Jen walked softly through the woods, listening to the soft downpour of rain, that fell upon it. She gazed forward hoping to find someone she could talk too. Jen didnt like being alone....it wasnt very fun. Finding no one at all she continued her search of another soul. Although other people dont really like to talk to vampires...which disheartened her.

"I wish I had someone to talk too..." Jen sighed and kept on walking listening to the rainfall. ".....sigh....."

Jen walked until she reached a clearing which was soaked in water from the downpour. The vampiress looked at the sky, which was a dolphin grey. Jen liked rainy days. She loved the color of the clouds and the sound of the rain. It was basically the scenery she liked. Jen stood there and closed her eyes and listened to the rainfall again. She couldnt feel the coolness of the raindrops, or them pelting all over her, or the cool breeze that blew past. The vampiress just stood there oblivious to it all for a while. Jen then focused her gaze north. She stood there and waited to see if another living soul would come....not that she thought anyone would.

"Im a peaceful vampiress..." Jen sighed again. "...I wish someone would come soon....Im tired of waiting....not that time matters much to me....sigh.....someone please come....i just want to be friends....Im so lonely..."

Jen stood there sadly and waited to see if someone else might be walking in the rain. She just wanted someone to talk too. Right now just didnt seem to go to good for her. Jen stood there alone....waiting and watching. Ready to happily greet anyone who came her way.

Enjoying the light rain that tickled his face as he flew, Matesh soared over the sparse woods oblivious to the world around him save the blessed wind upon which he flew. He reveled in the joy of unbridled flight granted him by his wings, his half-angel birth right. Suddenly he noticed a sullen figure standing alone in the woods. giving in to his curiosity he began to slowly cirlce the lone woman.

"Feed my frankenstein. well I ain't evil, I'm just good lookin start la fire baby start cooking for I'm a hungry man! but I don't want bread, I blow you down, and then I'm gonna eat ya." said blade to himself as he was trying to say some words that he had heard before he had died and became a vampire. he walked along the rainy pathway he saw a ways back not thinking taht it was someone elses path. he soon ran into Jen still singing the tune that was stuck in his head. and for some strange reason, there was a soft beat of music somewhere that went along with the song blade was singing.

interesting thought Maktesh as he continued to circle and observed an extremely tall and muscular man walk down the path and begin talking with the young lady. Beginning to tire he set down within the branches of a large tree, contemplating whether or not he should make himself known. Choosing to err on the side of caution Maktesh remains hidden, and waits to see what develops of this interesting situation. I wonder if they know each other?, Maktesh muses to himself.

"Oh hey, Blade. Long time no see." She smiled turning around to look at him. Talis walked up behind her and looked at Blade. "You remember Blade, dont you Talis?" Jen laughed petting the gryphon. Arshis brushed against her legs as a cat would and began to purr. "Oh, I dont think you have met my alu cat Arshis. I just recently found him. So what have you been up to Blade?" Jen smiled.

Arshis then walked up to Blade and purred. He seemed to be friendly with anyone he met. Jen could sense someone else around but it would be there decision to approach them or not. She wasn't going to force who or what ever it was to.

Sitting up in the tree Maktesh wondered whether or not he should make himself known, being as he's not sure as to whether they are friend or foe. Well, he figured, it's like my grandfather used to say, "at times it is better to travel with an enemy than with yourself". With that thought, he lept from his perch and soared into the sky, only to alight upon the ground a short distance away from the travelers.

"I haven't been up to much lately, I am still trying to find more people for my guild. I think i told you about it didn't I?" said blade as Jen's cat came up to him and purred. he petted the cat as blades panther walked around to jen with blades eagle, and two hawks on its back. Blade saw something out of the corner of his eye and saw someone touch the ground. he turned and asked, "Hello, don't worry we don't bite. whats your name sir?"

My name is Maktesh. And yours are?". Maktesh silently wondered if these two beings were evil, the girl looked nice enough, but the man was huge! Rather not get in a fight with that fellow! Maktesh mused. I wonder if they're pets are hostile, better stay on their good side. "Those are some mighty fine animilial companianions you have there." Maktesh stated a bit apprehensively.

"Blade trinity. but most people just call me blade as beucase saying everything gets to be a mouthful for them." blades falcons flew over to the new person excited to see someone new around blade. they sat down on his soulder and tried to rub there heads on his cheeks (Think catish like). blades eagle then flew back to blade and sat on his arm as he held it out for it. "And thank you about the compliement about our friends here. oh, and don't scracth the top of your head, my fly dragon is sitting there."

