Title: Awakening
Description: The beginning of a saga! Open to all

Rallika - September 7, 2006 09:55 AM (GMT)
Rallika opened his eyes in a small ditch filled with bones of dead warriors. He studied himself noticing many bruises and wounds. He realised he had barely anything spare his armour. All he had was a long sword and a journal with a blunt pencil. He got up, massaged is aching neck and blinked rapidly to exercise his eyelids. The sun must have been cooking the bones as steam rose from some carcasses. The breeze blew into Rallika's face, smelling of death and despair. Strangely the smell was nauseating and entertaining to him. Vultures circled the sky and blood stained the earth and he was certain that some of the blood in the ditch was his. A shadow was cast to Rallika's right. He turned only to see it was merely a vulture spreading its wings. Rallika decided to look around this 'graveyard.' After the search all he found was 3 kilometers of skeletons and rusted equipment. Rallika heard someone behind him, unsheathed his long sword, turned around and gazed at whoever was there. His eyes widened as he recognised the person there. "Finally I have found you!"

Vaul Felinate - September 20, 2006 05:11 PM (GMT)
"Finally, I have found you!"

Vaul smirked, his blood-drenched armour glistening under the scorching sky. "That you have, little one. Now you have a choice... you can either continue with this fiasco you call a battle and I will rend your flesh as I did the other men... or you can stop and explain to me why you have come to this land and attacked me. What is your choice?"

The Avatar of Wrath stood very calmly, staring into the eyes of the demi-demon. It was true... if the warrior chose to attack, the Yin Halberd would taste the sweet nectar of blood again... but Vaul was genuinly curious as to the reason for the attack.

He had gained a great deal of notoriety since becoming the first chosen avatar for the Lost Souls, but usually it was honourable knights or angels that sought to destroy him, not demons.

Rallika - September 21, 2006 07:43 AM (GMT)
"Listen I'm not here to fight you and I know that you have been watching me so you'd know that I just woke up and I don't know why I am here. I can't remember anything of my past. I can tell you want to kill me but I don't want to fight you so why don't you just back off?"

Vaul Felinate - September 21, 2006 06:00 PM (GMT)
"If I back off, that means you can run. If you run, that means you can alert more people. If you alert people... I will be forced to evicerate them and then come looking for you. And I just don't need that hassle. But, I am not an unreasonable man, if you can keep my interest I will let you live for now."
Lowering his weapon slightly, Vaul awaited the demon's response.

Rallika - September 22, 2006 08:49 AM (GMT)
"I'm not a coward so I will not run. Also I know no one of this world besides you whom I have just met." The sky around them darkened and the already dying plants shrived up. Rallika looked around and saw glowing blood red eyes behind some blackened, horrifying trees behind him. "What is that thing!" Rallika rubbed his eyes and the eyes disappeared from view. Rallika turned to the stranger and resumed talking. "I don't know who I am alright? So, I want to know is why do you want to kill me hmm?"
