Jess dove under the crystal clear water of the lake, feeling the exhilaration that only swimming could alight in her. She surfaced for air and swam to the edge of the beautiful lake. Making sure there was no one nearby, she leapt out of the water and threw on her green, silk dress.
She threw a brush through her soaking wet hair and packed her bag. She threw it over her back and left the lake.
She stopped suddenly, hearing harsh, guttural voices coming from the beach hidden behind a few feet of trees and foliage.
She clambered into a nearby tree and peered down at the beach just below. A massive ship was anchored out near the reef and a small dinghy was beached on the sand of the island.
Jess then spotted the pirates.
There was nearly twenty of them, all of varying shapes and sizes and they were circled around something lying in the sand.
Whatever it was, it was struggling weakly. Jess scanned the horizon for the boat she had come in on.
It didn't take her long to find it. Infact she was surprised she had missed it.
It was broken up, completely destroyed, some parts still on fire. Jess groaned inwardly. Now what? A gap opened up in the circle of pirates and Jess found herself looking at her captain. 'No!' she gasped, noticing the blood slowly dripping from his chest.
Jess had no choice.
Leaving her pack hanging in the tree, she dove off the top of the tree, her knives drawn. She launched herself into the group of pirates, killing three before they knew what was going on. They growled and yelled in surprise as a small, blonde girl dove into their midst.
She put up a valiant fight, killing two more, until two strong hands grabbed her from behind. She squealed and fought at the restraining hands, which hoisted her up in the air.
Another pirate quickly took the two knives from her hands as well as the swords from her back. He was rewarded with a violent kick in the back that sent him sprawling in the sand.'Hehe, spirited little one isn't she?' came a harsh voice from her right. Jess twisted her head around to look at the speaker with hatred in her eyes.
It was the pirate captain speaking.
'Should we kill 'er cap'n?' asked one ruffian.
The captain stroked the side of Jess’s face and she tried to bite him.
He wrenched his hand away, an amused smile lighting up his face.
'No, not just yet.' he said. 'Take her aboard.'

Jess was tied down in the ships hold, her mouth gagged and weapons taken, save the dagger in her bodice that was hidden.
Too bad she couldn't get to it.
She gazed out of the porthole at the rolling waves and listened to the sound of the waves rolling past.
Suddenly, a speck appeared on the horizon and Jess head the scout yelling 'Patrol ship ahoy!'
Jess waited silently in the hold, wishing with all her might that there was someone on that ship that could help her.

Gammon smiled as he watched the blonde Dryad fight the pirates, but in vein. They then took her onto their ship, and Gammon stepped onto the beach in plain view. One of the pirates noticed him and said, "Hey! What are you doing here?!" Gammon smiled, and drew his sword. "That's pathetic you know. Doing this to a lady." Instead of using his sword, the chains from his suit came loose, and at the end of them were skulls with fangs, and they hung in mid-air as if they had a life of their own. "I suggest you hand her back." They all laughed. "Suit yourself." The chains shot straight at the pirates, going straight through one of them, lifting him off the ground, then slammed him into the sand. The other pirates started to back away, wide-eyed in horror. The chains let the pirate go and grabbed two more, sending them scrambling away. He slammed the two into the side of the ship, killing them instantly. He lumbered towards the other pirates, and followed them onto the ship.

Dark Descendant grins widely as she moves onto the beach, A few pirates stopping what they are doing and rushing towards her, Seeing her blades. She comes to a hault infront of their oncoming forms, A smirk across her lips as she watches them. Arms coming up swiftly to her Daito, She ducks down and moves forwards under the guards of her foe's. Bringing her blade swiftly out of it's mount and driving it forwards several times, Slicing it forwards in a series of slashes.
Her gaze shifts upwards as a spray of blood cots her face, The forms of the four pirates all dropping backwards, Frames collapsing to the now blood stained sand. Their forms mutilated by her sword. A series of large, deep stab wounds now covering their dead mutilated forms. She grins widely towards the rigid frames now upon the beach, Each one gurgling on their own blood before slowly dying. She spins her blade around, Wiping it off excess blood in a swift motion before continuing onwards. Tattered cloak billowing out behind her form as she moves forwards through the sand.

Gammon had no trouble with the pirates onboard the ship. After he was done on deck, Pirate bodies were scattered all over the deck in pools of blood and gore. Gammon sheathed his sword, and walked towards the cabin door, and kicked it in, sending a shower of splinters inwards. He walked down the hallway, and met a few burly looking pirates. He drew his sword again, and rushed at them, decapitating them both, sending sprays of blood on the walls. He sheathed his sword again and continued down the hallway.

Out from Gammons shadow came mathius in time to take the legs of 6 pirates, the cut was clean they all fell with a hard thump blood spurting out upon gammons cape and mathius. Mathius rolled under cutting the testiculls of of one and doing a brake like dance move cutting 9 more down leaving a mass of legless pirates. "sorry I'm Late."

A man in a mask walked up to dark decendent and looked at her through his mask and looked at the dead pirates."Its a bloody shame to se pirates attackin a femal." He paused and sighed and looked at the girl she was good.He pulled out his staff as he heard some pirates coming from behind him and wapped one across the face then a pirate took his staff.He turned into a tiger and jumped on the pirates and slashed they're necks and tunred back into a human he had blood all over his mask. And then his mask fell off and his eye's widened and his scar that went from his forhead down his eye and ended right before his chin his face was very pale and his pupils very small his yellow eyes glistened in the light.