"Yeah you told me about that i think." Jen replied and she looked into the sky as another person approached. "Hello, who are you? My name is Jen and I am a vampire. Dont worry I dont bite."

"Those are some mighty fine animilial companianions you have there."

"Yeah. They are good companions. especially when your lonely." Jen smiled at the man who approached them. "The gryphon is Talis and the alu cat's name is Arshis." As Jen spoke of thier names Arshis and Talis walked up to the angel person. "Seems they like you pretty well." Jen giggled.

Arshis brushed against the angel person's legs and purred. It always seemed like he liked everyone. Jen stood there and watched to see if he would pet Arshis. Talis then walked back to Blade and sat sat down beside him.

"He wants you to pet him now Blade. Hahaha." Jen laughed.

Blade started to pet talin becuase the Gryphon started to nudge his hand. he wondered how all these animals could like almost anyone taht comes withen a meter of them. he looked around and saw that his eagle got bored and started to rest up on the top of blades head. "I guess that my pets will sleep just about anywhere they find comfortable."

"Haha, yeah." Maktesh began to pet Arshis behind his fin ears and gladly welcomed the falcons' attention. He was clearly more at home with the winged creatures, although fine with cats as well. "Such wonderful birds, I'll have to get me one sometime. What are you two up to? I was just traveling, no place in particular to go when i saw you two."

Blade smiled as Maktesh complented about his birds and said, "I wasn't up with to much when i ran into Jen. But I have been wandering around arda for awhile now trying to find more people to join the lone warriors. becuase we are still trying to trive and not getting ourselves killed." he wondered why he still didn't get a gryhpon like jens. because they are one of the best bird like animals there are.

"i wasnt doing much either." Jen replied with a smile. "I was just wandering through the woods. Ive been wondering around Arda since my mother was killed by my father. Ive never been to these woods and I figured that I could explore them for a while. And then it started to rain." Jen looked up at the cloudy sky as rain fell onto her face. "So what do you guys want to do?"

"We could explore alittle bit and then try and find a place to train. then this way we could be better fighters in the future." suggested blade as he looked around and tried to find a good tree to hand from. when he found one, he turned into a bat and then went to the tree he liked and the hung upside down from the tree and looked to see what the diffrent things looked like upside down.

"A bit of training sounds good to me. I know that I could use it." with this statement Maktesh deftly reached behind his back between his wings and drew his two handed sword. Appraising it lovingly he give it a quick twirl, not neccasarily to test the weight, he knew it's fell in his sleep. He seemed to twirl it just for the sheer satisfaction of seeing it glint in the light, and remembering his grandfather, the only real father he had known, who had given him the sword.

"Good, think you can step up to the plate and strike me out?" said blade as he turned into his vampire form and flipped down to the ground landing on one of his knees with his two handed sword withdrawn with a small but loud thud. he slowly got up and started to spin his sword around his body like nun-chucks. he stopped the sword with the blade lined up along with his arm. he took out his dagger and spun that around in his hand prepared to train. his eyes turned red as to make him more frightening and said, "Bring it on."

"This wont get rough will it?" Jen asked the two worried about there health and well being. She couldnt fight since she had just a masterwork shortbow. "Exploring did sound like a better idea to me...but do whatever you want. Just dont hurt each other two badly. i had to friends before who really beat each other up pretty badly. So take it easy okay?"

Jen gave them both a worried glance and back out of the way. She didnt want to see them hurt each other but if thats what they wanted to do she wasnt going to stop them. Talis walked up to the vampiress and so did Arshis. They all stood there and watched to see who would make the first move.

Blade looked at jen and said, "Hey jen, if you ever used a dagger before you could use my skullshredder if you would like. and don't worry, the most I'll do is nick Maktesh and Nothing more. when I train hard, I use a copy of myself, this way I could fight as hard as I like. in fact, if you would like Maktesh, I could make a duplicate of my self and we could use that for training. because it is not real. it is just going to dissappear once It dies." he then made a duplicate of himself and told it what was going to happen.

"Aight" agreed Maktesh, "If your sure it wont hurt you, sounds good to me." With that he lifted his two handed sword and with a quiet grunt heaved the sword with a great downswing upon Blade's duplicate, which looked suprisingly realistic. By duplicate he meant duplicate. MAktesh could hardly tell the diffrence between the two.

