The sun was just setting over the hill. Rayn had been training with his sword in the morning. A few of his sword buddys told him that there was a chest hidden somewhere in this dead area. So far Rayn had found nothing and it was begining to get dark. I bet they where lieing. I've really got to stop letting my greed take control over me. I might as well rest here for a bit and then make my way back to the training ground. Rayn sat on a broken tomb stone and watch the sun go down. He heard a scream come from somewhere and jumped to his feet. I quickly stopped. He sat back down and put his hand on his sword hilt just to remember he had his sword.

Rayn got up and began to make his way back to the training ground. It was a long walk a few miles. But he knew it wouldn't be too hard. He had only taken three steps when he caught his ankle on something. Rayn looked down and saw a bone hand gripping his ankle. Rayn quickly shook his foot free and looked around. His eyesight was almost perfect in the dark. He noticed a person running towards him with amazing speed. He then noticed it was an eight foot tall skeleton. Rayn drew his sword but it got to him in a flash. The skeleton gripped Rayn's throat and picked him off the ground.

Rayn's feet where just hanging limply and all his kicking was doing nothing. Rayn used the hilt of his sword to wack the skeleton in the side of the head but it did nothing. The skeleton knocked the top of its head into Rayns face. Rayn saw silvery white dots infront of his vision. He felt him self blacking out. He grabbed the skeletons head with both hands and twisted it as hard as he could. The skeletons head came off and rolled along the floor. Rayn pushed the body off of him as it dropped him and he had landed on his back. Rayn got up to his feet and noticed all sorts of monsters all over the place. Rayn began to run for his life. Slashing at anything which got in his way.

He jumped over a skeleton dog and twisted his ankle as he fell. The dog climbed over him and tried to bite at his face. Rayn stabbed the dog though where its heart should of been and the dogs red eyes went blank and it fell to the floor. Rayn jumped to his feet and found he could not run anywhere the monstered where all around him.

In the trees a big shadow could be seen a womans voice was heard singing the clouds opened and a dragon flew down slashed all the monters with its wings and made a circle with its breath made the circle decrese in size just to get the small skeletons and still not harming the man in the middle Most of them were just flaming corpses a loud voice was heard "dissmissed" and the dragon flew back into the sky and with a glimmer of light was gone the shadowed figure in the trees jumped down and stayed for a minute to see if he was ok and if anymore movement from the corpses appeared offenssive.

Rayn looked up. He saw the dragon. It was the first Dragon he had ever seen and he could not get the picture of it out of his mind. The power of the creature was amazing. He looked over at the person who must of comanded the Dragon to save him. "How can I thank you?... I was done for." Rayn said. He felt like he needed to thank somehow.

The woman kept silent ,shook her head and smiled then she turn to him "i saw someone in trouble and helped,no need to repay me " Snow glanced the man up and down"First time seeing a dragon was it?"she said as she waited for a reply

Rayn laughed. "Yes, could you tell? It was an amazing creature." He put his sword away now feeling safe. Rayn had never been so scared when he was fighting those monsters. With men you could just stab them and they would die. But with those skeletons his sword pretty much nothing.

"Well you did seem very amazed by it" she said with a smile "These are dangerous parts, Strange you were'nt out here with anyone Else, Searching for something or someone Were you ?"She said waiting for a reply "Anyway its good to see you safe..... i'm snow by the way"and she went to shake his hand.

Rayn took Snows hand and smiled. "Call me Rayn." He laughed. "Searching for something... Yes as usual I am searching for treasure. I think it is about time I gave up though and fought for the Light. Chaos and Evil guilds are driving me crazy." He looked around and shivered. There was a cold wind which seemed to stab at his bones. "What about you? Do you love power or would you rather protect the weak?" Rayn asked still looking around. He had desided this not a great place to be in and it smelling bad. Rayn vowed to punch his friends in the nose when he saw them again. This place was not a very funny joke.

