Title: Strange happenings of the third kind.
Description: open to all

Umbra - July 27, 2006 09:19 AM (GMT)
Umbra walked towards the Sanctuary it was almost sunset and she needed a place to stay for the night. She knew half-demons were not very welcome but she was willing to pay and she was going to leave the moment she woke up. She walked to the gates when a strange feeling came over her. She walked into the town and for some strange reason no one looked at her. She figured it was because everyone was heading home for the night. An elderly couple walked by her, "Why young lady it is almost night fall. You should be getting home." the woman said with a smile. The elderly man nodded in agreement, "Yes young one. If you are in need of shelter the inn has plenty of room. Why we have not had visitors in years. I was begining to think this old town was beginning to crumble. Why just yesterday I had only sold three baskets of fruit from my cart. I usually sell more than that." said the man as they waved and walked home.

"No visitors for years? The Santuary of Angels always has visitors and is almost always occupied by people. And a few months ago I was here myself. Why would he say they had no visitors in years?" she wondered. She continued to walk when a small ball hit her leg. She picked it up and saw a child run after it, he took the ball back and smiled. "Thanks lady" he said. She gave a confused look. Something strange was up, few children here ever walked up to her, let alone talked to her.

Hiroko - July 27, 2006 03:39 PM (GMT)
Although he had arrived no more than a couple of days ago, something strange was occuring in the Sanctuary of the Angels. The environment around him seemed almost completely familiar, as if it had been that way for years; leaves carefully drifting down, one by one, the wind tossing them away an unknown amount of distance. The sun laid a gentle rainbow of warm colors, ranging from blue to a solid red, as he watched the sun come down. There were few in the area, though many watching cautiously from afar at the Sanctuary and the somewhat strange woman speaking to those who were old, telling of the Sanctuary itself.

Hiroko was never one to eavesdrop, although he was simply passing by when he heard one particular conversation going on, between an odd-looking woman and a few elderly people. They were speaking of the dangers of staying out late and the recent oddities of the sanctuary. He was only looking around, and upon waking up with an almost overwhelming amount of energy, he realised that he could have used this extra time to explore; the first things to see, of course, would be the places with more importance. It was merely coincidence that he happened to hear this conversation, and stopped to listen for a little while longer - the woman who was being lectured was clearly opposing whatever position these elderly people had to state.

'Perhaps time has passed faster than she has thought...' The thought continued to echo and repeat in his mind, although he was watching himself carefully enough not to say it. Even though he was no native of such a place, something strange was presenting itself at the sanctuary. She had a fearsome appearance, or so it seemed to him, and it was questionable as to why the child had taken the risk of coming even ten yards within her presence - surely she gave off some sort of eerie aura. It was even questionable why the elderly folk had been bold enough to speak to the woman. Where he had come from, there was a much less obvious minority of demons and monsters and the like. In this place, there was probably a majority of something other than humans, making these older people used to seeing someone such as he was seeing now.

The Outcaster - July 27, 2006 11:33 PM (GMT)
Yondor had arrived at the Santuary of Angels early to meditate, for it was a good place for doing such.He nearly meditated all day, until the sun was ready to set. Coming out of meditation,he got up and stretched feeling the breeze rush through his arms and hair.He felt like he had been born again, energized as ever.

Yondor felt like walking around a bit.To see how the community was doing. While walking he noticed a couple people talking to someone he knew.A woman named Umbra was the lady being talked to.She was a freind of Yondor's.He thought for a second.A place such as this to talking to a half-demon.It was really akward. What really twisted it was when a young native child actually communicated with her.Yondor knew something was weird.

Yondor continued with his walk.A man, holooked like he ws in his middle-ages,was on his way home for the night.Yondor took the liberty to ask him a few questions."Umm.Excuse me sir.Have you noticed anything strange going on around here?" Yondor asked gently."No.I'm afraid not. It's been this way for a long time.I surely haven't noticed anything weird. You'd better find shelter for the night too." The man replied. He finished on his way home."Okay.Thanks too." Yondor replied.

Yondor couldn't help but to keep thinking about. He decided to walk over and talk to Umbra about the situation.