Blade watched as Maktesh was bringin the sword down on himself which was not supriseing because of the duplicate. he took his blades and blocked the attack. "Its the other one." said blade with a sigh as he then took his weapons and started to fight with the copy of himself which blade didn't fight head on he just tried to find weakness's in his copy so he could explit them.

"oh, I'm sorry" Maktesh said with a concerned look on his face. He was quite suprised. Seeing Blade attack the duplicate he followed suit. With a sharp thrust he stabbed for the duplicate's rib section. Maktesh wondered if this was really a good idea. He had never been one to hold back in combat and didn't want to in any way accidentally injure Blade.

Blade then decided that he could try and knock the weapons out of hthe copys hands by slicing them off. but everytime that he got close enough to get to the copy, it would try and stab him in the heart. he then jumped up in the trees trying to defy gravity. then when he was high enough, he jumped off and knocked the copy down just after Maktesh had stabbed it in the rib cage. blade then took his two handed sword and sliced off both arms. he got off of it and the arms dissappeared in black smoke. the copy got up and blade said, "Watch out hes still dangerous. there are still spells that he could do without his weapons or arms.."

"He won't be dangerous for long." Maktesh predicted. With a sudden flash of feathers he spread his large wings and took to the sky, and with a short circle he tucked his wings flat against his back as a hawk or any other bird of prey would. He then slightly extended his sword and began his kamakazi dive aiming for the duplicate. He picked up speed as he completed his dive impaling the duplicate and pinned him to the ground through his left shoulder.

Jen sighed and watched them fight for a while. She really didnt like it when people fought. Even if it was just for fun, they could still hurt each other. She thought about what Blade had said.

"No thanks Blade. I'd rather not get in this one." Jen replied setting on the ground. "Someone tried to train me before and...it didnt work out. They only hurt me....so Id rather just let you too just battle it out. I only use bows and maybe a staff here and there."

She continued to watch them fight. Jen watched them and hoped that both of them would be okay. She just wanted to talk after all.....

Maktesh slid his sword out of the duplicate's shoulder, wondering if a duplicate could actually die. Well, at any rate, he was done. War was a neccesary part of life, even though peace be more desirable. Noticing the bored and slightly concerned look on Jen's face he went over and stood next to her and decided to attempt to engage her in conversation while Blade finished up the fight. "So, what are you doing out in these parts?" Maktesh casually inquired.

Jen watched Maktesh sheath his weapon and walk up and stand beside her.
"So, what are you doing out in these parts?" Maktesh casually inquired.

"I was just traveling through these parts...." Jen replied looking at him with a smile. "....Ive been traveling all over arda since my mother was murdered by my father. I havent been able to find a place to call my home. Vampires aren't execepted very well in the world you know." Jen added her happiness vanishing into dull sadness of the memory of her mother's murder.The vampiress stood there in sadness for a while and then supressed it with a slight smile. She smiled and then said"I dont know where else to go really. I just want to travel for now I guess. You?"

Jen stood there beside Maktesh and waited to see what he would say next.

"Wow, I can't imagine something like that. I've never really had a father. All I know about him is that he was some sort of angel and couldn't stay with my mother for some reason. All I have from him are these." He said motioning to his wings. "We lived out in the country with my grandfather. He gave me this sword. I decided that it was about time to see the world."

As blade finished up fighting the copy of himself, it dissapated into black smoke. blade walked over to where the other two where talking. soon he heard a howl form up in the hills somewhere as he then was tackled by a timber wolf who preceeded to lick him in the face. blade was laughing which he hadn't done in a long time. he then finally got up from the wolf and started to walk towards the group. and the wolf had followed him. "I guess i am someone new as my compainion." he said, "Allthough i don't know what to name him."

"Wow, does this happen often, animals just flying out of nowhere and decideing to follow you about?" Maktesh carefully eyed the timber wolf. Looks friendly enough he concluded. "Not sound rude, I understand if this is a sensitive subject, if it is just tell me, but how exactly did you two become vampires? And you both seem friendly enough, how do you manage to satiate the urge to feed? Or is that all just myth?"

Jen was shocked and surprised at Maktesh's question. A single tear fell down her cheek. She tried to hide it by letting her hair fall around her face. The angel's question brought back some memories of Jen and her father. Her mother as well. Jen wiped the tear away and looked at them both with a sad expression.

