Sora was now at the Outdoor Training Arena in the Salquedor Grasslands with Ered. They had been traveling together for a while know and had become good friends. Now was the time however to teach Ered, once again, how to battle to defend himself. Sora had made two wodden swords during the night for them to use so that Ered, Or indeed Sora, ddn't get hurt during the training.
Sora was alone just now waiting for Ered to catch up, he was sure that Ered knew where to go as they had both been here before. Sora then began to train while he waited for Ered. He was still in his normal form, and had not transformed infront of Ered yet, so he was still wearing his normal white clothes. Sora beagn to swipe at the air with his wodden sword then quickly did a jump backwards.
Upon landing onto the hard ground again Sora looked up, some dust from the ground coming up to cloud Soras face. This place seemed good for training.. Sora just wished that their luck would not change... not yet. As both himself and Ered had been lucky to have not been attacked by someone or something by now. Sora really didnt want to have fight like that infront of Ered until he understood what was going on again. He may look like a man... but he acted like a lost child.. although he seemed to have grown up around Sora by now.
He then seen a figure walking closer to him from the distance and hoped that it was Ered so the training could begin, after all, the quicker they started it... the quicker it would end and then Ered would start to understand about the war again... Sora was praying however that once his memory was back Sora would still have Ered as a friend and ally.

The grasslands were a symbol of beauty this particular morning. As the familiar sight of the rectangular fenced area came into view, Ered felt a bit anxious. Sora and he had been there before, yet they hadn't really started a full-scale training session. Ered hoped that he wouldn't let his friend down.
Golden hair gleamed in the early sun as the man made his way to the southern end, where there was an opening in the fence. He stepped into the dusty square and saw Sora standing in the middle, swinging his sword in practice. Both the swords were wooden, Ered noticed with relief. He didn’t think he would be able to handle a metal one just yet.
As Ered approached his friend, he asked, “Sora, how are we going to start training?”

Sora then heard the voice of Ered saying “Sora, how are we going to start training?” Sora then smiled towards Ered and said "Right from the start... I think we should teach you how to hold and stand with your sword first for the best use. Then later on you can edit the stance to your own liking" He then walked over to Ered and handed him his wodden sword.
Once Ered hand the sword Sora then said "Ok shall we begin then my good friend..." He looked back at Ered as he waited on his reply, Sora was not going to go to far quick....

Ered felt the wooden hilt in his hand. The weapon was light and the Caeste tested its feel in his hand. Despite what he had originally thought, Ered was quite comfortable with the weapon in his hand. An unusual ectasy began to fill the golden haired man as he stared at the weapon, and he turned back to Sora in question.
"I might be slow, but I'm not that slow. Please continue."

Sora laughed a little as Ered said "I might be slow, but I'm not that slow. Please continue." He then walked back so they were apart and looking at each other. Sora then had an idea, he said to Ered "First of all... show me what you feel you can do first, you never know, the fighting abbility may still be there.. just waiting for a weapon." Sora then looked on to see what Ered would say or do in reply to this.

At Sora’s request, Ered felt a pang of uncertainty. Although he enjoyed the feel of the hilt in his hand, and he was eager to train, he didn’t think he had much to offer at the moment. Still…
Ered took a few steps away from his friend so he wouldn’t hurt him by accident, and his boots made a crunching noise in the dirt. He was wearing a brown tunic now, because his original white robes were torn. However, they were a link for him in a way, so he had left the robes with their equipment.
Ered turned around slowly and held the sword out in front of him, facing Sora. He closed his eyes, as though searching for something within him. Something…maybe that he had forgotten…
As he did this, Ered suddenly started thrusting and swinging the little sword with ease. He turned on his heels and ducked and parried, as though he was fighting invisible enemies. This carried on for a moment but it ended abruptly when Ered opened his eyes. He seemed confused, as though he didn’t know what happened.
“…Sora..what…?”
Nitara - July 12, 2006 09:42 PM (GMT)
Sora watched on as Ered closed his eyes. Thats when he seen it... Ered was showing lots of different attack and blocking patterns as he trained there. Soras eyes widdened as he looked at Ered do this... so deep inside he was some type of warrior then.... He then heard Ered say “…Sora..what…?” Sora just smiled and let out another laugh as he said back to Ered "Oh nothing.... nothing at all..."
Erethias Juniaeh - July 12, 2006 10:00 PM (GMT)
Ered felt odd, as though something was urging him to go on. There was something within him that seemed to be sparked, something he couldn't quench. He gripped his little wooden sword with determination then walked toward his friend. "Teach me everything, Sora! I think this might help me remember!"
((Bah...length, length, length))
Nitara - July 12, 2006 10:29 PM (GMT)
Sora nodded once again as Ered said "Teach me everything, Sora! I think this might help me remember!" Sora then said "Of course I will... but i might not be too good... im better with keyblades than swords..." Sora then placed his wodden sword to be pointing at Ered and said once more "Lets begin then friend..." and with this Sora moved forward with a basic sword attack towards Ered
((lol me too ))

Ered brought up his weapon with a flick of his wrist. Sora's wooden blade hit his own, and there was a loud clacking sound from the impact. Ered instantly retailiated and swung his weapon toward Sora. He didn't want to hurt his friend so he was holding back, just a little.
Nitara - July 13, 2006 10:36 AM (GMT)
Sora seen Ereds attack coming to him and quickly jumped back, He then smiled at his friend and said "You doing great keep it up, but dont hold back on me. I have a few tricks to show you anyway..." He then ran towards Ered and made three strikes to his left and a further three to his right seeing if any would meet their marks.
Erethias Juniaeh - July 13, 2006 10:59 PM (GMT)
The first strike to Ered's right hit its mark because he wasn't quite prepared. However, the Caeste instantly retaliated and raised his own feeble weapon. He ignored the dull pain in his side and blocked the rest of his friend's attacks, his eyes slightly wide. Realizing Sora was serious about training him, Ered decided to get a bit serious himself. Using as much speed as he could, Ered dove toward Sora's side, trying to swipe at him as he did. He turned his dive into a roll then turned around to see if he hit.
Nitara - July 14, 2006 10:46 PM (GMT)
Sora had seen his first attack go through, and then he seen the change in Ered, he was finally fighting back. The training was going well and then Ered managed to hit Sora. Sora was tempted to go into his battle or warrior form but the might have to early yet to do that to Ered. Instead he smiled at his friend and then once again dashed forward for an attack. Sora seem him crouched so he jumped over Ered and made for a shift attack towards the mans open back.
Erethias Juniaeh - July 15, 2006 11:44 AM (GMT)
Ered hadn't let his defenses down. Quickly rolling to the side and bringing up his sword to parry, the Caeste was unscathed, if not dirty. Instantly, he was back on his feet, his wooden sword held out evenly. Deciding to attack again, Ered rushed foward, swinging his sword left and right to confuse Sora. He faked a left blow to the ribs, then at the last second changed his strike from the right, aimed toward Sora's feet. This was meant to knock him down. Ered was beginning to feel the rush of the battle, and didn't seem to want to stop.
The day wore on in this manner, Ered doing his best to show what he could do and Sora countering it. However, it was apparent that Ered had powers now, and could defend himself. So it was that he left his friend, and set out to journey by himself.