Umbra - July 28, 2006 06:56 AM (GMT)
Umbra watched as the boy ran home. Apart from her and another man the square was empty. She looked at him as he watched her. She looked away and gave a shudder. Something did not feel right. She continued to look around, a breeze blew and her hair gently moved in the wind. Her purple eyes scanned the city which was now blanketed in darkness of night. She soon realized that there was another presence among them. "Okay. Thanks too." she heard.

She turned and noticed Yonder walking towards her. She nodded hello and met him halfway infront of an inn, "Yonder, what is wrong here? The Santuary of Angels is supposed to be a peacefull place where all races can come to relax but something strange is happening. The elderly couple said that no one leaves or has come in five years. I was here last month!" she said and then leaned forwards and whispered so only he could hear. "And I am feeling something strange. I cannot put my finger on it but there is something more to this than meets the eye. I am sure of it." she said as she looked around.

She shivered again. There was something going on, there was no peace here, only a strange presence. What it was she did not know.

Malisaro - July 28, 2006 05:41 PM (GMT)
Malisaro had only ever been to the sanctuary of the angels once, and then he had never even gone inside it. The trouble with the stupid place was he stuck out like a sore thumb, most people here wore bright colours and were happy and content. He however was completely hidden beneath a black cloak and mask, and his eyes didn't give anything to show the light about him. He was certainly given a wide birth by most people, probably because the most sensible ones took into accoutn the vast number of weopons an his person. He walked with his ruby staff in one hand and with his set of claws on incase of sudden attacks, but had the rest of his weopons firmly away beneath his cloak. There was something odd about this place and he knew it, even though he had never been here, something wasn't right. And it wasn't just the people staring at him. He turned a corner and noticed a young half demon, his mood lightened as he recognised her as Umbra, one of the few people who actually knew what he was going through, and she didn't even know half of it. Resigning himself to the worst he walked over to her.
"Yonder, what is wrong here? The Santuary of Angels is supposed to be a peacefull place where all races can come to relax but something strange is happening. The elderly couple said that no one leaves or has come in five years. I was here last month! And I am feeling something strange. I cannot put my finger on it but there is something more to this than meets the eye. I am sure of it."
"You an me both" Malisaro said.
Then he smiled beneath his mask, not that anybody could see it.
"Nice to see you again Umbra" he asked "and I think you're right"

The Prince of Nature - July 28, 2006 10:30 PM (GMT)
Prince flew over a forest and started to fly over a big city. It was night time but he could still see the beauty of the place. He wanted to check it out. So he flew down and landed. He looked hoping to find someone to ask where he was. Being new to Arda isnt the best thing there is and he kept on getting lost. He had a strange feeling though. He looked for someone but there wasnt anyone. Untill he kept on walking and saw some people. It was dark so instead of running to them he spread his white wings and flew. He didnt want to trip or anything. He landed again and said,"Hi, my name is prince. Can you please tell me where i'm at. I'm kinda new to Arda. And where are all the people here. Are they on like a night cerfuew or something?"

Umbra - July 29, 2006 06:34 AM (GMT)
Umbra turned at the sound of a familar voice and smiled at finding the voice to belong to Malisaro, a drow she had met a while back and became friends with. "Hey Malisaro. Thanks for the comfort, at least I know I am not crazy. Something is definately going on here and I don't know what." she said and turned to Yonder, "I think you have met Yonder before. But I have a strange feeling something might be wrong. I could be wrong but I don't think I am." she said then heard a noise.

She turned to find a man landing near them, "Hi, my name is prince. Can you please tell me where i'm at. I'm kinda new to Arda. And where are all the people here. Are they on like a night cerfuew or something?" he had asked. She shook her head. "Its good to meet you Prince. This is Malisaro and Yonder." she said pointing to the drow and the half-dragon. "I am Umbra. But you are wrong about the cerfew. This city is known as the Santuary of Angels and is welcome to all races, even those who are not accepted are allowed to stay here, But this place is not what it usually is. There is a mysterious aura that surrounds this city and it makes this place seem unsafe." Umbra looked around, the square was empty. "There is a tavern inn over there what do you say we head in and talk this over inside?" she proposed although she felt like staying out here in the streets would be better than in the inn.

