Title: A Second Chance
Description: (p) Sareion
Takoda - August 9, 2006 11:32 AM (GMT)
Takoda walked along the well trodden path, alone and at peace with the world around her. A smile playing across her lips as she hummed to herself, her voice soft and light in the quiet of the forest.
Mage had gone off to hunt and Ally had gone to do the same. She knew they would be gone a while, but would be instantly by her side if she needed them.
Her bow was slung across her back with a quiver of arrows, her harp hanging at her side as well as a dark leather bag with her other things. Her fingers lingered lightly upon soft leaves as she walked past them until she came to a small stream that cut alongside the path. Following it she came to a small clearing where she lay down her quiver and bow, placing her harp beside them with the utmost care with her bag.
She ran her fingers along the fine strings and smiled. Turning to the stream she pulled off her jacket and boots before diving into the clear stream to rid herself of dirt she had acquired from travelling. The sun was high in the sky and so when she emerged once more from its cool blue depths her clothing was able to dry. Pulling on her jacket and boots once more and picking up her things she turned back to the path, refreshed after the quick dip in the stream.
She finally came to her destination, an old tavern that was situated on the edge of the path called 'The Dancing Song Bird'. Smiling she made her way over and opened the door, letting her eyes adjust to the change in light before entering fully.
"I see you have returned Takoda." came a familiar voice and she turned with a smile, her arms wide to recieve the warm hug that embraced her.
"Yes Georgio, I am." she laughed lightly. "And how is Nanita?"
"Oh, I'm wonderful dear." came an excited feminine voice from behind the man and once again Takoda found herself swept up in a hug.
"Nanita!" she laughed once she was free again to stand on her own two feet. "I am glad to see you too."
"Its always a pleasure to have you around, and I see you have brought your harp." Georgio chuckled.
"Never go anywhere without it." she replied. "Now, whats on the menu, I'm famished."
After she had eaten, Georgio and Nanita organised her a room and fussed over her as if she were their own daughter returned to them after a long journey and in a way, it felt like it. Although Takoda would never forget where she had truly come from, the old pair had a special place in her heart.
Once she was settled she returned to the bar and insisted on playing for the guests they had and so she sat on a stool near the fire and played her harp, her voice soaring softly throughout the quiet room. The sun was still awake outside and a few more came and sat in the tavern, listening to her play.

Sareion flew silently throught the forest. Being his first time in the rain forest he had never realized before how beautiful it truely was. He smiled big thinking to himself as the cool breeze ran through his wings. I am so glad Takoda asked me to come here, its been long since i've seen a place so beautiful and calm.
He dived down makeing his finaly approach to the Tavern. So I assume this is the palce, odd a Tavern being all the way out here. Sarieon walked in silently hopeing not to be seen, then took a seat in back. Sareion smiled, blushing slightly. Takoda looked so beautiful up on stage, no wondering no one noticed him comeing in. Sareion loved to hear her play, her music was peaceful, and her voice was more beautiful then those of the singing angels in heaven.
Takoda - August 10, 2006 03:04 AM (GMT)
Takoda did not notice Sareion enter, only assumed it was another stranger come to listen to her play, so she did not look up from her harp, not that she would have anyway for when she was performing, nothing else existed but the song that wrapped around the room and sent emotions whirling into the hearts of the listeners.
Nanita and Georgio sat whilst business was quiet and watched her too. Tears of joy pricking the eyes of Nanita as she smiled proudly at the girl who now sat so confidently before the crowd for which she had once shunned and hid from.
Takoda wound down the song she was playing so she could have a rest and bowed her head to the small crowd as they applauded her performance. Placing her harp down next to the stool she stood, brushing a strand of blonde hair from her eyes as she was swept up into another hug from Nanita.
"Beautiful, just beautiful." she half cried, half laughed.
"You have come a long way from the girl we once knew." Georgio commented with a light chuckle. "Now Nanita, let her breath."
Nanita instantly took a step back and laughed, brushing away the few tears that had escaped her blue eyes.
"Oh, I'm sorry dear." she said. "You must be thirsty. What would you like to drink?"
"Water will be fine." she replied and then Nanita was shooed away by her husband, Georgio, before she babbled on some more, with a wink to Takoda who only laughed in response.
Takoda looked around for a place to sit and saw Sareion sitting off in the back and her smile grew in pure joy. She had not expected him to arrive till tomorrow. She practically ran over to him and fell upon him with a huge hug, smothering him with kisses as she sat on his lap.
"Your early!" she laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Nanita saw this and smiled to herself, nudging Georgio.
"Look." she whispered.
Georgio was about to scold her for almost knocking the drink he was pouring when he saw Takoda sitting with an Arch Angel, the most joyful smile upon her face as she gazed at him.
"Leave her alone." he said to Nanita. "It seems she has found love and she will introduce us in time. Let her have this moment."
Nanita was about to protest but sighed and shook her head, giving Georgio an adoring look, remembering how they had been when first they had set eyes upon each other. Georgio smiled back and planted a soft kiss on her forehead before returning to the customer he was serving.

