elemental sensitivity. The change in being can be as simple as a difference in eye color, or as drastic as becoming a horned beast, often lasting a little over an hour. Those of a true neutral persuasion are opposed by an entity of true neutral balance, though the counterbalances of different essences within the neutral being may cause a berserker state.

Demetrio Vasquez - September 24, 2006 02:17 PM (GMT)
Peaceful Vapor - A mist begins to crawl into the area seemingly cooling wounds and tempers, while causing zero visibility

Obsidian Nocturne - September 24, 2006 11:57 PM (GMT)
Dual Handicap (whether it becomes a spell or an ability doesn't really matter) - The ability-wielder has the option to choose a handicap that would be forced upon himself and his opponent for the duration of the topic. He may opt to place a handicap upon the eyes and both parties would then not be able to see.

Demetrio Vasquez - September 25, 2006 10:59 AM (GMT)
Earn the diplomacy skill!

Balance is all about peace too!

Obsidian Nocturne - September 25, 2006 02:13 PM (GMT)
Arcane Curse level one - your presence prevents the casting of a specific spell of your choosing from your opponent's repertoire.

Arcane Curse level two - your presence prevents the casting of two specific spells of your choosing from your opponent's repertoire.

Arcane Curse level three- your presence prevents the casting of three specific spells of your choosing from your opponent's repertoire.

Note: Each advance of level overrides the previous.

Kieraline - September 25, 2006 03:21 PM (GMT)
I don't have a suggestion as to which level this could be used at, but here's the general idea:

Aura of the Unbiased
Through Thenody's teachings, the {PRC Class Title} has learned how to look at situations with an unbiased eye. As they've mastered this ability, they now project their teachings on those around them like an aura. All who come within 15 feet of the {PRC Class Title} are able to see things in an unbiased way.

Tithy - September 25, 2006 05:04 PM (GMT)
I thought up this quality inherited:

The ((PRC TITLE)) feels compelled to league with those who are at a disadvantage on the feild of battle in order to balance the scales.

And this ability:

Nirvana - The person enters a state where all thoughts are cleared from the mind. Balance spells become more powerful, while Chaos spells are less effective on the person. An aura of peace that looks like cooling mist surrounds the person.

(Kind of like the Will of Chaos ability's opposite.)

Threnody - September 25, 2006 05:29 PM (GMT)
*prods Tith*
Did you steal Nirvana from my uber weapon name! :p :p

These are all really good! Thanks a lot guys!! Fell free to keep suggesting!

Tithy - September 25, 2006 06:07 PM (GMT)
Not really... :poke: *pokes Threnny*

NOTHER SUGGESTION!!

Perhaps a Armor set somewhat like the Bloodshed set?

Alba Meria - September 25, 2006 06:43 PM (GMT)
Oh, Maybe on the very last level you could get a blade of peace hehehe

Obsidian Nocturne - September 25, 2006 07:07 PM (GMT)
hrmm come to think about it.. Ita's PRC gives a mark to symbolize loyalty to the goddess of chaos-- how about a certain medalion? ring? dagger? some miniscule item with a sweet but not a necessarily overpowering ability that is not in the shops? ^_^

edit!

New ability/spell

Bonds of Affliction - once cast, the status ailments/status gains upon you will be mirrored unto a target of your choice. Lasts until dispelled.

Zenith Meria - September 25, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
Method of Peace - This Ability lets you make the battle you are totaly even, both fighters now matching blow for blow.

Kieraline - September 25, 2006 09:00 PM (GMT)
Do Unto Others as You'd Have Done to You
When the {PRC Class Title} reaches this level, they are able to place a curse of sort upon those who attack them, causing the target's actions to be returned twice as much upon themselves.

I have one that will be added to the next shop additions.

I've got that one covered already! ^_^

Obsidian Nocturne - September 26, 2006 03:01 AM (GMT)
Bind Magic - All magic extending beyond the body of a person is nulled within a fifty meter radius. This handicap also applies to the caster.

Hayabusa - September 26, 2006 03:29 AM (GMT)
White Lightning: White bolts of lighting shoot from the casters fingertips, causing damage to anything it hits, as poweful as Crimson Lighting, does extra damage to those of the Chaotic Alignment.
