Title: Meeting Of Shapeshifters
Description: [P] Aloric, Sin and Sophia [P]
Sin Deadheart - June 24, 2006 04:17 AM (GMT)
A man wearing pure black was near The Village of Estolad, he had a long black cloak on also that had a hood on it. Usualy this man would wear his hood but he wanted "SIN... SINmore peoople to fear him so by showing his dark face they would see that he showed no emotion for caring. He had shoulder lenght white hair and dark blood red eyes. The man standing there was known throughout Arda as the Atani Shapeshift, and Black knight, Sin Deadheart. He was the last male in the Deadheart family... or atleast... he was the last one who was alive.
Sin father Sephiroth Deadheart had returned back to the land of the living a short time ago, and Sin was not at all happy about this. He hated his father when he was alive, and now hated him even more in death. While Sins younger sister Sophia loved having her father back... infact Sophia and her lover Leona seemed to travel with Sephiroth alot these days.
As the man stood outside of The Village of Estolad some small children came up to Sin and said "Hey mister... can you help us get our ball back please ?" Once the children said this, a small yet very dark smirk came across the lips of Sin. Sins right hand was on the hilt of his blade, his index finger slowly tapping on the top of it. Soon his blade, known as Celest, was out of its holster and one of the childrens heads was now on the ground. Yes Sin had just killed one of the children.
As the other child began to run Sin, who was seven foot three inches tall, stepped forward and pushed his blade through the heart of the child. Some of the adults that seen this got there own swords and ran to wards Sin, while the people that knew who he was began to ran from the town yelling out "SIN, SIN IS HERE...." Hearing those words Sin got ready for that only thing in life he loved, the will to fight.
His grip got tighter on the handle on Celest and also Sins left arm began to glow a deep red color. The people of the Village then came near Sin. With his large blade, Celest he made a strike for some of the people and instantly killed them. Now with only about thity people left standing to fight Sin, he began to laugh a little. Sin then flipped backwards, landing softly on the ground behind him. He placed his hand out to face the people and muttered the words "Magic Missiles" After saying this magic arrow like blasts came from the hand of Sin, each with is own creepy dark red glow around it. The blasts killed another twenty of the people in the town.
The smirk on Sins face began to glow larger by the second as he stood to his feet once again. Celest still gripped in his right hand, only now his left hand was covered in red lighting. he placed it infront of his and yelled out "CRIMSON LIGHTNING" Then bolt of red lightning began to pour from the fingertips of Sin, hitting and burning the rest of the people to death in the Village. But although Sin had killed them all.. there blood and bones around his feet. He still knew someone was their... someone or something. His grip stayed on his blade as he looked around town. Soon.... just a little bit infrint of him Sin seen something move and slowly walked over to see what it was, and hoping for a surprise kill on it.
Aloric - June 24, 2006 08:49 PM (GMT)
Long had he pondered the words that rang through his mind. Long had he toiled in an effort to discover the meaning of the words. Long had he adventured across the land in seek of answers. Long had he not received those answers.
All that was about to change. But he, Aloric, didn't know that quite yet. For there he was, in the small village of Estolad, where his latest journey had taken him. There he was, up in the loft of a family farm, where the owners had been kind enough to let Aloric stay. There he was, pondering what Paliath had told him earlier that month.
Maybe it's not a bad thing... Paliath had started.
Aloric couldn't disagree more.
Maybe there's a reason...
No, there was no reason. It was simply a curse.
Why had Aloric been picked to bear the curse? What unlucky lottery had he won? "How can anyone live like this..." he said to himself. The curse, it had always touched every aspect of Aloric's life, every aspect of his personality was a reflection of what the curse had done to him.
Maybe it's not a curse... Paliath had reasoned, his words deep in Aloric's thoughts.
Maybe it is, Aloric thought. Of course it was, there was no other explanation. Things happened to him that he couldn't explain. At some times, he couldn't even control it.
"You can't live like this. It has to overcome you. It has to kill you."
You're wrong, Paliath had said. It has been done before.
"Show me such a person," Aloric had challenged Paliath. "Show me a person that has managed to live with this curse."
Find them yourself. Aloric had frowned. You will find them. Very easily. You need not even look for them.
According to Paliath, there were others like him? Aloric doubted it very much. Arda was a big place, but the curse seemed so small... How many out there were like him?
That's when he heard the screams. That's when he had ran out of the loft, with the family of farmers running out with him, to see the destruction being wreaked upon part of the village. That's when Aloric had told the farmer to get his family to safety. That's when Aloric had hidden himself.
A tall man, most likely a Black Knight, was slaying anyone who tried to stop him. Stop him from doing what? That much wasn't clear. What was clear was that the man was angry. What was clear was that Aloric's life was once again in danger, and he feared to face that danger. And so, instead of trying to help the innocent victims from the man's wrath, he curled up, hiding himself.
Why can't I face anything? Why can't I help anyone? He gulped. Why can't I help anyone but myself.
That's when he saw the man standing just around the corner. That's when Aloric realized he may not be safe much longer.

(( ACK! I'm so sorrehz...>.< I seriously thought I was on Sophia's account...x.x ))
You've got to be kidding me...I highly doubt he even planned this out, let alone thought about what would happen if someone came and actually was able to stop him, like myself. However, the choice for me is, should I stop him? I mean, it's not like it's my problem...He is just my brother, and I could care less what he does. I'm just wondering what's going through his stupid, idiotic mind right now...