Sareion smiled, looking up to catch Takoda as she fell into his arms. He wrapped his arms around her, returning all the kisses. "Your early!" Takoda laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck. Sareion smiled, looking into her eyes.
"Sorry, I just couldn't stand being away from you for another minitue." He smiled once more looking up then back into her eyes. "I loved you song, it was beautiful, almost as beautiful as you my love." Sareion looked about the room, noticeing an elder couple. "So, are these the people that rased you?" Sareion asked curiously.
Takoda - August 10, 2006 08:24 AM (GMT)
Takoda rubbed her nose against his adoringly and smiled.
"Why thankyou my love." she replied, blushing slightly at his compliment.
She felt his strong arms wrap around her and felt safe and secure. Her heart filling with joy and love, glad that he had come early to see her. She looked in the direction he had indicated and saw Nanita and Georgio working side by side and smiled.
"No, they are just old freinds who have been there for me." she replied. "When I was young my parents used to take me here sometimes. I used to sing to the horses in the stable and they would stand quietly at the door without me knowing. They encouraged me to sing and asked often if I would play for the guests but I was too shy."
She turned back to him and climbed off his lap with slight reluctance because she had been comfortable. But she wanted to introduce him to the old couple, for they meant a lot to her. She took his hand in her own and tugged slightly.
"Come and I'll introduce you." she said with a smile. "You will like them."
She had been wondering about introducing them before Sareion had dissapeared and now seemed like the perfect time. Business had slowed once more as all sat with drinks filled before them after her performance.

"No, they are just old freinds who have been there for me." she replied. "When I was young my parents used to take me here sometimes. I used to sing to the horses in the stable and they would stand quietly at the door without me knowing. They encouraged me to sing and asked often if I would play for the guests but I was too shy."
Sareion smiled running his right hand through Takoda's hair. "There is no reason to be shy, your music is beautiful. As are you, I am sure the horses miss your beautiful voice my love." Sareion smiled more kissing Takoda. Takoda then stood up, climbing off his lap and grabing Sareion's hand. "Come and I'll introduce you." she said with a smile. "You will like them."
Sareion laughed slightly, being a bit nervus to meet new people. "Well, then let us go meet them." Sareion stood up, holding Takoda's hand. "Iam sure if they are freinds of yours I will like them."
Takoda - August 14, 2006 11:40 AM (GMT)
Takoda grinned and lead him over to the bar, Nanita and Georgio smiling at them. She squeezed Sareions hand gently.
"Nanita, Georgio, I would like you to meet my love... Sareion Zeowolf." she said, her eyes sparkling in excitement.
Nanita smiled and inclined her head.
"It is a pleasure to meet someone who makes Takoda so happy." she said with genuine happiness. "How did you meet? Tell me everything... "
"Shush Nanita. No need to bombard them so with questions." Georgio scolded softly, with a light chuckle. "Its nice to finally meet the one who has kept her away for so long."
Takoda blushed lightly and looked at her feet with a pleased smile.
