Title: Moderator App Opened

I was checking around this morning, and I decided that it is time to open up the
application for Arda's moderators. ^_^ The group is called Keepers of the Realm, and their responsibility is to help enforce the rules of Arda. This is an OOC job, it comes with no IC advantages. So I need some mature, responsible, and experienced members that know the rules to come and give a hand. Anyone interested can check out the application, and apply if they fit the prerequisites. :) Guardians, you are all eligible to apply. God/desses and the 4 Apocalypse riders are already moderators, along with my co-admins.

Strange that you'd open this up without yet doing anything about the Guardian apps, but...eh, whatever. Your site.

Why is it strange? :huh: Guardian and moderator positions aren't related to eachother, so the applications both being open doesn't adversely affect anything.

Not that, just that you haven't yet done anything with the guardian apps (though I suppose these apps would be somewhat more urgent, admittedly). And...suppose I'll shut up now.

I'm guessing both applications are seperate? Hmmm I guess there is a more detailed explanation of the concept of... enforcing the rules? Does that mean they can warn people, fulfill purchases, etc?
I'm just curious, but I guess I'd assume these moderators are somewhat lesser than admins, but above the average player?

Moderators are able to edit posts, delete them, move them, warn players ect...they have more abilitites than the average player but much less than an administrator.

Ah, good question, Liara's answer should do. :) I'll add this info to the application.

Good call Loth, hopefully this will make it easier for the mod staff to enforce some of the rules, as it can be very tedious work for a small staff.

I don't think I've been on for 3 months, but I'm glad to see you'll be recieving more help if you approve more moderators.