The Prince of Nature - July 29, 2006 07:56 PM (GMT)
"Nice to meet everyone", Prince relpied,"Sanctuary of the angels. Hmm, maybe thats y i was drawned to here. An inn sure. So all the people are inside or something?? I mean if it is The Sanctuary of the Angels i would expect to be seeing alot of angels outside talking and stuff". Looking around he noticed a statue. A statue of an angel. He was surprised to see it in the dark but it was a realy good work of art.

Malisaro - July 29, 2006 08:03 PM (GMT)
"It's a place where you pay to sleep" Malisaro said "they're often pubs too, but I don't drink, at all"
He looked about at the few people roaming the streets.
"Although, everybody may be inside," he muttered "and I wonder why, there lis defimnatly something wrong here"
He looked about trying to find out the strange feeling that he had, he couldn't quite describe it but it felt horribly familiar.
"So, the inn it is then" he said and waited fir the others to lead the way.

Umbra - July 31, 2006 09:13 PM (GMT)
Umbra nodded. "So it is agreed. Lets go" she said leading the way, ,"Sanctuary of the angels. Hmm, maybe thats y i was drawned to here. An inn sure. So all the people are inside or something?? I mean if it is The Sanctuary of the Angels i would expect to be seeing alot of angels outside talking and stuff" Prince had said. Umbra shook her head, "This place actually gets its name from the statues around here. I am usually not comfortable here. I am a half-demon so I usually don't like to be here very long." she replied as they went to the tavern. She nodded to Malisaro's comment about not drinking in front of people. Out of respect for him she did not explain why. If anyone asked that would be his decision to let them know. Ever since they met she did not know what he looked like under the mask. She had never asked him to remove it out of respect but she always wondered what the mask hid besides his face.

She opened the door and in an instant got the heeby geebies again. Everyone looked at them as they entered and smiled. One of the bartenders took Umbra's cloak and welcomed them in. She looked around. "This place is freaky. They all have the same smiles, the same expressions, the same looks. Too weird." she whispered to the others. "AHH come in. Shall I get you a table or will you require a room?" he asked. She turned to the others wondering if they will want a room immediately or if they would want to stop for a drink.

The Prince of Nature - July 31, 2006 09:48 PM (GMT)
Prince followed the others and walked inside the Pub. He looked around and saw people smiling. At first there smiles made him smile. Untill when Umbra said they had the same smiles and prince looked again and they did. Hmmm Freaky he thought to himself. He didnt want to be rude to anyone so he kept his comment to himself. When the Bartender asked if they wanted a room or a table and Umbra looked at Prince and the other guys, Prince replied,"Doesnt really matter to me."

Malisaro - July 31, 2006 10:07 PM (GMT)
Malisaro follwed Umbra into the inn and looked around, it was immediatly obvious that seeing Umbra, a half demon, had an almost strange effect on the people, there weren't any half demon that he could see, mostly elves, half angels, humans, the usual bunch. But if the reaction to her was freaky it was nothing to what most people did when they turned their gaze to him, tall, scarred, his entire face hidden except for two blood red eyes. His whole body a mass of black, and littered with weopons.
"Evening" he muttered.
"This place is freaky. They all have the same smiles, the same expressions, the same looks. Too weird."
"I see" Malisaro muttered "I don't think they feel a thing, but..." He stopped short and looked over his shoulder.
He turned back passing it off.
"This is not natural" he muttered.
He hardly remembered the first thing about bieng cheerful and these people seemed too cheerful, the atmoshpere wasn't right. A creeping feeling that was freaking Malisaro out (and that's damn near impossible) and a ton of people with smilie 'happy go lucky' expressions.
"AHH come in. Shall I get you a table or will you require a room?"
"Yeah" Malisaro muttered in reply "make sure I'm not disturbed"

