Prince walked into the Pub. He looked around and almost everyone was drunk. He walked to the Bartender bumping into people on the way,"Escuse me". He started to get mad cuz 6 people already bumbed into him so the 7th person that did he pushed him. The person was so drunk he passed out on the floor.
Prince finally got to the bartender. "A glass of white wine please." The bartender got a wine drinking glass and pored white wine into it almost filling it up all the way,"Here you go,"the bartender said putting the wine glass on the table,"I guess your not going to try to get drunk today huh?. "Thanks. Nope to end up like these people",Prince laughed,"I dont think so". The bartender walked away to serve someone else. Prince took a sip of his wine. It was clearish yellowish. It was sweet. White wine can be a different color and taste different depending on how you make it and with what fruit. Prince took another sip and put the wine glass down.

(OOC: She is not completely good as she is part demon, is that ok?)

Adia ran through the rain towards the Inn the young boy had directed her to, using her infravision to help her and stepped inside, shaking off droplets of water onto unsuspecting drunkards near the door. She couldn't see them and so didn't care or notice except for the grumbled protests they made.

She pushed through the crowd using her staff as a guide so as not to run into anything and came to the bar. She found an empty stool and sat down in one smooth motion. The bartender stood before her but as she was blind she did not see him or know until he spoke.

"What can I get for you?" he asked.

"Water, thankyou." she replied and he placed the glass before her with a slightly louder thump than was usual so she would know where it was.

She reached out her hand and wrapped her long fingers around it and took a sip, ignoring the leers of the drunks as they eyed her with interest.

(OOC: Sure, Thats fine)

Prince took another sip of his wine. The drunks started to sing some song,"Great",Prince said,"drunks singing. The most anoying there there is.", Prince laughed. He noticed a women sit on a stool next to him. He noticed she wasnt drunk so he started to talk to her,"Hi, my name is The Prince of Nature but everyone calls me prince.I think you are the only one that isnt drunk here. Besides me and the bartender." He took another sip of his wine. Noticing it was finished he called the Bartender over and asked for another glass. The bartender gave him the glass quickly because he saw one of the drunks go over the counter to steel some rum.

Adia didn't turn her head at the sound of the voice, only took another sip of water before replying.

"My name is Adia de la Courcel Stregazza." she answered softly. "And must admit to being surprised to find someone who is not so intoxicated, although by the smell of it, you are heading in that direction."

She took another sip of water, keeping her head turned away from the stranger. She ignored the rowdy singers behind her and rested her head in her arms to try and drown out the noise. She would have left, but it was raining.

"I'm not going to get drunk just a few more glasses and ill be fine.", Prince took a sip of his wine. "You cant get drunk by having 2 glasses of wine.", the drunk people started to get anoying with there really bad singing. "I'm new to Arda and im looking for a traveling partner.", Prince said to Adia waiting for a reply. Prince took another sip of his wine.

Adia's lips curved into a cool smile and this time she turned her head in his direction, revealing her blind, milky white eyes.

"I apologise, that was rude of me." she said. "I did not mean to insult you."

The drunks seemed to get louder and it was grating on her nerves and setting off the demon inside her. She knew she would have to leave or else she would hurt someone. Rain or no rain, she could not stay there.

"I have to go." she said quickly, slipping off the stool. "But if you wish, I will accompany you on whatever road you tread. But I can't stay here any longer, I'm sorry."

There was a note of stress in her voice as she laid a few coins on the bar and took up her staff once more. Her hands shook slightly as she did so, but her concentration was solely on the man named Prince, her head tilted so she could hear him. She would not let the demon out. But it hungered for the blood of the unsuspecting drunks.

"But wait", Prince stood up,"where will i contact you?". The drunks stopped singing for awhile then started to sing a new song. Prince took another sip of his wine. He was going to start punching the drunks. They wouldnt notice anything, they are so drunk they wont remember anything the next day. And it would make this place alot quieter.

Adia shook her head.

"I will be here tomorrow at dawn." she said. "Or you can come with me now."

One of the drunks tried to slide his hands about her waiste and for it he got knocked out by her staff. She turned to dissapear into the crowd when she realised she wouldn't be able to find her way to the door and she couldn't use her infravision because she had used it just moments ago and wasn't strong to do so again.