Snow flicked back her hair "Searching for treasure"she laughed "Now who told you there was treasure out here"She said in a different tone of voice"What about me?"she asked"well i'am caught up in a few Complications" She did'nt want to admit someone was after her trying to kill her"so i came here to clear my mind.The smell of the flaming corpses was getting too much for her,so she started breathing through her mouth.

Rayn looked around and nodded his head. "Yes we should leave this place. I don't know why we are standing here anyway." He started to lead out of the horrible place. "You know if you ever need help. I will do what ever I can. After all you saved my life. I might not look like much. But I have plans... Big plans." He laughed. "So where did you learn to make friends with dragons where you born with the gift?" Rayn asked. The dragon had really amazed him.

Snow started to follow after him finally being able to breathe through her nose again she smiled as she said "You really have a thing about dragons dont you, .......and i Appreciate you willing to do that for me .....i mean if i was in trouble ahh...thanks i think thats what i'm trying to say"She blushed as she tried to change the subject her hair changing to a light foxy colour."That dragon ..... back there it just gets hypnotized by the singing its a ..kinda gift called dragonsong"She said looking into the trees,nearly falling over her feet."So you have big plans do you? always good to plan for the furture..."She laughted tinking would she even have one by the end of the day.

Looking into the trees and watching them blow from side to side was making snow very Cautious.What if he is watching me now in the trees damm him, hes follows me everywhere i'm so sick of it,if he wants to kill me then why does'nt he,i mean hes had plenty of chances in the past,like the time i was right in front of him and he missed stabbing me with that dagger,Hes either got very good aim or very bad aim.She thought to herself.

It was starting to turn dark now and the wind was picking up a bit.Usually bandits patrolled in woods such as these waiting for a poor soul to pass by and mug them. What a Pathetic existence reallySnow thought.The wind mimicked whisphers as it blew through the trees,nocturnal animals also patrolled as they waited in darkness for their prey.Suddenly all went quite not a branch creeking,not crickets or any insects making annoying noises,all that were haerd were the footsteps of two people walking a lonely road"Do you hear that?"asked snow as she listened and looked around.

Rayn kept on alert the whole time he had been walking. There was something about these woods which was not right. He felt his hand itching to grab his sword. He felt eyes on his back. Suddenly every thing was quite. "Do you hear that?" Snow said. Suddenly a flock of birds flew out of a tree. Rayn drew his sword. "No I didn't hear anything... But something isn't right." He searched though the trees and looked for anything that could a danger to them.I could be bandits... But I'm sure I would of noticed if it was bandits...

"Exactly its too quite thats why we cant hear anything someone else is here"Snow said quickly as she drew her staff.She heard a rustling in the trees, three knife like blades were thrown out from the trees and slashed snows cheak and were pinned into the tree beside her, she quickly put her hand on her cheak and looked at the blades in the tree she pulled them out with her left hand her right hand covered in blood and er staff on the ground, she examined the blades,she recognized them and took a deep breathas she looked back at the trees "it came from the trees" she said as she used minior heal on her face , the tone of her voice was clam for someone who nearly had 5 inch blades stuck in her face.what do you want now? you finaly caought up with me havent you she thought, she picked up her staff and rubbed her face.

Rayn looked up at the trees where the blade had come from. He turned to check Snow was alright.That was close... Rayn whispered though the side of his mouth. "We are dealing with a professional..." He held his sword above his head in a defencive sword stance. "It seems that who ever is trying to kill us it too much of a coward to face us. They have to run and hide." He shouted up to the trees.

Rayn waited but nothing happened. A knife came flying though the air. Luckly Rayn's lightning fast reactions came into play. He leaned to the side and caught the knife by the handle. "You are not very good with knives are you?" He shouted up to the trees and threw it back as hard as he could. If Rayn's reflexed hadn't done anything he knew he would of been dead.

