Raven sighed, walking out of the forest, the waters of Lake Aelin in front of her. Aegis walked faithfully by her side. She sat down near the water, turning to the wolf, who lay down beside her.

"It's been a long time since we've been able to relax, hasn't it, Aegis?" she asked, patting the wolf on the head. The white wolf growled in reply.

Raven sighed again, placing her bow down beside her and taking off her shoes. She dipped her feet into the cool water. Small fish nibbled at her toes as she moved her feet back and forth in the water.

This feels nice, she thought, lazily scratching Aegis behind the ears.

Snori took a step out from the canopy of trees that surrounded the lakes. He stretched his arms up to the sky, his crisp green robe was lose and comfortable in the sun. He looked out over the lakes, there with her feet in the water was a woman, accompanied by a wolf. He smiled, once he had befriended a wolf, it appeared from time to time but left as soon as it came.

He began to walk slowly towards the woman. It was nice to met new people, some times they were nice, there were always a few people who weren't exactly nice but that couldn't be helped. He smiled as he approached, she looked nice enough.

He reached the waters edge, standing a few feet away from her he looked out across the water. Then he turned to the woman, "Hi im Snori, hope you don't mind me disturbing you, but your a new face to me and i like to meet new people. He sat back. He carried nothing now except for the green robe and brown sash. He didn't even where shoes on his feet.

He smiled broadly at her, and looked at the wolf then back to her. "so who do i have the pleasure of meeting?

Raven was just starting to relax when she heard footsteps behind her. Her hand went to her bow as she whipped around. It turned out to be a dwarf. The dwarf sat down next to her and introduced himself to her.

Aegis is starting to rub off on me, she thought, lowering her bow and sighing at the paranoid wolf. He looked up, sniffing at the new arrival.

"I don't mind," said Raven, smiling, "I'm Raven. It's nice to meet you."

Aegis turned to her as if waiting for an introduction. She smiled again.

"This is Aegis, my familiar," she said.

The lake was hypnotizing to her...she took a dip in the water early in the morning to relax. She dove down, seeing a school of fishes pass by. The water was so cold and it relaxed her every nerve. She felt her problems leave and after awhile, she noticed some people arriving and decided to end her bath. She surfaced up on the water and she saw Raven, with her familiar, Aegis and another guy beside her.

"So she also came her." she smiled, swimming away.

After clothing herself, she went near the shapeshifter and the new guy.

"Hey Raven!" she called, "Nice to see you here."

Raven whipped around at the familiar voice and Aegis growled, getting to his feet. She saw Kithara making her way towards them. Aegis leaned forward, as if he was preparing to attack, and bared his fangs.

"Aegis! Down!" called Raven, waving at Kithara, "Kit! What are you doing here?"

I still don't like her... growled Aegis, laying back down but keeping his eyes on Kithara and growling at her.

Raven sighed and shook her head. Aegis never liked Kithara. She didn't know exactly why but she had a sneaky suspicion that Aegis still remembered seeing Kithara's dark side appear.

"If you be good, I'll give you a treat later," said Raven.

What do you think I am...a dog? asked the wolf. He did quiet down though, contented to glare at the approaching Rauko.

Kithara was happy to see her friend again...and also Aegis. She had wondered why that wolf always hated her. Then again, she didn't want to know. "Kit! What are you doing here?" asked Raven. She sat down beside the shapeshifter and started to cool off.

"Oh, just relaxing." she replied, "How about you?"

"Same thing," said Raven, "It's been a long time since I've been able to just relax."

She turned to her friend and smiled, patting Aegis on the head.

"What have you been up to lately, Kit?" she asked.

Kithara couldn't answer her question. All she ever wanted to do was to get rid of her darker side but what she has been going is simply running away from it. She looked down and stared at the water. Finally, she faced Raven.

"Um...just roaming around." she lied, "The usual."

She looked at her reflection on the water but then, something was different. It wasn't her but another side.

"Do you really think you can run away from me?" she laughed, "Keep lying to her and to yourself...Soon enough, you will fade from existance."

Kithara turned to Raven and smiled. She didn't listen to any of it--she wanted to relax.

"So, who's your new friend?" she asked, glancing at the dwarf beside Raven.

"Er, this is Snori," said Raven, "He came here a little while before you did."

Raven smiled at Kithara.

"Yeah, I've been doing a lot of roaming around too," she said, "So, how has everything been?"

Aegis growled softly at Kithara. Raven glared at him before turning to Kit.

Sorry, couldn't help myself, growled the wolf.

Snori whatched as Raven and the new commer sit and begin to talk. The newcomer was called Kit, short for somthing but he had no idea what for. He streached and yawned. If im inturupting a meeting then i'll just go. He pushed himself up off the grassy bank and began to walk back to the woods. He stopped half way and called back.

"It was nice meeting you Raven, and your familier Aegis. Oh yes and you....Kit, I hope we meet agian. He began to make his way back to the woods edge, He streached his arms up and yawned again.
