A lake was running rather slow and the water had a red sort of mist a normal person would know that it was blood. The source of the blood was comming froma Boy about normal size.He was wearing a mask that was dinged and cracked. He had a gash on his right arm and his shirt was ripped in multiple places his hed was out of the water and he was bare foot. His fist were red from a fight. His left hand was open and had a locket in it witch he had been protecting. It appeared to be very valuable.
Keverin had stopped at about midday to rest. He had been travelling for the past few days, and a river along one of the paths he had taken seduced him. He could not resist, and his dry mouth cried out for water.
As Kev approached the river, he bent over and cupped his hands, placing them into the water. He pulled them out and sipped the water, which he gulped down in a second. Another cupfull of water was splashed into his face, and his hands went back to collect more. But, as the water reached his lips, it had a different feel. He tasted the little bit on his lips, and then spat it out in disgust....it had a strong, salty taste.
It wasn't until Kev opened his eyes from wetting his face when he realized that the water he had tried to drink was red, blood red. He looked down the stream, and saw the strain of red water going down the river, which lead him to believe the source was coming from upstream.
The startled wanderer leapt up and ran up coast, lugging the armor and sword that he wore. After a minute of going upstream, a gleam of metal against the sun caught his attention, and it came from a lump in the river.
When Kev reached the source, he was not surprised to find a body laying in the water. It was adult size, but the boy looked fairly young, and beaten up. A locket in his hands caught Kev's attention, and he reached out to inspect it. He picked it up, and placed it in his pocket for future reference. The body was the most important objective.
Taking a firm grasp on the body, Keverin picked it up and brought the boy to the shore. The current made the travel harder than it should be, as the water pushed against his legs, urging him to go down stream. When he reached a spot of dry grass along the bank, he placed the boy down and looked around, looking for any sign of help. But, there was none.
So, Keverin knelt down and checked for any sign of breathing, from either the nose, or the mouth.
Reighn looked at the man checking his pulse .He felt exhausted since he had lost so mutch blood."who....who are you?" he ascked while coughing. He hadnt noticed his lock missing yet his body was pretty mutch num from the battle.
Bat stood looking at the two humans form behind a tree carefully looking over them as he saw the man place the locket him his pocket before he mutters somthing about rotten luck. He gently looked around for others as he watched in silence at the two at the lake