"He's teasing us"She said "like a cat playing with a mouse, teasing it then eventualy kills it" that how snow felt most of the time.There was a shadowed figure in the trees, hard to see it without any light though."What to do now"she asked "We cant let him get away"She said .He has destroyed my life, when he killed my mother my herat broke ..... [/I]."I'am going after him"and she ran into the trees.[I]He probaly wants to get me on my own anyway....

It was hard to see in the dark the moon was her only light, "come out now and face me, i dont think your getting your gold to keep me alive are you?"she snapped "Calm down snow no ones gonna hurt your little face...for now" said some one in the trees, she drew her staff again. "whos that man your with snow" he asked "leave him out of it he's not the one your after , so you gonna show your face or hide like the coward you are?"she snapped once more, all he did was laugh as he came from the shadows "You haven't changed much"he said "i haven't changed......,Y-youve been stalking me nearly every day how could i possibly change"she said as she laughed. "It dosen't have to end like this snow"he said walking closer "No, it does, you wanna know why cos i'm sick of wondering everyday...., will this be my last...its ends here"she said pulling back from him.

Rayn saw snow running towards the trees. Shes going to get herself killed... I might as well get killed with her. Rayn ran after Snow and just managed to catch up. "Hello, we should let him get away. We might stay alive that way..." He said. Rayn was in rush to die he had many plans ahead of him.

Rayn rolled his eyes. There was no way was he going to leave a women so she could get killed by a professional assassin. Rayn ran after her and though some trees. He saw the man standing infront of Snow. Rayn pointed his sword at him. "If you want to kill her you will have to come though me... As you saw eariler, I'm not easy to kill." He said grinning. Rayn held his sword above his head in a defencive sword stance. This sword stance allowed him to move in any direction fast. He could defend amazingly from it and also bring his sword down to attack.

Snow looked at Rayn "Look i Appreciate what your trying to do here .....but ....hes going to kill me one way or another,hes not going to go through you to get to me hes been chasing me half my life!" she said worriedly, She could she her personality changing before her eyes this always happended when memories from the came up .She looked back her eyes scanned to woods for him he had clearly left."We need to find somewhere to stay out here, theres no house place for a least 4 miles,we should set up camp" she was dissapointed she had lost him again.I'll get you again she thought to herself.

Rayn nodded. "Ok this is as a good as spot as any. I will go and get some fire wood." He said. Rayn walked off and began picking up chunks of wood. He didn't like these woods. It still felt like they where being watched. Infact he always felt this. Rayn shrugged his shoulders and looked around for some more wood.

Snow sat down on a log and streached.She heard wolves howl in the distance.She still felt the scar on her cheak,She put her head in her hands and thought.What am i gonna do next i almost got the two of us killed Why am i so stubbern, she clenched her fist as a tear fell down her cheak she quickly wiped it away and ran her hands back through her hair and shook her head she wanted to get out of here as quick as possiblie.Morning will come soonShe sighed as a shiver went down her spine these woods had an Strange feel to them.

Rayn walked back to where snow was sitting. He heard a wolf howl and shiver went down his spine. "I have the wood. It will be good to get a fire going, warm our bones up, not to mention it will keep the wolves away." He put the wood into a triangle shape. Rayn drew his sword and took some flint from his pocket. Rayn striked the flint across his sword and a spark started the fire. "Almost as good as magic." He said and smiled. Rayn could sense a sad mood around Snow.

Kirana walked in the darkness. She didn't feel the cold that night, but shivered nonetheless...because she felt that the moon was gone...

Kirana felt lonely.

More lonely than she has ever been. Her love been killed in front of her.... she gave a huge sigh. This wasn't the way life should be. She had a new relationship and a new future to think with it...but he is a lich...she has a relationship with a lich...something has got to give...

She then saw two people sitting by a fire. A knight...it looked like a beautiful woman. It looked like she was crying...but about what?

Kirana stepped closer, into the warm firelight, her silver eyes flickering in the semi-darkness. "Is there something wrong here?" she asked very tentively. Her voice was hushed with respect because she noticed that something was very aweing about the knight...what looked like.