It would leave her too tired and open to the demon inside her to take control. She couldn't risk changing into her angel form either, not in such a crowded place. She needed to get outside.

"Help me." she said, turning towards Prince once more, the tone of her voice both fearful and pleading.

She dropped her staff and put her hands to her ears, her breath coming in short breaths as she tried to control the voice in her head that whispered to her of blood. She stepped back up against the bar and just wanted to curl up and dissapear from the world.

"Are you ok?",Prince said. He picked up the staff and then took her hand and lead her out using the staff to push people. When they got outside it was alittle bit quieter. You could still hear the drunk people singing but bearly with the rain. It was pouring with rain. Prince streatched out his left wing over Adia so she wouldnt get wet. Good thing he was taller then her. He handed her her staff and said,"Are you ok?".

Adia shook and let herself be lead outside by Prince. Once in the rain, the voice was even louder and she fell to her knees in the mud.

No, no, no!, she cried silently as tears fell down her pale cheeks.

She changed form and her hair became shorter and turned to the colour of autumn leaves. Wings appeared, spreading white from her back and she knelt in the mud for a moment as she battled with the demon inside her. After a moment the voice halted, she had won. Nothing but the rain could be heard. It was then she realised she wasn't getting wet herself and she remembered the man who had helped her.

"You must be soaked through." she said, in an attempt at humor, as she stood. "I'm sorry. I'll be fine, you can go back in if you wish. And thanks."

Prince watched her change form. He thought to him self, A shape shifter cool. "Oh, thats ok i like the rain. Its not realy a flyable weather though. And i dont think i can stand anymore of those drunks singing." Prince just remembered he forgot to pay, owell they can send the bill up to his room. "So now what?",Prince asked Adia. He still had his wing over her. He was hoping to fly around Lomedor today, but not in this weather.

Adia smiled slightly and shivered. It was rather cool outside.

"How about going somewhere warm and dry..." she suggested. "and quiet."

She held out her hand and felt the wing above her, as he said it was not flyable weather. The feathers were smooth and soft under her touch.

"I didn't know you had wings." she said in surprise, her fingers still running softly along the wing that sheltered her, a soft smile curving her lips as she did so.

"Hmmmmmmm, a warm quiet place. There is a library next to the inn. It's quiet and i think they have a fireplace.", Prince said,"yea i have wings im half-angel half-human. Prince looked around and saw people running into houses and buildings trying to get out of the rain. He also saw a few kids playing in puddles and there parents screaming at them to get inside. The rain started to get harder. Prince didnt mind he likes being in the rain. He thought it was calming and fun.

Adia let her hand drop from his wing and held it out to him.

"Well then, lead the way." she said.

A sadness settled on her shoulders as she realised the full impact of what nearly just happened. She would have killed him without a thought, if the demon inside her had not been settled. She was glad her angel form was strong, for she did not know what she would have done otherwise.

The thought of going to the library though brought a smile to her face as she was a scholar and loved learning. It was only in the past 150 years or so that she had been hesitant to set foot in one again after discovering her demonic side and putting to flames a once majestic building full of books. Her demon side didn't seem to care as much for knowledge. But she had been able to keep up her studies none the less, just not as often as she would have prefered.

Prince took Adia's hand and lead her inside the Library. The library was quiet and worm. It had that book smell. When Prince lead Adia inside after they were in he retracted his wing. He lead her to a round table with 4 seats. He pulled out a chair and put it in back of her saying,"Here sit down. So... are you a shape shifter?"

Adia followed him and was glad at the warmth of the library. Prince held out a chair for her and she sat down as he put it so she could feel where it was. She breathed deeply the smell of books and tingled all over. It was the question that threw her and she was silent for a moment.

"Yes." she replied softly. "But... I'm also a Rauko... half demon, half angel. I am three different people and yet I am only in control of two, that is why I had to leave the bar."

She bowed her head in silent pain, hiding the sorrow that etched her features. But she knew the truth had to be told, if she were going to travel with him then he must know what she truly was, even if he despised her for it and left.

Prince sat next to Adia."Your only in control of 2? Which 2 are you in control of?", Prince asked curiously. He thought to himself, half demon hmm, i wonder how she looks like in her demon form. Or maybe i dont want to know. Prince looked at the fireplace bye them. He loved the smell of fire. He isnt a demon or anything but the smell of fire is nice and worm

Adia kept her head bowed and shook her head.

