Stonewater - July 23, 2006 04:56 AM (GMT)
Stonewater sat beside the crystal pool that had formed at the base of the falls. It was a nice, quiet evening, with nothing but the sounds of nature to calm the spirit. Stonewater crouched beside the riverbank, playing his flute. Stonewater was large, even when crouched. His fur was black, brown, and white, and it rustled a bit in the slight breeze.

Then, Stonewater heard something approach. Abruptly ending his song, he stood up, and grabbed his staff, smelling the air to look for the newcomer.

Drate - July 23, 2006 08:34 PM (GMT)
Walking up to the fall, Drate in appearance was a 7ft1" quarter Orc, silhouetted by the light off the dieing sun a soft breeze slide across his face along with the spray of the waterfall which he enjoyed. The music he heard hadn’t been far off from where he was resting, although it had been nice, he really wanted to be in a quiet and lonely place, and that’s what he was going to make. The source of the noise was coming from the base of the falls, where some huge animal sat. Getting closer Drate realised that the animal was in fact a lupine like the one that had secured first mate on the Rage.

The music stopped, most likely because it had heard he was there, reaching out Drate put his hand into the water fall to. The water that flowed around his hand seemed to have a comforting feel. “I like the song but I would hope that you would leave now, better for your health.” His words where gruff but wavelike, combined it sounded waves crashing on Rocks. There was no mistaking a pirate accent there, and a lot of confidence.

Stonewater gave a frown as he saw the water elemental. His intimidation attempts didn't instill fear in Stonewater. Stonewater turned to face him, and the peircing gleam in his feral yellow eyes was disturbing, to say the least. Stonewater bared his gleaming white teeth, and growled deeply and menacingly.

"Whose rivers are these that a fool such as you can lay claim to them? Watch your step, and more so your tongue. I would hate to have to see you overstep your bounds and face the consequences. I have no quarrel with you, despite your rude speech. If you wish to stay here in peace, I shall not disturb you. What will it come to, then, stranger?"

Stonewater held up his staff in a defensive position, standing ready in case his opponent should attack.

Drate - July 24, 2006 08:13 PM (GMT)
Good question, but he did like to be alone when he was in amood lie this, either that or a fight. Lowering his boarding spear he came to the conclusion that they could always fight later. Putting his weapon on his back he sat down against a near by Rock keeping a weary eye on the Lupine. "my name is drate, i am one of the water, and a pirate. If you would like i shall show you my true form." without waiting he transformed, his real form was a blue lookingfolk, almost oozing water from its scails. "i can also meld into water slightly, become it."

Drate now looked to the lupines reactions, he wanted to see if he was impressed or not. But he had heard the only obvious expresions lupines gave where snarls and all looked angry. The Sun had died down futher still leaving the sky a darker blue and the stars shone brighter. Maybe there would still be time for killing later.