"Excuse me sir, but might I ask your name. I think I know from somewhere..."

Rayn looked up at the new person who had appeared. He stood up to his full hight. "I am Rayn al Boha. I am a training to become a knight and defender of the light." He said and bowed. "Would you like to join our fire?" He said smileing.Hang on what has come over me... I dont know her... She could be an assassin... Rayn didn't know what but he just trusted the new comer.

"These woods are not safe for someone such as self wandering around alone." He said and poked the fire with a stick. Rayn looked around the woods once more. They did have a weird feel to them. Rayn was usually good at sensing what sort of person someone was. He could tell the new comer wasn't evil. But there was something else, he could not put a name to it though.

Kirana smiled and heaved a big sigh. His voice sounded comforting and familiar... almost like Ronnoh's... "I don't think I know you, and you don't look like a member of the assasins guild,"she said quickly and quietly.

She sat on one of the logs and put her head in her hands.
"I was scared and alone out there and I didn't know where I was going," said Kirana shortly, trying to fight back tears. Memories flashed so quickly in her dazed mind...about Ronnoh....about the village...

She looked up Rayn. Ooh, he's cute! He looks like Ronnoh... go for him! she thought with a wry smile. No, don't think that, don't think that. I'm involved in a relationship. she told herself sternly.
With a Lich said her other part of herself. You deserve better, by gods, yes.
"NO!" Kirana shouted out loud.

She stood up and stared at the inky sky, scattered with stars. She wanted to cry... let it all out... but to a stranger? What if he's telling a lie about who he is? She was so scared...

...and alone.

Rayn looked around at the two women he was with.Great, I'm stuck with two women who are going to cry... Well my saying is protect those who need protecting... I can't be doing anything wrong... Rayn's mind went blank. He noticed Kirana's eyes.Silver eyes... With no pupil... What on earth. Rayn looked closer. "Are you ok... There is something different about your eyes..." He said hoping she wouldn't find it as an insult. Rayn noticed girls often did find things as an insult.Mind she is very pretty... And the mystery around her just make me like her more... Hang on back to reality, Stranger who I dont know just popped up with weird eyes...

Kirana looked around at Rayn. "My eyes?" she said. "Oh, they're normanly like that. That's just how they are. I guess..."

Her stomach had butterflies in them. This feeling she never felt before, not even with the lich. She eyed him, up and down, and noticed his hair. Jeez, it's exactly like Ronnoh's hair she thought to herself. Those curly locks... how I used to play around with them while we were siiting in the field... she thought wistfully.

She stopped herself, gasped, and gripped herself mentally. She sighed again and sat down next to the knight. She turned towards him and studied him carefully...detail by detail... as she bit her lip...

"i'm sorry i di'nt catch your name" asked snow Cautiously, I dont trust her anything she says could be lies, lost how do we know she wasn't following us huh, it all sounds too convenient i mean we are in the middle of nowhere, why is my personality changing it's one thing to go from bad to good but i feel i'am going back to the way i was before i seem to be snapping at everyone , it must be the memories, yeah it has to be that.Snow though, she looked as if she were day dreaming and looking into the fire,not even listening for a reply from the woman.

Kirana jumped from her daze of looking at Rayn. It's hard not too look at him! His curly hair, his sparkling eyes... Darn!

"Oh, so sorry, my name is Kirana, I'm a half-dragon, I hope no one's against that and I don't think I'm an assasin either," said Kirana, standing up and doing a florid bow and blushing afterwards...

Why am I blushing?

She gave a reassuring smile at Snow, hoping she would gain her trust. She was neutral and didn't mean to hurt anyone... she was just lost...

...and alone.

