Title: Patrolling
Description: open.
Sir Caius Lucius - September 6, 2006 04:11 PM (GMT)
Caius tramped down the docks in the rain. He put his hood up so his head or hair did not get wet. Today was not the ideal day to go snooping around the docks looking for pirates, but it needed to be done. He crossed his arms and looked down towards the ground. He had hoped only to like a wanderer or some local with nothing better to do with his time.
Keeping somewhat of a disguise was good for surprise inspections. Any sailors involved in pirating would not deem him as a member of a legal law abiding force. He stopped from time to time and looked at sailors working on loading and unloading cargo. Usually he kept his distance and observations brief, no need to cause any suspicion about his duties.
He never liked pirates, or having to deal with them. Any pirate captured had to be dealt with in the same manner every time for every case. Death by hanging, assuming you did not kill them in a fight first. Caius always believed in giving a criminal a chance towards redemption, but the law was the law and he had to uphold the law. He also never liked making contacts. Dealing with criminals and organized crime was never his thing, and he hated the Guard of Lomedor relied on ‘outside’ contacts.
The knight causally continued on his way. “Oh bugger.” He said for the rain was getting to him. He eventually stopped by a small bout a man waiting outside.
“Any hot new goods hitting the port lately?” Caius asked curiously
“Nothing new, just the usual potion at discounted prices.” The man replied
Caius frowned. “No dragon eggs, what a rip off.”
“Next pier over you should find some… interesting items for sale.” The man said before turning and walking away.
Caius sighed. He wondered what was being fenced, most likely like the man said it was potions. He continued on his way to the next dock down towards a merchant stand. He hoped to the gods this was not going to get ugly.
Arelia - September 7, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
Arelia walked down the deck of a ship, the crew of it moved quickly across the deck as they pulled into the port. They lowered the boarding plank and she turned to the Captian and handed him a few coins. "Thank you for letting me travel to Port Adune with you sir." she said and bowed. The Captian smiled and bowed back, "You are most welcome miss" he replied, "I just appologise for the rain. It seemes that today is going to be most interesting."
She looked at him and he merely smiled motioning the gangplank. She smiled and bowed again and left the boat. The rain made the Port seem more grey than normal. She moved quickly as the new boat began unloading things swiftly, most likely to get it out of the rain. She watched a man head towards the docking area. She smiled and nodded and began walking along the port seeing what the merchants were selling today.
ManOWar2 - September 8, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
Leon sat on the edge of one of the unoccupied docks letting his feet dangle in the water, and watched the rain fall into the water. He stood up and doucle checked his possesions making sure no one had made off with any of his things before heading away from the water. He had only recently arrived here in Lómëdor and was amazed at how big the city was. He had came in search of adventure, but so far he had not seen anything out of the ordinary that would spark his interest more than the rain falling into the water. He tok in a deep breathing and smiled showing his mouth full of sharp teeth. He loved the smell rain. He walked towards the merchents tents hopeing to find some work if not anything else. As he walked his tail dragged behind him makeing a small rut behind him where ever he went.
He arrived at a small row of merchents selling various junk items with no real value of purpose. He walked over to one merchants booth and picked up a small blue jar with a misty white stripes mingled with the blue. He study it momentarily before carefully placeing back on the merchents table. He turned around and to leave and his tail crashed into the table knocking it over and breaking several of the merchants where. He turned around quickly relizeing what he had accidently done. The merchant was looking over his table his face an expression of shock, and horror quickly turning to anger. The man looked up at leon. "YOU! I cant belive you did this. I will never forgive you you big ugly lizard. You must pay me for everything you broke." he screamed at leon. "Im sorry I dont have any money im sure we can work something out." leon said hopefully. "The mans fac turn red with anger. "WHAT NO MONEY!" The city gaurds gaurds will hear of this. I shall have you kicked out of the city forever!" The merchant screamed.
Sir Caius Lucius - September 8, 2006 06:52 PM (GMT)
Caius's attention was caught by a man shouting a lizard up ahead. He turned hi attention to the man yelling at Leon. "Great, just great." He said shaking his head. He walked towards the merchant stand and put out his hand in stopping manner. "Sir Caius Lucius of Lomedor." He said. "Sir you can calm yourself down now." he said.
"This LIZARD freak ain't got no money!" The mercahnt shouted.
"Sir this was an accident, if its sucha big deal the town guard may compensate your losses." Caius said. What had been broken was not worth much compared to the budget of Lomedor.
He turned to lizard, "Unless you got official business its best you move along before there is more trouble." Caisu said.
ManOWar2 - September 9, 2006 01:04 AM (GMT)
Leon looked at the knight and nodded. "Thank you. If you ever need a favor try and find me and ill help you." Leon said to him. He then spuh on his heels and began to run off in the opposite direction. With every step his feet left a large impression in the mud makeing it fly everywhere. By the time he stopped running he was covered in mud up to his knees. As if that wasnt enough he had little flecks everywhere. He looked at himself and sighed. He didnt mind being dirty but no one would let him enter anywhere covered in mud like he was.
Arelia - September 9, 2006 06:21 AM (GMT)
Arelia heard a crash and saw a lizard man being yelled at by a merchant. She was about to walk up and try to break it up when she saw a man come up and take care of it. She watched the lizard man run off and debated weither she should check out what was the matter. But she decided to go check on the stranger.
Arelia turned in the direction of the lizard and followed him, when he finally stopped he had mud up to his knees and had mud spots all over. She approached him calmly. "Forgive me sir, I could not help seeing the commotion and I was wondering if you were alright?" she said with a bow. She was not sure how he would react but she did her best to try to not make the situation which he had been in seem worse than it was.
ManOWar2 - September 10, 2006 03:10 AM (GMT)
Leon turned around suprised to hear someone speking to him. He bowed in return. "I am ok thank you for your concern. I am not used to citys and everything being so closely pack in. My tail keeps getting in the way and knocking all kinds of things over. I am afraid one of these days it will get me into a fight that i dont want. I got lucky today a man came and told me he would take care of things and for me to go somewhere else until the merchent cooled down. But enough of my troubles. My name is leon I thank you for your concern." he said before smiling at the girl.

Some of them only care about the profits they get, I prefer Estolad and Lomedor where you can be sure honest work is being done. But I am getting ahead of myself." she said and bowed. "It is rude to speak to someone for very long before you have been introduced. I am Arelia samurai of the mountians of Ered Anon." she said introducing herself. "By what name may I call you?" she asked him.
ManOWar2 - September 14, 2006 10:21 PM (GMT)
"My name is leon lionsbane. I am a warrior and paladin to be. It is nice to meet you arelia. Do you know of a place I might be able to stay while im here? Or even better place i could make some money. Im very poor right now, and i havnt eaten in a week. I am in dire need of some coin. I dont mean to sound as if I am begging for I wouldnt want any coin from you. I prefer to earn my own, but your help would be appreciated." leon said. He then flicked out his tounge smelling the air around him. He was still nervous about the incident with the merchant and didnt want to stay in one place to long.
