The loud, sucking 'glop' of boots being pulled out of the wet mud, and the dusturbing 'squish' as they went back in were the only sound Beir could hear. Luckilly, they were his own boots, otherwise he would have been in deep trouble. He refused to lie down in the gunk, and thus had not slept last night. So, if anyone had an aggressive intent for him, he'd be in for it.

Tripping , probably over his own feet, Beir fell forward, straight towards the mud. He held his hands out in front of him in a vain attempt to stop himself, but as he hit, the sheer depth of the mud was truly revealed. He sank like a rock and, had he not moved, he would have been consumed by the goo.

Forcing himself out of the mud, he stood up, and wiped his face with the back of his arm. "Great, not only amy I tired and hungry, but now I'm filthy, too. Peachy. Just peachy." Reaching out, his hand caught hold of a heavy branch to one of the swamp's few scraggly trees, onto which beir hoisted himself up. He lied back, closing his eyes, content with his spot, when the familiar glop sound reached his ears. He looked in the direction of it's origin, wondering who else would be in such a place.

Charoget - August 26, 2006 08:39 PM (GMT)
Caroget was here in the Swamp squishing in the mud having a blast she threw herself in the mud and rolled around like a filthy pig and stood up and laughed then she spotted a man in the trees and she stopped being careful of who it was and so she decided it was safe enough over here because she was far away she rolled aruond in the mud some more and then when she realized who was sitting in the tree over there she rolled in the mudd some more to be sort of camoflauged she flew to a tree far away and sat there in the tree to make sure she was out of dangers way. She reached into a little pouch that she had strapped to her side and pulled out a berry and popped it in her mouth then she sat contently waiting for something to happed she didn't quite know but it was going to be something.

Beir watched the young woman play in the mud, and when she notcied him, he did nothing of any real consequence, aside from scratch his nose. When she flew into the tree, he immedietly recognised the angel wings. "A celestial. Great. This'll be just peachy." He looked over at the tree she was in, and waved. He might as well try to make friends. "Hey! Don't worry! I'm one of the good guys! I just look like this to catch the evil-bad-men off of their guard!" It was times like this that he was glad that he was a good liar.

(Sorry about the crud-tastic post.)

Charoget - August 26, 2006 10:42 PM (GMT)
"Hey! Don't worry! I'm one of the good guys! I just look like this to catch the evil-bad-men off of their guard!" This stranger was talking to Charoget like she was a little child she acteed like one sometimes but she knew better and her response was of this "Right and I'm a little blue faerie that grant you wishes." She flew over to the tree where he was sitting, herself all covered in mud and said "if you want to make friends you don't have to lie" Charoget Offered the man some berries because he looked famished. She sat there in the tree and looked the man over trying to determine wether he wanted to make friends or fight, and finnally she said "Where are my manners....My name is Charoget and what is yours may I ask?" She sat waiting for a response.

Beir was in a good mood all of a sudden. An angel with sarcasm? Unheard of. "Well, then, I wish I had three heads." He said, chuckling at his own attrocious joke. He nodded, and took the berries. Hmph. Maybe not all of those goodie-two-shoes are sickeningly sweet after all. And she hasn't stereotyped me. I'll have to remember to spare her. He began to wipe some of the mud off of him. "Alright. Then we're friends now." He stated matter-of-factly. "I'm Beir, bottom rung of the Armies of the Abyss, and sworn enemy of Raku, though he doesn't really even know I exists. Or maybe he just doesn't care." He shrugged. "Whatever. Why are you in this swamp? I got lost, and found myself here. By the looks of it, you came by choice."

Charoget - August 27, 2006 07:18 PM (GMT)
"Whatever. Why are you in this swamp? I got lost, and found myself here. By the looks of it, you came by choice." Beir had said and she simply replied "This mud has minerals in it that are good for your skin." She chuckled and took a berry and popped it into her mouth. She smiled at him because he thought that she was funny and not many people did she sat there on the branch and finally asked "How did you get lost? I thought that Arda was a pretty simple place, but I guess to some you can get lost easily. By the way, where were you headed maybe I can help you or maybe I can't." Charoget smiled then thought that maybe this fellow was just on travel like herself and didn't quite know where he was, But whatever the reason he seemed nice.

Valmyr Kilsek - May 15, 2007 05:48 PM (GMT)
Valmyr moved through the mud like it was nothing, making no sound and leaving barely a footprint. His newfound powers helped him when it came to swift silent motion but he didnt care to use them until this mud started to thicken a mile and a half back. he wondered where he was and looked at the angel and human make small talk, he laughed started to float nearby. staying in plain sight, knowing that if a man dressed like him and an angel were getting along. they wouldnt make trouble with a drow like him.