"Ahhh thats nice,no i have nothing against half dragons, and he on the other hand loves dargons so i'm sure you'd get along great together" Snow said forcing a sarcastic smile on her face and looking over at Ryan"I"m sorry would the two of you excuse me for a moment i just Remembered something about the woods i gotta go check out i'll be back soon,it will give you two a chance to get to know each other" and she got up and left into the darkness

Whats happening to me i'm going crazy, this cant be happening, something must have happend to me I'm turning back into her i cant i wont let her take control, but what could have triggered it?, meeting ryan nearly being killed by that damm assasin,i've got to sit down some where, and think over my options She thought as she went to a near by waterfall and sat down."The water will calm my nerves " she said quitely

Kirana blushed again when Snow replied. She thought that they were together. She looked at Rayn. He's certainly handsome enough... She then burst into silvery peals of laughter. It broke the tension and warmed her heart and after a while she stopped and went up to Snow.

"I know there's something wrong," the half dragon said quietly. "You can tell me, and I can tell you mine." She put a light hand on her shoulder. "I'm not an assasin or a pirate thief...yet. You can trust me... for now."

She gave Snow a reassuring smile to show as proof that she can really trust a stranger like herself to tell what is flashing past in her mind. Maybe she has the same problem too... Maybe she's also lost a love...

Rayn shrugged his shoulders.I always end up with women. They are crazy... Not to mention dangerous. A princess nearly had my head cut off once... I'm never going to kiss a princess again even if she is as forward as a farm girl. Hmm but this one is half dragon... Half Dragon... I mean thats just amazing... He thought to him self and then realised she had asked a question.

Rayn laughed.Trust her... How can I not trust anyone who looks her. Oh no i can't look into her eyes. Ahh they have me caught now. Rayn pulled his eyes away from hers. "Well it all happened when I desided to walk into this grave yard which my friends had told me there was some kind of treasure." Rayn paused.I might as well try to make my self sound heroic even if I did get beaten up by skeletons... "Anyway It got dark and out of nowhere these skeletons appeared. I drew my sword, and mind I'm quite good at using it. So it was me against about ten skeletons. I gave them my best. But my sword didn't seem to be affecting them. So i had to run for it. It ended up that all the exits where blocked... and i was there for trapped." Rayn laughed. "If it hadn't of been for snow I would of been long dead. But she used her gift of dragon song and called a dragon to help me. It swooped down and burned all the skeletons. We left the graveyard and ended up here." He waved his arm around to show the little clearing in the woods.

Rayn continued. "Anyway, while we where walking though the woods it felt like we where being followed. Suddenly someone threw three knifes from the trees at snow. Luckly they missed. I shouted up to the trees."Coward!" And they threw a knife at me. I have quite fast reactions and caught the knife and threw it back. I think this scared the assassin off as we had to chase him." Rayn looked around. "Thats about it really... Now its your turn..." He said smiling.

Kirana turned around and clapped her hands and looked into Rayn's eyes. Oh, beautiful beautiful!!!!

She walked up to him and put her face close to his. "I have no heroic stories to tell, handsome knight, but I can tell you of my history if you like..."

She drew back and smiled, her eyes following suite, she then sat on a log and looked at the young knight questionably.... He looks more handsome than ever... I wonder what he thinks of me....his hair, his face cast casually in the semi-darkness, giving him more mystery than ever... Ooh, I like that!

She finally pulled herself together... "It's a long history, so I'm just asking for your permission, Sir Knight, or the future Sir Knight, if I can tell it to you, it may have some scenes that may bawl your eyes out, and I don't think you want to embaress yourself," she said sweetly.

Rayn smiled. "I think I can handle it, I have a bad past my self. That is why I follow the light. So that I can get my vengence. Please continue..." Rayn said. He wanted to know. He didn't want to cry, then again he has never cry since his friend got killed. He thought he would tell her about that after he knew her story. Rayn looked into her eyes anyway. He could no longer help him self.Her eyes are like oceans of mystery

Within the woods a bright light could be seen, soon the went again though. What was this light? Well in truth it was a young boy, by the age of fourteen. Soon the young boy walked into the clearing where Rayn and the others were but he had not seen them. He was spinning a strange looking blade in his right hand and said out loud "Damn Orcs... cant they just leave me alone... if they keep attacking me, there wont be any of them left..." He then sighed and continued to walk on. Thats when he heard the voice.