"That....that." Jen began unsure of what to say. Finding the words she continued after a careful moment of thought. "I have been a vampire ever since I was born. And I drink animal blood. I do not harm humans or others. I do not feel that is right. I dont like to kill anything but life survives at the cost of another. Im sorry Im in a sad state right now. Your question just reminded me of my mother and my father....and.....*sniff*....how she was alive and we all were happy. But Dont worry about it though. Im fine. It was nothing you did. I just wish my mother was still alive."Jen smiled at them both slightly and looked at Maktesh. "Thanks Maktesh. Atleast you think Im nice. And Blade too." Jen looked over and saw his timber wolf. She smiled and then looked at Blade cheerfully. "Hey. Why dont you name him....Silver? Or....I dont know what other names to name him." Jen laughed. She seemed to be out of her sullen mood now. She looked at Maktesh and Blade cheerfully.

"I'm so sorry Jen, I in no way meant to dredge up any bad memories. I suppose I should think a bit more before I speak." Maktesh then looked over at the wolf and after staring thoughtfully at it for a second he said, "Yeah, I agree, Silver does seem an appropriate name."

"At that moment when both people said silver, the timber wolf had perked its ears up and huffed. "I guess he likes that name. so then it is silver. And by me being a vampire, I had a friend once who had been bitten by another vampire and had turned evil. he then made up a small group of assains and killed my family then came after me. but instead of killing me, he bit me and i turned into a vampire. I am not like normal vampire though, i could stand in the light of day and not get killed. I also survive by eating raw meat. this way I don't kill anyone or any animal. i know at least they are dead and I can eat the entire thing. And I think it would taste better than just drinking for the rest of my life." the timber wolf then started to play with the panther.

"That's okay." Jen smiled at the angel. "Its quite alright. Like i said its not your fault so dont worry about it. You didnt know."Jen looked forward at the sky as Blade told his tale of becomeing a vampire. "Thats sad and mean. I just dont understand why other people do that. Im sorry about that blade."Jen looked from the sky and back to them. "What to do now guys?"

"I did get revenge on him by killing him and his little band once i grew stronger and found my magical powers." siad blade as he had a big smille on his face from seeing silver fit right in with his other misfortuned animals. "You know, now that i think about, all of these animals here i have found abused or injured. I think i have a little nack for finding unfortinuate animals. just like i was with my family and my best friend having to be killed by me. So i think its safe to say that all of these animals are exactly like my family. the panther, he acts like my father, the eagle acts like my sister. the two falcons acts like my twin brothers. and the wolf acts like my guardian." said blade.

"That is very interesting Blade." , Maktesh said, "I am getting kinda hungry, either of you interested in heading towards the nearest town for some grub? Oh, or do you two not get hungry like that, vampires and whatnot, sorry if its a sensitive subject. It's hard to tell, what with some going vamp voluntarily and as you told me Jen, against your will." Maktesh stood quietly waiting for a reply feeling a bit awkward and hoping that he hadn't brought up a sensitive subject. Normally he would be blunt, but unlike most vampires he had heard of, these two truely seemed nice. Not evil in the least bit, and he didn't want to offend them.

Jen could sense Maktesh's feelings about the subject. She smiled and walked up to her gryphon and mounted him. Arshis jumped up in her lap when she sat down. As she was readieding herself for a ride she spoke,"Sure we can head back towards town if you want Maktesh. I dont mind. Sure I may drink blood but I can join you as you eat. I just hope other people dont mind me being there. Although it would be quite rough not to draw attention because of my gryphon and alu cat...." When Jen finished getting ready she looked at them both with a smile. "Anyone up for a ride? Although which town should we ride to?"

Talis stretched his wings and rose his head into the air. Jen waited to see if her friends would ride or take wing with her gryphon.

"Any town works for me. And don't worry about your animal friends, attracting attention is something that I have begun to get used to." Maktesh lightly flexed his wings and nodded towards them. "Well, I'm ready for take off when ever you two are." Maktesh easily lifted off the ground with a strong flap of his large, feathered wings. It was windy and with a bit of difficulty he fought the winds and circled around before landing close to where he had taken off from.

"Im ready any time your ready then, Blade." Jen smiled and waited for her friend's reply. "That's good that your used to alot of attention Maktesh. Im not very used to other's staring at me...it makes me rather uneasy." At that moment Talis beat his wings and took to the air.

Talis flew up beside the angel and waited for the other vampire. "Are you ready Blade?" Jen asked him as they waited into the air.
