Title: Looking for a Fight.
Mazzer - August 1, 2004 07:22 PM (GMT)
Mazzer had rode on his warg along the eastern coast for some time now, and hadn't had a serious fight with anyone in even longer. His urge for bloodspray has gotten the best of him, and now he headed for the Sanctuary of Angels, the only place he knew he wouldn't have to start the fight, because the angels would most likely attack those whose souls are evil and corrupt without hesitation.
Mazzer arrived at the front gates soon after he had gotten off of the coast. Upon entering the Sanctuary, a hush fell over the people and angels. It was not everyday that you saw a Dark Knight with the courage to enter. His appearence was almost the exact opposite of an angel. Mazzer's armor was pitch black. His gauntlents and sword were both blood-stained from countless battles, and his cape torn. Most of the typical angel's armor was silver or gold.
A few of the angels stepped in front of the humans to protect them if Mazzer was inclined to kill one of them. A few more angels rested their hands on the hilts of their swords.
This will be much fun... Mazzer thought to himself with an evil grin, though it couldn't be seen through his helm.
The half-demon grasped the hilt of his ominous battle sword and slowly unsheathed it.
"Come at me." He said loudly, watching for one the angels to strike.
Taul - August 2, 2004 01:22 AM (GMT)
Taul's eyes narrowed at the sight of the black knight. There was a crowd milling about by the time the man on the horse had stopped to watch what would happen. Of course, Taul already knew what would happen. Heck, he would probably help start it. Taul wore normal clothes of brown. The type humans would wear, and a cloak hung around his neck. A great hand-and-a-half sword lay strapped to his back as well. Taul was ready to travel out into the open world. The land of mortals and sinners. But one small interruption wouldn't be too much of a bother, he supposed.
"Come at me." He heard the dark knight say. Taul smiled.
A bit cocky eh? Well, I'll put and end to that. He thought to himself. Running a hand through his brown hair, Taul stepped forward, one hand on his sword. Another angel, a warrior and one of Taul's friends, began to draw his long-sword but Taul stayed his hand with a touch on the shoulder. The angel nodded slighly and sheathed his sword. Some of the other angels, seeing him do so, followed his example. Taul smiled.
This fight is mine. "Warrior in black." Taul adressed the man on the horse, his hand-and-a-half coming swiftly from his back. "You who have come into our pure gates. You who desecrate the sancuary of the angels. Name what it is you want and be gone from this place. Although us giving it is quite unlickly." A few of the angels nodded in approval. Taul knew very well what the man wanted, the words he spoke were merely a formality.

Mazzer - August 2, 2004 01:34 AM (GMT)
Mazzer smiled at what the man said.
"I suppose it shall be a one on one match, then. Lets make a wager if thats going to be the case. If you win, then I will leave here without saying a word, but if I win I get to take the head of the statue when I leave. What say you?" He stated, pointing his battle sword at the statue of the Imperial Archangel.
"The person who loses the most blood is the loser. I didn't come here to kill any of you, just to train. I have heard that archangels possess the best swordsmanship skills on this planet. So I would like nothing more to train with the best." He said grasping his sword with both hands.
"Do you accept my challenge?" Mazzer asked hoping the answer would be, "yes".
Taul - August 2, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
Taul grinned back at the man. He usually tended to like these types of people.
"Well for one, you've heard correctly about their skill with the sword. But I'm afraid you won't find their ability against me. I'm just a plain old angel." He grinned even wider, "But that shouldn't change the deal. You'll go down just as you would to anybody else." Taul walked closer. "But since you mistook my 'race' if you will, i will ask you your. Are you a human, or a demon. Surprisinly i cannot tell." Taul shrugged off his undone cloak, awaiting an answer. This angel was quite sure of himself.
Mazzer - August 2, 2004 04:06 AM (GMT)
"If you really must know you could say I'm a little bit of both." Mazzer said. He didn't enjoy talking about this subject, and tried to avoid it as much as possible, but if it came to it, he would say.
"Angel or not you should be able to fight well if you think you can go against me and stand a chance." He stated. Everyone near them had formed a circle around the two "men", and some of the humans were even taking bets.
"Now, are you going to fight me or are you going to back down?" Mazzer asked taking a few steps toward the angel.
Taul - August 2, 2004 11:19 PM (GMT)
Taul smiled and started into a run toward the man. The sword held in both hands tightly he leapt up into the air. Impossibly high for a human but not to difficuly for an angel that had trained for moments like these his entire life. His feet left the ground about 3 yards away from the man on the horse but had cleared the distance in the air, a full 10 feet above him. Taul came down upon the man sword first, teeth clenched and eyes shining with anticipation.
Mazzer - August 2, 2004 11:41 PM (GMT)
Mazzer hadn't expected the angel to attack yet, but it was no matter. He took his sword and leapt from his warg using it to jump back at the angel. Arato immedietly got out of the way of the two fighters. Mazzer's armor weighed him down when he leapt from the warg, but at the speed the angel was falling from, both of their swords would clash while they were both airborn. Mazzer took his sword while in mid-air and swung it up vertically hoping to make a gash somewhere on the angel. No one in the crowd said a word. They all watched in amazement as the half-demon and angel fought.
Taul - August 3, 2004 05:55 PM (GMT)
Taul's blade hit the other man's sword with intense force. The only thing was that, Mazzer had hit Taul's blade with intense force as well. The angel was knocked backwards toward the ground. He quickly recovered while in mid-air and landed in a crouch, his blade slanted out before him in a gaurded stance. Strong...
Mazzer - August 3, 2004 07:35 PM (GMT)
When Mazzer's sword clashed against the mans, the half-demon clenched his teeth. Another hit like that and this sword may be useless... He thought to himself. His armor made a loud clank when he landed on the ground. Mazzer held out his sword, and charged at the man, when he got within four feet he thrust the sword at the angel's gut.
Taul - August 5, 2004 08:12 PM (GMT)
Taul sidestepped, not fast enough to get completly clear of the blade though. His side was cut slightly, revealing a small trickle of blood. Taul grimaced. This half-demon was incredibly fast, he would actually enjoy to see how fast he was without all of that bulky armor on. Taul smiled once again, still in the scrouch he began to circle around the man, his sword held vertically in front of him, waiting for him to make a move.
Mazzer - August 6, 2004 08:54 PM (GMT)
Mazzer stared at the angel, waiting for a moment to strike. The area where they fought was yet again, completely silent. A howling breeze was the only thing that could be heard.
"You're pretty strong for a regular angel." He stated, as he started charging. He brought his sword above his head and swung in diagonally, aiming for the angel's chest.
Taul - August 7, 2004 04:07 AM (GMT)
"Ya, well I don't like to brag." Taul knocked his blade to the side and immediatly went in for a counterstrike, both hands gripping the hilt.
