Kerowyn - July 6, 2006 07:26 AM (GMT)
It was just past nightfall when the door to Wilwarin Inn and Pub swung open and Kerowyn slowly strode in, his black cloak waving in the wind. The sound of the pitter-patter of rain of the celing normally drove Kerowyn crazy, but tonight it didn't matter. He pulled his black hair back, out of his face and glanced around the bar.
It was fairly busy for a dark and stormy night such as this one. No one stuck out to Kerowyn, but then again it was only a glance. He soon called one of the barmaids over and ordered a shot of vodka. he quickly downed it and ordered another. Just a half and hour later he had downed several shot, not remembering the actual number. He was now slightly drunk, not toally due to his alcohal tolerance, but still had his calm.

((I might as well try my luck with a drunken assassin :D))
A flash of lightning illuminated a dark figure as the crash of thunder shook the quaint, little pub. The smell of iron wafted through the air as the rain pelted the dilapidated, slate roof. Outside, the sinister silhouette walked strided against the cobblestone streets. The murky puddles rippled with the man's footsteps as his blood-red robes billowed under him. Ominous clouds stood poised above the streets of Lomedor, as if waiting to rain down upon the city in a merciless attack.
Deep in the shadows of the city's labryinth stood the miscreants and vagabonds that plagued the lands, their stench permeating the air with a malignant odor. Their eyes looked hungrily upon the dark figure, the hood of his robe concealing his face and the deadly arsenal concealed within him. Looking to his right, the figure discovered his target, the Wilwarin Inn and Pub. Cleverly concealed within the alleys of Lomedor, the mage decided to surprise the owner. However, a sudden lunge erupted from the street's dark inhabitants, desperate for food, money, valubles. Anything that would ensure their life for one more day.
Instantly, a flash came out of the dark figure's hands as he put an abrupt end to the vagabond's pitiful life. At the mage's feet lay the lifeless body of an alchoholic who would buy nothing except alcohol. Holding his faithful broadsword, Green Destiny, in his hands, the entire pack of miscreants and beggars pounced upon the mage, as he teleported throughout the alley. After five minutes, the blood of his victims soon mixed with that of the rain, purging the streets of the beggars' existance.
Another flash of lightning lit the city, showing the mage's path littered with that of the forgotten dead. A gust of wind soon snaked its way to the city, as the solar wind gradually erased the mage's victims from the face of the earth.
With a sudden slam, the pub immediately silenced itself, all heads turning towards the stranger, as the mage wiped the blood of his blade against his crimson robes. Rainwater dripped from his garments, leaving a faint trail behind him as the bartender cautiously walked up to the newest patron.
"Looking for anything special?" the bartender inquired in his usual rough tone, careful to not procure the wrath of the mage. Slowly, the figure's golden orbs glared at the plump man, making himself seem taller than life.
Baring his razor-sharp canines, the mage glared at the bartender uttering a single word, "Ale." Immediately, the bartender rushed away from the figure, and returned with a large wooden mug of ale, making sure to quickly walk away. The less time he spent with this figure, the better.
Snow Strangehail - July 6, 2006 07:22 PM (GMT)
The sound of heels running against the cobble stones outside were heard. A woman ran she knew she was being followed by someone or something, she slipped on the the wet surface and was now very wet and muddy. She ran to the nearest inn she could find, bursting open the doors catching her breath.
The bartender came over the ask did she want anything and before he had a chance, she inturupted "Nothinng i'm fine"She said still catching her breath and she ran upstairs The creeking of the stairs caught everyones attention.A loud knock on the door was heard from upstairs."What your not suppose to be here yet" came from the voice of one woman"look i was being chased so i came to the nearest inn the one you said you would be in"Said the other woman "look snow i dont have time for your silly games i'm going back to bed"[/COLOR[COLOR=purple]]"No,no you cant i need you, i need you to protect me he was after me he is going to kill me"Said snow pleading with the other woman"Goodbye snow"said the woman as she shut the door"I could die, just think that will be on your mind untill you burn in hell you selfish ......Snow did'nt realize how loud she said that last part so she did not finish the sentence.
She decided to go down stairs and get a drink, afterall this could be her last night alive. As she walked down the stairs a few people glared at her so she pulled up a seat at the bar"What will it be?"asked the bartender"Something so strong i won't remember tonight"said snow and waited for her drink.
Kerowyn - July 7, 2006 08:16 AM (GMT)
Kerowyn sat still, paying no heed to the man who had just entered the bar. He was no doubt trying to draw attention to himself, though Kerowyn was guilty of it most of the time, it still bothered him. The man came over and sat just a few seats away from Kerowyn before asking the bartender for some ale.
The first thing Kerowyn noticed about the man was that he was not all human. There was a slight puff in the back of his cloak, hardly noticably, but Kerowyn keen senses picked it up, even though of his slight buzz. Another thing was the unnerving demeanor that seemed to follow him around. Non-humans always intrigued Kerowyn, he found that once you've met a human, you've met them all.
Kerowyn scooted over a few chairs until he was next to the mysterious man, and said "Hello Sir, what brings you to this place?" Men like that never just hung around towns, reminissing with old townsfolk, this man had an agenda and Kerowyn was determined to figure it out.
The next person who entered had obviouly been running for quite a while, and seemed weary. The woman wasted no time, running up the stairs and yelling about someone chasing her and burning in hell. As she sat at the bar, Kerowyn looked over his shoulder and smiled a grim smile, barring his long fangs.
san shou - July 8, 2006 11:16 AM (GMT)
San shou's wirey frame entered the pub,the lightening emphasising his broad shoulders. He looked around he saw quite a few different groups drinking, laughing, shouting etc but something caught his attention,an assasin smiling with long fangs protuding from either side of his lips
whats he staring at? I then noticed a woman,a young woman who looked like she could use some friendly company.
"hello miss, mind if i pull up a seat?"
San shou liked listening to others problems, first of all because he liked helping people and talkin about your problems normally helps and secondly because it took his mind of his own problems.
People always said he was good to talk to,tho he never realized why.
He looked at her with a friendly smile.
then his attention returned to the assasin he turned his head to see if he was still looking...
Snow Strangehail - July 8, 2006 12:18 PM (GMT)
Snow laughed at the man that had shown his fangs she had gotten into a fight with a vampire once luckily a mage was there to also help,She saw a man approach her and ask"hello miss, mind if i pull up a seat?" "No not at all, come and sit down, so what brings you here?" She asked looking over her drink
The weather outside was awful trees were nearly being snapped in half, the small group of people in the pud started to grow more and more, people barged in ,easliy known a fight would soon break out.
san shou - July 8, 2006 10:31 PM (GMT)
San shou sat next to her.he called over the bartender.
"can i get some mead please, and whatever m'lady would like"
He turned his head toward the woman.
"i just came in here to get out of the cold, and i came in here to make sure no fights had broken out,i travel all over you see helping people indifferent situations.
And what about yourself, what brings you here?"
He felt the tension of the pub rise.
If a fight broke out he would be ready to stop anyone from getting hurt.
He loved pubs, the fact that usualy everyone was social suited him,tho he mostly liked to listen he also enjoyed sharing storeis to anyone who cared listen.
San shou stretched as the coldness of the outside cramped him up.