The Outcaster - August 1, 2006 09:40 AM (GMT)
Yondor approached Umbra. She appearantly had something to say also,"Yonder, what is wrong here? The Santuary of Angels is supposed to be a peacefull place where all races can come to relax but something strange is happening. The elderly couple said that no one leaves or has come in five years. I was here last month!".She leaned over to whisper to Yondor,"And I am feeling something strange. I cannot put my finger on it but there is something more to this than meets the eye. I am sure of it."."You an me both" a masked man said dressed in mostly black."I was about to ask you the same thing. There is something going on." Yondor replied to Umbra."Nice to see you again Umbra" the masked man "and I think you're right".Yondor looked at him and back at Umbra."Hey Malisaro. Thanks for the comfort, at least I know I am not crazy. Something is definately going on here and I don't know what." Umbra said back to the man,Malisaro.

A half-angel landed near them,,"Hi, my name is prince. Can you please tell me where i'm at. I'm kinda new to Arda. And where are all the people here. Are they on like a night cerfuew or something?".Yondor then looked at him."Its good to meet you Prince. This is Malisaro and Yonder." Umbra said pointing to the drow and the half-dragon."I am Umbra. But you are wrong about the cerfew. This city is known as the Santuary of Angels and is welcome to all races, even those who are not accepted are allowed to stay here, But this place is not what it usually is. There is a mysterious aura that surrounds this city and it makes this place seem unsafe."."Nice to meet everyone", Prince relpied,"Sanctuary of the angels. Hmm, maybe thats y i was drawned to here. An inn sure. So all the people are inside or something?? I mean if it is The Sanctuary of the Angels i would expect to be seeing alot of angels outside talking and stuff". Umbra looked around, the square was empty,"There is a tavern inn over there what do you say we head in and talk this over inside?".Yondor nodded,"Sure why not." Yondor replied.Yondor felt a weird eerie vibe.

Everyone walked into the tavern inn.Yondor again felt the dead weirdness."This place is freaky. They all have the same smiles, the same expressions, the same looks. Too weird." Umbra whispered to them."AHH come in. Shall I get you a table or will you require a room?" the bartender asked them."Doesnt really matter to me." Prince replied."Yeah" Malisaro muttered in reply "make sure I'm not disturbed"."I guess I'll take a room." Yondor said afterwards.

Umbra - August 1, 2006 08:13 PM (GMT)
"Alright, we will take four rooms sir." she replied, he nodded and handed each of them a key. "The rooms are through that door. If you wish anything else please let me know and I shall see what I can do." he replied. She took her key and went to the bar and ordered an ale. "Comming up ma'am" he said and handed her a drink. She led the way to a door and into a lobby where the rooms were. The lobby was surrounded by the rooms of the end and another level of rooms. She set the drink down and motioned for them to sit. "Okay so I think we are all in agreement that this place is creeping us out. So what do you think could be the cause. Because I know this is not right" she said as she sat down. Soon a man came up behind her. "You all seem lost, you are not people I would expect. More like outcasts of the world" he said in refrence to Umbra, Yonder and Malisaro. This place was ticking Umbra off. She sighed and said in a sarcastic tone. "What did you expect? The Lothlómendian Inquisitors?" she said in more of a sarcastic tone than she meant.

Zerozaki - August 1, 2006 08:27 PM (GMT)
QUOTE
"What did you expect? The Lothlómendian Inquisitors?"

The door was blown off its hinges and scarlet smoke entered the room. Zerozaki appeared, adorned in an immense red cloak. He was not alone. Behind him was almost 30 men wearing the same red cloak as Zerozaki. He gave a maniacal laugh and pointed his finger at Umbra. "No one expects the Lothlómendian Inquisitors!" He held his hand to his side. "Brother Maar! The book, if you please." A robed man pulled a large book adorned with a cross from a knapsack and handed it to Zero. He opened the book and began to read aloud.

"For crimes against the will of God, I place you and your motley crew under arrest and interrogation until Heaven decides otherwise. Come with us peacefully, or may the Gods smite you down! You have no choice, heretics!"

Zero's voice boomed through the small inn. The commonfolk were staring at the group wit ha look of uttermost hatred. Zero looked on; never blinking, never flinching with human weakness. Darkness seemed to exude from him as he beckoned for the 'heretics' to step forward and accept the Gods's divine punishment. "There is no escape. You are mine!"