The young boy looked up and seen a same group sitting down. He placed his left hand onto his head and moved some of his spikey brown hair as he said "Oh em... sorry i didnt see you there for a second, em... dont mind me, i will just em.... i will just go..." He then looked down and blushed a little as he placed the strange blade known as a Keyblade by his side and walked by the people to get through the forest, he didnt want to just jump into their group after all... that would have been rude, and one this thing this fourteen year old was, was kind to others, he respect others wishes.

Kirana looked up sharply and looked in to the night. She saw a piratey figure sillhouted by the firelight. It was Sora. "Sora!!!" cried Kirana. "Of course, you're welcome." She escorted him to a log by the warm fire.

"Don't worry, you can trust him, as long as you don't cry!" she said as she punched Rayn playfully to say that she was joking around. She sat on a third and only log, which was thorny, so she jumped up unexpectedly and sat by Sora, so that she could have a good view of Rayn...

Why me? Why do I have to end up telling me tragic story to a handsome knight...

"Do I have to tell you my story tonight. I mean it's late, and it's cold and scary and..."she couldn't think of another excuse to not tell her story...

Snow walked away from the group of people, she had seen someone else join the them, Snow walked about a half mile away from the group and came upon a waterfall, she sat down and thought. My this is beautiful there is something odd about the place though she senced another being around her."If someone has followed me you can come out now, or else leave"she shouted "Hey you woke me why dont you leave"came a voice from behind the waterfall, the voice was deep but it was a womans,"whos there she asked as she got up and drew her staff. "Whoa put that away i'm not going to fight you" said the voice, it came from behind the waterfall and jumped to the ground, "Your a dragon" she said to the creture "Yes well spotted, my you look happy" said the beast sarcasticly. Snow smiled and she shivered "its freezing are'nt you cold" "No my skin is too thick to be cold, and it's not fat" she joked, The dragon started a small fire "thanks" she said quietly her hair had slipped over the side of her face, but there was something different about it,it was black her hair had turned black.

My hair its turned black , i wonder what that is suppose to mean, Herself and the dragon spoke long into the night about everything that had happened "my look how late it is" she said looking at her pocket watch"ill' come again in the morning if thats ok with you?""sure i'll look foward to it" she said and she went back through the waterfall, And snow went back to the camp her hair still black.

Kirana heard a twig crack behind her. She stood up and turned around quickly, allowing her hair to flare out behind her. She drew her sword and said, "Who goes there?"
She peered into the distance and saw that it was Snow...only she had black hair...

"Snow, is something alright? Why is your hair all black?" Kirana asked frantically running towards her, playing with her silky soft hair. "Well, in any case, you look cool when your hair is black, you look more younger." She gave her one of those reassuring smiles and escorted the black haired Snow to a nice log by the camp fire.

Sora looked around and seen Snow, he then had to quickly look back down as his cheeks began to turn red. Snow was beautiful but Sora had no idea what to do. He had not been around girls much but he knew from the first moment he seen Snow that he liked her. He then took in a breath and looked back at Snow, he then said "Em... Hi, im em.. im Sora, Sora Hearts." He then smiled at her but his cheeks once again began to blush.

He then started to shift his feet slowly in the dirt but soon once again looked back to Snow and said "Yes em, i agree, you look great with black hair." Sora once again smiled as some of his hair fell over his icey blue eyes.

Kirana looked at Sora, who was blushing furiously and looking at Snow, well, Black Snow at least. She knew what to do.
She coughed and stood up.
She whispered to Rayn, "Let's leave them alone, see what happens. It's a beautiful night and I can see there's something between them."

She took Rayn's gloved hand and looked into his eyes, lost in utter thought about the brillant blue that sparkled in his eyes...