Sighing, the person that had thought this stood from a chair, moving away from the window of the small inn that she had stayed in. Her angelic light brown hair flowed in a curtain behind her as she walked across the small room she had gotten for the night, and her ruby-red eyes gazed around at the walls one last time.
The next step the woman took, she was no longer there, but a very large white fox stood in her place, its silk fur glistening in the light from the candle that rested on the bedside table, and its ears were perked atop its head, ringing with the sound of the screams and yells from outside. Narrowing her eyes, the fox quickly ran from the room, its slender legs seeming a blur, its every move smooth liquid and graceful.
When she reached the stairs, she leapt down them, her angelic wings sprouting from her sides a tad bit to help her skip all the steps, and she landed quietly as her paws barely even kissed the ground, and she ran past a man whom had just stepped into the inn, running through the door before it had closed behind the shocked man.
Dark, deep, ruby-red eyes gazed around quickly as the fox's slender legs continued to move, taking her to where the cause of the trouble was. She passed many running people whom were meaning to leave the town rather than dare near the person whom caused the attack. Of course, the fox -- or woman? -- knew whom it was that caused the problem, and soon enough, the man came into view.
As she neared the tall man, her eyes widened slightly, glowing just barely, before the fox disappeared right when she had come a couple feet near the man. The woman stood there again, this time a sword drawn, the tip at the back of the man's neck.
"So we meet again, brother," the woman said quietly, a small smirk spreading across her lips. She stood taller than most women and almost as tall as the man whom she claimed her brother. She then noticed a moving figure, and she stole a glance down to the cowering man, and a fine eyebrow arched in curiousity.
"Ah...A killing spree? I would join you, but you seem to be having too much fun without me," she said sarcastically as she returned her gaze quickly to the back of her brother's head. Her smirk was still spread across her lips, and her eyebrow was still arched as she kept her gaze fully on her brother, not looking at any passerby's nor the cowering man before the two.
Sin Deadheart - August 8, 2006 07:36 PM (GMT)
Sin suddently stopped when he heard a voice he knew well say "So we meet again, brother, Ah...A killing spree? I would join you, but you seem to be having too much fun without me," Sin let out a small evil laugh and then turned to face his sister. Looking down at her as he said to her "So you finally got here then... I knew you would find me sooner or later. I was starting to think you got lost." His dark red cutting through the air as he looked at the amount of Chaos he had made.
His next words were said in a more forcefull and powerfull tone "I no longer serve Raku... The man is a fool... He shall not use me any more. Now i kill for the fun of it, along with the destruction of Arda. And you sister? How is Leona... how is.... Father..." His voice sharper as he mentioned his father. Sin had never liked nor trusted the man... his life seemed free without him. Family and friends only slowed you down after all...
Sin was soon broken from these thoughts upon seeing the man cowering. This seemed to make Sin happier. Slowly he began to walk over to the man then said "You there.... you would cowar before us and die? Or shall you stand your ground and maybe live... even if you lose fight, If you had impressed us inbattle there would be a small. VERY small chance you would be able to pass on through without more harm." After saying this Sin stood straight up, his eyes still fixed upon the man.
As usual his right hand rested upon the hilt of Celest ready to be drawn in a moment to strike down any enemy that dare attack him. Or even if someone get mad him a little mad. Sin just liked to kill.. end of story about that. His index finger was tapping against the tip of Celests hilt as Sin awaited on the mans reply or reaction... or even better, both.
((Sorry for shortness, be awhile since i used him lol))
Aloric - August 9, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
The life of Aloric may be owed entirely to the woman who had ventured into the town, stopping shortly to converse with the man that stood before him now. She spoke now to him, calling him brother and sarcastically commenting on the man's obvious grip on Aloric's fate, but her comments may have been the only thing that spared the coward in that moment. The tall man replied back at her, calling her sister. Were these two truly related? The man seemed hardened by evil, while the woman seemed to have not taken that same path. What had split this family apart?
"You there.... you would cower before us and die? Or shall you stand your ground and maybe live... even if you lose the fight, if you had impressed us in battle there would be a small, VERY small chance you would be able to pass on through without more harm."
"Why does it always have to be about the fight? Why does it have to be that I have to do battle with someone I have not properly met? Why do you seek such a fate for me?" He closed his eyes to stop the tears from flowing. He thought to himself how he would ever escape this situation with his life intact.
There was a way, of course there was. But he wouldn't use it, he never used it. Not even if his position was as dire as this. He wanted to, he tried to focus. He could simply "allow" it, and it would occur. He would become a smaller target than this man could locate, he could fly away, or he could take the form of a being much more powerful than he was. He could shift. His thoughts went back to Paliath, and what the wise man had said. Maybe there's a reason...
No, there couldn't be! It was a curse, not a blessing! Past experience had proven that. He wouldn't do it, not today, not even if he tried to, it wouldn't happen. He could never allow it to happen.
"I can't do this!" he wailed aloud, almost incomprehensively. He hadn't meant to voice his thoughts, but he couldn't help it. He was at his weakest, and he had broken. Surely there would be no escape for him this time.