The Prince of Nature - August 1, 2006 09:20 PM (GMT)
Prince took the key and followed Umbra into the bar. And ordered white wine. When he got his wine he went and sat with the others. He took a sip of his wine. It tasted sweet like the one in the Wilwarin Pub. The wine was a light yellow color. After Umbra mention the Lothlómendian Inquisitors Prince asked,"The Lothlómendian Inquisitors? who are they?"
Prince jumped a little bit and was startled when the door of the pub was blown off the hinges and 30 guys following a person in a red cloak came in. After the guy read the book aloud Prince replied,"What crimes we didn't do anything. And I'm no heretic!". Prince thought to himself, Going to heaven, hmmmm, that would be exciting if i wasn't going to be arrested. He put a hand on his sword just in case. Prince doesn't want to go to jail for something he didn't do. He didn't want to go to jail at all.

Malisaro - August 2, 2006 08:26 AM (GMT)
((Who's been watching too much Monty Python ?<_< ))

Malisaro followed the rest into the other room, he didn't order a drink, he hadn't had one in the last 200 years and he wasn't going to start now, after all he didn't need such petty things as food and drink to sustain him.
"You all seem lost," said a man "you are not people I would expect. More like outcasts of the world"
"What did you expect? The Lothlómendian Inquisitors?"
Suddenly a bunch of people wearing red burst throug the door.
"No one expects the Lothlómendian Inquisitors!"
"Oh brother" Malisaro sighed "I get enough of this ever time I start a bar fight"
"For crimes against the will of God, I place you and your motley crew under arrest and interrogation until Heaven decides otherwise. Come with us peacefully, or may the Gods smite you down! You have no choice, heretics! There is no escape. You are mine!"
Malisaro rolled his eyes and tapped the table in a bored fasion.
"Wrong" he replied "count the number of times I've had people try to arrest me, then count the number of times I've actually been arrested"
He stood up camly.
"Zero, now get out of my way amatures"

Aussa - August 2, 2006 09:02 AM (GMT)
Tee had woken up that morning with a creeping feeling down her spine, after walking around a bit she'd noticed that there was hardly anybody about, this puzzled her greatly. At about evening she had givben up and was sitting in the bar with her head leaning back, everybody else seemed to feel nothing and was bright and cheery. Even when a group of travelers that seemed unsuited to this city entered, it seemed a very mismatched group. A half demon, a drow, an angel type creature and a half dragon. And nobody dropped their expression.
"Too, wierd"
Tee muttered.
"AHH come in. Shall I get you a table or will you require a room?"
Yeah" the drow replied "make sure I'm not disturbed"
"I guess I'll take a room."
"Alright, we will take four rooms sir." the girl replied.
"The rooms are through that door. If you wish anything else please let me know and I shall see what I can do."
Tee turned her attention away from the travelers as they entered the room and went out of sight. She leand back on her chair then noticed a large bunch of people in red robes walking through the bar.

"Now what?"
she muttered to herself.
They knocked down the back door.

"No one expects the Lothlómendian Inquisitors!"
"Brother Maar! The book, if you please."

At this Tee's ears pricked, a traveling bunch of criminals? But then again these men didn't even knock and had burst open the door, talk about public. She had to make a decision and fast.

"For crimes against the will of God, I place you and your motley crew under arrest and interrogation until Heaven decides otherwise. Come with us peacefully, or may the Gods smite you down! You have no choice, heretics!"

The man looked back into the room, they all seemed afraid of him somehow, Tee made up her mind and silently drew her katana under the table.

"There is no escape. You are mine!"

"Bastard"
Tee muttered.
She geard a voice from inside the room, it sounded male and cracked somehow.

"Wrong, count the number of times I've had people try to arrest me, then count the number of times I've actually been arrested"
"Zero, now get out of my way amatures"
Another voice.

"What crimes we didn't do anything. And I'm no heretic!"
"Time to move"
she muttered.
She leazpt into the air landing behind the group of men and cutting one in the back of the neck with her katana.

