The night air was sweet to the taste, the stars close enough to touch. The water warm enough on bare skin to feel good.
The mist from the falls fell over Shion, makeing her skin glitter with the light from the stars. For the row of rocks she was standing on, were in the middle of the lake, by the falls. Shion was there for one purpose, and one purpose only.
It was called the Forgotten Dance by her people, it was a Dance that only a few knew. And Shion was one of them. She could hear the music in the sounds of the night around her. Her hips started to sway to the beat of her heart beating in time with the Moons. Her Dark green eyes were closed, but she didn't miss a step. For this dance was in her blood.

Of course Shion was not alone, her childhood friend Jin Kazama was perched high in one of the trees looking down onto her as she danced. A small dark smirk came across the lips of Jin as he watched her, this was fun. He was finally with Shion again so everything felt right now. Jin was no longer alone, he was with.. family. He could here the sounds of the wind passing among the trees, it was soft and gently and Jin was rather liking it for now. Jin large black angel wings were spread out into the tree hidden from most peoples sight but were still placed in such away that Jin would be able to attack anyone quickly.
Jins claws were digging into the branch that he was perched upon, he was ready to pounce on anyone that got near Shion as she danced. It was thing Jin liked to do, watch Shion his best friend Dancing. She was amazing at it and always seemed to cheer Jin up alot. He let out a small sigh, letting his inner rage calm down and not letting anyone enraged him for now. Because when Jin was enraged well.. lets just say you dont want to uncage that beast.

Shion started to hum as she danced. Slowly the humming formed into words. Those words in the tounge of the Fairies. It was a song about Life.

Jin continued to watch on as Shion started to sing. The moon beating down upon the water of falls. It was indeed a very beautiful site to behold. A small smirk creeping along the lips of Jin as he looked at Shion more. She was amazing, totaly amazing. Jin then leaped out from the tree landing softly upon the ground below. He was facing Shion but did not want her to stop dancing. He just wanted... a better view shall we say. And a better view Jin got. He flew onto one of the rocks and perched himself upon it, his eyes on Shion still but now his wings tucked tight into his back to stop the water from the falls hitting them.
Jin then looked up into the sky, the stars many and the moon full. It was a great night and this Devil loved it so much. His eyes still burning with their red glow ripping through the night air towards Shion. They were best friends and in battle... well.. lets say Jin was the main attack for for them. Although he didnt mind that one bit. Jin lived for battle... lived to kill.

Shion was so lost in the dance that she didn't know Jin was right near her, watching every move she made. She swayed her hips, spinning around, her long skirts fluttering at the movement. Shion caught sight of Jin, but didn't stop dancing. She couldn't stop moving.
Shion walked up to Jin, and even that looked like part of the dance. And she moved againist him. Her body still swaying to the beat of the drums in her head. Shion projected the sound in to Jin's head so he could hear it to. Her sences felt so alive. The heat from Jin's body and the mist from the water felt good to her.

Jin seen Shion come closer to him, the smirk still across his lips as she moved against him. The horns upon the body of Jin still sharp and ready to be used as deadly weapons. These kind of thoughts however soon passed Jin minds as he looked at what Shion was doing more. Thats when he said "So... is this flirting all part of the dance or something?" He had never known Shion as more than a friend so this kind of thing was well.. new to him I guess. His eyes still upon Shion as he awaited on her reply to what he had asked.
Jin then fully stood up to his six foot eight height and looked down to Shion. He now had somewhat of a smile on his lips as he looked at her, although Jin was still waiting on her reply to what he had said. The music beating within his head.

Shion knew that Jin could hear all of her thoughts when they were sharing like this, but that didn't stop her from wanting him to know what she was thinking. It was time he knew the truth. Shion didn't stop danceing as she whispered a Yes to Jin's question, her mind telling how much she really liked him.
As soon as the thoughts were out of her head however, Shion knew she had to get away. She spread her wings and took off with out a backward glance at Jin. She hoped he wouldn't hate her for likeing him more than as just a friend, but she couldn't help it. It was in the stars for her to love him.

Jin listened to Shion said this, then fly off after the dance. Jin did not know exactly how to love someone... it was... not him exactly. He then let out another small sigh and spread his wings, slowly beating them sending him into the air after Shion. He was still her friend and given time.. who knows. He flew after her at great speed and was soon near her again. Tucking his wings in a little Jin went faster through the air and was right behind Shion, thats when he said out "Shion... stop. We need to talk about this ok. SO JUST STOP!!!" Yeah Jin was not very good at trying to be nice... this was him trying to be nice, but it never really worked out well. Only Shion knew this was him talking nice to someone.
He looked at Shion, now right next to her as they flew over the falls. Jins large wing span always meant he could catch up with her quickly which was just fine in his books. He didnt want her to be hurt but at the same time Jin didnt know what he wanted... If he wanted to be just friends... Or something well, more than that. Is was something he would have to pick over time... but now was not the right tine for a rushed answer.

Shion didn't look over at Jin, even though she knew he was there. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to find out that why. Thats why I ran." Shion could barely she in front of her due to the tears in her eyes. She just had to trust that she wouldn't run into anything.
Shion flew on, not talking any more, tring to stop the tears from coming. But that was the least of her worries. As Jin and her flew over a part of the Falls, Shion started to fall. She was in terrible pain and it seemed to be comeing from her trible tattoo on her back. It felt like the star was on fire.

Jin heard her words but still followed her. He then said "No its ok, you dont need to be sorry Shion... we just have to talk about this thats all." But right after saying this Shion seemed to start falling from the air in pain. Jin seeing this flew faster towards her and managed to catch her in his arms before she hit the ground. His large black wings beating slower as Jins feet soon lay upon the ground below. He had no idea what was wrong with Shion but had to help her out.
He took her near one of the falls and placed her softly onto the ground as he said "Come on... your stronger than this Shion, fight the pain... USE IT!!!" Jin knew she could do it.. all Shion had to do was try... she had to....

Shion heard Jin and knew he was right. She had to fight this. She couldn't let the change take her. She woulf beat this. Shion stopped screaming and laid still, her mind on the pain that was ripping through her. She had been through this before, and it had hurt then as while.
Shion's breathing all but stopped, her color fading to a paler color than what was normal for her. Yet the star on her back burned brighter. Shion's wings were changing. The were becoming darker in the green spots and lighter in the silver, little stars appering here and there. Soon the pain stopped. But still Shion didn't come out of her trance. In a last effort to comsume her, the pain pulsed back, ripping a scream from the now limp Shion, her green eyes flying open, the green ten times brighter than ever before. And on the back of her left wrist, a new tattoo. A black and green star. The mark of her second change.
