Description: alzon and umbra

Umbra - August 11, 2006 07:11 PM (GMT)
Umbra moved with lightning speed, the blur spell giving her the ability as she lept in the air and slashed at the stuffed dummy with her dagger. On the other side of the field Migan was tearing at a dummy as well. Umbra landed with precision as the two halves of the dummy fell behind her. She smiled as she saw Migan rip the dummy to shreads. She gave a small grin as he nodded to her. Setting up another group of straw dummies she and her lupine companion stood at the other end. "Ready. Set, Go!" she shouted as she and her lupine dashed towards the dummies. Weilding her dagger she slashed two of them while her companion shreadded another. Moving swiftly down the row they each took down the dummies that were set up. At the end Migan crouched and put his paw at her foot. Launching her into the air she did a back flip and he threw three dummies at her. She threw her dagger at one, stabbing it where a heart would be, drawing her sword she decapitated the other, landing in a crouch she spun and as the third fell she riddled it with holes from the magic missle spell.

She walked over to an area where they put some water. Taking a drink and setting it down she looked at her parter. "Lets try some dodging practice." she said. He nodded and they stood facing eachother. Sliding her foot back Umbra broke into a run, Migan took a deep breath and blew fire at her. She jumped and dodged it, this continued untill she got to him and in one quick motion she ran into him. They fell on top of each other and she got up. "Man I need to go all out. This is fun but I need a challenge." she said helping him up. The cerberus puppy who was by the container of water lifted its middle head and looked at them then put it down, a true cerberus while the other heads slept it stayed awake ever alert to its surroundings. Suddenly it barked, someone was comming.

Alzon was running though the tall brown grass just to build up his speed, but still he wasn’t as fast as he hoped to be. He started to zigzag, heading towards the outdoor training area he heard so much from some of the villagers he killed when his excuse for killing was to get stronger. Sure that was one reason, but he often failed to tell others he just plain loved to. His wounds were gone, and Alzon was slowly getting out of his mild depression with losing to an enemy guild. His mouth was covered in a light tan cloth which held as a bandage, and his right arm were warped up in the same color cloth, that he was too lazy to take off.

Finally, he jumped into the air, trying to see the arena, but his jumps weren’t very high, so he really didn’t see anything but a small speck. Falling back down was troublesome, he feel to his knees but quickly got up. He wasn’t fully healed, but healed enough, and he believe that you could get stronger faster if you fight when your hurt. Silly yes, but it did have some proof. A few moments later he was close to the arena enough to heard a dog like bark.

Alzon squinted his emerald eyes, and then took a sudden stop, spotting a puppy with three heads. A cerberus? He thought as he remembered Ita having one, or more. They surely is ment chaos Alzon would imagine. He started to walk closer, and spotted a familiar face, it was Umbra. He forgot how long it was since he seen her, and he wasn’t quit sure if she hated him for leaving the guild. Some might think he was a tratior, but that simply wasn’t true. The demon kept quiet, and looked at his old guild mate as h e slowly bowed his head, almost in shame.

Umbra turned to see what her cerberus was barking at. Knowing him it would be anything, but she turned and gave a laugh and a smile, her fangs showed but she did not care. "ALZON!" she said with excitement as she ran to greet him. Her endurance even after the long training gave her energy to spare as she greeted him. She gave him a smile and walked up to him. "Alzon its been a while, how have you been?" she asked.

She watched him lower his head, as a child does when they get caught doing something wrong. She slowed down as he bowed his head. She tilted her head to the side, wondering what was the matter. "Are you alright?" she asked him trying to figure out what was the matter. She was still glad to see him. He had left the guild a while back and most wondered why he did. But she had shrugged it off. If he wanted out of the guild then he could leave, it was his choice. She looked away and smiled. "Hey Alzon? If you have a while why don't you and I spar?" she said throwing a few fake punches, "It will be fun, besides I need something more than a few dummies who cant even block a hit." she said with a smile.