Jess heard the screams of the pirates long before she saw who was inflicting the pain on them. Two men burst into the cargo hold, looking around and then down at her, tied to a pole, eyes wide with shock and fear.
She struggled vainly to escape, not knowing whether the men where here to help her or harm her. Although they certainly didn't seem to be on the pirates side.
She struggled again, this time to say something but the gag in her mouth was for stopping her doing just that, and all that came out was a muffled groan.
She stopped and watched the two men carefully, waiting to see if they would help her or not.

Gammon busted in the door, sending Splinters everywhere and entered. He knew this was where she was being kept. He saw her tied to a beam, obviously scared. He walked over to her, towering over her and cut her hands free of the ropes. He then siad, "We must leave now. We don't want to attract anymore attention than we already have." He said in a worried tone.

Jess blinked, her face surprised. Then she leapt to her feet, looking around. 'Thankyou so much!' she said to Gammon, her face shining with respect. With that she leapt out the wrecked door, hurtling down the corridor she ended up in. Looking back over her shoulder to make sure Gammon was following, she picked the lock of a large wooden door and entered.
She was in another cargo hold and she stood still for a second, her eyes searching the room.
There!
She ran to her weapons and belted them on. 'Alright, I'm ready.' she said to Gammon as he entered the room. He nodded and she followed him back out the door and up a set of stairs that led up to the deck.
Bursting out into the light, Jess found the deck littered with pirate body parts. 'They deserved it.' she thought to herself and followed Gammon towards the edge of the boat.
A couple of pirates tried to stop them but Jess drew her swords and leapt over them, driving her blades into their backs. Gammon stopped at the edge of the boat and Jess almost slammed into him.
She stopped at the last moment and looked down at the tossing waves. 'What do we do now?' she asked, her face confused.

" We can sale the ship back to Arda Its not that hard. I can guild it in the currents shadow and we'll be there in no time. By the way My names Mathius and you must be Gammon. and whats your name young lady?." Mathius asked her respectfully as he walked past them and ventured up the deck. Well this mess wasn't going to clean itself he drew hi sword and created a shadow net over the bodys lifted it upo and tossed it over the side of the boat. there that should do it he thought as he turned to face the newcomer aboard.

Jess looked doubtful. She really didnt like boats. 'Jess.' She said, watching as the body parts were dumped over the side. 'Alright... so I'll go and keep watch then.' she said and quickly swung herself up to the top of the crows nest.
There she watched the horizon for anything out of the ordinary, half watching the activity on the deck below. After nearly half an hour of watching the boring horizon, Jess noticed the top of a massive mast.
She blinked as it was closley followed by black sails and finally a boat that seemed to of been painted with tar.
It was obvious what the boat meant.
'Oh bad...' she muttered. 'Pirates!' she screamed down to the figures on the boat. A massive roar came then from the other boat and Jess looked up.
On the deck of the black boat was a massive cage, and in that cage was... 'They've got a gryphon!' she screamed down to Gammon. Leaping off the top of the mast, Jess swung down to the deck, drawing both her knives as she did.

Mathisu dropped down at that and let 3 arrows fly into the gryphon. as the gryphon struggled the fatser the poisen flowed and the faster it became weaker.
" lady can you help me fight this thing or get belowdeck it doesn't matter. Gammon get up here we have a problem !" mathius brew his sword rolling out of the way as the gryphon dove at him.

Jess gasped, pretending to look hurt. 'Go below decks?' she reapeated in mock horror. 'But there's nothing interesting down there!' she laughed and leapt at the gryphon, daggers drawn.
She darted under a raised foot and stabbed up at the unprotected stomach. Jess emerged from under the shreiking gryphon, covered in dark red blood.
'Remind me to get out of the way of the blood next time.' she said to Mathius, before leaping onto the beasts back with raised weapons. She stabbed her blades down, knives flashing as they were spurted with blood from the back of the gryphons neck.
That was until the gryphon hurled Jess overboard. She hit the water with a large splash and came up gasping for air.
She swung herself back onto the deck where the poisoned gryphon didn't seem to be tiring in the slightest, despite the numourous wounds now spurting blood all over the deck.
Jess shook her hair out of her eyes and leapt back into the fray.

Gammon heard all of the commotion and ran up onto the deck, and saw the Gryphon. "Oh boy." He chuckled. There was a rattle, and the chains from his suit shot at the Gryphon, and entangled it, holding it in mid-air. "That's as far as you go buddy!" He started to squeeze the Gryphon, making it scream in pain.

Mathisu turned to look for the gryphon and he saw gammon. well at least thats over he thought. fog set in fast and a melodywith it oh great mathius thought. in the distance shots were heard and the boat was hit causeing imence fires every where inn the distance a new threat awaited.

Gabbing on to the railing to stop herself flying overboard again, Jess swore. 'Not more pirates!' she groaned. 'That another reason I hate boats, there are always pirates!'
But was it pirates?
Jess dashed below decks to check the damage and found that the holes weren't made by cannon balls. They were made from... 'Fire.' Jess said in wonder.
She tore up onto the deck again where Mathius and Gammon were trying desperatly to put out the fire that raged on the bloodsoaked decks.
'They were fireballs!' she said breathlessly, skidding to a halt infront of Mathius.
'Whatever caused them, it wasn't pirates.'

Mathius looked about him, he saw a rope a bucket andf his sword. He moved fast dodgeing and ducking aroungd fireballs and flames he came close to being struck down by the flames, he swung the down the porte side into the water with the buck he used the shadows to increase the amount of water attained. mathius with all his might swung the water unto the deck putting out the flames and the incoming flames.
