The mage stepped into the forest ready to begin the expedition. They were to travel deep into the mist in search of the legendary Realm of Dreams. There the mage hoped to find answers as to why these illusions clouded his mind. If anything they must be dreams, thing his mind invented. If he wanted to extinguish them than the Realm of Dreams was the place to go.

He fearlessly led the way into the mist. He had once been here before and come out alive despite the overwhelming odds so he had nothing to fear this time. He held his staff in front of him hoping that the Liara’s magnificent gem would be able to spread a little more light through the clouded forest.

He gripped his vine whip in his right hand in case any unwelcome visitors decided to great the group into the woods. Its long green vines hung lifelessly from the tip of the handle. No one would ever suspect that they could spring to life at the wielder’s slightest whim.

The being of neither Arda nor the fourth dimension walked into the forbidding mist ready to do what he must to find the time stream of this world. He looked almost human, but there giveaways that he was something else. One thing was the two small horns centered above his eyes. Another thing was the oddly blue veins that were clearly visible on his body.

He held his staff in his hand as he tried to see through the thick fog that covered the forest floor. Any mortal would be naturally terrified of this place, but for some reason, Wolfe was unfearing. Perhaps it was because he knew he should not even exist, a knowledge that drove him to do the hardest of tasks without fear.

He was not alone, however. A strange mage was walking right in front of him. The two did not say a word to each other as they maneuvered through the heavy haze. They had found each other in a city. Both had wanted to go on a journey into the realm of dreams, but it was just plain stupid to attempt the journey through the mystical forest by one’s self, so they decided to strike up an expedition together.