Alzon cringed up as she called out his name, fearing that she would try to kill him for his leaving the guild. Darkness clouded his mind, preparing himself to defend and maybe even kill his old guild mate. But then she asked if he was alright, and the demon listed his head with wide emerald eyes, that weren’t in slits. “I’m fine thank you Umbra,” the demon said in a weird tone of voice, full of shock. She seemed happy, last time he remembered she was having nightmares and couldn’t sleep. He was feeling something, because she was feeling this thing called happiness. But he couldn’t understand it, but he did understand what sparing meant.

“I have all the time in the world to spar.” Alzon said as she smiled with closed eyes, although his bandage covering his mouth concealed the grin. Alzon started to walk towards the arena, then finally leaped over the fence. “Its nice to see you again Umbra.” The demon said with half truth, but he could never get past the point that if he was really hungry, he would go at the closest thing near him. It was a good thing he had his fill already. Same Umbra, Alzon thought to himself as he took a fighting stance.

Umbra - August 12, 2006 06:28 AM (GMT)
Alzon cringed when she said his name, not sure why she moved her foot back. It may be because he did not expect to see a member of the templar. It must be a big surprise after walking out the door the way he did. she thought. She hoped deep down he would still be the same Alzon who would never turn down a chance to practice. But people change, and she could see in his eyes that he had changed. “I’m fine thank you Umbra,” he said with a voice that sounded surprised.

She wanted to wrap her arms around him in a hug and say how great it was to see him but she knew he probably would hate her for it so she restrained herself. He perked up and she could tell he was smiling when she said the magic words. “I have all the time in the world to spar.” he said and lept over the fence. She cleared the few dummies that were on the ground and walked opposite of him. “Its nice to see you again Umbra.” he said taking a stance.

Umbra stood opposite of Alzon and turned to face him. She brought her right foot in an arc and set it behind her. She moved her left arm in front of her and moved her right slightly behind her left in a block position. "Its good to see you too Alzon. Ready when you are." she said with that look in her eye. Her lupine companion stood near the cerberus, its middle head was asleep and its right head was awake it looked up at the lupine who shrugged.

Alzon moved his body in a slight side, so he was a lesser target for her, as he studied her movements. The demon gave no concern, or care about the odd look Umbra had, so he ignored it as she suggested him to go first. Umbra, besides his guild master, was the only person in the Templar did he really spend any time with. He doubt that she knew much about his violent nature; because he never really showed her any unkindness for his own reasons. Maybe it was because they were on the same side, or maybe it was because she shared demonic blood in her veins. But Alzon didn’t care about race if he was hungry, so it wasn’t that, he was sure of it. And it would seem that Umbra wouldn’t see his violent nature today either, or would she?

He wouldn’t go easy on her, nor would he go all out and try to kill her. The problem wasn’t attack, it was attacking without attempted murder. The demon nodded as he reached in at his sides, hiding two throwing daggers, on in his right and left hand. And he held two normal sized daggers visible, concealing the throwing daggers well. He held the daggers where the back of the blade was facing her, so she wouldn’t get cut.

“I’m ready now,” Alzon said in a low, normal hissing voice that came with his demonic bred. As soon as he spoke those words, his feet pushed him off from the ground, and he began to charge at umbra as fast as possible. As soon as he came within five feet of her, he skidded his heel in the dirt, and threw a dagger at her foot, hoping she would jump up. And as soon as he threw one dagger, he would send the next one free, aiming at her foot if she jumped. If she didn’t jump, the dagger was aimed for her lower leg.

Umbra - August 12, 2006 11:13 PM (GMT)
Umbra watched him as he got ready, she narrowed her eyes trying to anticipate his movements. “I’m ready now,” he said. He made a dash towards her. She got ready for a front attack but he stopped and threw a dagger at her, she smiled and crouched slightly and lept up as he threw the second. She gave him her smile and lept up clearing both as a orange glow appeared on her left hand. She looked down at alzon from the air as the daggers missed.

"Ring of Jumping. Helps with dodging." she said landing in a crouch showing him the ring, "Its something worth investing in. But my turn." she said grabbing her dagger out of its hilt. She got up and ran for a tackle and slashed at him. I know Alzon enough that he won't go easy on me so I won't let my guard down.she thought.
