Samarin moved swiftly through the forest, behind him flew a small hatching, a steel dragon that moved with him without question. Keeping to a small trail he sped up slightly, he wanted to get there soon. Or the sun would go down and he would miss the sunset. He began to climb as the path way changed gradient and became a hill. In the distance he could hear the crashing waves, breaking on the sands. He wore only a pair of white pants and a brown sash that fluttered in the winds, other than that he was bare foot and had a bare chest.
Only a little further if he remembered correctly. And sure enough the forest began to thin out. Trees gave way to shrubs and soon only a lush grass covered the hill side. Soon the hill petered out and he was standing on a flat topped cliff, he began to move to the edge. Looking out over the bay he saw far in almost every direction. Right the way up and down the beach and out into the ocean. The waves were breaking on the rocks below and the splash could be heard even up on the cliff. It would be the perfect place to see the sun set.
The sun itself was low in the sky but a few more minuets would send it below the horizon. He walked to the edge heading for a stone to sit on, but someone else was already here. He shrugged, no matter it wasn't his spot. He walked up carefully. He noticed it was a woman and maintained his apprehensive walk. He did not want to startle her or if she was evil fight with her. It was pointless fighting over nothing. "Why hello there, i hope im not disturbing anything, im samarin by the way.
This is perfect...Especially without Squall and Fayte here...They must be back at the camp. I don't think I'll be here long enough for one of them to come after me, especially since I believe they can take care of themselves. Besides, I'm not their mother, so it's not my job to take care of them.
Sighing, Sria lifted a fair-complexed hand and brushed a couple strands of her lightly-blue hue'd hair away from her face, tucking it gently yet securely behind her ear. Now that the stray strands were out of the way, her pointed ear was visible, and only the tip was visible from the other one. Her hair still hung in her face a slight bit, even if she did occasionally brush the stray strands away. Perhaps she would need to find a way to bind the blue strands away from her face.
Hearing someone approach, Sria let the person come, not even bothering to steal a glance at him. She waited patiently for the person to arrive, since she figured he -- or maybe even she -- would comment on her being here. Whilst she waited, her lightly-pruple hue'd eyes narrowed slightly as they remained on the waters, watching the water's free movements.
That's when she heard the person speak behind her. Figuring it wouldn't hurt her, she turned her head to look over her shoulder at him, and she studied him quietly before responding.
"You're fine, I'm sure. I'm Sria," she said, her voice soft and soothing. She blinked as she kept her attention on him, awaiting his responce. She kept a straight face, letting no emotion pass her features her actions, incase this person was not one to trust.
He turned away from her to look out far over the bay. She seemed nice enough and an elf to. He hadn't seen an elf since he became one, well in his form at least. He was yet to get to grips with the form. There were so many advantages to his old one but the bugbears still loomed. It was no way near as strong as his sturdy dwarven form and was no way near as powerful in a melee but it had speed. It had so many advantages. It was quicker and it had finesse and he didn't have a beard that reached his shins which was always an advantage.
He blinked, the wind was blowing his hair into his eyes. It was at that length now that ment it was constantly getting in the way. He turned back, it was irritating his eyes to much. "So what brings you up here. Me its for the sun set. He smiled. In the distance he could see his steel dragon hatching making its way up the slope. It landed a good ten feet away and walked the rest. It crawled just above his feet and curled up on them. He laughed and petted it slightly. It was very young but it better grow out of the habit or he would get crushed when it grew older.
He looked about and found a rock sitting not so far away. He gently shifted the dragon off his feet and sat down. The dragon lifted its head up and crawled over and sat again at his feet. At the moment it was more like a dog than a dragon. "Still haven't named him yet. ... im not so good with names. You have any ideas, so far all I've got its mut. He was trying to lighten the mood a bit. this woman seemed a little cold although she was probably nice underneath. Most people put up such facades to keep the out side world at bay.
