Title: Awaking<P>

Ploay - April 28, 2006 10:23 PM (GMT)

The sun was blood red as it was rising in the morning, it seemed like any other day, a few clouds, smoke from the volcano. Ploay was wandering near the volcano, stepping on the dead, burnt. ashen earth. She found no pleasure being here, but this place wasn’t completely awful, although; it did seem like it. As she walked, the burnt soil crumbled under her plain old sandals, as if they were dirt clumps. With her right hand, Ploay coughed, this air was polluted with ash and smoked, things she never found very pleasant. Shaking it off, she did her best to ingore the smell of the smoke. Finally she came to the side of the volcano, there seemed to be so much death lingering around it. Not one tree seemed to be alive, as if overkill took hold of all the plants, and creatures. When Ploay looked down at her feet she gasped, there was a fluff of feathers in the ash. She could only guess what it could be, but since she wasn’t sure, she squat down, and restedWhat could this be? her chin on her knuckles, and her elbows on her knees. Taking two fingers she lightly touched the feathers, they were so cold. Ploay thought to herself, as she dig around the pile of feathers. Then she saw it...

A dead bird laying down, so helpless, it looked like it chocked to death. Ploay coughed again, then she took some ash and piled it back on the bird, completely covering it. “Poor creature, it was too late for you,” Ploay said with a sigh, looking up at the smoke filled sky. Today just started, and already it was a sad day. Then Ploay whipped her head around, she heard something coming.

(My last topic as a normal being)

Snori took another step, he was almost at the top but he was exausted, climbing the volcano was hard for a man, but for the shorter legs of a dwarf it was a real chalenge. He began to make his final push to the plato. He reached up onto the final ledge and grabed on with his hand, the earth crumbled under his grip. The soil was meerly ash up here. He caughed as the smoke of the volcano continued to fill his lungs. It was thick and clung to him, and in his lungs, it was cirtenly not helping matters.

As he finaly stumbled over the rim, and stood on flat ground he looked about, dizhab and dengar were not to be seen but ploay was already up here. "Your lucky you probably flew all the way up" he leaned on his staff for suport as he walked over to her. "the other two havnt shown up yet have they, still its only a matter of time befored the damned new guardian and dengar show their faces.

He coughed as the smoke began to fill his lungs once more. Why a volcano?... well i geuss no one will get in the way.... so who are you going to attack first? dengar or dizhab?

((sorry for the lenght i have a lot on my mind)))

Dengar - May 6, 2006 04:10 PM (GMT)
The air was stale here, and the sun was deeper than anywhere else he knew on arda. That is why Dengar liked this place. It was his home ground, his land, his turf. He enjoyed the pain he felt whilst crossing the scorching rocks and loved the feeling of harsh smoke whipping into his face. It reminded him of his long dead family and brought him hope. He had been sitting down on the same boulder for a while now, waiting for the others to turn up. After an intelligance potion he recently stole and drunk mutated his mind into being able to speak common english, he was now ready to socialise with the other guardians. Of course his knowledge was still very small but it was improving very gradually. By the end of the next century he would surely know as much as an average man would, and hoped that he would learn to write eventually.

Smoke gushed out from a small crack in the ground and stinged his delicate eyes. He let out a screech of anguish and began swiping at the smoke attempting to get rid of it. He stood up and clambered off of the rock and onto the floor wiping his eyes. If they would not come to him, he would have to go to them. He slumped his tail onto the ground and let it drag along the ground as he explored the volcano. His knuckles stung as they pounded into the ground, so he decided that it would be best for him to walk on two feet, instead of on his hands and feet. The sun burnt down onto his back and it's heat conducted all over his body through his scales. Any heat here was experienced at least twice as much as anyone else, but Dengar had grown adapt to it and it was the main reason he was so unstoppable. If he didn't feel as much pain then he wouldn't know he was getting hurt. If he didn't know he was getting hurt he would keep going, not stopping and not resting.

He could hear talking from somewhere below him so he walked down the volcano to the source of noise. It sounded like Snori as Dwarves all tended to have the same voice, pitch and sound. Sure enough, Dengar peered over the edge of the small ledge he was standing on and saw Snori and Ploay conversing about...him! Dengar new that they would have noticed him by now so didn't bother hiding. Instead he spoke angrily, "What did you call me?!" in his low accented voice.
