Title: Remember what your father said...
Description: Anyone who wants to train, join.

Alisa - July 15, 2006 12:58 PM (GMT)
Alisa walked across to the training field. She needed to train everyday, otherwise she will become unfit and lazy and not want to practice her moves any more. Well, that was what her father said.

Alisa felt very stiff, after traveling around in Arda, she really wanted to train. She felt the need to... She unsheathed her sword as it came out with a ting sound, she smiled wryly. That is the best sound in the world for a Paladin, her father always said.

She focussed on her sword, putting herself into it, her energy released to train to be the best Paladin... That's what her father said... Her mother never approved of the business. She always wanted her brother to be the Paladin, but he went off and worked for a church somewhere out there. Her father tried to convince him that he wanted to fight as a Paladin, but her brother refused.

Now her father laid the weight on her shoulders, to be the best Paladin ever. To experience war, God and bloodshed, so that one day, she will bear children and teach one of them to become the new Paladin.

She then went back to focussing on the blade, then did a slicing motion, that soared through the air, like an eagle, looking for it's prey. Then a sharp blow downwards, the finishing move. It was a simple technique. Slash the oppnents head off and then make sure he's dead, by cutting an arm off too. Her father was very graphic at times...

Entering the training field, littletim needed to vent off his fury. He was practicing hitting the air with his mace. His style involved no technique just hit the opponent on the head until one of them feel over dead. One thing he was good at though was diving, flips and acrobatics to evade the enemy. he started doing these, his body rewarding him for the exercise with near-narcotic jolts of adrenaline making him gain energy instead of expend it - it made him finally feel free...
His only goal in life was to hunt down evil in any form he found it; but he took this aim to seriously and is going too far with his job.

san shou - July 17, 2006 07:47 PM (GMT)
San shou entered the training feild looking for a person to sparr with (not to the death) He saw a woman practicing her sword and a man flipping and doing other acrobatics.San shou began stretching in human form, his panther beside him stretched out.He did the splits and pulled his head down to his right knee, then his left.He rotated his hips loosening them.He then span his arms round first foreward then backwards. He dived intos foreward roll then stood. He lifted his right knee up then raised his leg up past his head and fell into the splits position,he brought his leg round to meet the other then sprang up.He began trying to attract the other people's attention by kicking and punching at lightening speed. His panther began chasing a small mouse for run.He cracked his knuckles then drew his nunchucks and began spinning them so fast you couldnt see where they were.He held them under his arm and made a strange sort of bowing motion to the air, then carried on.......

littletim - July 18, 2006 07:14 PM (GMT)
littletim noticed the newcomer enter the field, he noticed his attention seeking and noticed his black panther,''this should be fun''. As far from his path as littletim was he could remember how to spar, well,'it's just a bow and then smash their face in right? Oh but your not allowed to kill them, thats right' he said to no one in particular. Littletim was not very good at remembering his old ways especially those to do with courtesy.
The newcomer did stretches and warm ups; being professional and therefore infantilising littletim. Littletim did not like feeling small, he was embaressed, a feeling he was not used to and did not like. 'this newcomer better prove himself as worthy' he thought to himself.
He was getting angry and he new this feeling was the only one that got him through any fights, he harnassed this anger, letting it grow inside him so he could violently vent it in the fight he hoped would soon come.
He started pacing back and forth staring at the man trying to provoke the spar. He simply pointed at him and said ''you''.

san shou - July 18, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
San shou noticed a man pacing back and fore making a man angry before you fight makes them clumsy during the fight a valuable lesson well learned he thought.
The man pointed at him and said "you!"
San shou put away his nunchucks and without even aknowleging the mans existance began to side-kick into the air hoping it would provoke him even more
I dont like provoking men but it is the best way to keep your reactions sharp he thought.
Another good training routine is walking down a alley filled with thugs and pretend to be really weak, the thigs wil start on you and you practice defending yourself, there lesson is never under estemate your opponent,no matter how small
He continued ignoring the man.

littletim - July 19, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
'insolence' he whispered to himself 'what does this fool think he is doing?'. Tim couldn't hold his rage for much longer, he psyked himself up by slapping himself and headbutting the nearest object. ' must destroy' that was it he had gone like a dog chasing a rabbit, he ran at the man wildly attempting to dump tackle him to the floor, and ofcourse, hopefully break a few bones in the process.

(sorry for short post in a hurry)

san shou - July 19, 2006 09:16 PM (GMT)
He heared the footsteps of the man charing at him and leapt to the side attempting to knock the man on the head with his nunchucks.I will teach this man how to fightHe thought.
"lesson one, dont enter a battle with anger in your heart"He said.
He realized the man was stronger than he anticipated by the look in his eye's.
I better not underestimate this guyHe thought wisely.

littletim - July 20, 2006 04:47 PM (GMT)
The man moved! More insolence! Littletim had no time to reflect on these matters; he noticed a flash where the man was swinging his nunchucks down on to him. Littletim successfully managed to turn his headlong charge into a frontflip over the swinging nunchucks. 'This is skill, eh?' littletim thought to himself 'does come in handy then!' This he shouted out loud enough for his opponent to hear.
After sailing over the mans he landed perfectly on his feet, which looked rather funny for a man of his bulk. This meant war; littletim attacked in such fury and haste that he forgot to draw his weapon, but now he had time. He unravelled the twin chains of his dwarven flail and let them fall to the floor, creating two dents in the ground where the spiked weights fell.

