Elvanshae - September 21, 2004 03:56 AM (GMT)
The sanctuary was silent. Elvanshae sat upon a moss ridden rock, with her legs crossed before her. Her hand, outstretched, felt the coolness of the energy as it laced around her fingers. Perfectly controlled, and still completely unpredictable. The elf kept herself in deep meditation; one could have walked up to her and shouted and Elvanshae wouldn't hear.

The energy, silent, crisp and translucent white rippled around her fingers, calmly at first, but reflecting the atmosphere around her. Calm. Silent.

And suddenly it disappeared. The elf sunk deeper into meditation to feel for it, and it was all gone. Every last trace. She opened her eyes and glanced about, quickly reorientating. Elvanshae forced her mind to recover lost information, and kept her brilliant green eyes from dancing with surprise. She shifted once, feeling herself come out of the trance, and wriggled a toe. Then a finger. Then she shifted her head to the wind and listened. And she heard them. Faint, hauntingly beautiful voices that rose on the wind like sirens, though they were unearthly. Elvanshae smiled but a sober expression replaced it. If it was what she thought these voices were...

A quick, fleeting thought. The next moment it was gone and left Elvan mystified. She grimaced and climbed to her feet. Then she alighted on the floor and looked around as a chill rose along her spine. And it wasn't a good feeling at all.

The wind began to pick up blowing locks of hair in his face useing his right hand he pushed the blue strands back a bit out of the way of his face and let out a small sigh the marks on his face glowing dimly-