"Whoops"
she said evily "clumsy me"

Umbra - August 2, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
Suddenly the door behind Umbra banged open she whirled and found Zerozaki in a red robe leading a bunch of others. "No one expects the Lothlómendian Inquisitors! Brother Maar! The book, if you please." he commanded. She raised an eyebrow. Now I know this is not right, something is definately wrong here. she thought. The last time she encountered Zerozaki was at the outdoor arena, and he was showing off and going head over heels for her. Suddenly a girl came in and slashed one of the men in red. "Wrong, count the number of times I've had people try to arrest me, then count the number of times I've actually been arrested" Malisaro said. "For crimes against the will of God, I place you and your motley crew under arrest and interrogation until Heaven decides otherwise. Come with us peacefully, or may the Gods smite you down! You have no choice, heretics!" She grabbed the katana the girl was weilding and put her hand in front of Malisaro. She lowered her head. "We will go peacefully...Well" she looked from the girl to Malisaro. "More peacfully than we have." she told him and lowered her head in submission. She gave a look at malisaro, younder and the others to play along. She gave Malisaro her smile telling him that she had a plan and to trust her. "We appologise for any misdeeds we have done. We are ignorant of the ways of this city and if we have caused any problems we will take the punishment" she said. Yea right. There is no way Zerozaki could be this way. I intend on getting out of here along with my friends, something is up. Way up." She turned to the people in the other room. They acted as if nothing was going on. She glanced at Zerozaki.

Zerozaki - August 2, 2006 10:19 PM (GMT)
"We appologise for any misdeeds we have done. We are ignorant of the ways of this city and if we have caused any problems we will take the punishment"

Zerozaki closed the book. His eyes were fixed on their leader. A blank and emotionless gaze, but a gaze nonetheless. "How dare you slay one of the brothers! You expect to be taken unpunished for this unholy action?!" His hand began to glow red. Everyone in the room took two steps back, including the rest of the Inquisition. "I understand the concieted nature of unbelievers like yourselves! But know this! The gods have graced us with their powers. Do not test me, or thou shalt have divine retribution to deal with!" His hand stopped glowing. The Inquisitors encircled the heretics, silent like a funeral procession. "I give you one last chance. It is true that you are outsiders; so either you leave here tomorrow, or you writhe in everlasting pain and misery. You have the agency of choice. Choose wisely or suffer the consequences." With this, he threw a vial to the floor, red smoke filling the entire inn for a brief moment. When the smoke cleared, no red cloak could be seen. The villagers had returned to their normal activities, as if nothing had changed. They didn't even treat the outsiders differently.

The innkeeper appeared at the top of the stairs. There wasa familiar smile on his face. "Your rooms are ready. Clean bedsheets, of course!"

Malisaro - August 3, 2006 09:17 AM (GMT)
Malisaro took a step forewards reaching for his longsword but noticed Umbra's hand outstreached.
"We appologise for any misdeeds we have done. We are ignorant of the ways of this city and if we have caused any problems we will take the punishment"
Malisaro sighed and lowered his hand, but still retained a firece glare at Zero, he could wipe them all out without even touching them if he wanted.
"I understand the concieted nature of unbelievers like yourselves! But know this! The gods have graced us with their powers. Do not test me, or thou shalt have divine retribution to deal with! I give you one last chance. It is true that you are outsiders; so either you leave here tomorrow, or you writhe in everlasting pain and misery. You have the agency of choice. Choose wisely or suffer the consequences."
"You can decide that for yourself" Malisaro said "I'm not leaving, and there is no torture worse than what I've suffered already"
Malisaro's hand balled into a fist.
"You amatures aren't even worth wasting a single spell on"
More red smoke filled the room and the gang of people were gone. Malisaro was extremely annoyed.
"Bloody cowards" he muttered "if I got my hands on him..."
He turned his gaze to the human who had cut down one of them.
"Okay then, if we have till tommorrow then you may as well tell us who you are" he asked her.

Aussa - August 3, 2006 09:51 AM (GMT)
"How dare you slay one of the brothers! You expect to be taken unpunished for this unholy action?!"
"Oh get a grip"
Tee said angrily "you expect to be taken seriously wearing something like that?"
She raised the katana again but the half demon had grabbed hold of it. Tee looked at her in amazement, she looked strong enough to tear these people apart and she was surrendering.