"The two you have seen, human and angel." she replied. "The demon escapes me still. Before was but a small victory as she is yet wounded from a past defeat."

She felt him sit beside her and hid her face behind the tendrils of red hair that hung in her face and shuffled her wings nervously.

"All three are nothing alike in appearance or personality. Yet I have been able to sway both my human and angel to form together and so they are now joined and here I am before you." she added softly. "Now I am but two really, yet still I am split into three physically and at times mentally. You have just caught me on a good day which almost turned."

Prince kept on looking at the fire. He couldnt take his eyes off of it. After he heard what Adia said he replied,"So you have 3 personalities and 3 apperences and they all think differently? I think that's interesting." Prince turned and looked at Adia. He saw the librarian walk by to get a book from a shelf next to them and then walk back to her desk.

Adia's lips twitched slightly in a smile, and yet she still hid her face. Her head still bowed in silent shame.

"Interesting?" she said in surprise, with a shake of her head.

She was caught a little off gaurd by his response. It was unexpected and yet she had never really been one for company and no one had ever asked before.

"I've never seen it that way." she continued after a moment of silence. "I've been studying books but none have helped me find a way to..."

She trailed off, unable to put into words what she was trying to achieve and unwilling to tell this stranger, not knowing if she could trust him.

"Find a way to what?",Prince asked. "Well, i think its interesting. But I'm 16. I'm still a teenager. So. what i think is interesting might be different from what u think is.". Prince heard the rain get stronger and harder as it hit the roof of the library.

Adia shook her head.

"You are young." she said softly. "You need not worry about such things. Now, we are in a library, surely there are books to be read."

She lifted her head and smiled in his direction.

"It has been a while since I have been in a place such as this. Would you read me a book?" she asked. "I don't care what its about, who its by.... I don't care if its in another language."

"Sure",Prince replied. As he got up and started to walk to one of the shelves the librarian came and said,"Excuse me sir but the library is closing now. If you have a library card you can get a book but if you don't you'll have to leave". Prince walked back to the table and said to Adia,"The librarian says the library is closing. I don't suppose you have a library card?",Prince asked.

Adia grinned.

"What kind of question is that to a scholar?" she asked with a light chuckle.

She reached into the bag at her side and pulled out the white library card, handing it to Prince.

"We can return it tomorrow before we go." she said. "Unless you wish to stay here another day."

"I was hoping to leave tomorrow.",Prince said. The librarian came with a bucket of water and threw the water into the fireplace make the fire go out, she didn't want all the books to burn up accidentally. "I'm going to go to the Inn to go sleep do u want me to help you out or something?",Prince asked.

Adia nodded and smiled at Prince.

"No, I'll be fine." she replied. "I have a place to stay nearby. I can make my own way there as it is in the opposite direction to where you are going."

She stood and ruffled her wings slightly to rid herself of the stiffness from sitting.

"Could you lead me out of the library and I shall see you tommorrow at the front?" she asked, holding out her hand into the darkness for him to take.

"Sure",Prince said. He took her hand and let her out of the library. It was still raining. The librarian came outside too. She looked the door and walked away."Where will i meet u again?", Prince asked.

Adia smiled as he lead her outside, feeling the rain fall down upon her as they left the library.

"Here, at dawn." she replied to his question. "If thats alright with you?"

She shivered slightly in the cold and turned her blind gaze on Prince.

"Sure, tommorow at dawn. I'll see you then.", Prince said then walked away tword the hotel. Feeling the rain pour down on him. He liked the rain. He walked into the pub to all the drunk people.

Adia nodded and turned in the opposite direction, feeling her way back to the Inn she was staying at where it was quiet and she could sleep. It was a fair walk but it did not take her long and once there she dissapeared up to her room, shifting into her human form to sleep. She changed out of wet clothes and left them lying on the floor before closing her tired eyes and sleeping.

Morning came and she rose just before the sun, changing into some travelling clothes she had packed away. It did not take her long to gather her few belongings and she walked out into the cool crisp dawn, stretching her wings as she returned to her angel form. It was mainly from habit that she woke so early, not out of any sense of being able to see the sun or feel it.

After having rested she felt stronger and used infravision to find her way back to the library to wait for Prince.
