The red shape of Knuckles was seen exercising near one particularly beautiful waterfall. The mist rose up from the base as the water cascaded, gracefully, down into a crystal clear lake, devoid of all life. Knuckles was doing one handed push-ups, his right arm first, upon the soft, sunwarmed green grass. "Twenty-six" , he grunted aloud and then he switched his arms, crossing his right behind his back. The soft twittering of bird's was barely audible over the soft, gentle roar of the falls. When he was finished, Knuckles walked over to the top of the falls, peered down over the edge into the pool below. With a fluid grace, Knuckles wordlessly dove off of te edge and into the water below with a resounding splash. Upon surfacing, he waded out towards the middle of the eddy. After he reached his new destination, he plunged his head under the water. There was not much to see, at least not much that you couldn't from the surface. The bottom of the water was fairly bare, but it was nonetheless beautiful, the rays of the sun dancing upon formerly flawless lake surface, which was now rippling after Knuckles' dive, were seen carressing the bottom in a wonderful light show in it's own. Today was perfect weather for a swim, the sun was nice and warm, the lake was fairly cool and the combination of the two just had the makings of a wonderful day. As wonderful as it could get anyway. After all, being sucked into a world you were unfamiliar with, and being cursed with a demon's touch is bound to take a toll on your good humor. The sun, although being warm, was not very bright in this place, which was good for somebody like Knuckles, to whom exceptionally bright lights were offensive to the eyes.
Upon resurfacing, Knuckles looked out upon the mossy, rocky terrain. He liked it here, he did not have many fights, not too many at least. He had no worries right now. The few trees in the area were faintly rustling as the breeze was very small. Knuckles continued to swim for a few more minutes, then he hoisted himself out of the pool and shook himself off. He walked over to a bare few rocks, selected a large flat one and, closing his eyes, proceeded to sun dry himself out for a few minutes, he'd had enough training for now.
Blade was walking around the falls when he saw someone that was red excrising at the top of the falls. he hid behind some bushes and watched him do one handed push ups. he then got up and had walked to the edge of the falls and jumped off. he had walked to the edge of the falls after he jumped and then had watched him hit the water and swim around. when the person had finished swimming, he got out and sat on a rock. blade then walked off the falls and then turned into a bat. he kept flling down until he was close to the water and he started to flap his wings. he then flew over to the person at the rock and then flew over to a tree and hung there until the person noticed him.
As Knuckles laid down, he saw a small, dark flit of in the sky. Nothing he worried about, his staff and other belongings he picked up a while after he came through the portal that brought him to Arda, were all merely a few feet away. As his red fur dried off in the nice warm sun, he caught sight of what it was he saw. A small bat was hanging around in a tree nearby. "A bat..." he said quietly to himself. It was no harm to him to leave it be for now. Nothing to take notice of. Knuckles slowly got to his feet and found the sturdy tree he sat in a while ago, there were not many large trees here, oddly enough. He set himself up about a foot and a half away and, warninglessly let his right hand, balled into a fist, fly out towards the big tree. A large dent in the bark was the result. Soon enough, Knuckles fists were blurring as they hammered away into the tree, sending a blizzard of wood chips flying into the ground. Whether this would upset the bat in the tree, Knuckles did not know. Finally, after what seemed to be around a minute, Knuckled delivered a powerful punch. The tree was immediately collapsing due to the tremedous force Knuckles had exerted. First there was a large round hole, and then the tree buckled over by the weight of it's own bulk, and the deadly barage of punches Knuckle has performed.
Little did he know, that the bat in the tree was not quite a bat, per se. It was only after his little show that he realised his mistake, and it emerged shortly afterwards.
Blade had flew away from the tree after the person had started to hit the tree he was sitting in. until the person had stopped he waited when the tree was knocked down, blade transformed back into his true form and said to the perosn, "You know, its not nice to disturb someone while their in a tree you know. and don't attack becuase I'm not evil. You know what? I think you are the exact person that I am looking for." but even though blade said that he was good, he pulled out is skullshredder just in case he attacked.