"You can decide that for yourself, I'm not leaving, and there is no torture worse than what I've suffered already. You amatures aren't even worth wasting a single spell on"
"Well, I'm not an outsider, and I'm not with them"
She pulled her katana out of Umbra's grip and leaped at Zerozanki, but before she could cut him in two the red smoke appeared again and he vanished. Tee wafted it away coughing slightly.

""Bugger"

The Prince of Nature - August 3, 2006 05:04 PM (GMT)
After Zero said we had to tommorow he red smoke appeared and then he disapeared. Then he looked around,"Hey guys. Look around. The villigers are acting normal alike nothing happened. I mean i would expect them to atleast hate us or something. It's like nothing happened. Maybe nothing did happen.",Prince said with confusion. He took a sip of his wine. He thought to himself, this place is messed up.

Umbra - August 3, 2006 05:12 PM (GMT)
Umbra gave a sigh of relief as she watched them go. "Bloody cowards" he muttered "if I got my hands on him..." Malisaro said and she could tell he was annoied that she got in the way. The girl pulled the katana out of her grip and attempted to slash them but failed. Umbra crossed her arms trying to get a hold of her own annoyance at the two of them, especially the stranger. "Bugger" the girl said. Umbra sighed. "Thank you both for not getting us killed but can we now admit there is something wrong here? Zerozaki knows nothing about spells. I know because he had me do a spell attack once but knew nothing of what I was doing. He also was going head over heels trying to impress me. And now he is somesort of lean mean spellcaster? I seriously doubt that this is the work of Zerozaki" she said as she let herself fall to the couch. It was obvious she was as willing as they were to slice up Zerozaki and his band but she had a plan.

She looked at Malisaro and gave him her half smile. "Something is up but for some reason what ever has been going on has not affected her. So my question is, Why? And why is it that Zerozaki is all of the sudden this top notch spellcaster. It does not make any sence." she said. She looked at them. "Lets just go to bed, we can talk about this in the morning." she said hoping that they would agree. She had an idea, and hopefully they would go along with it. But first she had to get some facts straight.

Ita the Reckless - August 3, 2006 07:11 PM (GMT)
"He warned you!" a loud voice came booming through the Sanctuary of Angels. The words literally shook the ground, sending two drunken citizens in the pub sliding off their chairs and falling like ragdolls to the floor. Outside, several angels and townsfolk looked upward in horror at the storm that was brewing. Razor-sharp shards of hail began to fall from the sky seconds later. "Ahh, the Sanctuary of Angels," the voice continued, "Haven't attacked this place since I was a mortal! Too bad I can't level the whole place. Not only does everyone smell strange, but I was tasked to destroy..." The sentence trailed off when four giant claws dug into a side of the roof. Shards of wood flew from every angle. The hand made one strong motion and the pub's roof peeled off, revealing the giant grin of Ita the Reckless, Goddess of Chaos. "...you." The deity was gigantic, her size currently affected by a devastating ability: Might of Chaos.

Hail poured into the pub and many took cover under tables, whose wood became lodged with ice. Ita didn't bother to block the projectiles from hitting her; they just slid off her helmet and armor. The goddess grasped the wall she was standing by with both her hands and smashed it downward. Now the pub was roofless, had three walls, and was filled with shards of ice. A satisfied smirk on her face, Ita's size became smaller and smaller until she was her regular height and weight. She calmly stepped over the rubble that was once one of the pub's walls, her Blade of War and Fever Sword clanging against the red-colored legplates that were a piece of her suit of armor. Mashaka, the Chaos Axe, lit aflame, sending blue flames into the air. The lupine goddess's ears were pinned back in anger but her expression was relatively calm, albeit slightly sadistical (as usual).

"Your punishment will be most severe, Umbra and friends."

