Title: Fight of the century
Description: Somebody get Malisaro here please.
Shalura - June 2, 2006 11:25 AM (GMT)
Shalura's skills had been growing for a while now, since gaining her diamond sword she had been winning more battles and gaining less injuries and with learning new spells every day she wondered if she would ever lose again. Standing in the training area with her staff drawn she was fighting a minatyaur with an axe apparently under the impression that it stood a chance, this wasn't however the reason for Shalura bieng here, she was waiting. As the minataur charged she teleported behind it and span kicked it in the back of the head knocking it over, it jumped to its feet and was hit by several rapid spinning attacks before bieng thrown backwards with several broken ribs, it got up again gasping. It ran at Shalura and she leaped into the air front flipping and landing both feet hard on the minataur's head. It fell to the ground unconsious. Shalura landed behind it and stowed her staff away and walked to the edge of the arena to wait while the minataur was dragged away. She keaned against the fence looking up at the clouds skudding by, she had been here for 3 hours and had alredy had 5 fights between a half demon, two Lupines at once, an elf, and tweo minataurs. She was fed up with waiting and amused herself by stroking the small dove sitting next to her on the fence, the dove was called Aravis and was Shalura's traveling companion since she left the matrial arts school 5 years ago, she looked up hopefull onyl to be disapointed again.
"Where is he" she muttered to herself "I'm almost fed up with waiting"
The dove cooed lightly.
"Well you don't have to wait all the time" she said "you can just fly off whenever you like"
The dove ruffled its feathers and tried to get more comfortable on the fence.
"Know the feeling" muttered Shalura.
Malisaro - June 2, 2006 01:10 PM (GMT)
(Ready to get your butt kicked?)
Malisaro travelled about the grasslands, at his side a whit wolf and a white tiger followed him along with a foot long and deadly looking scorpian following behind them. Aproaching the training area Malisaro stopped just short of the fence and watched Shalura beating up a minataur. He cast invisibility and his familiars scuttled away on their own journies. As Shalura finished her battle she settled on the fence and began talking to her own familiar.
Malisaro cancelled his invisibilty spell appearing behind Shalura with narrowed eyes.
"Looking for me?" He asked darkly "cause I think you've found me, or rather I've found you, now. Are you sure you're up for this?"
Shalura - June 3, 2006 01:07 PM (GMT)
Shalura started and turned around, an annoyed look crossed her features as she stared at Malisaro.
"Don't sneak up on me like that" she said "I find it really annoying, and yes, I am up for it. Who do you think I am?"
She set down most of her items down by the fence and her dove fluttered down and sat on them cooing softly. Shalura kept her diamond blade out looking up at Malisaro and taking off her cloak.
"Okay" she said "I'm ready. Are you"
She backflipped into the center of the ring and stood up straight waiting for Malisaro to follow her. She had grown alot stronger since thir last fight together, trouble was so had Malisaro, and Shalura was not looking foreward to this at all. But it would prove she was stronger than Malisaro if she won. She looked up at the clouds in the sky, they seemed to be clearing letting through the rays of the sun. It almost dazzled Shalura but she looked down smiling ignoring the breeze tugging at her hair and clothes.
"Ready when you are" she said "if you're ready at all"
Malisaro - June 3, 2006 01:55 PM (GMT)
Malisaro drew his swords and followed Shalura into the ring, his familiars returned to watch, the tiger eying the dove hungrily.
"Wrath leave her" said Malisaro "she's of no concern of your"
Malisaro turned his blood red eyes back to Shalura and they narrowed, the breeze caught at his cloak causing it to fan out beside him.
"I don't think you stand a chance" he said "let's see how you do against me then"
He cast unholy aura and a black aura spread about him streanghening his darkened side. Next he cast thunder hammer and flame blade on his swords and they ignited with fire and lightning.
"I have super magic swords, and you have a super sharp sword" he said getting into a battle stance "but it's not the sword that counts, it's the person behind it. Let's start with something simple shall we?"
Malisaro cast shooting star and a light ball flew from his hand at Shalura.
Shalura - June 3, 2006 02:05 PM (GMT)
Shalura gripped her sword tighter as she watched Malisaro, he cast unholy aura on himself so Shalura cast bless, she was surrounded by a white aura and Malisaro a black one, they were opposite in almost every way now, exept for the fact that Shalura had ne magical enhancments on her weopons, and just the one sword. She tried to relax but she still felt nervous, Malisaro was deathly powerful and specialised in elemental spells and Shalura specialised in holy spells. She looked up at the light ball racing towards her, Malisaro had started already. She had alot of choices of how to block it though, by her own shooting star, by reflecting it, by teleporting aside, by turning into a smaller animal or simply dodging to the side. She chose to cast reflect. She raised her hand and a second before th spell hit her she said.
"Tcelfer!"
The spell apeared to bounce off nothing and creating ripples in the air before launching back at Malisaro.
"Sorry pal" she said grinning "but prjectile magic is a little useless on me now, you'll have to think of something else"
She grinned broadly and span her sword once in one hand at her side taking one step back ready to leap forewards to counter any attacks Malisaro used.
"Come on then" she said "improvise, or don't you know how to do that?"
Malisaro - June 15, 2006 07:21 PM (GMT)
Malisaro's eyes narrowed as Shalura cast her spell. His own attack bounced back at him and he cast redirect spell fuming slightly.
"Sorry pal, but prjectile magic is a little useless on me now, you'll have to think of something else"
Malisaro fumed again growling to himself.
"Nor on me" he retorted "seems spells are pretty usless at this stage, allow me to counteract that"
Shhalura got into a position ready to counter an attack she sent at him. He glared at her thinking fast.
"If I attack then she'll counter. But what if I can be smart enough to counter that? What if I can fool her?"
He smiled wiskedly beneath his mask.
"Ready or not here I come!"
He ran at Shalura as fast as he could hefting both swords, then he changed direction, throwing his swords into the air and sliding past her. He outsreatched an arm and they both flew back, he grabbed them and aimed a cross shaped slash at her back.
"You wanted me to improvise" he laughed "are you happy now?"
Wrath follow Malisaro's moves lightly wagging his tail while the scorpian clicked its pincers and Karnen sniffed the dove curiousley. Shalura had just the one familiar, Malisaro had three, so Shalura wasn't looking too good at the moment.
Malisaro leaped back after his strike (weather it hit or not) laughing softly.
"Still think you can beat me?" He asked "I'm afraid you're very much mistaken"
He got into another battle stance and aimed another attack at Shalura.
Shalura - June 22, 2006 07:29 PM (GMT)
Shalura went to strike Malisaro as he ran at her but missed as he slid past her. She turned around and raised her sword to parry his attack but still was knocked backwards.
"You wanted me to imprvise. Happy now?" Malisaro laughed.
She shook herself and looked up bringing her sword up again and blocked his next attack.
"Okay, bad suggestion" she said jumping backwards "still, it makes for a bit of fun"
She ran at Malisaro then leaped into the air over him, he would undoubtably turn around to block an attack from behind. Predicting his move she teleported back to the other side of him then struck with her sword then leapt back form any possible counters.
"How's that for improvisation" she said smiling as she landed "you're running out of tricks, pretty much most of your spells are offensive, mine are defensive. You're outmached"
