Title: Fate?
Anesuri - May 22, 2006 04:44 AM (GMT)
Anesuri walked slowly across the shores, taking in every moment. The clouds were gray and puffy. They seemed to be happy, just like Anesuri. It seemed as if the times of the day governed his mood. At this time of day, where the moon and stars were shining bright, Anesuri was calm and serene. He hadn't been quite so energetic, it just seemed that this was a time to take in the environment and the atmosphere.
As he walked, the water splashed against his bare feet. He had chosen to take off his cloth shoes, for he would like them to be dry when he returned to the hills. The wind was not absent from this day, for it could be seen toying with his red hair, despite its relative shortness. Anesuri had chosen to withdraw his wings, disposing of his otherwise angelic appearance. The dark pressed upon his eyes, but he continued on with his light spell, which he had cast upon himself to make his immediate area very visible.
He was not thinking much, merely walking. Sometimes it was okay to just enjoy some time to yourself. Although Anesuri was almost always by himself, he never really showed signs of loneliness. But thousands of years could build, and Anesuri sometimes felt that he could stand to find a few friends. Still, his young appearance often distracted others from what was inside of him, and his wisdom held him far above others of his similar appearance and stature. However, he never let it get him down, for he enjoyed life as it was.

Snori stood in the river, on the last shallow bit before the river became deeper and the current picked up. The water lapped at his ankles, rising just above where his shins began. He wore no shoes, there wasn't a pare tied on his back or at the rivers edge. He travailed without. He didn't even carry a weapon with him any more, he felt there was no need. He travelled now for only one reason, he had a home true enough, a shrine to call his own but it felt to artificial. Not what nature had intended. Now he roamed the mountains and woods. Where earth was real, or so he felt. where it gave life to so many plants and animals. Where nature was real in his eyes.
He heard someone approaching him. Foot steps in the near distance, he whipped around to see, he robe fell slightly and was coughed in the waters grasp. He cursed in dwarfish as he crisp green robes bottom edge was soaked by the water. He continued to curse as he left the water for dry land. He squatted down the inspect the damage. "why water? why? why not mud? i like mud. He quit his grumbling and stood back up. He stared at the figure in the distance, he could have swore it had wings a second ago. He shrugged and began to walk towards the figure.
He tossed back his hair from his eyes as the figure neared, he looked young, very young. But age as he knew had no bearing on ... well anything these days. Called out. "Hallo!" He smiled broadly "My names Snori by the way

He lay in the tree, both eyes closed. His wings hung down, over the branch, relaxed. His sword hung at his side, attached to his waist. All of a sudden, a sond of splashing water awoke him, being a light sleeper. He opened one eye, still calmed, and looked over towards the water nearby.
"Hmm."
He sighed quietly, his Infravision helping him see.
"Well then."
He turned sideways into a sitting postition, and dropped down.
"Well, hello."
He smiled, only one eye left open, still.
Anesuri - May 23, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
Anesuri could see the figure of a man in the distance. But, it wasn't really that far, in fact, Anesuri was sure that the man had now noticed him. The man seemed to be grumbling about something, but Anesuri continued forward. As he did so, the man began to walk towards him as well. As the man neared, he tossed his hair and spoke to Anesuri. Anesuri listened, and gave a slight smile.
"I am called Anesuri," The angel replied, somehow feeling that his name had a funny sound compared to his new aquaintance. Anesuri's face showed signs of relaxation on the outside, and expressed an inner joy on the inside. As the water waved over his feet, his eyes reflected the light of the full moon, making their ruby color glimmer like a twinkling star.
Almost immediately another being jumped down from a nearby tree, speaking to the two of them. Anesuri's eyebrows arched slightly with slight curiosity as he replied:
"Well, it would seem that I have the pleasure of making two new aquaintances on this night. It is a pleaure to meet you both." Anesuri nodded respectively with his last spoken word. Anesuri glanced out at the river for a moment, and then ran his hand through his hair. He arched his back and shifted his shoulder's a bit, for his wings were a bit restless; he had an urge to beat them against the night air. "May I ask what the two of you are doing at the shores on this night? Myself, I am just enjoying a peaceful walk."

He jumped, but only slightly. He hadn't noticed this dwarven man.
"And hello to you too."
He said to the unnoticed man.
"It, so far, has been a pleasure to meet you as well, Anesuri. I'm named Conal."
Then, after the second question, he responded.
"This is where I normally come to relax, sleep really. Not too much noise here, 'cept the waves."
He smiled, and walked closer to the shore.