Malisaro - August 3, 2006 08:47 PM (GMT)
"Thank you both for not getting us killed but can we now admit there is something wrong here? Zerozaki knows nothing about spells. I know because he had me do a spell attack once but knew nothing of what I was doing. He also was going head over heels trying to impress me. And now he is somesort of lean mean spellcaster? I seriously doubt that this is the work of Zerozaki"
"You call that magic?" Malisaro muttered "running away with a few bangs and flashes?"
"Something is up but for some reason what ever has been going on has not affected her. So my question is, Why? And why is it that Zerozaki is all of the sudden this top notch spellcaster. It does not make any sence. Lets just go to bed, we can talk about this in the morning."
"Sure, I'll tear him apart tommorrow"
Malisaro turned to leave when the hooribly familiar creeping feeling swept over him again.
"What the?" He muttered.
"He warned you!"
Malisaro looked back around, the voice was coming from above.
"Aw crap" he muttered "you have got to be kidding me"
"Ahh, the Sanctuary of Angels, haven't attacked this place since I was a mortal! Too bad I can't level the whole place. Not only does everyone smell strange, but I was tasked to destroy..."
The roof was calved away and the giant form of Ita was revealed, now Malisaro identified the familialarity of whatever spooked him, and why.
"...you."
Malisaro raised his hand, the hail stopped short of hitting them but there was more on the way, he tossed it aside glaring at Ita.
"And why would you bother to dally with mortals?" He said "surely you'd rather be fighting someone who's a match for you"
Ita tore down a roof and leapt inside shrinking down to their size, Malisaro eyed the weopons on her belt, as numerous as his but far more powerful.

"Your punishment will be most severe, Umbra and friends."

"Can't be anything worse than what I've been through" Malisaro though to himself.
He turned back to the others.
"If I were you I'd get yourselves out as fast as you can" he said "none of us are a match for her, at least I'll finally get what I've been after for years on end"
He turned back to Ita with a determined expression on his face.
"So go on then goddess, kill me" he said "or let me go, your choice, grant my wish or return to your own realm"
You are trying to get yourself killed!
"Got it in one smarty pants"

Aussa - August 3, 2006 09:36 PM (GMT)
"Thank you both for not getting us killed but can we now admit there is something wrong here? Zerozaki knows nothing about spells. I know because he had me do a spell attack once but knew nothing of what I was doing. He also was going head over heels trying to impress me. And now he is somesort of lean mean spellcaster? I seriously doubt that this is the work of Zerozaki"
Tee punched the air in frustration.

"So some rake amature learns a few magic tricks, so what. The worl doesn't end just becase some guy could make smoke from thin air"
she said "and what on Arda were you playing at, I could have taken them apart there and then nothing more said, I don't need a bunch of random people telling me what to do"
The drow turned to leve but stopped suddenly, Tee looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.

"What's up with him?"

The answer came in a series of loud crashes, rumbles and voices. The roof was torn off and the goddess of chaos dropped into the room followed by a shower of hail. Tee took a causius step back.
[COLOR=red]"Your punishment will be most severe, Umbra and friends."

"Oh, well that doesn't include me then"
Tee said lowering her katana "have your fun then"
The drow suddenly stepped infront of the others.

"If I were you I'd get yourselves out as fast as you can, none of us are a match for her, at least I'll finally get what I've been after for years on end"
Tee eyeed him curiousley.

"Why? What are you seeking?"
but this became extremely obvious.
It was either Tee's imagination or the drow was standing between a goddess and her victims diliberatly.

"So go on then goddess, kill me, or let me go, your choice, grant my wish or return to your own realm"
"You've lost it"
Tee said in amazement "you have gone completely mad, you think you can stand up to her? Right that's it I'm out of here before I get diced in the crossfire"
She turned round and stepped back as an ice shard smashed on the floor infront of her.

"Or not"
she muttered.

The Prince of Nature - August 3, 2006 11:58 PM (GMT)
Prince stood up from his chair and stared at the goddess of war. And saw Malisaro stand up to her challenging her,"You know i might be a teenager and all but I'm smart enough to know that was a stupid thing to do. You got guts but do u seriously thing she is going to spear you",Prince said. He wanted to help but how??, he was just a 16 year old half-angel, he couldn't do anything, the only person that can be of a challenge to The Goddess of War is another Goddess or God.