san shou - July 20, 2006 08:18 PM (GMT)
San shou smiled as he heard his opponent say "this is skill,eh?"
this should be fun san shou attempted to hack with his nunchucks at his opponents legs and kicking at his face at the same time.
San shou would'nt hold back. This was a real fight but still he did not have the intention to kill his opponent, just train with him.
San shou positioned himself in a rooted Dragon stance and motioned for his opponent to come and get him.

littletim - July 22, 2006 05:20 PM (GMT)
There was a funny, placid feeling in the pit of littletims stomache, unused to it he passed it off for hunger. He looked again at his opponent and saw he was prepared for littletims attack, and then he realised what the feeling was; he was enjoying himself. he let this show on his face and simultaneously he felt ashamed. He blamed his mistake on the man in front of him,but new his normal rash attacks would not work on him so he feinted a charge and dived over him while attacking with his flail.

san shou - July 23, 2006 01:37 AM (GMT)
San shou stood their....just as the flail was about to strik him he turned to his elemental form. The blow caught him in the chest barely denting his rock extirior. He turned back to a human and jabbed out with his fist toward the mans face. His panther watched the fight then got side-tracked by a bird and went hunting.
This fight was turning out to be more difficult than san shou expected but he wasn't about to give up no way.His opponent may have one flail but in his eyes he had fist, elbow, shoulder, head, finger, knee, foot, mace and nunckucks to fight with,Not to mention his spells which he didnt use while sparring,as it was dissrespectfull.

littletim - July 28, 2006 09:04 PM (GMT)
Flying through the air, littletim noticed his opponent completely transform, yet he still flailed out with his weapon which was beginning to feel as though it was just an extension to his arm. His flail struck the rock creature where the human head had once sat but on this behemoth it was his chest. The business end of the flail just bounced off without a mark and littletim, well known for slow thinking let his suprise show. Rewarded for this break in concentration the creature turned back and punched him straight on the nose. There was a thing about his nose that tim hated, he himself didn't know what it was; but ever since he was a child anyone touching his nose would end up in the dirt missing fingers as his teeth were the closest weapons to his mouth. Tim charged at his opponent striking anything that came to close, including a bird being chased by a panther that was added to the grime on his flail. he was flailing at his opponent with fists, feet, teeth and very rarely his flail.

san shou - July 29, 2006 10:55 AM (GMT)
San shou watched the man as he began to flail around,He leapt back out of the mans range. He studied him and then realized that he was in a cloud of rage. Your gonna need to be faster than that Thought san shou. He transformed to an elemental and stepped at the ground as hard as he could causing it to shake hoping the mans balance was lost.Sans hou then transformed into his human state and whipped out with his leg kicking at the mans head with all his force.

littletim - July 29, 2006 07:45 PM (GMT)
Littletim's whirlwind attacks failed, his opponent simply jumped backwards out of range. He also turned back into the lumbering creature of rock and caused the very ground to shake tim's legs from beneath him but instantly turned back. As soon as he did turn back to his dormant state he lashed out with a kick; which was foolish as tim was knocked to the floor and was no longer wherre the kick was aimed. Seeing an opening in his betters' defences, he leapt off his back as his opponent was off balanced for the kick, and attempted a double kick into his chest.

san shou - July 30, 2006 10:04 AM (GMT)
San shou got caught off guard and paid the price for it as he got kicked in the chest. It'll takew more than a cheap shot to beat me He thought. San shou began kicking at the opponents legs. If i take his legs he cant kick
San shou then began exploiting oppenings in his opponents guard by throwing feints (fake moves) at hios opponent leaving gaps in the guard.

littletim - July 30, 2006 11:02 AM (GMT)
Littletim landed his kick but was instantly kicked when he landed. the opponent was attempting feints, but this didn't work as tim had contempt for any worry over safety and very rarely made any attempts to block ever. So he ignored his opponents faked kicks and tried to punch him a few times in the face hoping that he wouldn't have time to transform; otherwise there would likely be a few broken knuckles.

san shou - July 31, 2006 10:53 AM (GMT)
San shou's feints didnt work and he took three punches to the face before lifting his leg up and striking out with a front thrust kick towards his opponents face.
He then paused and drew his nunchucks, ready for his opponents next move.

(( ooc i forgot i had nunchucks =)))

littletim - July 31, 2006 11:14 AM (GMT)
'It was working' Tim thought to himself 'completely ignore the opponents attacks and you can hit him'. Tim landed punches on the mans face and was smiling as he could taste victory. But he realised what he was tasting was to sweet for victory. It was blood. His own blood. In his mindless rage his opponent managed to kick tim in the face and sent him backwards. When Tim regained his senses he was on his back. He needed to get up quickly so he didn't reveal any further weakness; he made a great sweeping action with his flail directed at the mans feet while jumping up to his own. He then kept his flail spinning in wide circles to try and keep this man moving. He slowly walked to him leaving the great metal weights to do their work.
